Kim Woodburn is reportedly set for a return to the ‘Big Brother’ house tonight

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Woodburn is reportedly set for a return to the ‘Big Brother’ house tonight (31.10.18).
The former housemate sparked controversy with her outspoken antics when she appeared on the celebrity edition of the show last year, and it’s said bosses want her back on the civilian version this week.
With the programme ending its long run on Channel 5 on Monday (05.11.18), and according to The Sun Online, Kim will be brought in for a special secret task.
Producers are said to be keen to do everything they can to make sure the reality show ends on a high.
During her time on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in January 2017, Kim clashed with the likes of Jessica Cunningham, Chloe Ferry and James Jordan, while her infamous row with Coleen Nolan has continued even after they both moved on from the programme.
The Nolan Sisters singer is currently on a hiatus from ‘Loose Women’ – and cancelled plans for a solo tour – following a backlash after the two former housemates clashed on the daytime panel show over the summer.
The pair had been at loggerheads ever since they starred on the Channel 5 reality show last year, and fans had tuned into ‘Loose Women’ hoping to see the pair reconcile, but were left shocked when 76-year-old Kim branded Coleen “lying trash” and a “piece of filth” before storming off the set after a heated row.
When some critics then took Kim’s side and blasted Coleen on social media, she was reduced to tears during a live TV interview, and said she considered walking away from her showbiz career entirely.

Justin Timberlake says fatherhood has had a “profound” effect on his life

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake says fatherhood has had a “profound” effect on his life.
The ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’ hitmaker – who has three-year-old Silas Randall with his wife Jessica Biel – can’t believe how much becoming a dad has changed his life.
He explained: “The things I have learned from being a father have been profound. It’s made me look at relationships in a new way. It’s made me think about who my parents are as people, and how that affected me then and has contributed to who I am now – and how all that might affect my child. It makes me wonder how my son will see me when he grows up. It makes me want to be more thoughtful.”
And the 37-year-old singer’s “life changed forever” when he found out his wife was pregnant.
Writing in his book ‘Hindsight: & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me’, he shared: “I was on the 20/20 Experience Tour when my life changed forever. I was in Detroit and pulling a week or two by myself because my wife was in Los Angeles, but was coming to visit me in a few days. I had just finished a show, and I go into my car and took my phone out. There was a text from Jess, in all capital letters. It read ‘Call Me Now’. I FaceTimed her back immediately. She answered with this look on her face, and I knew exactly what she was going to say. Instead, she just held up the pregnancy test, and we both started bawling. I ended the tour early so I could be at home and take care of my family. My last show was in Las Vegas, on January 2, 2015. Three months later, I was a father.”

The former Verve frontman was due to perform at the northern city’s Albert Hall on Wednesday night (31.10.18) and London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum on Friday (02.11.18), but he was forced to axe the dates on doctor’s orders.
The ‘Bitter Sweet Symphony’ hitmaker admits it has been a “hard call to make” and has apologised to any fans he has let down, but promised he’ll make it up to them and be back “stronger”.
Sharing a picture of all the different medicines he’s taking in a bid to shit the infection, the 47-year-old musician wrote on Instagram: “I want to say how disappointed I am to have to reschedule the upcoming Manchester and London shows.
“I was diagnosed by the Middlesbrough team doctor and he said the throat virus probably started before Glasgow it would have been easy to say we’ll just cancel Middlesbrough and Nottingham but the reason I was there is to play some cities like Middlesbrough that get passed on!
“It has really been hard to make this call but everyone deserves to hear me at my best. It hurts to think people have booked hotels etc that’s the worst bit. Again apology to fans band crew I will be back stronger I hope people who did see those shows no I care and love being up there. (sic)”

Richard supported former Oasis singer Liam, 46, on his ‘As You Were’ solo tour of North America and at his mammoth UK concerts this summer at Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester and Finsbury Park in London.

Paul Surridge wants to make Roberto Cavalli more practical

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Surridge wants to make Roberto Cavalli more practical.
The 43-year-old designer hopes his creations for the Italian fashion house – which is best known for its use of animal prints and is a favourite of the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Emily Ratajkowski and Kim Kardashian West – are “empowering” to women.
He said: “I want to address how people dress. We can’t just do 20 metres of chiffon because you’re probably travelling in an Uber rather than a horse and carriage…
“I want to dress a working woman, not a kept woman.
“Twenty metres of chiffon is beautiful to look at, but I don’t think it feels empowering.
“These new pieces can be minidresses or they can be tops, it’s a blazer or it’s a cocktail dress with cycling shorts underneath.”
And Paul is keen to bring a new, younger, selection of customers to the designer brand.
He told The Times newspaper: “Artisan, heritage, ornamentation – they’re not words that millennials speak.
“There’s a whole community of kids that will talk about that sneaker.
“If I don’t reach the next generation, where’s this brand going?”
The designer also wants women to be “comfortable” in his clothes as he thinks that’s the key to true glamour.
He explained: “Everything is more urban, more laid back.
“Glamour for me is about being comfortable. If you’re not comfortable, you’re vulgar.
“Cavalli isn’t polite, it isn’t intellectual but that doesn’t mean it has to be frisky and provocative. Sexiness comes from being confident in your skin.”
Under Paul’s guidance, the label have introduced knitwear and slippers to their ranges in order to offer more to their existing client base.
He said: “I said, ‘When these women on their yachts go upstairs for a coffee or watch the sunrise having not been to bed, are their cashmere jumpers Cavalli? Is the throw on their bed?’ No.”

Coronation Street’s Lewis Archer looks set to be bumped off over the new year

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Lewis Archer looks set to be bumped off over the new year.
Nigel Havers’ conman character is reportedly going to meet his maker in a “bloodbath” as Weatherfield welcomes in 2019 – just eight months after the 66-year-old star returned to the ITV soap for a third stint.
A TV source told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “The intense plot will play out over the new year.
“Nigel always knew he wouldn’t last long on the cobbles when he signed up to return and what a way to make an exit.”
The ‘Chariots of Fire’ star first appeared in the soap as gentleman escort Lewis in 2009 who was hired by Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls), and they were later involved in a love triangle with Rita Sullivan (Barbara Knox).
He lasted less than a year after fleeing with a fortune when he scammed Peter Barlow’s (Chris Gascoyne) betting shop when he cashed fraudulent betting slips.
Nigel was back on the cobbles in February 2012 but departed a year later, and he returned to Weatherfield in June 2018.
It’s not known how Lewis might meet his maker, but he will not be the only local resident to dice with death.
Peter and his son Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) are set to be involved in a terrifying boat blaze, which will see their lives “hang in the balance”.
A source recently said: “There’s a massive fire on a boat on the canal and Simon is inside.
“Peter and Simon’s lives hang in the balance. It’s going to be a huge stunt. They’re planning massive pyrotechnics and special FX.”
The intense inferno will take place on the Weatherfield Canal, but Peter will manage to rescue his son by chucking him onto the towpath.
The source added: “Someone raises the alarm and Peter races to rescue his son who has passed out from smoke inhalation. He will jump on to the burning boat and go below deck to try to get to Simon.
“He will manage to rescue him by throwing his lifeless body over the side and into the arms of neighbours, gathered on the side of the canal.”

Helen Flanagan wants to get married to have the same surname as her daughters

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Flanagan wants to get married to have the same surname as her daughters.
The 28-year-old star has kids Matilda, three, and four-month-old Delilah with her footballer fiance Scott Sinclair, and she is keen to wed the Celtic forward to become a Sinclair herself.
She said: “For me, it’s just important to get married as I want to have the same last name as the girls.”
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress and the former Aston Villa star revealed in May that they were engaged, and while Helen has wasted no time trying out different wedding gowns, she insists the couple will not start to plan their nuptials “properly” until mid-2019.
She said: “I’m enjoying looking at wedding dresses and I’ve tried a few on, but I’m going to wait until Delilah is one before we properly plan it.
“It does already feel as if we’re married though, because we’ve been together for so long.”
Helen has also made no secret about the fact she is “passionate” about breastfeeding, and she makes sure not to consume much junk food when she is feeding her baby that way.
She said: “Breastfeeding really gets you into shape as you burn a lot and you have to eat a healthy diet.
“You’re not going to eat a lot of junk if you know that’s going into your milk. It’s all about balance.”
While Helen acknowledges the challenges of motherhood, the star believes she has more “confidence” with her and 29-year-old Scott’s second child, and she is keen to extend their brood.
She added to Closer magazine: “I love having babies and I love being pregnant. I really want four children – Scott might need some working on the idea, though.”

Holly Willoughby will find it “weird” presenting ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby will find it “weird” presenting ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’
The TV presenter will co-host the show with Declan Donnelly – whose on-screen partner Ant McPartlin has taken time off following his drink-driving conviction earlier this year – and she said being a fan of the reality show will make her job in jungle a bit tougher.
Asked if she was under pressure stepping into the role, she told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I’m a fan of the show, so that feels weird.
“I have got to switch my head from being a viewer to being the host.”
The 37-year-old star also admitted she hasn’t even booked her flight to Australia yet, despite the fact she heads off next week.
Her comments come after Holly admitted she is “excited” about the challenge but isn’t looking forward to the creepy crawlies.
She added: “I’m really excited, I can’t wait to go. I’m scared of everything, but it’s not for me to be worried about that, that’s for the celebrities to be worried about, they’ve signed up for that so it’s their problem, not mine.
“If anything lands on me I’m not going to like that very much, I’m not a fan of the uninvited guests but I’m ready to go and I’m excited for the adventure.”
Eamonn Holmes has promised ‘I’m A Celebrity’ fans that Holly “isn’t going to steal” Ant’s job as he takes time off to deal with his sobriety.
He said: “No-one in any way thinks Holly is going out there to steal Ant’s job, so I don’t think there’s any suspicion of that.
“I think it’s a perfect fit … because Dec and her are such good friends, and the fact that it’s not another bloke there, cushions the blow somewhat.”

Hulk Hogan is to make his WWE comeback at the company’s upcoming ‘Crown Jewel’ event in Saudi Arabia

OHMYGOSSIP — Hulk Hogan is to make his WWE comeback at the company’s upcoming ‘Crown Jewel’ event in Saudi Arabia.
The 65-year-old wrestling legend has been added to the list of performers advertised as appearing at the show on WWE.com on the ‘Crown Jewel’ page in what will be his first time back on WWE TV since the summer of 2015 when his contract was terminated following the leak of a transcript which revealed him to have used a racial slur to describe the former boyfriend of his daughter Brooke Hogan.
Hulk’s return follows the confirmation this week that Superstars John Cena and Daniel Bryan will not be heading to the Middle Eastern country for the much criticised grapple fest this Friday (02.11.18)
Following the termination of his contract, Hogan was also removed from the WWE Hall of Fame but he was officially reinstated in the summer and was invited backstage to the ‘Extreme Rules’ pay-per-view in July where he offered an apology to the locker room for his words.
Just last week The Hulkster – real name Terry Bollea – hinted that he would be heading to Saudi Arabia and admitted he was so grateful to have been forgiven by the WWE Universe for his mistake so many years ago.
He told the Orlando Sentinel newspaper: “I’m looking forward to going to Saudi Arabia with the WWE, looking forward to ‘WrestleMania’ – but yeah, we’re moving forward at a rapid pace. It’s exciting to have this opportunity again after all these years where I was there and gone.
“I sure would love to be a part of the ‘WrestleManias’ and the big events and the grand openings and the new conquests of the WWE.
“Saudi Arabia! Hong Kong! China! Antarctica! The North Pole! Whatever it is, I’d like to be part of the ongoing growth of the wrestling business, and be with WWE the whole time, that’s the only place to be.”

Gary Barlow claims ‘The X Factor’ producers created false drama for a ratings boost

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow claims ‘The X Factor’ producers created false drama for a ratings boost.
The former judge on the talent show – who appeared on the programme for two years until he quit in 2013 – has opened up on his experiences behind the scenes, and alleges some of the production staff who worked on the show at the time tried to manipulate what was happening on screen.
According to Mirror Online, in an extract from his autobiography ‘A Better Me’, he wrote: “About half an hour before the show goes live, the producers would come in and they’d go, ‘Oh my God. That Misha. She’s a bully. Can’t believe it. She is such a bully. In fact, you know what? You should say it. You should say it on air. She’s bullied everyone all week.’ ”
Gary also admitted he once wondered if his ‘X Factor’ dressing room was “bugged”, because of the stories that seemed to be leaked to the media.
He wrote: “We developed a bad case of showbiz paranoia. Was the dressing room bugged? They always seemed to know what was being talked about behind closed doors, and eaten, too. What ever happened in that building always found its way to the press.”
What’s more, he was wary about taking on the judging role after consulting his showbiz pals.
He said: “I’ve got a very healthy address book of TV professionals and I set about ringing every single one of them.
“The X Factor. What’s it all about? To the last, they all said the same thing: ‘The only thing anyone cares about in that building is The X Factor.
“They won’t mind throwing you under the bus, using you to get a headline, feeding you a line that will end your career, as long as The X Factor gets a mention’.”

Rihanna has been praised for her “raw” and “organic” New York Fashion Week show

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna has been praised for her “raw” and “organic” New York Fashion Week show.
The ‘Work’ hitmaker revealed her Savage x Fenty lingerie collection in a runway presentation featuring models of various body shapes and skin tones, and Jazzelle Zanaughtti felt more comfortable in the green set she wore than she has ever done on the catwalk in the past because she was able to be herself.
She said: “The show was raw. We were all half-naked skin, bones, rolls, curves, scars and stretch marks 100 per cent out for the world to see.
“In confidence, power and unity we were able to be unapologetically ourselves.
“Personally, I usually really don’t like doing shows, they always make me feel like I have to put on a face and a walk that doesn’t feel like mine. But this one was so special because I felt like me.
“Everyone was so different, and all looked equally amazing. Most of the time in fashion, diversity feels like it’s more about hitting a quota.
“But this show was different: it was organic, and it came from a place of love.”
Sudanese model Aweng Chuol had an equally positive experience with the show and praised Rihanna for making beauty more “inclusive”.
She told Vogue.com: “I do believe that Rihanna has definitely played a part in how we perceive beauty, in the sense that she is a very inclusive business woman, in a very equality-elusive society.
“It felt amazing to walk in a show that was so different to the many shows that have been happening in NYC season after season.”
Casting director James Scully has been a longstanding critic of inequality in the fashion industry and praised Rihanna for making a change in the typically-conservative lingerie market.
He said: “I think the idea of that kind of Vegas-style parade of overt showgirls is no longer modern.
“A pageant-type, Barbie show feels totally out of step. Even Miss America is trying to modernise the way they hold a competition.”

Liam Payne has joked he’s going to buy his former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik reviving tattoo cream for Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne has joked he’s going to buy his former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik reviving tattoo cream for Christmas.
The 25-year-old pop star was one of the performers at London shopping centre Westfield’s 10th anniversary celebration in Shepherd’s Bush on Tuesday night (30.10.18) and during his appearance, Liam was quizzed by the evening’s host James Corden on what festive gifts he would be getting the 1D boys this year.
After pondering what his estranged pal Zayn – who quit the boy band in 2015 – might like these days he settled on some lotion that would improve the appearance of his many inkings.
Liam said: “What do I buy the guys from One Direction? My god, well football is easy for Niall, so something football for Niall, Louis used to skateboard. Harry could with some clothes, he could with something less shiny, something ambiguous so he could go about his business, maybe something like a Morph suit.
“What do we get Zayn? I honestly wouldn’t know these days, what would we get Zayn? What about that tattoo cream that brings your tattoos out, yeah a men’s set.”
Before Liam could pick a gift for his best pal Louis, 26, Corden made fun of ‘The X Factor’ judge’s penchant for sports casual wear, saying: “You know what Louis could use, a tracksuit top.”
Prompting a laughing Liam to answer: “Yeah he hasn’t got enough of those. A Diadora, or a Champion one, or what about an Umbro? I had a nice florescent Umbro when I was a kid, but I digress.”
Afterwards, Liam and Corden led fans watching the special concert in a sing-a-long to the chorus of One Direction hit ‘What Makes You Beautiful’.
During his set, Liam was joined on stage by Rita Ora and the pair performed a charged rendition of their hit ‘For You’ from the ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ film at the star-studded event.

Alexander Armstrong wants to install a TV studio and a gun room into his new house

OHMYGOSSIP — Alexander Armstrong wants to install a TV studio and a gun room into his new house.
The ‘Pointless’ presenter – who has four sons with wife Hannah Bronwen Snow – has had plans approved for various leisure facilities in the basement of his £5 million 10-bedroom Oxfordshire mansion, which also include a recording studio and a wine room, The Sun newspaper reports.
The 48-year-old presenter – who is also a singer and has released three albums – has previously spoken of how he “grew up” shooting and still does so “very occasionally”.
He said: “I shoot very occasionally.
“I grew up shooting . . . but because I do shoot I think it’s important to stand up for it.
“And I’d like people to be honest about what they don’t like about country sports, because if it’s actually the people you don’t like then I’d much rather they would actually just say that.”
Alexander recently admitted he loves unwinding in the kitchen but doesn’t get the chance to cook as often as he’d like because he doesn’t get home from work until late.
He said: “I used to do a lot of cooking when I was a jobbing actor and comedian, but now I’m usually home quite late, so it’s harder. I do absolutely love cooking.
“Years ago I did a course and it was really useful – learning things such as how to make a roux or knowing how to thicken something. I’m quite well-versed in the basics now.
“If I’m cooking alone in the evening, I love opera. I usually put on some Verdi, but I’m currently rediscovering Richard Strauss Die Frau ohne Schatten.”

Former ‘EastEnders’ star Richard Blackwood has scoffed at claims that soap operas encourage people to drink more alcohol

OHMYGOSSIP — Former ‘EastEnders’ star Richard Blackwood has scoffed at claims that soap operas encourage people to drink more alcohol.
The 46-year-old actor – who played Vincent Hubbard on the BBC One show until earlier this year – was invited on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Tuesday (30.10.18) to discuss the study published by Centre for Tobacco and Alcohol Studies last week which argued that soaps should be shown post-watershed as there are are so many scenes set in pubs with “alcoholic imagery” which can encourage people, particularly youngsters, to drink.
Richard dismissed the suggestion, insisting the Queen Vic in ‘EastEnders’ and the other soap pubs feature prominently because they are “local forums”.
He said: “You think that we have been socially conditioned by TV to go to pubs, is that not English culture from the get go? I was born in ’72 and as far back as I can remember, my grandparents – who aren’t even English, they’re Jamaican – used to go to the local pub. That’s not because they were watching ‘Emmerdale’, it’s because we know that’s where the local forum is.”
Richard also argued that if it was true that soap viewers were heavily influenced by what they see on screen then there would be lots more murders, incidents of kidnapping and men committing bigamy, which are some of the more outlandish storylines that feature in the plots.
He added: “Is there a spike in bigamy and things like that, which are depicted more in soaps? If there was a real-life Albert Square or Rovers Return then people couldn’t live there because the stuff that happens on these shows is dark – is there a spike in that too?
“If the direct correlation is that the only thing kids are taking on is getting a pint of beer rather than cheating on their spouses or murdering and kidnapping then we are not doing too badly.
“Those are the things that are pushed more in those programmes – when I used to work in ‘EastEnders’ we didn’t even order the drinks because it wasn’t prevalent to the story.”

Adrian Chiles is getting a lot less dinner invites now he’s “almost vegan”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adrian Chiles is getting a lot less dinner invites now he’s “almost vegan”.
The 51-year-old TV presenter made a decision to stop eating meat for health reasons but as the steaks and chicken haven left his plate his friends have left him out of their restaurant plans.
In an interview with the new issue of Radio Times magazine, he revealed: “I’ve lost my love of going out to dinner a bit as I’m almost vegan and none of my friends are. I don’t get invited out as much since I stopped eating meat – or maybe they just don’t like me.”
Chiles does love cooking at home for his pals but often he spends so much time preparing his dishes that he loses his appetite when it comes to dining.
He said: “What I really love is cooking for friends. I spend hours making something overly complicated and get incredibly stressed and then don’t feel like eating. I sit exhausted at the end of the table, enjoying watching other people eat. Often I cook with my mum but that’s a horrendous combination – we fight like nothing on earth. More like combat.”
Chiles’ love of cooking and eating inspired him to take part in BBC Two comedy show ‘I’ll Get This’ which sees five famous people enjoy a meal at a restaurant together and one of them has to pay depending on the outcome of several games.
Discussing how he fared on the programme, he said: “The show started off being a bit of fun, and then the fear of being landed with the bill took over and the alcohol started playing with our systems. At that point all hell might have broken loose if we’d not been careful.”

Zoe Kravitz used her fame to land her dream home

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Kravitz used her fame to land her dream home.
The 29-year-old actress insists she “never” tries to benefit from her celebrity, but when she was competing with another buyer for an apartment that she initially thought was “out of [her] price range”, she had an advantage when she viewed the property and spotted ‘Divergent’ posters on the walls of the owners’ teenage daughter’s bedroom.
She admitted: “I was like, ‘Finally, this movie’s gonna do something for me!’
“I never, ever do this, but I said, ‘Look, I see your kid likes this thing. I’m in these movies. Your kid can come to the premiere, I’ll have everyone sign books — whatever you want.’ ”
Zoe – who got engaged to Karl Glusman in February after two years of dating – turns 30 in December and she’s “excited” to be starting a new decade in her life, even if it means making more mistakes.
She said: “Your twenties are fun, but they’re such a mess! Making mistakes, not knowing what you want, being a little bit of an asshole.
“I’m excited for my thirties, because I have a better sense of who I am and what my intention is with art and how to execute it. I’m sure I’ll make more mistakes. But that’s OK. We’re all beautiful messes.”
The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ actress can next be seen on the small screen in a new version of ‘High Fidelity’, and she’s excited about bringing out the “music nerd” side of her in her portrayal of a record store clerk, who was played by John Cusack in the 2000 movie.
She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I always related to that character. Just this neurotic mess of a person who can’t get out of her own way.
“It’s ironic to me that in a lot of stories men are the complicated, layered characters, when I think women are the most complicated and the most layered. We’re supposed to be perfect and take care of everyone, but sometimes we fall apart and we’re a big ol’ mess. If you don’t see that, you wonder, ‘Am I the only one who’s a f***in’ mess?’
“I get to produce, write, direct an episode. And I’m a genuine music nerd, so I’m excited to introduce older music to younger people.”
