Jada Pinkett Smith: Don’t date someone going through a divorce!

OHMYGOSSIP — Jada Pinkett Smith hopes her children won’t date somebody who is going through a divorce – like she did with their father Will Smith.
The 47-year-old actress began dating Will over two decades ago, when he was going through a divorce with his first wife Sheree Zampino in 1995, and although she doesn’t want to give her children – 17-year-old Willow and 20-year-old Jaden – too many rules on who they should date, she’s advised they don’t follow in her footsteps.
Jada said: “They have to find their way in regards to that, because I’m gonna tell you, you gotta be real careful with that because if anybody was in their right mind, they would’ve told me not to date Will when I did. He was in the middle of a divorce! Fresh! I would not suggest anybody do that.”
But the ‘Girl’s Trip’ star then noted that if her brood think someone is right for them, they should go for it no matter what.
She added to E! News: “But you don’t know what your fate is. Looking back, that was not a smart move. But it worked out how it was supposed to.”
Jada and Sheree discussed the breakdown of Will’s first marriage during the premiere of Jada’s Facebook Watch show ‘Red Table Talk’ in May this year.
The actress said at the time: “Because I did not understand marriage, I didn’t understand divorce. I will say that I probably should have fell back.”
And Sheree said: “Ya think? Oh, you thought it was done?”
Jada then added: “See, that’s where I was wrong. Now, being a married woman and if Will and I were to get divorced now, my God. So when I think back about where I was, some of my insensitivity, some of my inconsideration just in regards to you guys unwinding a marriage.”

Kylie Jenner left ‘insecure’ by post-pregnancy body

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner was left feeling “a little insecure” about her body after she gave birth to her daughter Stormi.
The 21-year-old reality star welcomed her daughter – whom she has with boyfriend Travis Scott – into the world in February, and has said she struggled with “body shamers” following her tot’s birth, as her hips had spread and caused her to become self conscious about the way she looked.
Speaking in a preview clip for Sunday’s (28.10.18) episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, Kylie told her sister Kim Kardashian West: “Nothing in my closet fits me. I’m getting rid of stuff that I just feel like is never going to fit me. I know I’m not going to fit into a [size] 25 jean ever again.
“Honestly, you do inspire me a lot. If Kim can do it, I can do it.
“I’m just feeling a little insecure. I feel like my hips have just spread. My favourite jeans, they’re never going to fit me again. I feel like some people don’t get it. Some people are just body shamers.”
Kim – who has North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, nine months, with her husband Kanye West – was understanding of her younger sister’s struggle, and told her the best thing to do is to “roll with it”, and “find her balance”.
The 38-year-old beauty – who had her youngest child Chicago via surrogate mother after complications with her previous pregnancies – said: “I will tell you this – just wear two pairs of shape-wear and get out of the house. I know it’s really early and Stormi is so little, but you just have to roll with it. You just have to be confident, get some things that make you feel good about yourself and find your balance.”
Meanwhile, despite her lack of confidence, Kylie is said to be looking to go through the pregnancy process once again, as she wants to give Stormi a sibling as soon as possible.
A source said recently: “Kylie can’t wait for Stormi to have siblings… She wants a big family… She wants lots of babies and for them to be close in age.
“She is so excited and can’t wait for that to happen and to make Stormi a big sister.”

Jane Fonda thinks 9 to 5 changed how working women were treated

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Fonda thinks her movie ‘9 to 5’ made a “big difference” to how women office workers were viewed.
The 80-year-old actress starred in 1980s movie alongside Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton – who wrote the smash hit song of the same name which was featured in the film – and has said the comedy, was instrumental in changing the way women were treated in office jobs.
Speaking as the movie – which followed three female secretaries, who decide to get revenge on their tyrannical, sexist boss by abducting him and running the business themselves – received a re-release at the BFI on Tuesday (23.10.18) night, Jane said: “It made a big difference to women office workers. And the song became an anthem.”
Jane also touched on how she was seen as a “terrible thing” to men in the industry, because she is a strong woman who isn’t afraid to voice her political opinions.
According to the Evening Standard newspaper, the ‘Grace and Frankie’ star spoke about her early career success and conquering fear as she introduced the re-release of ‘9 to 5’, adding: “[I was] that terrible thing … a successful woman with political opinions.”
Jane’s comments come after she talked openly about abuse in the film industry at an event in Paris last week, and how she believes change will be “slow” whilst men are still in charge.
She said: “[Change is] going to be slow because the men still hold the power, they are the ones that manage the big studios. We need women managing the studios, they have to be in positions of power.
“But now, when the fate of the world is very unstable, it has to be women who tell the story because we see things in a different way and if we’re going to solve the problems, it’s going to have to be women for many, many, many, many reasons … but everywhere in the world – there are a lot of efforts like this for women to take their own positions in cinema.
“I think it will come.”

The ‘Suicide Squad’ star – who works with the UN’s Girl Up campaign – said: “I think what she has done with the UN, women’s education and women’s rights is incredible.”
Cara – who is reportedly romancing ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actress Ashley Benson – also took the time to describe her perfect date, which would take place in her native London.
Speaking in the upcoming edition of ES Magazine, she said: “I’d start in Soho and wander the streets. It’s the best place for an adventure. We’d end up in Ronnie Scott’s for some jazz, after having something to eat a Park Chinois.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Paper Towns’ actress recently teamed up with Rita Ora, through their roles as ambassadors for Rimmel London, to support charity The Cybersmile Foundation, who aim to bring an end to cyberbullying.
Rimmel plans to create an online space where victims of cyberbullying can receive support and share their experiences and Cara believes that this campaign will help victims of cyberbullying to feel comfortable to post what they want.
She said: “The comments are the things that should be deleted, not the posts. No one should have to change who they are because of someone making a comment.
“The people who make the comments are the ones who have to change.”

On top of improving the education of underprivileged school children, Diddy also wants to help inspire youngsters to take control of their own futures.

Elizabeth Hurley takes cell phone detoxes

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Hurley takes regular cell phone detoxes.
The 53-year-old actress says that spending time away from her phone can be “difficult”, but insists she “feels good” about not being attached to the device, as she says she doesn’t feel the need to answer her emails “within seconds”.
She said: “It’s difficult, but I don’t worry about it. I mean, yes, emails are crashing in. But, I’m feeling good about not answering people within seconds. Business was pretty good before we did that, so I think it’s just about understanding that we don’t need an instant answer from someone.”
It isn’t just technology detoxes the ‘Austin Powers’ actress uses to clear her mind either, as she admitted she loves to take a “long hot soak” in her bath tub “almost every day” as a way of taking care of herself.
She added to People magazine: “So often, we women put our needs at the bottom of the list. But it’s really important for us to understand that if we’re going to be caretakers, we have to take care of ourselves.
“Almost every day I have a long, hot soak. That’s my time. My mother did the same. She used to call it her think tank.”
The ‘Bedazzled’ star – who has 16-year-old son Damian – recently said she’d cut coffee out of her diet in an attempt to live a more healthy lifestyle.
She said: “When you’re younger, it’s all about beauty. As you get older, it’s all about your health. I’ve been trying to exercise more and eat healthier. I’ve even given up coffee.”
The model-and-actress has dished out her beauty secrets in the past, and last year she insisted a “positive” mindset was an important part of looking and feeling young.
She advised: “You have to try to stay positive. We all get terrible knocks in life, all of us.
“Some people have terrible things they have to deal with. You see some people and they just manage to keep their attitude positive. They rise above stuff. Some people get angry.
“Sometimes I think to glow, you have to let go of a lot of stuff and move on. Be as nice as you can to everyone.”

He captioned the snap: “The world just got 8lbs heavier. Thank you to everyone who fought for and protected our privacy during this incredible and beautiful time in our lives. Everyone is happy and healthy and loving every moment of this. I could not be more excited to bring a baby girl into this world at this moment. We will raise her to be powerful, to always speak her mind and heart and to live without fear. It’s a brand new day and a brave new world and they are both beautiful.”
‘Pretty Little Liars’ actress Troian, 32, posted the same picture on her own Instagram account, and said she was determined to raise her baby girl to be “kind and strong”.
She added: “I cannot express how grateful I am. To the people who have protected us and kept our growing family safe and respected our privacy. To our tribe for expanding with grace and exponential amounts of love. To my @halfadams for being so supportive during every moment of my pregnancy and her birth. To bring a new girl into this world and to do my best to raise her to be kind, strong and whatever the heck she wants to be.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emilia Clarke has sparked speculation she is dating Charlie McDowell.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ actress shared a photo on Instagram on her 32nd birthday on Tuesday (23.10.18) of two shadows on the sand, with one figure kissing the other on the cheek, and the 35-year-old filmmaker later posted the same picture.
Emilia captioned her post: “Well that was a birthday I won’t be forgetting in a while [heart emoji] (sic)”
And Charlie – who is the son of ‘A Clockwork Orange’ star Malcolm McDowell and actress Mary Steenburgen and the stepson of Ted Danson – also used a heart emoji in his caption.
He added to the post: “Happy birthday, E (sic)”
Meanwhile, Emilia – who plays Daenerys Targaryen in ‘Game of Thrones’ recently admitted she had an “existential crisis” when she wrapped filming as the Mother of Dragons on the eighth and final season of the HBO fantasy drama series recently.
In a joint interview with co-stars Nathalie Emmanuel and Jacob Anderson last month, she said: “It’s bittersweet, we’ve all done a lot of crying. There’s been a lot of crying on set.”
To which Nathalie added: “The week after we finished was a really weird week. I just felt kind of disjointed and a bit, like, ‘Ohhh.’ What does my life mean without ‘Game of Thrones’?”
Emilia then said she felt a “genuine” crisis set in when she realised she wouldn’t be heading to the set of the fantasy show ever again.
She said: “Genuine! Existential crisis, like, legit, where you’re like, ‘What?'”
The British actress visited the set of ‘Game of Thrones’ for one final time back in June, when she took to Instagram to share a picture of herself laid down against some flowers and bid her farewell to the iconic show.
She wrote at the time: “Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade.
“It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #lastseasonitis (sic)”

Michael Caine takes wife everywhere to avoid temptation

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Michael Caine takes his wife with him “everywhere” – so he isn’t tempted by “beautiful actresses”.
The 85-year-old actor’s significant other Shakira – who he has been married to since 1973 – accompanies him around the world to avoid the couple effectively leading “separate lives” by being apart.
Michael – who has daughter Natasha, 45, with the 71-year-old actress – is quoted by MailOnline as saying: “For a start, the obvious thing on location is you’re going on location, you’re married, with a load of beautiful actresses. You know what’s going to happen.
“When you go away for a long time … you visit places the other one’s never seen, you eat in restaurants the other one’s never been, you meet people the other one’s never met.
“Both of you have started a separate life and it’s very important you don’t do that I think. So my wife goes with me everywhere.”
Michael – who also has daughter, Dominique, 62, with his late first wife Patricia Haines, who died in 1977 aged 45 – previously admitted he was “so happy” with life he didn’t know anyone who enjoyed their time on Earth as much as him.
He said: “I can’t think of anyone who has a better life than me. I am so happy.
“People say to me, ‘Do you believe in God?’ And I say, ‘If you had my life, you’d have to believe in God.’ ”
The ‘Italian Job’ star also made life easier for himself by changing his name by deed poll from his birth name of Maurice Micklewhite to the one he is more commonly known as, so he can jet around the world without any issues.
He said of the change: “Otherwise you’re liable to end up in the nick for three hours. So my passport is the same name as me.
“My name really is Michael Caine. I hope my dad forgives me!”

Kendall Jenner ‘convinced’ Kris Jenner has haunted house

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner is “convinced” her mum Kris Jenner’s house is haunted.
The 22-year-old model is a big believer in the supernatural after witnessing her 21-year-old sister Kylie Jenner’s shower turning on in their mother’s home when nobody else was in the house, and the siblings used to hear footsteps on her roof.
She said: “I do believe in ghosts. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one but I’ve experienced some pretty ghost-y situations.
“In the house my mom lives in Kylie and I would always hear footsteps on the roof while no one was home.
“Kylie’s shower used to turn on all the time and we never knew why, she said, so yeah I’m convinced it was a ghost.”
During their younger years, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ stars would use a Ouija board – a board marked with letters of the alphabet around the edge, on which words are spelled out via a moveable pointer to answer questions from the dead during a seance – with their two pals, but they would all be so scared by the answers they had to sleep in the same bed afterwards.
She said: “The scariest thing we used to do was play Ouija board. It was me, Kylie and our two other friends.
“We would always go to their house because my mum wouldn’t let us have a Ouija board in our house. We would ask it like little kid questions like, ‘What’s my aunt’s middle name?’ And it would give it. We were really scared.
“It would ruin our night. We’d all have to sleep in the same bed with their mom.
“Now I know for sure they were pushing on it.”
Kendall’s pal Gigi Hadid is also a believer in spirits after recalling she and sister Bella Hadid “convinced” themselves there was an old woman living in her closet, so much so they used to “talk to” her and bring her tea.
Speaking in a joint video on Vogue magazine’s YouTube channel, she said: “I’ve had a lot of unexplainable experiences with the supernatural.
“There was one time when we were kids we lived in this really old house and I was given the attic as my room.
“We used to hear these weird sounds in the closet and we asked my dad and he said this old lady used to live in the house.
“So we convinced herself, we talked to her, and we’d be like, ‘Girl, we’ll bring you some tea.’ ”

Jordan Banjo axed from Dancing On Ice

OHMYGOSSIP — Jordan Banjo has been axed from ‘Dancing On Ice’.
The Diversity dancer hosted backstage segments on the celebrity skating contest when the show returned to ITV this year and while he was a hit with viewers, shake-ups to the new series of the programme means he won’t be involved any more as the behind-the-scenes areas won’t be seen on screen.
A source told The Sun Online: “Jordan was brilliant, but there have been changes to his schedule that mean he’s unavailable to film next year, so he’ll be axed from the format.”
And there are other changes in store for the programme, with “at least three or four” professional skaters departing and being replaced with new stars.
The insider added: “There will be a lot of new faces on the ice, too. Ale Izquierdo, who skated with Max Evans in this year’s show, won’t return, neither will Melody Le Moal, who was partnered with Lemar.
“Show bosses are bringing in new professionals to shake things up.”
That’s not all as Olympic champions Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will delight fans by skating on the ice once again.
The source said: “Everyone who watches the show wants to see them skate their famous Bolero and demand was huge for them to do it again.”
The duo will also return to the judging panel, alongside Jordan’s brother, Ashley Banjo and tough-talking Jason Gardiner, while Karen Barber is returning as head coach.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will also return to present the show.
The full celebrity line-up for the new series has already been announced and includes former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional James Jordan, ‘TOWIE’ star Gemma Collins, ex-‘Neighbours’ actor Mark Little, singer Brian McFadden, ‘Love Island’s Wes Nelson, ‘X Factor’ finalist Saara Alto, ‘Loose Women’ panellist Saira Khan, ‘Grease!’ legend Didi Conn, actor-and-rapper Richard Blackwood, cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, ‘Coronation Street’s Jane Danson and Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton.

Danny John-Jules’ Strictly Come Dancing collapse

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny John-Jules collapsed during intense ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ training.
The ‘Red Dwarf’ actor fainted last Friday (19.10.18) while rehearsing the jive with his professional dancing partner Amy Dowden ahead of last weekend’s performance, but they went on to score 37 out of 40 for their jive.
The 58-year-old star said: “It’s cardio, fitness. I haven’t moved like that since a long time. You worry about slowing down and if you slow down it’s a bit of a no-no.
“I did collapse after the second run, the tech run on Friday.
“The floor manager looked down at me looking up at the ceiling and asked me, ‘Do you want to do another one?’ ”
But Danny’s effort clearly paid off because their jive saw the pair score the first 10 of the series as they topped the leaderboard.
The ‘Death in Paradise’ star took a whole day to process the judges’ reaction to their dance.
He said: “It was all a blur. When I finished, I looked at Amy and only then I realised it had been good.
“I was still in a daze when I got to the judges and it didn’t sink in until a day later when all the messages started coming in from social media.”
Amy praised her partner ahead of their American Smooth this weekend, admitting he has “done really well” with the steps and lifts.
Speaking on spin-off show, ‘Strictly: It Takes Two’, she said: “We’re still working on the lifts but Danny has done really, really well. He hasn’t dropped me yet.
“At the end, Danny won’t be leaving the dancefloor in a normal way.”
Danny and Amy received a standing ovation for their performance over the weekend, and judge Darcey Bussell described their routine as “extraordinary”.
She said: “I have to get up and applaud you, that was extraordinary. The precision of your feet. The stretch of your foot on those kicks and flicks.”

Richard E Grant’s Star Wars shock

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard E. Grant still “can’t believe” he’s been cast in a ‘Star Wars’ movie.
The 61-year-old actor has been a fan of the franchise since the first movie was released in 1977 and he admitted he thought it was “in the realm of impossibility” that he’d ever be a part of the space saga until he was offered a secret role in the upcoming ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “The first one blew my head off. So that four decades later I would be actually in one seems as unlikely as it was to say that I wanted to be an actor in 1969, when I was 12 years old when they landed on the moon… I can’t really believe that it’s happening.”
But before fans can see him in the final installment of the series, Richard is starring alongside Melissa McCarthy in ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’ and he instantly hit it off with his co-star.
He quipped: “As you can imagine, she and I hated each other on sight.”
He then added: “I absolutely loved and adored her instantaneously and we really got on.”
And the pair grew so close, they had lunch together every day during the four-week shoot.
Richard said: “That was a testament to how well we connected. That inevitably, in retrospect, informed how we riffed off each other, playing these parts.”
The movie, which is directed by Marielle Heller, sees Melissa portray author Lee Israel, who began forging letters by famous actors and writers when her career stalled, while Richard plays her close friend, Jack Hock.
And the British actor is surprised the well-reviewed movie has attracted so much positive attention.
He said: “On paper, you’ve got an incredibly unlikable, socially inept, porcupine of a woman who is a homely, Jewish lesbian and she forms a friendship with an HIV-positive kleptomaniac. You go, ‘Does that really sound like the movie that you want to go and invest your time and your care and your compassion in?’ ”

Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese to reunite for new film

OHMYGOSSIP — Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese will reunite on ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’.
The 43-year-old actor and the legendary director will work on their sixth film together when they re-team for the upcoming motion picture, which is based on the best-selling book by David Grann, and the filmmaker is “so excited” about working with the ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ star again.
He said in a statement: “When I read David Grann’s book, I immediately started seeing it – the people, the settings, the action – and I knew that I had to make it into a movie.
“I’m so excited to be working with Eric Roth and reuniting with Leo DiCaprio to bring this truly unsettling American story to the screen.”
Roth will pen the movie’s script, and Scorsese will direct as well as produce alongside Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas, and Emma Tillinger Koskoff.
The Oscar-winning pair are said to have been loosely attached to the project since 2016, when Imperative Entertainment acquired the rights to the book.
The tome is set in 1920s Oklahoma and tells the story of the American Indian tribe Osage Nation, who became the richest people per capita in the world when oil was found on their land, which led to them being killed off one by one. The FBI began investigating the huge death toll.
Production on the motion picture is expected to start in the summer of 2019, with film bosses set to start scouting locations soon.
DiCaprio and Scorsese last teamed up on 2013’s ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, which saw the actor take on the role of stockbroker Jordan Belfort.
The pair have also worked together on 2002’s ‘Gangs of New York’, ‘The Aviator’ in 2004, and 2015’s ‘The Audition’.

Lady Antebellum sign up for Las Vegas residency

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Antebellum have signed up for a Las Vegas residency.
The country music trio – made up of Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley – are to play 15 dates at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater between February and August next year, and they are “over-the-moon excited”.
Hillary told CNN: “We are over-the-moon excited. It’s definitely one of the moments in our career that the three of us are looking at each other, kind of pinching each other.
“I live for those moments to really connect on the deepest level possible with our fans, and so that theater environment really presents that opportunity.”
Hillary’s parents played in Reba McEntire’s band for seven years, and the music legend has her own residency with Brooks and Dunn at Caesars Palace, just a few miles from Palms.
The Lady Antebellum singer said: “I have a lot of memories of sitting in front of house on a road case watching that show.
“If I could go back in time and tell little me that this would be my reality, it’s hard to process in the best way.”
The ‘Need You Now’ hitmakers will become the first country music act to headline the venue – where the likes of Billy Idol and Blink-182 have performed – and Palms vice-president Jon Gray admitted the band’s “crossover appeal” make them the type of group people will “travel from around the world to see”.
He added: “We have recently had some of the biggest country acts play the room – from Zac Brown Band to Chris Stapleton – and this genre consistently does extremely well at the Pearl.”

Cardi B too busy for surprise songs

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B has been too busy to release a “bonus” track.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker – who has three-month-old daughter Culture with husband Offset – wanted to treat fans to an album outtake but they may now have to wait some time for previously-unheard material from her because her schedule is so packed.
Speaking to Ebro Darden on his Beats 1 show, she said: “The plan was always to drop a, like, bonus. But I just didn’t [think] I was going to be so busy doing back-and-forth, back-and-forth things after I gave birth. It’s like, oh my God, like, my schedule is so flooded. Maybe in December or just maybe January. I don’t know. It’s just songs that I felt were really good songs that didn’t make the album.”
The 26-year-old rapper also dismissed rumours she’s penned a diss track about her rival Nicki Minaj, insisting she’d rather air their differences in person.
She said: “The way that I came up, it was never about dissing nobody, and I still feel like I don’t need to diss anybody for nothing. My music was never about that.
“I have a short temper, so that’s like doing things that I don’t stand for. I don’t like when people be subbing me. So why would I subbing you on music?
“And any problem that I have, I always address people face-to-face. I don’t care. It’s whatever the energy’s like. I don’t care.”
Cardi’s track ‘Money’ was recently leaked online and she thinks it’s the people who “hate” her who try and get the songs out before she wants them released.
She said: “This happens all the time, you know? When you give it to streaming services, it might go to a freakin’ different country and somebody from there leaked it.
“And, you know, people don’t like you, so they’re gonna keep spreading it…
“It was literally the people who hate me who posted it. My fans were like, ‘Please, don’t post it. Everything that I do, they be on it before my fans . . . Seems like you love me, so it’s like, f**k it. I can’t retract it; I might as well put it out.”
