Kim Kardashian West didn’t want to move to Chicago

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West feared she would hit “breaking point” if she moved to Chicago.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardshians’ star – who has children North, five, Saint, three, and Chicago, 15 months, with husband Kanye West – felt torn when her husband announced he wanted to relocate their family to their home city but she ultimately persuaded him it would be too disruptive for their brood to make a permanent move.
She said: “I’m really happy that Chicago is such a good place for Kanye. It’s where he grew up, he has so many different memories there, there’s a lot that he wants to do there.
“But I definitely feel I’m being pulled in a million directions. The kids are in school and we have another baby on the way, so moving to Chicago would have to be a long conversation. And honestly, it might be my breaking point.”
Sitting down with her husband, the 38-year-old beauty – who is expecting her fourth child via surrogate – explained to the ‘Stronger’ hitmaker that she was happy to buy a second home in Illinois but she didn’t want to move there.
In scenes aired on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ on Sunday (07.04.19), she said: “I don’t want to uproot them from all of their friends and their routine and their cousins and everything.
“I just think that it would be amazing to have a second place in Chicago and if you need to spend more time out there that’s totally fine, but I think it would be really hard just to take the kids and leave and permanently move to Chicago.”
But the 41-year-old rapper admitted he felt more at “home” in Chicago and he found being there very inspiring, prompting Kim to offer up the suggestion of a long-distance relationship.
Kanye said: “When I went to Chicago, I felt like I was home.
“There were a lot of things that I missed not being there for a long, long, long time. I feel connected, I feel inspired when we’re there.”
His wife replied: “So what do you want to do? Do you want to live in Chicago and I’ll live here and we’ll FaceTime?
“I mean, I’m willing to split it, I’m just saying during the school year, it’s going to be really hard.”
Following their conversation, the ‘Bound 2’ rapper agreed to give up his dream of returning to Chicago for good.
He said: “We’re not going to move full-time. But we will spend time [there], because that’s my home, too.”

Stacey Solomon worried about family dynamic

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon is worried having another baby will “ruin” the relationship she has with her sons.
The ‘Loose Women’ star is expecting her first child with partner Joe Swash – who is dad to 11-year-old Harry from a past relationship – and though she often thinks getting pregnant is the “best thing” they have done together, she’s concerned about the impact it will have on Zachary, 10, and six-year-old Leighton.
She said: “I have days where I think getting pregnant is the best thing we’ve ever done and then I have moments where I think I’m ruining the lovely dynamic I have with my boys.”
But despite Stacey’s worries, her sons are “so excited” about having a younger sibling and are hoping for a little brother.
She told the new issue of OK! magazine: “We’re so excited – my sons want another boy. Another little worm-eating boy! They’re over the moon about the whole thing.”
The 29-year-old star is also finding pregnancy difficult.
She admitted: “I don’t love being pregnant but we are so, so happy and so looking forward to what’s to come.”
Stacey would love to have an “entire pack” of children but doesn’t think she could “go through” being pregnant again so if she and Joe do decide to add to their brood again in the future, they will be looking at alternative means.
She said: “I don’t know if I could go through pregnancy again. If I could I would have an entire pack of children, and I’d adopt and I’d love to foster, too. But right now we’re just happy and feel so, so privileged to be in this position.”

Miranda Kerr ‘very blessed’ to be expecting her third child

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr feels “very blessed” to be expecting another child.
The supermodel – who is pregnant with her third child, and her second with her husband Evan Spiegel – says she is feeling “quite nauseous” at the moment but she is “so happy” to be having a baby.
She said: “I’ve been quite nauseous but it’s all going well and I just feel very happy and very blessed … We’re not telling people how far along I am because my husband’s very private. I’m not!”
The brunette beauty has learned to become a “morning person” now she has Flynn, eight, who she shares with ex Orlando Bloom, and Hart, 11 months, with Evan.
She added: “So I’ve had to learn to become a morning person! I have that hour to myself before the kids wake up, and I make sure I get in the shower and do my Kora routine. After that I meditate. You have to compromise.”
Whatever name they choose for their new arrival, Miranda and Evan want it to be something that “resonates” with both of them like Hart does.
She told OK! magazine: “Evan’s grandfather was called Hart, so it’s a special family name, something that resonates with both of us.”
Miranda and Evan announced they are expecting their second child in a joint statement last month, which read: “Miranda, Evan, Flynn and Hart are looking forward to welcoming the newest member to their family.”
And following the arrival of Hart, Miranda has embraced her “mum-bod” and doesn’t mind that she might never get her old body back.
She said: “It’s really important as women that we’re gentle with ourselves and don’t feel like we have to snap back into shape after a baby…it’s OK, I’ve got a mum-bod and it’s fine! I don’t mind. It’s all part of it. I took nine months – well, 10 months – to grow a beautiful child and it might take 10 months to feel good in a swimsuit again. Or longer. Or never!”

Emmerdale’s Victoria Sugden ‘to be raped’ on horror night out

OHMYGOSSIP — Emmerdale’s Victoria Sugden is set to be raped during a horrific night out for several villagers.
The Dales favourite – played by Isabel Hodgins – is to be sexually assaulted during a dark evening out, which will also see teacher Maya Stepney’s (Louisa Clein) grooming of pupil Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) exposed.
A TV source said: “They’ve got a gritty storyline around a big night out where loads of the ladies go clubbing.
“Paedo Maya will finally be outed. But the bombshell is Victoria will get raped in a horror twist that will send her down a dark path.”
If that wasn’t enough, another villager will stabbed on the night of terror.
The source added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “The night also sees a stabbing. There will be blood and violence to grip the Dales as they go dark to compete with their soap rivals.”
‘Emmerdale’ producer Kate Brooks previously teased the horror night out, but insisted it will be told “in a different way” to how others may portray such scenes.
She said: “There’s a lot of drama involved  … because we’re ‘Emmerdale’, we’re telling it in a different way.”
Victoria’s love interest Ellis Chapman (Asan N’Jie) and Maya’s unsuspecting partner David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) – who is Jacob’s father – will also be on the night out.
Maya’s grooming of Jacob has been rumbling on for weeks, and Louisa recently admitted it has been “difficult” filming her kissing scenes with 16-year-old Joe-Warren.
She said: “It is difficult, but Joe-Warren Plant is a joy to work with and he’s so mature for his age. He’s been on the show for such a long time and has been working with adults since he was eight years old, so he’s very happy around adults. You wouldn’t necessarily pin him as 16 when you met him.
“Of course it’s awkward, but the scriptwriters are very sensitive to that, as are the directors and producers. We’re all very conscious of not making it (the scenes) sexually titillating. Any form of intimacy doesn’t need to be sexy. It’s about the implied emotional intimacy, which is the creepy bit in a way.
“It’s got to be that way. And Barnardo’s were very happy when we told them the way we were going to play the story through.”

Danny Dyer loves spiders

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer loves spiders.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor would never try to kill an arachnid if he found one lurking in his home because he gets too worried about what would happen to their families.
His daughter, Dani Dyer, wrote in her new book ‘What Would Dani Do’: “Dad is such a wuss he wouldn’t hurt a fly.
“Definitely not a spider, anyway. He’s convinced himself that spiders have family somewhere who would miss them if they died.
“‘What if someone squashes a male spider and his wife is sat in her web in the corner of the room wondering why he hasn’t come home for his supper?’.”
And the ‘EastEnders’ actor never gets upset when he finds a spider in his family home as he thinks of them as “roommates”.
Dani continued: “And he also sees spiders like his room-mates. If I clock a spider on the ceiling he will say to me, ‘There’s no point in killing your roommate, is there?’
“I just laugh at him when he’s like that. He’s such an absolute idiot sometimes.”
The ‘Love Island’ winner admitted she used to get spoilt by her dad – who also has Sunnie, 11, and Artie, five, with wife Joanne Mas – when she was younger because he wasn’t around much due to work commitments and his party lifestyle, so bought her gifts out of guilt.
And the 22-year-old star admitted she doesn’t think Danny really “understood the concept” of how to be a father.
She wrote: “He was away a lot with work. And he’ll be the first to admit this was the period in time when he was partying like mad and going off the rails.
“I don’t think he really understood the concept of being a dad. But it also meant he felt guilty so he would buy me everything.”

Harry Redknapp fears robots

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp thinks the modern world is “dangerous for pensioners”.
The 72-year-old football manager is convinced robots will soon be doing “everything”, which spells bad news for him because he already struggles to get to grips with “machines”.
He said: “Soon there will be robots doing everything. Cars will take off and fly.
“They will be doing everything. It’s crazy.
“Machines, argh I can’t stand them.
“I don’t use them.
“I think it’s quite dangerous for pensioners.”
Harry can be seen in new show ‘Hard To Please OAPS’ – which also features the likes of June Brown and Lionel Blair – struggling to use an Alexa smart speaker, operate a light bulb via a mobile phone and attempting to shop with a contactless payment card.
And the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner wasn’t the only star to be bamboozled by gadgets.
Former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Amanda Barrie insisted she can’t “see the point” in many digital devices.
She said: “I don’t see the point of having all these gadgets. I mean, what do they do?
“I’d be worried if my home was run by these things and there was a power cut.”
The 83-year-old actress also has no interest in driverless cars being introduced on the roads – because she thinks she’ll be “dead” by the time it happens.
She said: “A driverless car sounds sinister and dangerous.
“They’re not coming in for another five years. I will be dead by then.”
Meanwhile, ‘EastEnders’ legend June is worried she’ll be killed by a robot in her own home.
She said: “It’s horrible. Imagine having a robot in your sitting room. I don’t suppose it could develop a brain, but it might decide to put a knife in you! I wouldn’t trust it. I don’t know what’ll happen – maybe the end of the world.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen + Adam Lambert have announced ‘The Rhapsody Tour’ in Australia.
The rock legends and the ‘American Idol’ star – who first joined forces with Queen back in 2011, filling in for late vocalist Freddie Mercury – are following the success of their blockbuster musical biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ with a set of stadium shows Down Under in February 2020.

Jax Jones won’t do Glastonbury unless he’s on main stage

OHMYGOSSIP — Jax Jones won’t be playing Glastonbury unless he’s on the main stage.
The chart-topping tropical house DJ has revealed he has been offered the chance to play the world renowned festival in Somerset, England, but he has turned down the gig because he feels his huge production – which features impressive animated visuals, lasers, carnival dancers and giant pop-up drink bottles – wouldn’t be possible without being on the Pyramid Stage.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “I am waiting until I get offered the proper slot.
“Maybe not headlining the whole thing but on the big stage.”
The ‘All Day and Night’ producer – who recently launched his own “band” Europa with Martin Solveig – doesn’t think it will be long before DJs are given the headline slot at the music extravaganza, which this year sees Grime star Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure headline.
He said: “Look it is changing, especially with Stormzy headlining this year.
“I want to see DJs and producers up there, maybe it won’t be a British artist first.”
Meanwhile, speaking about forming Europa with French DJ Martin, Jax said it’s about bringing 90s club and rave music up to date.
He explained: “The idea behind Europa is a lot more electronic, trance, 90s club, raver stuff and combining that with our pop sensibilities.”
Whilst Jax isn’t playing Glastonbury this year, he has Radio 1’s Big Weekend Middlesbrough in May and he is going to pull out all the stops to impress the crowd.
Speaking about his return to BBC Radio 1’s event, he said: “Last year we were in the second tent but that’s still big.
“That is like 10,000 people and everyone came out.
“It felt like a moment. So this year we have the upgrade.”

Kendall Jenner has ‘several’ fashion regrets

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner’s “biggest fashion regret” is “wedge sneakers”.
The 23-year-old model has fallen victim to “several” fashion faux-pas when she was younger because she was more experimental with her wardrobe and “didn’t know what was happening”.
She told Vogue Australia: “Biggest fashion regret? I mean I have several from when I was younger and just did not know what was happening and what I was doing. [There’s] nothing that I can pinpoint but there are definitely a couple!
“I hate saying never but maybe wedge sneakers – I feel like I’m kind of over the wedge sneaker.”
The brunette beauty previously admitted that she tries to dedicate a lot of her time to “self-care” and puts her “mental and physical health” first because it is of the upmost importance.
She said: “Self-care is a huge thing for me. I’ve really dedicated a lot of time to it in the last two years. A couple of years ago, I was working a lot — probably more than I should have, to be honest. It was really starting to mess with my mental and my physical health, and I came to the point where I was like, what am I supposed to do?
“I kept hearing about meditating and was skeptical about it, but decided [to] just do it. So I sat down for four days with a teacher and learned TM (Transcendental Meditation) and really dove into it, and I started to see such a difference in my mental health.”
And the brunette beauty explained that she has “fallen victim” to social media and compared herself to other “beautiful women” online.
She added: “I think that [self-care] ties into our day and age and social media. We can’t say that we all haven’t fallen victim to seeing other beautiful women online and seeing this perfect picture that everyone creates, because you do create it, by the way.”

Keith Urban thanks ‘baby girl’ Nicole Kidman for ACM win

OHMYGOSSIP — Keith Urban thanked his “baby girl” Nicole Kidman and their two daughters as he collected the Entertainer of the Year Award at the American Country Music (ACM) Awards on Sunday (07.04.19).
The 51-year-old star – who has Sunday, 10, and Faith, eight, with his ‘Aquaman’ actress wife – put an end to Jason Aldean’s winning streak, after he had picked up the prestigious honour three times consecutively at the ceremony for the past three years, whilst Keith also beat Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton to the title.
The ‘Parallel Line’ hitmaker, who was joined by Nicole in the audience, used his acceptance speech at the glitzy bash at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to gush about his wife and their girls and thank his adorning fans.
He said: “Thank you so much. Baby Girl, I love you so much.
“My team, thank you every one of you. To the fans out there, you are amazing. You have no idea what you mean to me. No idea.
“Baby Girl, I love you and our girls, Sunday and Faith, who are at home watching right now.
“My whole team … I love you guys … Country radio, I love you so much. Thank you so much. God bless every one of you.”
Keith had been nominated for the award nine times before his victory last night.

“My wife ( Brittany Kerr), I love you. My family, my mom and dad are here. More than anything, thank you country music fans, country music radio. You’ve changed my life.”

The 30-year-old star – who was nominated alongside Miranda, Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood – gave a short, but empowering, speech about staying true to her musical “style”, even if other people don’t think it will “work”.
She said: “I have to say that this award goes out to any woman, any girl or anybody, really, that is maybe being told that her perspective or her style is too different to work. It’ll work out.”

Luke Perry’s daughter Sophie wants to make dad ‘proud’ as she returns to work

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Perry’s daughter Sophie is determined to make her dad proud with her work.
The ‘Riverdale’ star’s 18-year-old daughter has been volunteering in Malawi but returned to the US after the actor suffered a stroke and following her father’s passing last month, she’s now returned to Africa because his tragic death has made her want to appreciate every moment of her life.
On Instagram she wrote: “First few days back in Malawi have been very emotional but it feels right to come back. To finish what I started, to do the most with whatever time we have left!
“I recently learned that may not be as much time as we think. It was quick and scary to leave home again so soon, but there’s a job to be done, and someone to make proud. (sic)”
Luke was survived by Sophie, his son Jack, 21, their mother – and his ex-wife – Rachel ‘Minnie’ Sharp, and his fiancee Wendy Madison Bauer.
Last month, Sophie opened up about the ‘Beverly Hills 90210’ star revealing she was missing him “a little extra” two weeks after his death.
She simply wrote: “Miss him a little extra today.”
The teenager also previously heaped praise on her mother for being a “rock” during such a difficult time.
Posting on International Women’s Day (03.08.19), she wrote: “You all know my dad is a super star, but I just want to share for a moment that I got really f***ing lucky in the parental department because this is my mom.
“Minnie. Who also happens to be my best friend. Wow, how cliché, I know. And she is the rock for everybody grieving in this family right now. “She’s the toughest and sweetest and most amazing woman I or anyone else has ever met. How did I get so lucky to have two icons for parents?”

Kelvin Fletcher jokes he should stay away from Emmerdale

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelvin Fletcher thinks he should stay away from ‘Emmerdale’ because the soap has gone “from strength to strength” since he left.
The 35-year-old actor portrayed Andy Sugden for 20 years on the ITV soap until he departed the Dales in 2016, but he joked it wouldn’t be a good idea for him to reprise his role because the show has landed several accolades – including this year’s Serial Drama prize at the National Television Awards – and says the programme’s praise is “richly deserved”.
He said: “It’ll be three years since I’ve left coming up this year. It’s a terrific show and coincidentally it has started winning awards since I left.
“So maybe it’s a good thing that I don’t go back?
“Since I’ve been gone it’s going from strength to strength.
“It’s a fantastic show and richly deserves the awards they’re receiving now.
“For me, I’ve very much moved on and I want to pursue other things.
“If I did want to go back in the future, who knows?”
Kelvin played farmer Andy on the soap, but admitted he is now “better equipped” to play the part again after presenting ‘Springtime on the Farm’.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “I’m certainly better equipped.
“It’s overwhelming, emotional as well, to witness the significance of a birth, whether it be an animal, a sheep or a cow or whatever it is.
“I’ve likened it before to the birth of my own children.”
In December, Kelvin admitted he doesn’t watch ‘Emmerdale’ anymore because he wanted to “put some distance between” himself and the soap.
He said: “I don’t watch as it clashes with my daughter’s bedtime and I needed to put some distance between me and the show but it doesn’t matter because everywhere I go, the public keep me up to speed.
“They ask why I haven’t visited Sarah (Andy’s daughter) or if I even know she’s ill. They’re very passionate both in person and on social media.”

Nicholas Lyndhurst can’t watch Only Fools following cast deaths

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicholas Lyndhurst can’t bear to watch ‘Only Fools and Horses’ anymore because so many of the cast have died.
The 57-year-old star – who played Rodney Trotter on the sitcom – says there was such a great “family” atmosphere on the show that he finds it tough to tune in to episodes after a number of the stars passed away, including Roger Lloyd-Pack (Trigger), Ken MacDonald (Mike) and Buster Merryfield (Uncle Albert).
He said: “I can’t watch it now. I don’t want to see friends who are no longer with us on screen.
“We used to go and surprise them on their birthdays. We used to wind them up. We used to tease each other. It was a family. So yeah, it’s sad.
“I remember Lennard Pearce, who played Grandad – bless his heart – saying to me, ‘Have you heard about these new VHS video recorder machines? That means we’ll now live forever. Did you ever think of that?’ I said, ‘Christ no, I hadn’t.’ ”
And Nicholas admits it would be “impossible” to make another episode of the classic sitcom because the show’s creator and writer John Sullivan, who penned every episode, has also passed away.
He said: “We can’t do it. It’s impossible without John. And not just that: we’ve lost Roger, Ken, Buster, Lennard, and Roy [Heather, cafe owner Sid].
“That’s a big chunk of the cast, sadly, not with us anymore. Of course, we can’t do it without them. Wouldn’t dream of it.”
While Nicholas is a household name in the UK mainly thanks to his stint as hapless Rodney opposite Sir David Jason – who played his older brother Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter – he is now starring in musical ‘Man Of La Mancha’ opposite Kelsey Grammer and cannot believe he is acting with the ‘Frasier’ star.
He added to Event magazine: “I pinch myself every morning because I am going to work with Kelsey Grammer. It’s outstanding.
“I’ve admired him for decades. I’ve seen everything he’s done.”
Despite starring in one of Britain’s best-ever sitcoms, Nicholas recently admitted he struggled to write his own sitcom.
He said: “I have tried writing, but it was the hardest thing I have ever tried to do. It was just me and a friend throwing some ideas around but it did not work.”

Dave Bautista joins Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Bautista is to star in Zack Snyder’s ‘Army of the Dead’ for Netflix.
The 50-year-old wrestler-turned-actor will join the 52-year-old filmmaker – who recently helmed DC Extended Universe films ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Justice League’ – who has signed on to direct the zombie movie for the streaming service, according to Deadline.
The plot will follow a young woman headed into a dangerous and quarantined Las Vegas where a zombie outbreak has happened in order to find what is causing the undead to rise up.
When she becomes trapped her father assembles a group of mercenaries to help rescue her, with the group “tempted by the chance to rob the casinos while they’re there”.
Zack will also produce the project with his wife Deborah Snyder and looking forward to the challenge, the director previously said: “There are no handcuffs on me at all with this one.”
The movie is based on a script by Joby Harold, who previously penned the script for ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’.
Netflix is renowned for giving filmmakers complete creative control, and Zack is excited to be working with the streaming service.
He previously shared: “I love to honour canon and the works of art, but this is the opportunity to find a purely joyful way to express myself though a genre.”
Zack is keen to take some risks with the upcoming project, promising fans that ‘Army of the Dead’ will be a “kick-ass, self-aware” film.
He said: “It will be the most kick-ass, self-aware – but not in a wink-to-the-camera way – balls-to-the-wall zombie freak show that anyone has ever seen. No one’s ever let me completely loose [like this].”
The movie is scheduled to begin shooting this summer and will have a budget that could hit the $90 million mark.

Robert Pattinson had to read script for Christopher Nolan’s film in secrecy

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Pattinson was “locked in a room” to read the script for Christopher Nolan’s new movie before handing it back.
The 32-year-old actor explained that he’s “sworn to secrecy” regarding Nolan’s upcoming project – which has been described as a “massive, innovative, action blockbuster” – and says that despite being “wary of big movies” he was keen to work with the filmmaker as he’s able to make ” very personal, independent” films on a “huge scale”.
However, secrecy is so tight around the plot that Pattinson was not given a script to keep.
In an interview with newspaper USA Today, he said: “I got locked in a room to read the script – I don’t have it myself, I’ve been a little wary of doing big movies for years and years, but there’s just something about Chris Nolan’s stuff. He seems like the only director now who can do what is essentially a very personal, independent movie that has huge scale. I read the script and it’s unreal.”
The motion picture has been slated for July 17, 2020, but Warner Bros. are yet to confirm specific details about casting and plot details.
Elizabeth Debicki and Pattinson are expected to star alongside John David Washington, with Nolan due to produce alongside Emma Thomas.
Production on the hotly-anticipated movie is expected to begin later this year.
A July 17th release date could be a good omen for Nolan after he got box office success with war movie ‘Dunkirk’, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Director and raked in $526 million worldwide.
Washington rose to fame in Spike Lee’s biographical drama ‘BlacKkKlansman’, in which he starred as Ron Stallworth, who was the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The ‘Speechless’ duo – comprised of vocalists and songwriters Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney – were nominated for six prizes at the star-studded ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and went home with the most gongs of the night, with the pair picking up Best Vocal Duo, Best Song and Best Single Record for ‘Tequila’ from their acclaimed third self-titled studio album.
Dan admitted it was a “dream come true” to accept the award for the song.
During their acceptance speech, he said: “Thank you to country radio for playing this song
“Everybody in country music, thank you so much for accepting us into this family.
This is a dream come true for us. We love you. Cheers!”
They also got to perform their Kelly Clarkson duet ‘Keeping Score’ and Dan admitted that it was a surreal experience even getting free tickets to watch the ceremony, which also saw performances from the likes of Carrie Underwood, Chrissy Metz, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Chris Stapleton.
Speaking on the red carpet, he said: “To get to get up there on stage to perform is a dream come true for us.
“Honestly, we’re still just fans. We got free tickets to the show tonight; that’s a dream come true right there. That’s pretty cool.”
Elsewhere, Keith was crowned Entertainer of the Year for the first time, having been nominated for the award nine times before his victory last night.
He put an end to Jason’s winning streak, after he had picked up the prestigious honour three times consecutively at the ceremony for the past three years, whilst Keith also beat Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton to the title.
Jason didn’t go home empty handed though, as he received the Dick Clark Artist of the Decade prize, the highest possible honour, with only six artists having picked up the award.
The ‘Lights On’ hitmaker – who was joined on stage by Kelly Clarkson for a rendition of their 2010 duet ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay’ – admitted he is “very fortunate” as he thanked his loved ones and fans.
He said: “I feel very fortunate to have this.
“My wife ( Brittany Kerr), I love you. My family, my mom and dad are here. More than anything, thank you country music fans, country music radio. You’ve changed my life.”
Kacey Musgraves was named Female Artist of the Year and also won Album of the Year for the acclaimed ‘Golden Hour’.
The ‘Space Cowboy’ singer also put an end to Miranda Lambert’s Female Artist of the Year streak, which saw her win the accolade every year since 2010.
