Prince Charles doesn’t want to live in Buckingham Palace

OHMYGOSSIP — The Prince of Wales reportedly doesn’t want to move into Buckingham Palace when he becomes the King of England.
The 68-year-old royal is currently the first in line to take over the throne when his mother Queen Elizabeth II abdicates, but it is believed that when the time comes Prince Charles isn’t willing to relocate from Clarence House, where he currently resides with his wife the Duchess of Cornwall, to the lavish Westminster abode, The Sunday Times has reported.
It is believed a factor contributing to Charles’ reluctance to move house is because he is concerned about how costly it will be to maintain the 775 rooms, and keep Buckingham Palace in pristine condition all year round.
And on top of the cleaning fees, Charles is also worried by the news that tax payer’s will reportedly have to fund the £370-million renovation the royal headquarters are due to undergo, which are believed to take 10 years to fully complete,.
A spokesperson said: “Buckingham Palace will remain the official London residence of the monarch.”
It has also been reported that senior aide to the monarch has denied any speculation that royal protocol will change in the future, which will make it difficult for Charles to stay at Clarence House, which is situated in London’s The Mall.
The 91-year-old royal is currently enjoying her annual holiday at Balmoral, which means Buckingham Palace has been open to the public since June and will remain open for visitors until October this year.
And the Queen’s absence has led people to request for the building to remain open for longer than the annual four months, and to be extended for six months instead.
A source told the publication: “What’s to say Buckingham Palace can’t be opened to the public for at least six months, while keeping the state rooms pristine for use during big occasions?

Prince William receives avocado from a child during Liverpool trip

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Cambridge was given an avocado from a child to help cure Duchess Catherine’s morning sickness.
The 35-year-old royal recently took a trip to Liverpool, and during his stay he visited a leisure centre in Wallasey in Merseyside where he met with a four-year-old boy named Archie Weatherall.
And during Prince William’s encounter with the youngster he was given the green fruit wrapped in a big bow to pass on to his 35-year-old spouse, who is expecting their third child, because the child thought the food item would help the brunette beauty overcome her illness.
When William received the generous offer he promised Archie he would give the item to his partner and wished his mother well.
The Headteacher at Riverside Primary School, Christina Lahive, told the Express Online: “He [William] said he’d take it to her and see what happens – and said good luck for Archie’s mummy.”
William – who also has four-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte with Catherine – also received cuddly toys from fans during his visit, but Archie’s gift marked the first time the star has ever received an avocado from a fan.
Christina added: “He [William] said he’s never been given an avocado before.”
Duchess Catherine announced in a statement she was expanding her brood, but was battling hyperemesis gravidarum, which she endured during her first two pregnancies, and was resting at her home.
The statement read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.
“As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today.
“The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”

Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ co-star banned from posting pictures of her on social media

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle’s ‘Suits’ co-star Patrick J Adams has banned himself from posting pictures of her on social media.
The 36-year-old actor – who portrays Mike Ross in the popular American show – has revealed he “overthinks” everything he uploads on social media because he is fearful of the “ramifications”, especially after the reaction he received to an old photograph he posted that captured the brunette beauty kissing his cheek.
Speaking to Esquire about the 36-year-old actress – who is currently dating Prince Harry -, the star said: “I’m not good at it, I overthink every post that I put out and the ramifications and who’ll be listening and how it’ll be received.
“I posted this old photo I had found of Meghan and I on set. I went to bed, and woke up in the morning and realised ‘Oh, yeah. I live in a world where you can’t post things about Meghan.’
“I had this onslaught of people retweeting the thing, people thinking it was a recent picture, and I just thought, ‘What the hell is going on?’
“It was such an innocent moment of sentimentality that was twisted into something totally different. It made me feel like… why put myself through this?”
But Patrick has revealed there was nothing “lurid” behind the post as he considers Meghan to be more like a sibling.
The Canadian-born hunk – who married Troian Bellisario last year – continued: “We’re like brother and sister, it’s not like it was lurid or anything, but it just became a story that people wanted to talk about.”

Prince William visits Life Rooms during Liverpool trip

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Cambridge sat in on a medical coaching session during his recent visit to Liverpool.
The 35-year-old recently visited the city and during his trip Prince William listened in on a discussion at the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Life Rooms, which is the home of the Recovery College, and hopes to educate people about mental health.
The Kensington Palace Instagram account shared the details of William’s trip on their photo-sharing site.
Alongside an image of William – who has four-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte with his wife Duchess Catherine, who is pregnant with their third child – sat beside other members, it read: “During HRH’s visit to Liverpool, The Duke sat in on a group coaching session at the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Life Rooms in Walton.
Life Rooms is a hub and home for the Recovery College, which has helped 16,000 since it first opened. The centre aims to challenge the stigma around mental health and promotes positive mental health, learning and wellbeing. (sic).”
William became aware of the Life Rooms earlier this year during his campaigning for the Heads Together organisation, which he co-founded with his younger brother Prince Harry and Catherine.
The post continued: “Life Rooms provide group and 1-2-1 advice sessions on finances, addiction, and employment and offer a space for community groups to meet. Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is one of the leading mental health trusts in the country. Their work became known to HRH during the @heads_together campaign this year. (sic).”
William’s “last stop” during his trip to Liverpool saw him head to the Guinea Gap Leisure Centre where he watched the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA) and the Swim England groups practice, after enjoying a conversation with the star.
A separate image of William standing poolside was also shared on the social media page, and was captioned: “In the last stop during his day around Liverpool, The Duke of Cambridge visited the Guinea Gap Leisure Centre to watch activities involving three related patronages of His Royal Highness – the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC), English Schools Swimming Association (ESSA) and Swim England (formally Amateur Swimming Association). After chatting to divers, children from Wallasey Swimming Club showcased Swim England’s ‘Learn to Swim’ programme and BSAC’s snorkeling and diving activities. Before leaving, there was just enough time for The Duke to catch the ESSA water polo session in action. (sic).”

Prince William predicts his daughter will be ‘trouble’

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Cambridge thinks his daughter will be “trouble” when she grows up.
The 35-year-old royal has admitted his oldest child Prince George, four, – who he has with his wife the Duchess of Cambridge – currently “rules the roost”, but he has revealed his youngest offspring, Princess Charlotte, two, is not far behind and he has no doubts she will cause mayhem as she grows up.
Speaking about his brood to a patient named Pagan Tordengrav during his visit to Aintree University Hospital, in Liverpool, on Thursday (14.09.17), which has also been reported on PEOPLE, Prince William said: “George rules the roost but Charlotte isn’t far behind. I think she’s going to be trouble when she’s older.”
William has revealed he has even been warned by fellow fathers how to handle his daughter.
He said: “All fathers say that to me – watch out for the little girls.”
And it won’t be long until William and Duchess Catherine – who was formerly known as Kate Middleton prior to marrying the royal – welcome a third child into their family, as the couple recently announced they are expecting another baby together.
The couple – who got married in 2011 – previously released a statement to announce the news, which read: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.

Prince George settles into private school ‘really easy’

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George has settled into private school “really easy”.
The four-year-old royal – who is the oldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – started Thomas Battersea institution last week, and the youngster has taken to education like a duck to water and has not complained about student life just yet.
Speaking about his son’s first few days at school to patients at Aintree University Hospital, which has been reported on Yahoo! New Zealand’s website, Prince William said: “It’s been an interesting week.
“George has been really easy. He hasn’t said, ‘Have I got to do this for the rest of my life?'”
But the 35-year-old parent is waiting to see how long George’s positive attitude towards school will last, as he thinks it won’t be long before he complains he doesn’t want to go to class.
William added: “We are all seeing how long that lasts before he doesn’t want to go!”
This news comes a few days after a suspected stalker, who is believed to be in her 40s, was arrested after she allegedly tried to break into George’s private school.
Despite the commotion, the children dealt with the ordeal perfectly fine, and it was the pupils’ parents who were left in “floods of tears”.
William added: “Most of the parents were in floods of tears. The kids were all fine.”
However, it is understood that the woman did not have contact with any of the children at the school and, although motives are currently unclear, no one was said to be in danger.
And it is believed George was not present at the time of the incident as he finishes at 12pm due to reception only attending mornings.

Prince Harry introduces girlfriend Meghan Markle to Queen Elizabeth

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry has reportedly introduced his girlfriend Meghan Markle to his grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
The 32-year-old royal has only been dating the ‘Suits’ actress for just over a year, but it looks like things are getting serious between them as he decided to take the brunette beauty to meet the monarch when they returned from their three-week trip in Botswana and Zambia on September 2.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Harry decided to take Meghan to visit as he hadn’t been up yet all summer.
“He wanted to introduce Meghan to the queen. It went well. It’ll no doubt be the first of many encounters. The entire weekend was a success. He was able to introduce someone he loves to someone he cares for deeply.”
The revelation that Meghan, 36, has met Harry’s family comes shortly after she said she was “in love” with the prince for the first time in a Vanity Fair magazine interview and admitted the couple are “really happy” together.
But her openness has raised the eyebrows of Harry’s late mother Princess Diana’s former butler as he doesn’t think she should be talking about their romance this early on.
Paul Burrell said recently: “Meghan is in a position where she can’t win, and she’ll learn that soon. Maybe it was a mistake for her to speak out so early. People are so desperate to learn more about her, but if you open the door a tiny bit to your life, it’s hard to close it. Diana said the media was like a wild animal that she tried to tame but would always bite off her hand, and Meghan will learn that too.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to wed at Westminster Abbey?

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can get married at Westminster Abbey.
Speculation over whether the couple – who have been dating over a year – would be able to exchange vows at the historic church has been rife since engagement rumours started to fly earlier this year because it was thought old religious doctrine surrounding the royal family would stand in their way as the ‘Suits’ actress was previously married to TV producer Trevor Engelson from 2011 until 2013.
But a spokesperson for Westminster Abbey, where Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge previously got hitched, has confirmed nothing will prevent them from tying the knot at the church in London.
Speaking to the Express.co.uk, the representative for Westminster Abbey said in a statement: “The Abbey follows the General Synod Ruling of 2002. Since then it has been possible for divorced people to be married in the Church of England.”
And the spokesperson confirmed the 36-year-old star’s Jewish faith won’t prevent her and the prince from enjoying an “interfaith” relationship either.
The royal pair have even got the go-ahead to wed at St Paul’s Cathedral – just like Harry’s parents Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana did in 1981.
However, the flame-haired prince – who is currently fifth-in-line to the throne – will need permission from his grandmother Queen Elizabeth to marry the brunette beauty.
And, although they’re not yet engaged, Meghan is reportedly keen to have her best friend Priyanka Chopra to be her Maid of Honour when they head for the altar.
A source said: “She plans to ask her best friend Priyanka Chopra.”
And Prince George and Princess Charlotte – the children of Harry’s brother Prince William and his wife Duchess Catherine – are set to heavily feature in the big day.
The insider added: “Harry adores his niece and nephew and so does Meghan.”

Duchess Catherine’s craving spicy food and candy

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Catherine has reportedly been craving “spicy food and candy.”
The 35-year-old royal is expecting her third child with her husband Prince William, with whom she already has four-year-old son Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte, and, although she’s been riddled with severe morning sickness, her body has been telling her to scoff hot curries and lots of sugary sweets.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Kate has always wanted a third child. She has been trying for another baby for months… she is suffering from nausea and morning sickness again, and she cannot stop eating spicy food and candy.”
The couple – who got married in 2011 – announced their baby news last week after the brunette beauty was forced to pull out of a royal engagement due to sickness – something she was hospitalised with during her two previous pregnancies.
But the royal family – including Prince Harry and Prince Charles – found out about the happy news a while back and Queen Elizabeth, who will be the unborn tot’s great-grandmother, is said to be “ecstatic” that there’s a new little one joining the clan.
The insider explained: “Kate has talked to Queen Elizabeth about her motherhood plans, and she has been incredibly supportive. Her majesty is just delighted that Kate has turned out to be such a star for the royal family. After all the scandals from the past, the queen is glad Kate has brought stability to the family.”
And Prince Harry – the brother of William – can’t wait to become an uncle again.
He said recently of the baby news: “[It’s] fantastic, great. Very, very happy for them.”

Prince George won’t have a best friend at school

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George won’t be allowed to have a best friend at school.
The four-year-old royal – the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – started at Thomas’s Battersea in London last week but he will be discouraged from bonding with just one person and, instead, pushed to make friends with everyone in his class.
Jane Moore – who lives close to the school and has friends who send their children there – is quoted by HELLO! magazine as saying: “No, absolutely not. There’s a policy that if your child is having a party, unless every child in the class is invited, you don’t give out the invites in class, which I think is a good thing as you don’t feel excluded. There are signs everywhere saying be kind, that’s the ethos of the school. They don’t encourage you to have best friends. It’s a very traditional school in the way that I learned when I went to school, in that robust learning.
“The phonetics of the alphabet and stuff like that, which a lot of school don’t do anymore. He will learn to read and write very quickly.
“It’s a school that really expects parental involvement. The parents are very heavily involved in the school, so they [William and Kate] will be as well.”
However, the duke and duchess – who also have two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte together – will certainly have their hands full as they’re expecting their third child together and Catherine has been really ill with severe morning sickness.
The 35-year-old royal was so poorly that she sadly missed George’s first day at school and William, also 35, took him to meet his new teacher on his own.

Woman arrested after trying to break into Prince George’s school

OHMYGOSSIP — A suspected stalker in her 40s was arrested yesterday (13.09.17) after she allegedly tried to break into Prince George’s private school in London.
A review of the security measures and procedures at Thomas’s Battersea school was carried out last night after an unnamed woman was detained at the gates of the children’s learning facility at around 2:15pm on suspicion of attempted burglary.
The suspect allegedly gained unlawful access to the school on Tuesday (12.09.17) afternoon before leaving unchallenged after she posed as a visitor.
But she raised eyebrows when she returned the next day (Wednesday) at around the same time and was spotted loitering around outside the gates.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “The arrest at 14:15hrs on Wednesday, 13 September relates to an incident at Thomas’s Battersea school on Tuesday, 12 September when an individual gained access to its premises.
“The arrested woman was taken to a south London police station where she remains in custody. We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangements after the incident. Police were alerted and officers attended immediately after the issue came to light.”
It is understood that the woman did not have contact with any of the children at the school and, although motives are currently unclear, no one was said to be in danger.
Four-year-old George – the eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – started at the school, which costs £18,000 a year, last week but was not present at the time of the incident as he finishes at 12pm due to reception only attending mornings.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to choose ‘traditional’ name for baby 3

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will give their third child a “traditional but down-to-earth” name.
The royal couple announced they were expecting another baby earlier this month and, since then, betting sites have been crazy trying to predict the unborn royal’s moniker but Christian Turner, global naming director at Siegel+Gale, thinks the pair will opt for something that carries some “weight.”
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, he said: “The key consideration when naming a royal baby is the fine balance between tradition and accessibility. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will want the fifth-in-line to the throne to bear a name worthy of such weight, and it’s therefore likely they will choose a solid, traditional name with strong links to royalty. At the same time, they won’t want to appear old-fashioned or haughty, so choosing a name the public can embrace is equally important.”
It’s not yet known whether the pair are expecting a little boy or girl but they’ll no doubt want a name that fits well with their four-year-old Prince George and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte.
Mr. Turner explained: “George and Charlotte are excellent examples of names that strike the balance perfectly; royal by tradition, solid in heritage, both names have enjoyed a resurgence over the last decade, and it’s not uncommon to hear either name being called in the local playground. This is common of the style of this generation of royals, who want to be more down-to-earth.”
The duke and duchess, both 35, were forced to announce their baby news last week after the brunette beauty pulled out of a royal engagement due to Hyperemesis Gravidarum – a debilitating form of serious morning sickness – which she suffered with during her two previous pregnancies.
Kensington Palace said in a statement: “Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child. The Queen and both their families are delighted with the news.”

Duke of Cambridge reveals baby’s due date?

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Cambridge has seemingly revealed that his new baby is due in March.
The 35-year-old royal was forced to announced that he and his wife Duchess Catherine, 35, are expecting their third child earlier this month after the brunette beauty missed their four-year-old son Prince George’s first day of school due to severe morning sickness – something she’s suffered with all of her pregnancies.
And it looks like the prince – who also has two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte with Catherine – has accidentally spilled when the little one is expected to be born as he admitted they can start “celebrating” their baby news properly from later this week.
Although he didn’t confirm the duchess is due early next year, people tend not to celebrate their pregnancy until they hit the three-month mark as there is less chance of miscarriage and it’s usually when parents are able to see their baby properly on a scan.
After being congratulated by an audience member at the National Mental Health and Policing conference in Oxford, William – according to the Daily Star newspaper – said: “Thank you, it’s very good news. There’s not much sleep going on at the moment. It was a bit anxious to start with but we can start celebrating this week.”
The couple – who got married in 2011 – announced their pregnancy in a statement.
It said: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child.

Prince George gets three-course meal at school

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George can eat a three-course meal every day at school.
The four-year-old royal started at his new primary school St Thomas’s in Battersea, London, last week and, although he was no doubt nervous, he will certainly be well-fed during his years there as all of the kids are given the option of having a starter, main and dessert as well as freshly-baked bread every day at lunchtime.
According to today.com, the plush school offers lamb ragout with garlic and fresh herbs, “BBQ” pork strips, tomato and avocado bruschetta, baked smoked mackerel, free range chicken with minced chili con carne and three bean ratatouille, to name a few, on the menu and every child has the option of a meat, fish or vegetarian meal.
Afters is equally impressive as the kids have the option of custard tarts and cookies as well as fresh tropical fruit smoothies and calorific milkshakes.
The school’s website also states that it does not knowingly use “convenience or processed” foods, undesirable additives or hydrogenated fats in its recipes.
And it’s the perfect place to be for children with allergies as it practices a no nuts policy and caters for children who follow gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free diets.
And, although he comes from the royal family, George – whose mother and father are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – won’t be given any special treatment.
The school’s former head teacher Ben Thomas said recently: “Our aim for him, as well as for all of our pupils, is to provide a safe and secure and happy environment where he feels supported by a kind and loving community. That’s something we will be trying to achieve for him. There won’t be any special treatment at all. In fact, what his parents would like for him, as any parent would like for their child, is they have a wonderful, fulfilling and private childhood in a place which is secure.”
The palace has also confirmed that George will drop his royal title to make him feel as normal as possible during his time at the £17,604-a-year institution.

Prince George loves LEGO

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George is obsessed with LEGO.
The Duke of Cambridge – the young prince’s father – was blown away when he was shown a 280,000-brick model of a McLaren 720S sports car at McLaren Automotive’s headquarters in Woking, Surrey, on Tuesday (12.09.17) and admitted his four-year-old son would have “loved” to have seen the impressive statue.
According to PEOPLE.com, the 35-year-old royal said: “Wow, my son would love this. My son’s very into Lego and he’d love this. It’s incredible.”
And George – whose mother is Duchess Catherine – will certainly get to play with a lot of LEGO over the next coming months as he has just started primary school.
The youngster had his first day at St Thomas’s in Battersea last week but the establishment’s former head teacher Ben Thomas has revealed he will be treated no different to his fellow classmates during his time at the £17,000-a-year institution.
He said: “Our aim for him, as well as for all of our pupils, is to provide a safe and secure and happy environment where he feels supported by a kind and loving community. That’s something we will be trying to achieve for him.
“There won’t be any special treatment at all. In fact, what his parents would like for him, as any parent would like for their child, is they have a wonderful, fulfilling and private childhood in a place which is secure.”
And, although George was no doubt nervous ahead of his first day, William recently said everything went smoothly and there was no drama – unlike other parents.
He said: “It went well. There was one other parent who had more of an issue with their children so I was quite pleased I wasn’t the one.”

Meghan Markle made ‘mistake’ talking about Prince Harry

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Diana’s former butler thinks Meghan Markle made a “huge mistake” talking about her romance with Prince Harry – but hopes she’ll soon “learn” to keep quiet.
Paul Burrell – who was the late royal’s servant for 10 years – couldn’t help but cringe when he heard that the brunette beauty had been speaking about the flame-haired hunk in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine recently because it’s too “early” in their relationship to give people an in-depth insight into their love.
Speaking to Closer magazine, he said: “Meghan is in a position where she can’t win, and she’ll learn that soon. Maybe it was a mistake for her to speak out so early.”
And Paul thinks the ‘Suits’ actress will be under even more pressure to spill the beans about the royal family and her life now that she’s “opened the door a tiny bit.”
He explained: “People are so desperate to learn more about her, but if you open the door a tiny bit to your life, it’s hard to close it.
“Diana said the media was like a wild animal that she tried to tame but would always bite off her hand, and Meghan will learn that too.”
Paul’s stark warning comes just days after Meghan, 36, claimed she was “in love” with Harry for the first time in public and admitted the couple – who have been together for more than a year – are “really happy” together.
She said: “I can tell you that at the end of the day I think it’s really simple.
“We’re two people who are really happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception.
“Nothing about me changed. I’m still the same person that I am, and I’ve never defined myself by my relationship.”
And Meghan is prepared for a time when she and Harry – who is fifth in line to the throne – will have to “present ourselves” in public, but for now the pair are enjoying the “special”, early stages of their relationship.
