Lily James and Dominic Cooper to reunite for romantic movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily James and Dominic Cooper are to reunite for new film ‘Is This Love?’.
The ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ stars have teamed up with director Dominic Savage to develop and star in the romantic movie, which will see their characters fall in love after leaving their previous partners.
Savage said: “It’s about the kind of exciting, absolutely-has-to-happen love.
“That couple are out of love. But these two have no choice but to be together. It’s a connection that’s so powerful and strong.
“It’s a very real, very physical relationship about what happens when the chemistry and electricity combine. Pow!
“When something is so passionate, how difficult is it to sustain in real life? How does love like that thrive when it’s so extreme.”
There will be numerous characters talked about in the movie, but James and Cooper’s alter-egos will be the only ones who appear on screen.
Savage added: “The other characters are referred to. Alluded to. You might hear them on the other end of a phone.”
Cooper, James and Savage are to meet again next month for an “honest and frank conversation” about the project ahead of hopefully filming next summer, and they are planning to finance the motion picture themselves.
The filmmaker added to the Daily Mail newspaper: “The idea is that if we keep the budget really small, you can just about make it.”
James played a young version of Meryl Streep’s character Donna Sheridan in the ‘Mamma Mia’ sequel, and Cooper portrayed Sky, the husband of his ex Amanda Seyfried’s alter-ego Sophie Sheridan, who is Donna’s daughter.
Cooper and Seyfried first met on the set of the original 2008 musical movie ‘Mamma Mia!’ before hooking up off screen for an on/off romance until their split in 2010, and he recently admitted it was “lovely” working with her again.
He said: “It was lovely. We stayed in contact. We’ve worked together so much in the past. With everyone in that cast, getting back together after that amount of time, the only way I could really think of what it must be like is like a school reunion.”

Little Mix hit out at music industry sexism

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix have hit out at sexism in the music industry – admitting each band member has considered quitting over the “s**t” they’ve been through.
The ‘Strip’ hitmakers – made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – claim boy bands still get treated differently to them during discussions about tunes, whereas they will be written off as “whining” about something if they disagree over a song choice.
Perrie said: “It’s double standards when you’re young women. When we started out it was almost like, ‘This is your lane, stay in your lane. You’re the faces and the name.’
“We’re not. We’re the brand. We’re businesswomen. It’s our baby. So everything we do creatively comes from us
“It is frustrating that if a group of guys were to say, ‘We’re not going to do that song, we’re going to release this song,’ it’s like, ‘Maybe we should listen.’
“Whereas, when we do it, it’s like, ‘Oh they’re at it again, they’re whining.’
“But we’re not. We’re perfectionists. We take everything we do so seriously. It’s important to us.”
Jesy admits all four of the group have thought about hanging up their microphones at times, but they have helped each other through the bad moments, and the girl band still have plenty of money to make.
She said: “We have days when we moan, but we love it. And I would hate to not do this ever again.
“We’ve all had a time where we’ve thought about quitting because of s**t we’ve been through in the industry and it’s just been too much, but we help each other through
We’re just very lucky we have each other. We’d go insane if we didn’t.”
Leigh-Anne quipped: “We’ve got a lot more money to make.”
Little Mix recently split from Simon Cowell’s Syco Records, who they signed to after winning ‘The X Factor’ in 2011, and they are “excited” about having a “fresh start”.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Leigh-Anne added: “We were with Syco for seven years and had an incredible journey but it’s going to be nice to change it up and get a new view on us.
“A change and a fresh start is a good thing, we’re excited.
“I think it’s going to be good for us as well. I’m intrigued to see what people want to do for us.
“We definitely speak our mind now. If we don’t like it, we always say it.”
Earlier this week, Simon claimed the “embarrassing” split was down to a dispute over one of their recent singles, ‘Woman Like Me’.
He said: “It was just embarrassing but, funnily enough, I was more annoyed … not about me, but about the fact people who had worked so hard in my company were being misrepresented.
“Why do artists think they’re more important than staff members? They’re not. They’re the same.
“The irony was the record they were arguing about, which is ‘Woman Like Me’, they didn’t want to record. This was one of those ironic times that we were having a hit and nobody was happy.”

Diplo teases John Mayer collaboration

OHMYGOSSIP — Diplo has teased he has “new music” with John Mayer on the way.
The 40-year-old studio wizard – who along with his Silk City partner Mark Ronson produced Dua Lipa’s recent smash hit ‘Electricity’ – revealed he’s been in the studio with ‘New Light’ hitmaker by sharing a picture of himself with his new baby goat, which he claims he received as a present for his birthday last week, on Instagram, instead of John, as he felt it would be too “awkward” to ask the 41-year-old Grammy-winning singer/songwriter for a selfie.
Alongside the snap with the miniature farm animal, the studio wizard – who has dating Katy Perry in common with the guitarist – quipped: “I wanted to post a picture of me and @johnmayer last night working in the studio because I know it would have been a moment. Something of a benchmark in my augmented reality of Instagram … But then I never even thought to ask – as the idea of stopping real time (while we were both in a state of creative delight) to create something fake for me to revel in and build engagement around my brand … It just seemed awkward
So instead – here is a picture of a baby goat I got in Jamaica for my birthday.
And expect some new music with John soon -comment below if your excited (sic)”
The Major Lazer star’s recent credits include Ellie Goulding’s comeback single, ‘Close To Me’, featuring Swae Lee and ‘Time Is Up’ with Poppy.
Diplo has applied his producing magic to hits for pop’s biggest stars over the years; from Britney Spears and Madonna to Shakira, Beyonce and Justin Bieber.

Jared Leto shaves beard for Morbius

OHMYGOSSIP — Jared Leto has shaved his beard in preparation for filming for ‘Morbius’.
The ‘Suicide Squad’ star is set to star as the titular villain in the ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘Venom’ spin-off, and on Thursday (15.11.18) he took to Twitter to share a video of himself removing his facial hair whilst promoting the forthcoming movie.
Alongside the clip posted on Twitter, the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman wrote: “And so it begins…#MORBIUS (sic)”
The teaser for the 46-year-old actor’s turn as the anti-hero comes after the producers teased it will start shooting “early next year”.
Matt Tolmach and Avi Arad confirmed production is set to begin in February.
Asked what their next project will be, Matt confirmed: “‘Morbius’ is the next one…
“The plan is early part of next year. We’re still working on it.”
Avi added: “More or less, February?”
The duo are delighted to have Jared on board for the film because, just like Tom Hardy in ‘Venom’, he’s passionate about the character but can be tricky to fit in new projects.
Avi said: “This is the great thing for us now, that an actor like him, and an actor like Tom wanted to have their own character. But the character they love.
“Both of them, very hard to get them to do a movie. You actually cannot get them. We went in, we sat with them, and everybody told us, ‘Oh, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba.’ Nothing. That’s what he wanted to do. Tom. And Jared, too.
“We went to this place with them, and he just…good actors want to be different than what they are.”
Morbius the Living Vampire first appeared in the comic book series ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ as an antagonist in 1971.
The character started off life as a scientist but his life was turned upside down when he attempted to cure himself of a blood disease with disastrous results, leaving him with vampire fangs and a thirst for blood.
Morbius landed his own series, ‘Morbius, the Living Vampire’, in 1992 until 1995.
The new movie is yet to have a release date pencilled in.

Ben Jardine is a father for the first time

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Jardine has become a father for the first time.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star – who is still married to Stephanie Saint Remy, who he wed after they met on ‘Married at First Sight’ – is a dad after his ex Silvia Sanchis gave birth to a baby girl.
Announcing the news on her FUBAR Radio show, the 36-year-old star’s pal Lizzie Cundy said: “Breaking News. Congratulations Ben Jardine.
“He is a father. Had a little baby girl. I don’t know if he wants me to announce it but I just have.
“Just sent me a WhatsApp message.”
Lizzie’s co-host Stephen Leng then asked who the mother is, and she explained: “That … is a good question. Not the one he married in the show, not the one he went out with after, it’s the other one.”
Ben confirmed in August – eight months after his split form Stephanie, which came just weeks after their marriage – that he was to be a dad, and admitted he will “forever protect and be grateful” for his child.
He said at the time: “They say ‘God loves to turn purposeless chaos into something beautiful’ and He (or She!) really has in my life!
“I have been blessed. Out of all the chaos of this past year something beautiful has happened, which I will forever protect and be grateful for.
“I never thought it would happen to me. Everything happens for a reason.
“It’s going to make a man out of me and I’ll be a great dad.”
Ben got close to Roxanne Pallet during their time on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ this summer, but he later admitted he had been “mugged off” by the former ‘Emmerdale’ star after seeing footage of her play fight with Ryan Thomas, who she had falsely accused of punching her.
Roxanne later claimed in her ‘CBB’ exit interview she was the “most hated girl in Britain”, and in September Ben urged people to “leave her be”.
He said: “I think everyone now should just get on with it. She’s been punished, bless her, leave her be.”

Holly Willoughby ‘more scared’ than all of the I’m A Celeb camp

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ medic claims Holly Willoughby is “more scared” than all of the stars “put together”.
The 37-year-old television presenter is taking the helm of the Australian jungle show this year alongside Declan Donnelly – as his presenting partner Ant McPartlin takes a break – and Bob McCarron says the ‘This Morning’ host needs her own camera whilst the celebrities are doing their bush tucker trials as she is extremely squeamish.
He told The Sun newspaper: “Holly’s more scared than all the celebrities put together, I’m not joking. All I have to do is talk to her and look at the floor and she goes ‘What’s on the floor? What are you looking at the floor for?’
“When they do the trials I think they need a camera just on Holly because she’ll be squirming.”
Harry Redknapp, Former ‘EastEnders’ star Rita Simons, ex-‘X Factor’ wannabe Fleur East, The Vamps singer James McVey, TV presenter Nick Knowles, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, ‘The Chase’ quiz queen Anne Hegerty, and ‘Inbetweeners’ actress Emily Atack are among those entering the jungle.
And Bob has revealed he’s slightly concerned as when he did his medical examination of the celebrities, many of them confessed they aren’t able to cook.
He said: “My main worry for this series – and it’s a bit of a laugh really – is when I interview all the celebrities and talk about their medicals to them, I try to find out a little bit more without them knowing.
“But I haven’t found one that can cook. There’s normally a chef among the group.”
Bob said that one of the the male celebrities is willing to take on the role of head chef – which could be Nick Knowles as he released his own cookbook, ‘Proper Healthy Food: Hearty Vegan and Vegetarian Recipes for Meat Lovers’ in 2015 – if none of his camp mates prove willing.
He added: “One person told me if nobody else cooks he’ll do the cooking but I don’t know if he’s particularly good. “Everybody else is saying ‘I hope there’s somebody good that can cook in camp’.
“If no-one can cook then you’re in a lot of trouble because the food we send in is specifically to be used, every part of it.
“If we send something in with a thick skin, it’s amazing how many celebrities throw that skin away.
“It makes us cry because that skin can be used.”
‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off on Sunday (18.11.18) from 9pm on ITV.

Stuart Manning ‘gutted’ after his Hollyoaks character is killed off

OHMYGOSSIP — Stuart Manning is “gutted” his ‘Hollyoaks’ character was killed off last night (15.11.18).
The 39-year-old star’s alter-ego Russ Owen was surprisingly murdered by Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) on his and Mercedes McQueen’s (Jennifer Metcalfe) wedding day after it was revealed he had got Breda’s daughter Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) pregnant, and Stuart admits he didn’t want his character to be bumped off.
Speaking in a video shared on his Twitter account, the former ‘Night and Day’ star – who returned to ‘Hollyoaks’ this summer after nine years away – said: “It’s been an amazing three months, the best time of my life working on ‘Hollyoaks’.
“I’ve met some of the most amazing people and worked with some of the most amazing people, cast and crew.
“Thank you to all you guys for being so amazing over the past … lots of years.
“But now I’m gone. Russ has been killed. So I don’t know what to say, apart from thank you. I’m going to miss everyone.
“I’m a bit gutted to be honest. I didn’t really want to die. But there you go.
“Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the hour episode. There’s lots more to come.”
He also tweeted: “Going to miss so many people and I want to THANK all of you for following me and supporting me!! Hopefully you’ll carry on following me and see what I do next! X (sic)”
As well as bumping off Russ, flashback scenes showed Breda was in fact responsible for the deaths of Carl Costello (Paul Opacic) and Glenn Donovan (Bob Cryer), making her a serial killer.
Mercedes was later arrested after she was found crying over Russ’ dead body.
Russ previously bought Mercedes the Dog in the Pond pub after accusing her of being a serial killer, when he should’ve been keeping an eye on Goldie and Sylver McQueen’s (David Tag) mum instead.
Jennifer recently said: “Russ has had some making up to do, after accusing her of being a serial killer! So, he buys her The Dog in the Pond, and Mercedes is now a landlady! Russ then starts to get a bit paranoid over her close relationship with Sylver.
“She realises that it was Sylver’s idea, and that makes it so much more meaningful for her. They can’t be together, but she can feel how much he cares for her.
“They were first loves and she’s the only person he’s had any romantic connection with. Mercedes has put it to the back of her mind over the years, but now he’s living with her, it’s bringing back those memories.
“She is trying to convince herself that Russ is the right one, and Sylver’s not an option.”

Cardi B: I can’t disconnect

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B finds it “really hard” to disconnect.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker admits she can find it tough to take time away from the spotlight but credits her husband Offset for knowing exactly what she needs.
She said: “It’s really hard for me to disconnect, but you know, my husband he was just like, ‘You know what? You need to go, you need a vacation.’ So he actually flew me out to the Dominican Republic and he took away my phone.”
The 26-year-old rapper – who welcomed her first child, Kulture Kiari, four months ago – says her body “shut down” from the overwhelming nature of her work.
She added to E! News: “My body actually shut down from all the work and I’ve been very overwhelmed cause I was trying to lose weight in the beginning and then now I’m trying to gain the weight. It’s been so hard to gain the weight back because my appetite has been so down and it’s just so much, but the work at least is getting done.”
Meanwhile, Cardi previously admitted she feels like she’s “losing her mind” sometimes.
Responding to reports Selena Gomez has entered treatment for an “emotional breakdown”, she said: “When I met her, she was such a sweet, adorable person. She’s really what you see. She’s really a sweetheart. I just want to let her know, Girl, you’re beautiful, you’re rich and hold on because even sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind. I just got to pray hard to God and get away from social media.”

Michael Douglas introduces Kirk to FaceTime

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Douglas’ father Kirk has discovered FaceTime – at the age of 101.
The 74-year-old star revealed his 101-year-old dad “loves” to video call and keep in touch with his son from across the US.
Appearing on ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’, he imitated one of their conversations as he said: “‘Hi Dad.’ ‘Where are you?’ ‘Let me show you dad, here, I’m here.’
“He says, ‘Who’s that?’ ‘He’s a friend, dad, hi…’ But I said, ‘Dad, there’s a three hour time difference between east coast and west coast.’ ‘I understand.’ ”
However, Michael – who is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones – admitted his famous father does have a habit of forgetting their conversations.
He added: “So sometimes we call, have a lovely conversation, hang up, we get out, about 15 minutes later, FaceTime. ‘Hi, how are you?’ I’ll say, ‘Dad we just talked 15 minutes ago.’ ‘Oh I forget, I forget!'”
Earlier this month, Michael paid tribute to the ‘Lonely Are the Brave’ actor – who turns 102 on December 9 – as he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He said: “My dad is here. In a month, Kirk will be 102 years old! It means so much to me, Dad, that you’re here today. Thank you for your advice, inspiration, and I’ll say it simply and with all my heart: I’m so proud to be your son.”
Meanwhile, Michael previously admitted that whilst he thinks it’s lovely that his kids Cameron, 39, Dylan, 18, and Carys, 15, want to follow in his footsteps and make a career in the movie industry, he’s already told them that they may struggle to replicate his success as it’s harder for “third generations”.
He previously said: “We’ve talked all about it. They’ve seen good fortune but they understand it’s really about… if they have that joy of performing and want to do it, then great. It’s not easy. Second generations are rare in terms of success. Or third generations. So we wish them well. You’re always happy to see someone young have something they’re interested in.”

Ashley Graham: I dated terrible guys because I had sex too soon

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham thinks “having sex too soon” led her to dating a string of “terrible guys”.
The 31-year-old model – who is now married to Justin Ervin – has claimed she dated a man in her early 20s who was “mentally, physically, and emotionally abusive” to her, and says the reason she found herself in that relationship was because she kept “giving it up too soon”.
Speaking to Gwyneth Paltrow on her ‘Goop’ podcast about leaving her “terrible” romance, she said: “I knew that I was a stronger woman for breaking up with him, and in feeling stronger for breaking up with him I was like, ‘What is it that I need to do to change myself so I don’t get back into that situation?’ And in that ‘aha’ moment, I was like, my problem is I keep giving it up too soon, I keep having sex too soon with these guys.”
Ashley then decided to refrain from having sex until she was married, but after a “little issue with some tequila” which led to her showing up at her agency “a little drunk”, her mother told her to go to church.
She added: “My mom said, ‘rehab or church,’ and I was like, ‘I’m not an alcoholic, so I’ll just go to church.'”
It was at church that Ashley met her now husband, Justin, and although the two went out for coffee, Ashley thought he was “another cheap guy” because he made her pay for their beverages.
The brunette beauty continued: “So I was like, great, I have another cheap guy. And he said that a man always appreciates it when a woman attempts to grab her wallet. So I was through with him, girl, I erased his number, done.”
But a month later, he asked her out again and this time he did pay, and the pair – who married in 2010 – became “inseparable”.
And the model was even able to keep up her own rule.
She told Gwyneth: “And he and I did not break my rule, and his rule as well, because I didn’t know that he was also trying to wait until he was married to have sex as well.”

Ariana Grande chops off signature ponytail

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has given her famous ponytail the chop.
The 25-year-old singer has rocked her signature high pony hairstyle ever since her first single ‘The Way’ was released in 2013, but on Thursday (15.11.18) she took to Instagram to show off her new shorter choppy hairdo by sharing a selfie in the car using the bunny filter.
The new look went down well with the majority of the ‘God is a Woman’ hitmaker’s fans and her showbiz pals, including fellow pop star Demi Lovato – who was recently released from rehab – who took the time to comment on the snap, writing: “Cutie.”
The ‘Dangerous Woman’ hitmaker had previously admitted her ponytail made her feel like a “Victoria Secret Angel”.
Although her style has gone through “an evolution”, she admitted she felt comfortable with the look and compared it to the feeling the Victoria’s Secret models must get when they put their Angel wings on.
She said: “The pony has also gone through an evolution, and I’m proud of that, old pony? I don’t know if she’s that girl. But new pony? I like her.
“I mean, it’s like a Victoria Secret angel without angel wings. It’s still her without them, but when she’s with them it’s like, ‘Ohh, I get it, she’s an angel.'”
In 2014, when fans began criticising Ariana for not changing up her style, the brunette beauty revealed the reason she turned to the ponytail was because of the damage her hair suffered as a result of years of dying it cherry red for her Nickleodeon shows ‘Sam & Cat’ and ‘Victorious’.
Ariana said she was covering up her “ratchet” natural hair with glossy extensions until she could grow it out.
In a post on her Instagram, she wrote: “I had to bleach my hair and dye it red every other week for the first four years of playing Cat, I wear extensions but I wear it in a ponytail because my actually hair is so broken that it looks absolutely ratchet and absurd when I let it down. I tried wigs, they looked RIDICULOUS, tried a weave…and literally wanted to rip my scalp off. (sic)”
The ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker’s ponytail was the envy of her peers, particularly Camila Cabello, who recently revealed she got hair advice from Ariana.
The former Fifth Harmony star donned one of Ariana’s signature high ponytails to the MTV European Music Awards this year, and the ‘Havana’ hitmaker tweeted the ‘thank u, next’ singer and asked how she coped with the pain caused by the hairstyle.
Camila wrote: “I just did a high ponytail for the first time and it is literally pulling on my BRAIN ITS SO PAINFUL HOW DO YOU DO IT @ArianaGrande.” (sic)
The brunette beauty responded and joked that although she experiences pain, she doesn’t feel as much strain as she uses hair extensions while Camila opts to style her natural hair.
She replied: “well u actually have hair so that prolly makes it a lil more painful ….. nah jk i’m in constant pain always and don’t care at all.”(sic)

Jake Quickenden’s secret I’m A Celebrity pub trips

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Quickenden kept sneaking out to the pub when he was supposed to be on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ lockdown.
The former ‘X Factor’ star finished as runner-up in the 14th series of the reality show in 2014, but after landing in Australia he managed to escape from his holding hotel for secret pub trips before he entered the jungle.
He said: “You’re supposed to be in lockdown, but it depends who you get looking after you. I was in the pub most of the time.
“I could sneak out of my room, I did alright.
“I went in about three or four days late so I didn’t even know when I was going in. I was just in my hotel room and you get a knock at the door and they’re like, ‘Come on.’ And they gave me my hat and I was like, ‘Oh this is getting real now.’ ”
But Jamie Lomas – who appeared on the same series – had no such luck making it to the boozer.
He added: “I was in my room and the girl [‘I’m A Celeb’ crew member] was in the next room, and if I tried to sneak out she would be out of the door, ‘Where are you going?’
“They take your phone off you, it’s like being a kid.”
Jake also managed to sneak some snacks out of the hotel room for his time in the jungle, and revealed he had a calorific treat in his pocket when he met fellow campmate Edwina Currie.
He said: “Who would’ve known I’d be friends with Edwina Currie? We met each other and neither of us knew each other. But it was like, ‘I like you.’
“I was eating so much before I went in, I was just like, ‘I’m just going to get everything.’
“I think when I met Edwina I had a Snickers in my pocket. I stole it out of the mini bar. I had it in my pocket when I met her.”
Former ‘Hollyoaks’ star Jamie admitted there were some tough times in the jungle, and he didn’t eat for 10 days while Down Under.
Speaking in a joint interview with Jake on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “I went 10 days without eating. I lost two stone when I was in there.”

Jude Law’s huge confidence boost

OHMYGOSSIP — Jude Law got a huge confidence boost after J.K. Rowling approved his casting in ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’.
The 45-year-old actor plays a young Professor Albus Dumbledore in and admits it was a great “comfort” to find out Rowling was supportive of his casting.
He said: “When the boss says, ‘I like you,’ it gives you a little bit of comfort. You can’t help but step into something like this, playing a part like this without feeling a sense of responsibility, a fear of letting someone down. But when the creator gives you the thumbs up, it’s a blessing.”
And his co-star Eddie Redmayne – who plays Newt Scamander in the movie – praised Jude’s “formidable” acting skills.
He added: “He is a formidable, formidable actor with great gravitas and weight and yet at the same time, he has this kind of playful quality. And I’ll never forget our first scene, which was the first time we see each other in the film.
“I just saw his back, basically. And the way he turned around, it was instant. It was like, in one look, he had managed to inhabit that. I hadn’t had any expectations about Dumbledore. But somehow it was solidified in one look.”
Meanwhile, Rowling previously revealed bringing Hogwarts back to screens in ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ was “beautiful”.
She said: “We had to go to Hogwarts, because that’s where Dumbledore is and he’s kind of important in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ story, so yeah we had to go back there. I wasn’t sorry to go back, it was beautiful.
“[Jude’s] extraordinary. I couldn’t have wished for better, he’s amazing. I told Jude more than anyone knows except me. Jude knows a lot now.”

Rami Malek still researching Freddie Mercury

OHMYGOSSIP — Rami Malek is still researching Freddie Mercury following the release of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.
The 37-year-old actor plays the late legendary singer in the new Queen biopic and has revealed that even though filming wrapped on the movie a long time ago, Malek is still obsessed with reading about the ‘Radio Gaga’ singer and making sure he got the part spot on.
He told Who: “You see him [Mercury] onstage and then almost instinctively, I’d want to discover more. There’s just an eloquence and elegance to him that you see when he’s onstage, and then you can see where all that was birthed from. Not many artists are wearing an entire head-to-toe leather outfit, sipping a champagne flute and telling their audience to strip naked if they please. And he still comes off with this essence of royalty. I re-read one of the biographies the other day just to see, ‘Did I miss anything?'”
Meanwhile, Malek previously confessed he felt “terrified” about playing Mercury.
He shared: “Every part of me was terrified. But then, what are you going to do? It’s an opportunity of a lifetime. I couldn’t pass it up … I was very cognisant of not wanting to imitate him or impersonate him at all. I started to think about how everything he did was spontaneous, in the moment. He is someone who lived every moment as if it was his last, I feel. I think that’s what makes him so gorgeous. He’s so authentic, and I wanted to be that authentic on stage, so I tried never to just copy his moves. I wanted them to spring from me as if they were happening to him.”

Damon Albarn wants France move over Brexit vote

OHMYGOSSIP — Damon Albarn wants to quit the UK over Brexit.
The former Blur musician has been left bitterly disappointed by the way the country has gone since the vote to leave the European Union, and he’s channeled those frustrations into The Good, The Bad & The Queen’s new album ‘Merrie Land’.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper while in France, he admitted: “Each note, every word, is linked to resentment that has accumulated in me since the Brexit.
“It’s clearly not good living in England right now. Writing this album, it was like a letter of divorce with my own country…
“Maybe I’ll come live here one day, but for now I’m a citizen of the world, I travel a lot.”
Britpop legend Damon revealed he was inspired to write the track ‘Nineteen Seventeen’ as he pondered why people wanted to sever ties with Europe.
He said: “I got the idea on the Eurostar, just after the train emerged from the tunnel on the French side.
“Looking out of the window I could see so many similarities between the French countryside and the English.
“And I couldn’t understand why my country wanted to cut ties with France and the rest of Europe.”
Meanwhile, Damon recently revealed he is saddened by the divide in the UK following the results of the referendum.
He previously explained: “If I’d had any idea that we were going to act as a people in the way that we have – prior and post – I would definitely have come back a lot earlier, if you know what I mean.
“As a person who loves their country, I would have expressed a very strong opinion. In public.”
