Michaela Wain gives birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘The Apprentice’ star Michaela Wain has given birth.
The 34-year-old businesswoman and her boyfriend Harrison Jones, who she met on the BBC business show, have welcomed their first child together into the world, son Grayson Jones, and the pair are “absolutely in love” with the little one.
She wrote: “It’s been a tough ride but I’m super happy to say Grayson George Jones arrives 23/10/18 weighing 7lb2 and looking like a heart breaker. Absolutely in love. (sic)”
Michaela – who already has a son called Harrison – also praised her fellow former ‘The Apprentice’ star, 28, admitting he was the “most chilled guy” while she was giving birth.
She wrote: “And a huge big massive thank you to his amazing dad @harrisonjones89 who was the best birthing partner ever. Officially the most chilled guy on the planet (sic)”
Harrison wrote: “Grayson George Edward Jones has arrived And on my mums 60th birthday too! What a present (sic)”
The pair posted pictures of their little wrapped up in blue and white striped PJs and a beanie.
Michaela revealed in June she was expecting the pair’s baby, and joked they had been the real winners of the ‘The Apprentice’ after finding love.
She wrote: “Well I guess it’s out there. Me and @jones_harrison are gonna be having a little one. who says we didn’t win the apprentice (sic).”
The couple’s relationship was revealed in January with an insider admitting there was a connection between the pair ever since they first met.
The source explained: “There was always a connection between them but they tried to resist their urges during filming. They’re now in a fully-fledged relationship and have been spending a lot of time together.
“Michaela was keen to publicly announce their romance but Harrison was more reserved about the idea. They are smitten with each other though. And other contestants from their series have been so happy to see they’ve made it official.”

Chrissy Teigen’s mom gets US citizenship

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen’s mother has been granted US citizenship.
The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star is overjoyed her mom Vilailuck Teigen – who was born and raised in Thailand – has now been granted certain rights after living in America for some time.
Chrissy shared a video on Twitter of Vilailuck reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while carrying her two-year-old granddaughter Luna, who was waving an American flag.
Chrissy captioned the post: “YES MOM!! Congrats (sic)”
And the brunette beauty’s husband John Legend – with whom she also has son Miles, five months – retweeted the video and revealed his mother-in-law had passed her tests with flying colours.
He wrote: “.@Pepperthai2 became a US citizen today! 100% on her test! (sic)”
Vilailuck lives with Chrissy, John and their children in their Beverly Hills home, while her husband Ron lives nearby.
But the couple’s famous daughter has previously insisted that separate houses doesn’t stop her parents from having a “good family life” together.
Speaking earlier this year, she explained: “So my mom lives with us, but everybody is like, ‘Where’s your dad?’
“He comes by every day and they’re married.
“It just works for them. It’s a good family life. We’re all very close, very tight-knit.”
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old model recently admitted she and John, 39, often argue, just like any other couple – and she gets most frustrated by the fact the ‘All of Me’ singer always knows how to calm their rows.
She said: “People see John as this perfect entity and all I want to do is be like, ‘Yeah, but he does this!’
“But he really is that fantastic, and amazing, and amazing for me because I’m a fireball. Like, I’m crazy and he knows how to deal with me when we fight.
“And he knows just the right thing to say to diffuse it. And I think that is the problem, it’s that it’s so frustrating because sometimes you just want to fight and sometimes you just want to yell at somebody and he’s never that person.”

Ice-T arrested

OHMYGOSSIP — Ice-T has been arrested in New York City.
The ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ actor was pulled over by police at around 6.56am on Wednesday (24.10.18) after pulling through a toll on the George Washington Bridge without paying.
And officers also noticed the 60-year-old star – whose real name is Tracy Marrow – hadn’t registered the new car he was driving, a red McLaren.
Ice-T was charged with theft of services, issued a summons and was later released on his own recognisance. He was also issued a summons for not having plates and registration.
Though it had been reported the rapper had an E-ZPass in his car to get through the toll but it had failed to work, a source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that he had no E-ZPass transmitter in the vehicle.
The ‘Colors’ rapper took to Twitter shortly after being released by police and admitted he felt he’d been treated harshly.
He posted: “Cops went a little Extra. Coulda just wrote a ticket. In and out.. Moovin.
“I love how people think just because I ACT like a cop on SVU I get special treatment from real cops… lol.(sic)”
But he then changed the subject to reveal his two-year-old daughter Chanel had had a great time visiting a carnival with her mother Coco Austin.
He posted: “In more IMPORTANT news… Chanel rode her first Roller Coaster! #Thingsthatmatter.(sic)”
Coco, 39, previously spoke of how much her daughter is just like Ice.
She said: “It’s funny, we both have the side-eye thing going. Ice has the side eye. Everyone knows his famous side eye. She’s got her side eye down pat. It’s hilarious.”

Cardi B turned down seven figure sum for baby pictures

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B turned down a “seven figure” sum to share her daughter’s baby pictures.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker was offered the hefty amount for the first pictures of her daughter Kulture Kiari, now three months – who she has with her husband Offset – but she turned it down.
Speaking to Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, she said: “Me and my husband … We just don’t wanna show our baby right now. I got offered seven figures [for baby pictures], but I’m just not ready yet.”
Meanwhile, Cardi gushed about her life, admitting she finally has “everything that she’s ever wanted”.
Marking her 26th birthday earlier this month, she shared: “I wanna say thank you everybody for wishing me a happy birthday. I’m excited, I’m gonna drink some Hennessy today. I’m a little scared cause I might act up but I don’t give a f**k … I’m dumb happy. I’m 26 years old and I have everything that I ever wanted and I’m so grateful. Thank you Jesus and thank you for all the love.”
The 26-year-old rapper feels her daughter has helped her “prove people wrong”.
She said: “Thank you so much. Thank you to all my fans, thank you to my team thank you to my publicist, thank you to Atlantic … thank you to my glam squad, thank you family, thank you Jesus! I really wanna thank my daughter, and not just because she’s my daughter. When I was pregnant, I was just so influenced to be like, yo I got to do this. I gotta show people wrong. I gotta prove people wrong, ’cause they said I wasn’t gonna make it, after I had the baby.”

Lindsay Lohan is seeing a new man

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan is “sort of seeing somebody”, according to her mother.
The star’s mum Dina Lohan has revealed her 32-year-old daughter is dating a new man in Dubai, and it sounds like she’s enjoying the blossoming romance.
She told Australian radio show ‘Fifi, Fev & Byron’: “She’s sort of seeing somebody new. She loves it, she’s in Dubai.”
Although Dina, 56, did tell the hosts that the new man in Lindsay’s life is from Switzerland, she wouldn’t give any other details.
She explained: “I don’t want to talk too much about it because she’ll kill me! She’s a very independent girl.”
Lindsay and her mom haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, but have patched things up in recent times.
Earlier this month, the ‘Mean Girls’ actress – who runs her own Lohan Beach House resorts in Greece – captioned a video of Dina on Instagram: “I love you so much. You are my best friend and i am so lucky to be graced with your presence and your heart every second of every day. Thank you for giving me life. I know we have had rough times.
“So let me help you make it easy.. @dinalohan @mtv @mtvlohanbeachhouse @dakotalohan @mikelohan @alianalohan #family that is real, is honest, it’s the purity, the simplicity that we forget when we have it all. Love the ones that gave you life, FOR THE RIGHT REASONS. I love you so so so so much!!!! #velocityblack see you @dakotalohan in #pfw (sic)”
However, Dina’s recent comments come after reports that Lindsay’s family are concerned about her recent behaviour.
She previously shared an encounter she had with a family who she believed to be Syrian refugees on her Instagram account, which ended with Lindsay seemingly being struck to the ground by the family’s angry mother.
A source told E! News that although Lindsay’s loved ones weren’t previously concerned about her, their attitude has changed since the video emerged online.

Richard Linklater to write and direct Bill Hicks movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Linklater is set to write and direct a film based on the life of comedian Bill Hicks.
The 58-year-old filmmaker – who helmed the 2014 hit ‘Boyhood’ – has signed on to develop the untitled film about the controversial stand-up star for Focus Features, Collider reports.
Linklater is a self-confessed fan of Hicks – who died from the effects of pancreatic cancer in 1994 – and has previously admitted to being disappointed that they never had the chance to work together.
The acclaimed directed has also argued that Hicks’ death left a gap in the comedy landscape that no-one has subsequently been able to fill.
Speaking in 2011, he explained: “There’s not quite any others like him. They don’t speak in the same voice. You’d think people would take that torch and go with it, but it’s a rare combination of that kind of intelligence, mysticism, political, you know … his politics, his angle, it’s pretty unique.
“I go through my life all the time … everything that’s going on in our culture, I always think, what would Bill Hicks be doing? You just miss him.”
At the moment, it’s unclear whether the Hicks film will be Linklater’s next project.
The director had also planned to make a movie about the Space Race in the summer of 1969, but those ambitions have recently fallen through.

Chris Pratt lined up to star in new action thriller

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt is reportedly in talks to star in a new action thriller written by Taylor Sheridan.
The 39-year-old actor had originally intended to fill his upcoming schedule with ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ and ‘Cowboy Ninja Viking’, but both of those projects have been delayed indefinitely, and Chris has now been lined up to star in the new action project from the writer-director of ‘Wind River’.
Sheridan’s script tells the story of an ex-special forces commando who is used to lead a black ops strike team that targets drug dealers, Variety reports.
The project is being produced by David Heyman for Warner Bros. film, which has the working title of ‘Fast’.
Sheridan has spent months meeting with top Hollywood stars in a bid to find the big-name actor he needed to secure the studio’s financial support.
The film’s budget is reportedly around $75 million and Warner Bros. is said to be keen on developing the concept into a franchise.
Chris has already established himself as one of the movie industry’s most bankable stars, having played a crucial role in the success of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Jurassic World’ franchises.
However, Chris previously claimed that being an “outsider” in Hollywood has been one of the keys to his success.
He explained: “I came here I was an outsider. And staying a bit of an outsider in Hollywood has been the key to my longevity, because I know where I come from. And LA has this homogenising effect: eventually everyone becomes the same.
“I mean look at me. I was doing hot yoga at 5.30am. So if I don’t get out of here quick, I’m going to have the winter cap, the Botox and the tight jeans on in no time.”

James Arthur backtracks retirement plans

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur has backtracked on his retirement plans and wants to keep making music.
The ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hitmaker told his fans over summer that his next album would be his last, but he’s admitted he was “having a bad day” even if he still hates “certain” parts of his job.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Thursday (25.10.18), he said: “Yeah I was having a bad day I think.
“There are certain aspects of the business I don’t enjoy, just like, you know, the politics.
“I’m just good at the music, I’m not even particularly good at this kind of thing, you have days you just don’t want to do the other things you just want to do the music.”
The 30-year-old singer also opened up about his new single ‘Empty Space’ – which features ‘Harry Potter’ star Tom Felton in the music video – and joked it was a cheery tune.
He quipped: “It’s one of my happy songs. It talks about love and loss, in my capacity something I’ve dealt with in my life, and initially being in denial when you lose someone.”
His change of stance on his career comes after it was reported he has landed a cameo in popular Brazilian soap opera ‘O Tempo não Para’ (‘Time Doesn’t Stop’).
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Producers were so bowled over by the reaction which James’ song got that they were desperate to get him on screen.
“He flew to Sao Paulo a fortnight ago to shoot the scenes which saw him playing himself, singing Naked in a club which the main characters visit.”

Kelly Clarkson shares no make-up selfie

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson has posted a no make-up selfie.
The 36-year-old singer shared a snap of herself as she got ready to film for an episode of ‘The Voice’ – with a make-up wipe covering her eyes to remove redness and puffiness – and zit cream on her face.
Captioning the photo, she shared: “Just another day in #thechair ! #iwokeuplikethis (sic)”
The star was flooded with comments of support from fans, who loved her candid photo.
One user wrote: “You are so beautiful and such an inspiration to so many. I remember you winning american idle and look at you now, all grown up lookin like you do. You are so true to yourself xoxo (sic)”
Whilst another said: “This is the exact reason why people love you @kellyclarkson you’re awesome (sic)”
Meanwhile, Kelly previously insisted she has “always had good confidence”.
She said: “In the beginning [of my career if it wasn’t one thing, it was another. Like finally I was at the perfect weight that people loved – I happened to be doing kickboxing at the time – and that still wasn’t enough. I’m never going to live up to anyone’s expectations, so why try? I’ve always had good confidence. If somebody says, ‘I don’t like something about you,’ I’m just like, ‘You know what? I’ve been hurt so incredibly deeper than what you’re saying, and I survived. So I’m good.’ You can’t count on your self-worth being tied to someone else.”

Steven Moffat fears Doctor Who could look cheap against Netflix shows

OHMYGOSSIP — Steven Moffat fears ‘Doctor Who’ could look “cheap” next to big-budget streaming service shows.
The former showrunner – who was executive producer for the BBC sci-fi programme from 2009 until the 2017 finale, when Broadchurch’s Chris Chibnall took over the reins for 2018 – feels there needs to be a big investment into ‘Doctor Who’ to give it a chance of competing against programmes available on such services.
Speaking on the ‘Sitcom Geeks’ podcast, he said: “That is the big challenge of ‘Doctor Who’ now … running the risk of looking as cheap now as it did then, compared to what the rest of TV is doing, unless they put a whole lot more money into it. And it’s still an inexpensive show. A show that generates as much money as ‘Doctor Who’ should be getting more of it back, frankly … Television didn’t use to look the way it looks now. When we watch now, we watch something that’s quite often better than cinema. Have you have seen the recent ‘Game Of Thrones’? I haven’t seen anything in the cinema that matches their battle scenes.”
The new series of ‘Doctor Who’ recently returned to screens with Jodie Whittaker in the leading role, with the actress confessing she cried the first time she went inside the new TARDIS.
She said: “Just walking into it the first time was amazing; it was just me, Matt Stevens and Chris Chibnall. After I stepped in, I immediately had to go off and have a little cry. I had a real moment. It was surprisingly emotional … My favourite part is the pedal I can push and a Custard Cream falls out! It’s an Arwel Jones special.”

Olly Murs to return to The X Factor

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Murs is to return to ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘Troublemaker’ hitmaker – who is currently a judge on rival show ‘The Voice’ – has confirmed he will return to perform on the ITV show where he found fame, three years after the fall-out which saw Olly axed from his hosting duties after one year at the helm.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I don’t know whether it was Simon’s decision or not but I am definitely going to be performing on the show. It’s all confirmed. I’ve been asked back every album, so I can’t wait to go back again. I was nearly on the ‘X Factor’ panel but I decided to stay at ‘The Voice’. It was amazing to be asked, but ‘The Voice’ is more for me at the moment and my career. Who knows about the future but I wanted to stay on ‘The Voice’ for now.”
The 34-year-old pop star previously revealed he “always wanted” to be on ‘The Voice’.
The singer – who will be joined on the panel by Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and will.i.am when the show returns in 2019 – said: “I made no secret about wanting to do it (‘The X Factor’) again. I had loads of offers of different things. But ‘The Voice’ was always the one that I wanted. I love the show very much. It’s fantastic and it’s great to be here.”
Whilst co-hosting ‘The X Factor’, Olly accidentally mixed up the judges’ scores and made a premature announcement that Monica Michael was being sent home.
And he has now revealed that he went to therapy over the blunder.
He said: “The papers didn’t laugh it off – they made a massive deal about it. The media attention, and the social media aspect, upset me the most. They really tried to take me to the cleaners. They tried to make me lose my job over a silly, small mistake. And when I went back to singing, it made me overthink what I was doing, ‘I’m going to forget the lyrics, what I’m doing’ … So that was something I needed to speak to a therapist about. And I’m not scared to admit that – that’s the stigma that men have.”

Alan Carr dresses up as Gemma Collins in bed

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Carr says he role plays as Gemma Collins to spice up his sex life.
The 42-year-old TV star has joked his famous friend is his inspiration when it comes to being more adventurous in bed with his husband Paul Drayton.
He is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: “David Beckham says marriage is hard work and he’s right. Me and my husband Paul have been together 10 years – in gay years that’s around 200 and almost unheard of.
“Posh and Becks have been together almost double that time – imagine how bored of each other me and Paul will be by then?
“But we add a bit of spice and freshen things up with role play. Obviously I dress as Gemma Collins in bed. And we often like to pretend to be Elton John and David Furnish – the Poundland version.”
Alan – who has dressed up as the ‘TOWIE’ star both at parties and for a ‘Love Island’ skit in the past – tied the knot with Paul in January after a decade together, and ‘Hello’ hitmaker Adele got ordained to play a big role in the special day.
As well as marrying the pair in her back garden in Los Angeles in front of just four people, she also insisted on paying for the entire day.
Alan previously revealed: “It was a very special day. She was amazing. She got ordained.
“I said, ‘Let me pay for something,’ and she said, ‘No, I’m paying.’ She paid for the whole thing.”
On Friday (26.10.18), Alan will be taking part in a special skit for ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ on Channel 4.
The star is leading the charge for a supergroup fundraising song in a similar vein to Band Aid’s 1984 festive classic ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ with plans to film the entire thing for a mockumentary called ‘The Big C List’.

Kanye West mental health talk would have been ‘distracting’

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlamagne Tha God cancelled his mental health talk with Kanye West because he thought it would be a “distraction”.
The 40-year-old DJ had been due to sit down with the ‘Bound 2’ hitmaker for a TimesTalk earlier this month but the event was cancelled shortly after the 41-year-old rapper met with President Donald Trump and claimed he had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder and was just sleep deprived.
And Charlamagne admitted he felt any discussion with Kanye about the subject would have deflected attention from his desire to eraticate the stigma surrounding mental health issues, particularly in the black community.
He explained: “He said that he wasn’t on his meds. He’d gotten misdiagnosed. It wasn’t bipolar. It was sleep deprivation, so I was like, ‘I think he needs to figure that out.’
“For what I’m trying to do, which is elevate the conversation of mental health in the black community, and try to eradicate the stigma around mental health, I just didn’t think it would be a good conversation. I thought it would be a distraction.”
And Charlamagne claimed Kanye’s team were “relieved” when he told them he wanted to cancel the sell-out event.
Asked by ‘Late Show’ host Stephen Colbert how long he had waited after the ‘All Day’ rapper’s White House meeting to pull the plug, he said: “I took a day because I didn’t want it to be a knee jerk reaction. Sometimes we’ll see everybody with this backlash on social media and we get caught up in the hype and we’re not really thinking for ourselves.
“We’re thinking about based on how everybody’s reacting. So I waited a day and then I reached out to his team and I reached out to his people and they were all kind of relieved. They just felt like that was the best thing.”
Kanye – who has children North, five, Saint, two and nine-month-old Chicago with wife Kim Kardashian West – wasn’t upset when the talk was cancelled.
Charlamagne said: “It was all good. He took it well.”

Noel Gallagher’s new songs have ‘disco’ sound

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher has been writing songs that sound like “70s disco” records.
The former Oasis star has been penning new tracks for his next solo album and he has ditched the usual lyrical references and guitar chords that made him famous in favour of fresh riffs for him.
Speaking at the launch of his book ‘Any Road Will Get Us There (If We Don’t Know Where We’re Going)’ at Kings Place in London on Tuesday (23.10.18), he revealed what his new songs sound like, saying: “Well, 70s disco … like the beginning of the world.”
Noel worked with producer David Holmes on his more experimental third solo studio LP ‘Who Built the Moon?’ and he is carrying on that spirit of change on his next record by looking back to friends and figures from his childhood to inspire his songs rather than look to himself.
Referring to the divide between an audience and an artist when they became super successful, he said: “No one’s ever going to make an interesting album about being a rock star living on Primrose Hill.”
Noel, 51, believes the secret to his success as a solo artist is that he has scaled back his ego and learnt that he and his High Flying Birds touring band – which includes former Oasis guitarist Gem Archer and drummer Chris Sharrock – are collectively great.
He said: “I’ve often said to the people in my band, ‘None of us here are the best in the world at anything. We’re a group, we make this noise and people love it.’ For my own part in it, I’m not the best signer or guitarist but I’m the best in the world at being me, nobody can be better than me at being me. All these people have paid to see me so it’s easy, just go out and be yourself.”
Speaking about what he’s enjoyed about his last tour – which has included more electronic and dance influenced songs in the set such as ‘She Taught Me How to Fly’ and ‘It’s A Beautiful World’, he added: “I don’t really move a lot on stage and there was one bit where I was in like a cage of lasers, I was like, ‘F**ing hell, this is like being in ‘Superman’, it’s amazing.’ It takes away from the fact that I don’t really do a great deal on stage but it does cost a fortune.”
