Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla reveal Christmas card

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have shared their 2021 Christmas card.
The British royals’ greeting card was posted on the Clarence House Instagram page, and it features a photograph of them taken by Samir Hussein at Royal Ascot in the summer, in which they are both wearing face coverings.
The picture of the card is captioned: “As the countdown to Christmas begins, today we’re sharing this year’s official Christmas card from The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.”
The choice of an image of the pair in masks comes after Charles and Camilla urged anyone hesitant to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
They hailed the “ingenuity and determination” of those involved in the vaccination drive on the anniversary of the first jab in Britain earlier this week.
A statement from Charles, 73, and Camilla, 74, read: “We can only urge you to look at the evidence in our intensive care wards.
“People who are unvaccinated are at least 10 times more likely to be hospitalised or die than those who have had two vaccine doses.”
The pair also revealed that they had received their booster injections as they urged those who have any doubts to listen to the warnings of those working in the NHS, who have spoken of the heightened risks facing people who have not been vaccinated.
They said: “That is why we urge everyone to get vaccinated and to take up the booster, as we have done ourselves.”
Charles and Camilla also paid tribute to the work of the NHS as more than 100 million doses have been delivered since the first jab back in December 2020.
The couple added: “We can only offer our most heartfelt thanks and congratulations to all the scientists, volunteers and workers across the NHS who have helped bring about this extraordinary achievement.”
Charles contracted COVID-19 in March last year and later admitted that he feels “lucky” to have got away with it lightly.
He said: “I’ve had it, and I can so understand what other people have gone through. And I feel particularly for those for instance, who have lost their loved ones and have been unable to be with them at the time. That to me is the most ghastly thing.”

Will Smith vomitava dopo aver fatto sesso

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Smith quasi soffocava e vomitava dopo aver avuto un orgasmo.
Sviluppai una reazione psicosomatica all’orgasmo. Sentivo letteralmente di stare per soffocare e a volte vomitavo addirittura”.
Il 53enne ha spiegato anche che cercava l’amore nelle donne con cui andava a letto. “Speravo che ognuna di queste sconosciute potesse essere quella giusta, che potesse amarmi e far sparire il dolore. Ma non succedeva mai. Guardarle negli occhi mi provocava un’agonia ancora peggiore”, ha quindi aggiunto.

Prince Harry slams term Megxit

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry has branded the term ‘Megxit’ “misogynistic”.
The Duke of Sussex claims the word – which was coined after he and wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, stepped back from royal life and moved to America and was a play on ‘Brexit’, the popular term for Great Britain leaving the European Union (EU) – was started “by a troll” before growing into widespread usage and he finds it insulting.
Speaking on the ‘RE:WIRED’ virtual summit’s ‘Internet Lie Machine’ panel, Harry said: “The term ‘Megxit’ was or is a misogynistic term that was created by a troll, amplified by world correspondents, and it grew and grew and grew onto mainstream media. But it began with a troll.”
Harry hit out at the “disturbing” way “hate speech” about his wife online has made it into the mainstream.
Discussing a recent Bot Sentinel study that traced the way hate speech about the couple travelled online, he said: “More than 70 percent of the hate speech about my wife was driven by fewer than 50 accounts, and perhaps the most disturbing part of this was the number of British journalists who were interacting with them and amplifying the lies. But they regurgitate these lies as truth.”
And Harry – who has children Archie, two, and Lili, five months, with Meghan – expressed his concern that public scrutiny could have a damaging effect on his family, having lost his mother Princess Diana in 1997 when she was in a car crash after trying to flee paparazzi in Paris.
He said: “I felt it personally over the years, and I’m now watching it happen globally affecting everyone, not just America, literally everyone around the world. I learned from a very early age that the incentives of publishing are not necessarily aligned with the incentives of the truth.
“I know the story all too well. I lost my mother to this self-manufactured rabidness, and obviously I’m determined not to lose the mother to my children to the same thing.
“The scale of misinformation now is terrifying. No one’s safe from it, no one is protected from it. You can’t hide from it and we continue to see lives ruined families destroyed in one single household.”

Prince George’s ‘eyes lit up’ when he ate an ant

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince George’s “eyes lit up” when he ate a live ant.
The eight-year-old royal – who is the eldest son of Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – attended the King’s Cup Regatta on the Isle of Wight two years ago, and adventurer Bear Grylls was invited to meet the young prince by his grandmother Carole Middleton because he was a big fan.
The 47-year-old star didn’t “really mean” to encourage George to tuck into one of the insects but it was a “privilege” to join him in doing so.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, Bear said: “And so we were chatting, and he was down here, and just as we were chatting a stream of ants went across his feet, and him and me looked at them, he looked at me with those amazed wide eyes, and I said, ‘Come on, we’ve got to eat one.’ And he said ‘Oh really?’ and we ate.
“It was a privilege to give the future King his first ant, and his eyes lit up as they do with anyone when they’re out in the wild and they face a few fears and they overcome them, so good for him.”
Bear praised the prince for giving the unusual snack a try.
He said: “What a little hero.”
The survival expert went on to win the Regatta and gave George a shout-out during his speech, much to the amusement of the prince’s parents and the rest of the crowd.
He said during the awards ceremony: “And also Prince George, your first ant you ate today … And that is a great moment. Well done, you.”
Eight boats took part in the regatta that year, with each representing one of Catherine or William’s charities.
And the royals themselves competed, with William placing third in the first race and his wife in seventh. And the pair fared even worse in the second race, as the prince’s team were fifth but Catherine’s were disqualified for starting too early.

Duchess of Sussex praises efforts of community kitchen volunteers

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is “proud” of the “incredible” achievements of the women who created the Hubb community kitchen in the wake of the Grenfell fire tragedy.
The former ‘Suits’ actress made a phone call from her California home to a group who had gathered for a celebratory lunch at the Al-Manaar centre in London on Wednesday (27.10.21) and congratulated them on their efforts and how far they have come since they established the facility, which provided meals for bereaved and homeless locals after the shocking tower block blaze in June 2017, which killed 72.
Meghan – who wrote the foreword for the Hubb’s ‘Together’ cookbook, which raised funds to renovate the kitchen – told the group: “We founded Hubb together and I think what I’m most proud of is what you’ve all been able to do, not just what we created to meet an immediate need right after the fire.
“If you go back to where it all began you just didn’t have a place to cook and people forget that’s what it came down to, needing the resources to do what you do so well — as we all know because we can taste it. But also to do it together and how…the cookbook ended up having the impact we wanted because it raised enough to get you all the help in the kitchen you needed.”
The lunch was staged to mark the achievements of the women, who have launched their own projects since the cookbook, and Meghan – who has son Archie, two, and daughter Lili, four months, with husband Prince Harry – praised the way they and the kitchen have become the heart of the local community.
She continued: “But beyond that, what you turned it into as a group and individually is incredible, you’ve just continued to take care of everyone in the community.
“If you think how many thousands of people have been affected by your recipes and by your love and what you’ve done to take care of frontline workers and families during Covid and children and after school groups and women in hospital and new mums…”
One of the volunteers, Chérine Mallah, admitted it was “lovely” to hear from the duchess.
She told the Evening Standard newspaper: “It was lovely to have our work celebrated by Meghan. We were really happy to hear from the duchess. It was just incredible. It really encourages us to continue in what we have been doing and makes us feel quite proud of the work we have done and the projects we have been running.
“It is quite impressive really to have the support from Meghan. For us, it is just our normal lives. It is massive for us. The next days of our lives are just the same but we know that someone as famous as Meghan is backing us. It is really lovely.”

Duchess Meghan was ‘overwhelmed’ after daughter’s birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, felt “overjoyed and overwhelmed” after welcoming her daughter into the world.
The former ‘Suits’ actress – who has Archie, two, and Lili, four months, with husband Prince Harry – has penned a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer in order to advocate for paid parental leave in the US.
In the note, Meghan – who said she was writing as an “engaged citizen and a parent” – recalled how she and her husband had similar feelings to many parents after she gave birth to their second child, but she knew they were lucky not to have the worry of missing out on early milestones because of working commitments or experiencing financial hardship by taking a career break.
She wrote: “In June, my husband and I welcomed our second child. Like any parents, we were overjoyed. Like many parents, we were overwhelmed.
“Like fewer parents, we weren’t confronted with the harsh reality of either spending those first few critical months with our baby or going back to work.
“We knew we could take her home, and in that vital (and sacred) stage, devote any and everything to our kids and to our family. We knew that by doing so we wouldn’t have to make impossible choices about childcare, work, and medical care that so many have to make every single day.
“No family should be faced with these decisions. No family should have to choose between earning a living and having the freedom to take care of their child (or a loved one, or themselves, as we would see with a comprehensive paid leave plan).”
Meghan also recalled the financial struggles of her own parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle, when she was growing up.
She wrote: “I grew up on the $4.99 salad bar at Sizzler—it may have cost less back then (to be honest, I can’t remember)—but what I do remember was the feeling: I knew how hard my parents worked to afford this because even at five bucks, eating out was something special, and I felt lucky.
“And as a Girl Scout, when my troop would go to dinner for a big celebration, it was back to that same salad bar or The Old Spaghetti Factory—because that’s what those families could afford to do too.
“I started working (at the local frozen yogurt shop) at the age of 13. I waited tables, babysat, and piecemealed jobs together to cover odds and ends. I worked all my life and saved when and where I could – but even that was a luxury – because usually it was about making ends meet and having enough to pay my rent and put gas in my car.
The 40-year-old duchess highlighted the issues many new parents face and how some were “exacerbated” by the coronavirus pandemic.
She noted: “The working mom or parent is facing the conflict of being present or being paid. The sacrifice of either comes at a great cost.”
Meghan urged the politicians to support President Joe Biden’s proposal of giving parents 12 weeks of paid leave.
She wrote: “This is about putting families above politics. And for a refreshing change, it’s something we all seem to agree on. At a point when everything feels so divisive, let this be a shared goal that unites us.
“So, on behalf of my family, Archie and Lili and Harry, I thank you for considering this letter, and on behalf of all families, I ask you to ensure this consequential moment is not lost.”

Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth loved things going wrong

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip “loved” things going “wrong” on royal engagements.
The monarch and her late husband – who died in April aged 99 – couldn’t help but see the funny side when things didn’t run smoothly and would find it “exciting” if something didn’t go according to plan.
Speaking in documentary ‘Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers’, which aired on Wednesday (22.09.21) on BBC One, Prince William said of his late grandfather: “He enjoys playing practical jokes and foolery. He loved when things go wrong.
“My grandparents love when things go wrong. You can imagine, they have lived a life where everything has to go right the whole time, so when things go wrong, theory both chuckle. Everyone else is mortified embarrassed. They love it.”
And in a separate interview, the Duke of Cambridge’s brother, Prince Harry, agreed.
He said: “I think there is an imbalance of there is everyone doing everything like, ‘The Duke of Edinburgh is coming, let’s make sure we get everything absolutely right. Remember every single year we’ve got it right, let’s do that.’
‘But the two of them are going, ‘I wonder if something is going to go wrong this year. How exciting.’
“What I remember now is the expressions on his face to the things that went wrong. He would just sit there completely calmly and just watch us run by.”
And Philip’s grandchildren recalled how the Duke of Edinburgh used humour to put people at ease and was very quick-witted.
Princess Beatrice said: “I think he has a very good observational humour but you’ve really got to be quick, you’ve really got to be paying attention.
“I think he uses humour to make people feel at ease. He is always there to break the ice as well.”
William added: “He’s brilliant at finding amusing moments and teasing people. if you try to be too clever with him and say something a bit silly, he will jump on it.”
William recalled one funny incident in Scotland, when the royals encountered a group of teenagers undertaking an expedition as part of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme – and when Philip stopped to find out how they were getting on, they failed to recognise him and told him to “jog on”.
He said: “We were travelling together as a family driving out in Scotland. And we came across what very obviously was some Duke of Edinburgh people, with rucksacks on, and he spotted them and stopped and wound down his window.
“He said, ‘Good morning how are you getting on?’
“To which the smallest young chap at the back effectively said, ‘Jog on grandpa!’
“To which my grandfather wound the window back up, drove off smiling and said to everyone in the car, ‘The youths of today.’
“For the purposes of this film, I thought jog on was a more appropriate way of saying it.
“My grandfather has a very good sense of humour.”

Bulling allegations against Duchess of Sussex ‘rescinded’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bullying allegations against the Duchess of Sussex have reportedly been “rescinded”.
It was claimed earlier this year that 40-year-old Meghan had been accused of mistreating royal staff members but a new epilogue to biography ‘Finding Freedom’ – which is about the duchess and her husband Prince Harry and their departure from royal life – reveals the allegations were later withdrawn.
The original allegations were laid bare in The Times newspaper and said the bullying claims had been detailed in emails.
One such email was sent from Harry and Meghan’s former communications director Jason Knauf to Kensington Palace Private Secretary Simon Case in October 2018, in which he wrote he was “very concerned” about the ex-‘Suits’ actress’ conduct and claimed she had been “able to bully two PAs out of the household in the past year.”
He wrote: “The treatment of [name redacted] was totally unacceptable. The duchess seems intent on always having someone in her sights. She is bullying [name redacted] and seeking to undermine her confidence. We have had report after report from people who have witnessed unacceptable behaviour towards [name redacted].”
However, ‘Finding Freedom’ authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote in their updated book that their sources “confirmed that upon the discovery of Jason’s email, two of the individuals mentioned in the email asked for any allegations made to HR about their experiences with Meghan be rescinded.”
Meghan had previously denied the allegations against her and said she was “saddened” by the claims.
Her team said in a statement at the time: “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.
“She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”
However, Buckingham Palace admitted they were “very concerned” about the allegations and announced they would conduct an investigation, which they confirmed in June was still ongoing.

Duchess of Sussex supported Naomi Osaka after French Open withdrawal

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duchess of Sussex secretly supported Naomi Osaka after she withdrew from the French Open.
The 23-year-old tennis player opted out of the tournament in May in a bid to preserve her mental health and she’s now thanked those who offered her encouragement following her decision, including the former actress, who was known as Meghan Markle before her marriage to Prince Harry.
In an essay for TIME magazine, Naomi wrote: “I want to thank everyone who supported me. There are too many to name, but I want to start with my family and friends, who have been amazing.
“There is nothing more important than those relationships.
“I also want to thank those in the public eye who have supported, encouraged and offered such kind words. Michelle Obama, Michael Phelps, Steph Curry, Novak Djokovic, Meghan Markle, to name a few.
Michael Phelps told me that by speaking up I may have saved a life. If that’s true, then it was all worth it.”
Naomi previously appeared as a guest on Meghan – who is a keen tennis fan – and Harry’s first podcase for Archewell Audio on Spotify in December 2020.
Ahead of the French Open, Naomi announced she wouldn’t be doing interviews to preserve her mental wellbeing and she was subsequently hit with a $15,000 fine after failing to fulfill her media obligations after winning her first match.
She ultimately decided to pull out of the tournament as she “never wanted to be a distraction”.
She added: “I accept that my timing was not ideal and my message could have been clearer. More importantly, I would never trivialise mental health or use the term lightly.”
In her time essay, the sportswoman told how she felt a lot of “pressure” to be candid about her mental health issues when she withdrew.
She wrote: “In any other line of work, you would be forgiven for taking a personal day here and there, so long as it’s not habitual. You wouldn’t have to divulge your most personal symptoms to your employer; there would likely be HR measures protecting at least some level of privacy.
“In my case, I felt under a great amount of pressure to disclose my symptoms — frankly because the press and the tournament did not believe me.
“I do not wish that on anyone and hope that we can enact measures to protect athletes, especially the fragile ones.
“I also do not want to have to engage in a scrutiny of my personal medical history ever again. So I ask the press for some level of privacy and empathy next time we meet.”

Prince Charles slams “unacceptable” violent attacks against NHS staff.

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles has slammed “unacceptable” violent attacks against NHS staff.
The Prince of Wales visited Chelsea and Westminster hospital on Thursday (18.06.21) and was horrified by the stories he was told of abuse aimed at frontline staff and voluneers.
He exclaimed: “You can’t believe it, can you?”
He then went on to praise “wonderful” NHS workers and queried why anyone would want to attack people trying to “look after” them.
He said: “When I think of what it has been like for so long, and how many people have been lucky enough to have wonderful paramedics and ambulance staff coming to their rescue… but now you find the situation rising – violence, attacks, verbal attacks, racial abuse and everything else. To me, it’s unreal, unacceptable. Why attack the people who are trying to look after you?”
Charles was told how many of the staff and volunteers view being abused as a normal part of the job.
London Ambulance Service volunteer James Holt told him: “We get so used to the verbal abuse that we don’t ever report it.
“It’s only when you think about it, you realise how normalised it has become for us. It happens so regularly, we almost forget about it.”
Zaidia Hussain left the prince lost for words when she recalled having a knife pulled on her, while Shurelle Elevique admitted she’d been the victim of racist abuse.
Zaidia said afterwards: “You have to be so aware of what’s around you when you go into a house, which shouldn’t be your focus. It should be the patient.
“I have managed to get two convictions (against people). One man racially abused me and then tried to hit me. And the second was a lady that pulled a knife on us.”
Charles told the group their treatment was “inexcusable”.
He said: “What would we do without you?
“I was very interested to hear about the things that you have had to put up with. It’s inexcusable.
“We owe you a huge debt of gratitude.”
According to NHS figures, there were 529 reported incidents of violence and 834 reports of verbal abuse and threats on London Ambulance staff between April 2020 and January 2021. And in the same period there were a total of 3,569 ambulance staff assaulted in England, a 32 percent increase from five years ago

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge launches Centre for Early Childhood.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duchess of Cambridge has launched her own research centre.
Catherine has long been interested in the younger years and her new project, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood – which marks the end of her 10 years of research on the subject – has been announced in order to raise awareness of their importance and to help “transform lives”.
In a video to mark the official launch of the centre, Catherine – who wore a necklace featuring the initials of her children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte – explained the importance of “the first five years of life” and how she sees this as a “golden opportunity” to create a “happier, more mentally healthy” society.
She said: “Working closely with others, the centre hopes to raise awareness of why the first five years of life are just so important for our future life outcomes, and what we can do as a society to embrace this golden opportunity to create a happier, more mentally healthy, more nurturing society.
“By working together, my hope is that we can change the way we think about early childhood, and transform lives for generations to come.
“Because I truly believe big change starts small.”
The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood will be based on research showing the first five years of childhood fundamentally shape adulthood and that many of the challenges faced by adults such as addiction, violence, family breakdown and mental health stem from their earliest experiences.
The centre will focus on research and developing solutions with both the public and private voluntary sectors, as well as campaigning to raise awareness of issues.
Initially, the research facility will be based at Catherine and her husband Prince William’s Royal Foundation’s offices in London and will start with six employed members of staff.

Prince Harry’s nutritionist offers top tips for getting healthy in a fortnight

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry’s nutritionist issues her top tips for people to transform their health in a fortnight.
Gabriela Peacock is a renowned nutritionist to the stars who helped the likes of Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice get in shape for their weddings. And the £270 an hour former model has explained how mere mortals can get fit and healthy too.
Speaking to Femail, the 41 year old, who hails from the Czech Republic recommends “intermittent fasting” and two main diet plans, the 4:3 and the 16:8, which she’s written about in her book ‘2 Weeks to Feeling Great’.
She said: “I find intermittent fasting is by far the best because you don’t need to go to the shops and buy a special food or pay a lot of money or pay someone. What I love about it is just about when you’re eating and how you’re eating, and there are little tips around it. What I would say is, I would always recommend for the clients, look at my two plans, and just see which ones fits best for your lifestyle. They’re both equally great they’re both based on intermittent fasting, but one will work better for you than other. We also know intermittent fasting is a very, very healthy weight loss process.”
And she also believes blood sugar levels are what needs to be assessed before anything.
She said: “The first step I look at with every single of my clients is their blood sugar balance. You want to have a stable blood sugar levels throughout the day, and you don’t want to experience any spikes – which is a super rush – you don’t want to experience at the lows. Because when you’re low, is when you feel tired and you can be grumpy’. Fruit is fantastic if add some nuts and seeds with a small yoghurt, hummus and a piece on cheese. It will be much better for you because you’re combining the person and carbohydrate.”

Princess Diana kicked out of Bellville Sassoon and told to try Harrods instead

OHMYGOSSIP — One of the outfits Princess Diana wore on her wedding day nearly never happened- after a shop assistant failed to recognise her and told her to try Harrods instead.
The blue outfit which the late Princess of Wales wore in pictures for her engagement announcement to Prince Charles “almost didn’t happen”, because the the then 19 year old- princess-in-waiting was still in the shop when it was about to close so was advised to try Harrods up the road instead.
Curator Matthew Storey explained why Diana’s collaboration with Bellville Sassoon could so easily have fallen at the first hurdle.
According to Storey, it was almost closing time, and Diana wasn’t finding anything she liked. Not recognising that they’d just spoken to the young woman who was about to become the most famous in the country, the sales assistant then told her Harrod’s “is just around the corner.”
Storey said: “You can imagine how Belinda [Bellville] and David [Sassoon] felt when they realised the future Princess of Wales had been turned away.” But luckily for them Diana returned with her mother Frances Shand Kydd and picked out the blue outfit. The brand then went on to create a number of looks for Diana- who died in a car crash in 1997 at the age of 36- including her famous peach ensemble from an original sketch by Sassoon. The peach suit gained notoriety after she wore it on her honeymoon.
Meanwhile, it was revealed earlier today that the dress worn by the Princess of Wales on her wedding day has gone on display at her former Kensington Palace home.
Her sons Prince William and Prince Harry have loaned the dress to the ‘Royal Style in the Making’ exhibition, which opened today (03.06.21), less than a month before Diana would have turned 60 on July 1.
Described by exhibition organisers as being “among the most famous in bridal history”, the iconic gown was designed by husband and wife David and Elizabeth Emanuel for Diana’s wedding to the Prince of Wales, which took place 40 years ago, in July 1981.

Prince Charles is the second richest royal

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles is the second richest member of the royal family.
According to Forbes the royal family is worth $28 billion (£20 billion) and of that amount $500 (£352 million) is owned by his mother Queen Elizabeth in personal assets, which will pass down to the Prince of Wales when he becomes king. They state that Charles’ income comes primarily from his Duchy of Cornwall estate, which owns a significant amount of land and properties, and is said to be worth almost $1.3 billion £1 billon.
Despite its name, only 13 percent of the estate is actually in Cornwall however, with the rest spread out across 23 counties in England and Wales.
The Duchy of Cornwall website suggests the vast majority of its income used to support the public duties and charitable work of Charles, his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as his son Prince William and his wife the Duchess of Cambridge. The same used to apply to his other son Prince Harry and his wife the Duchess of Sussex, before they decided to step back as full-time members of the royal family and relocate to California.
The Duchy’s website states: “Since 1337, the revenues from the Duchy have either passed to an eldest surviving son and heir or where there has not been one, the Sovereign. These revenues can be spent as the Heir or Sovereign see fit.
“However the current Prince of Wales chooses to use a substantial proportion of his income from the Duchy estate to meet the cost of his public and charitable work as well as the public and private lives of his family, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and their children.”
Charles, 72, also receives funding from the Sovereign Grant, which meets the running expenses of the queen’s official household as well as covering the maintenance of the Royal Palaces in England.

Duke of Sussex discussed name plan with Queen Elizabeth

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke of Sussex did discuss his plans with Queen Elizabeth to call his daughter Lilibet.
Prince Harry reportedly had a conversation with the British monarch about naming his future daughter after her, following Harry and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex’s decision to call their baby, Lilibet Diana.
However, whilst Harry was keen to honour his late mother with the name choice, he didn’t want to call the baby Diana because he knew it would bring “attention” to his baby.
A source said: “Harry has never made a secret of his wish to have a family of his own, often talking about how it would be great to have a boy and a girl, that he could name after the two most important women in his life, the Queen and his mother. He had toyed with the idea of giving a future daughter his mother’s name, but was wary of the attention it would no doubt bring to the little girl. In the end, he mentioned Lilibet to Meghan, when discussing potential names for their children and she loved the idea. It’s a fitting tribute to the Queen and something many people will hope brings the family closer together.”
Harry has always been close to his grandmother and wanted to show the “bond” between them.
A royal source told the Daily Mirror newspaper about Harry’s close bond with his grandmother: “Harry has always enjoyed a wonderful bond with his grandmother, which makes it all the more bizarre that he has gone out of his way to threaten the relationship over the last couple of years. They have been incredibly close and as you would imagine have shared some very deep and personal conversations as Harry was growing up, which carried on really until very recently.”
