Jude Law and his Fantastic beard

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne has spilled that his ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ co-star Jude Law left all the makeup artists star-struck with his handsome looks and impressive beard.
The 36-year-old actor – who is reprising his role as Newt Scamander in the magical movie sequel from J.K. Rowling – has revealed the moment he was in the trailer and Jude, who plays Albus Dumbledore, walked in sporting his facial hair for the flick and had “men and women falling dead silent” at the sight of him.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (13.11.18) in a joint interview with Jude, Eddie said: “We had this hilarious moment with the makeup trailer when Jude came in and the entire makeup trailer men and women went dead silent with the length of his beard and everyone just didn’t breathe for about an hour and then he walked off.
“Then there was this kind of exasperated breath and sweetly one of the make-up artists went to me, ‘And you’re quite handsome too.'”
Laughing and looking at Jude, he added: “I get it, I get it!”
Eddie previously teased that ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ is “darker” than the first film in the franchise.
He said: “The most riveting aspect is the tonal change. It’s darker and more rigorous and weaving in the ‘Potter’ lore we’re much more familiar with. So these characters you met in the first film are now in the wizarding world you understand more thoroughly. When I read [the script] it had these cryptic elements to it and it played like a thriller that made it a page-turner … I’m enlisted by Dumbledore to try and track him down and capture him. What’s happened is Grindelwald’s belief that purebloods should reign over all non-magical beings is a political thing. He’s rallying more and more people and it causes divisions across families. He’s pretty hypnotic.”

Eddie Redmayne’s magic gift gaffe

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne accidentally gifted his godchildren with “knife-like” wands from his flick ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.
The 36-year-old actor – who is reprising his role as Newt Scamander in the sequel to the wizarding film ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ – thought it would be a sweet gesture to give his friends’ kids actual wands from the 2016 movie for Christmas, but he didn’t “receive many thank yous” from the parents as the props were like “skewers”.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘This Morning’ on Tuesday (13.11.18), Eddie spilled: “Right, I can actually talk from experience about the wonderful benefits of working on a J.K. Rowling film. After the first few, I got a few [wands] and it was Christmas taken care of. I gave them to godchildren and to my friends’ children.
“Then their parents called me back and were like, ‘You realise that these are like skewers? You’ve given a nine year old a sort of knife.’ I didn’t get many thank yous!”
Eddie – who has two kids, Iris, two, and eight-month-old Luke, with his wife Hannah – is part of an all-star cast in J.K. Rowling’s new movie, which is set in the same world as ‘Harry Potter’. Also appearing in the film are Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterson and Zoe Kravitz.

Harry Redknapp says I’m A Celebrity eating ‘won’t be a problem’

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Redknapp thinks he will be fine to go without food on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – because he doesn’t eat until the evening in everyday life.
The 71-year-old football manager tends to skip breakfast and lunch so he isn’t expecting to be craving food in the Australian jungle setting, where he and his campmates will be living on a diet of rice and beans until they win some more luxurious grub in the Bushtucker Trials.
He said: “I have got bad eating habits. I can go all day without eating until the evening. Eating won’t be a problem for me.”
The former West Ham and Spurs boss also insists he doesn’t expect the sleeping arrangements to be an issue because when he was younger he used to go on holidays to Kent hop picking, up to the age of 15, during which he slept on a wooden bed.
He said: “It was incredible when you look back. We had a basic wooden base of a bed with straw to make the pillowcase and mattress.
“You had to clear out the mice and bird nests and we had no bath! At least [with ‘I’m A Celebrity’] you won’t have to get up at 6am to pick hops.”
And Harry doesn’t expect the jungle to be a tougher experience than when he was a football manager, admitting it was a “lonely” job at times.
He added: “There’s nothing tougher than being a manager of a football team when things aren’t going well.
“When the results are bad, believe you me being a manager is a very tough, lonely occupation.
“You feel responsible however many people support your team every week. The buck stops with you. You haven’t got many friends when it’s not going well as a football manager.
“So no I don’t think doing this will be tougher. But to be honest, I have not actually watched the programme.
“I watch sport all day and all night when I’m at home and we are out three to four nights a week.”

Zoe Kravitz cast a love spell on her crush

OHMYGOSSIP — Zoe Kravitz once cast a love spell on a boy to make him fall for her.
The 29-year-old actress confessed that when she was a child she used a book of magic spells to try and romantically capture her crush but the mystical plot didn’t work.
When asked whether she believed in magic as a child, she told Time Out London magazine: “A hundred per cent. I had a book about magic that I was very into and I tried to do spells. I tried to make a boy like me in sixth grade. It did not work. Maybe it’s for the best. ”
Zoe stars as Leta Lestrange in ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, which is set in the same universe as the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, and the ‘Big Little Lies’ actress admitted that she “begged” her mother Lisa Bonet to buy her J.K. Rowling’s wizarding books when she was younger.
The star – whose dad is rocker Lenny Kravitz – said: “It was one of the first books that I read on my own. I remember the first book coming out and the sensation all over my school and me begging my mom to buy me this book. She was just happy that I wanted a book. I remember waiting in line at the bookstore for the new one. ”
Zoe was able to visit Hogwarts – the fictional castle which features in both franchises -while shooting the fantasy flick and, for her, the experience was simply “amazing”.
She said: “I got to go to Hogwarts and it was amazing. I read this book when I was a kid and saw it all so clearly and I so badly wanted to be at this school and now I’m here and seeing students of Hogwarts with their wands and capes and owls. It’s surreal it felt like a dream came true.”

Cara Delevingne got royal seal of approval on wedding outfit

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Eugenie approved the outfit Cara Delevingne wore to her wedding.
The ‘Suicide Squad’ actress caused a stir when she wore a top hat and tails to the nuptials of her royal pal to Jack Brooksbank last month but she admitted she sought permission before breaking the strict dress code.
In an interview with Grazia magazine, she said: “Eugenie has been a friend of mine since I was a kid and I’ve always wanted to wear tails. I texted her as I wasn’t sure about it, and she was like, ‘Of course, I expect nothing else from you.’ ”
But the 26-year-old catwalk star was surprised that her sartorial choice was seen as “brave” when she’d simply opted for something she felt comfortable in.
She said: “I found it interesting how many people came up to me and said, ‘You’re so brave to wear that!’ I was like, really? I feel way more comfortable like this.”
Although she is playing down her choice of wedding outfit, Cara does admit she loves to “break boundaries”.
Speaking about her latest campaign for TAG Heuer – for which she has been photographed in front of a roaring lion – she said: “It’s about standing up and showing how brave and how strong you are, especially as a woman. But it’s also about how vulnerable you can be in that situation. I guess, for me, it’s always about pushing the unknown and breaking boundaries. I live for things like that.”
The ‘Paper Towns’ star recently admitted she would love to meet Eugenie’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, but doesn’t think she’d be allowed to ask all the questions she’s desperate to know the answers to from the monarch.
She said: “I love her so much. There are many things I need to ask her, but I wouldn’t be allowed.”

Nadine Coyle opens up on parenting challenges

OHMYGOSSIP — Nadine Coyle finds motherhood a “challenge”.
The ‘Insatiable’ singer has four-year-old Anaiya with partner Jason Bell and she’s found difficulties and stresses with every stage of raising the youngster.
She explained: “I think every single day an every moment is a challenge.
“When they’re babies, it’s the challenge of adjustment and the sheer survival factor of this brand new baby that relies on you 100 per cent for everything, that fear of whether they are burped enough or whether they’re going to choke and all the sleepless nights you endure – it’s so stressful.
“So you have that from the beginning and then you move on and they are moving around and you have to put up gates and tape up the sockets. So there’s always a new challenge.
“There’s always something as you go through the years, you have to go with it.”
The former Girls Aloud star also confessed to feeling very “guilty” when she went back to work but she learned to accept that it was OK to be apart from Anaiya.
In an interview with the new issue of Closer magazine, she said: “You do feel guilty – I couldn’t leave her for a long time. But I finally reached the point where going to work was less stressful – and then it gets to lunch time and you wonder what she’s doing. I think Catholic guilt is so ingrained, so when you add the motherhood guilt, you just always feel guilty.”
While Anaiya is desperate for a sibling, Nadine is leaving the possibility to fate.
She said: “I think I’ll just go along with it and see what happens – if we’re blessed with that or not.
“But Anaiya would love a brother or sister, for sure.”

Hugh Jackman pays tribute to ‘true gentleman’ Stan Lee

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman has called Stan Lee a “true gentleman” and “creative genius”.
The Marvel Comics maestro sadly passed away on Monday (12.11.18) aged 95, and now the ‘X-Men’ star – who played Wolverine in the superhero franchise – has praised the comic book pioneer.
Appearing on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’, he said: “Let me just say, to the family and to the legions of fans, that I remember Stan as a true gentleman who had this glint in his eye. He’s a creative genius.
“He thought outside the box. He created a whole universe that changed the lives of many people – mine included.”
Hugh, 50, can recall how Stan would always receive so much love and respect from his fans wherever he went.
He added: “If you ever want to get a real understanding of where you’re at in the world, you think, ‘I’m Wolverine. I’m walking into Comic-Con … This is a good day for me.’
“I was on a red carpet and I was the only one on there, and no one was taking my photo, because at the other end was Stan Lee. There were about 300 photographers and interviewers – just on Stan!”
Describing his hero as “one of the greats”, the ‘Logan’ actor had also taken to social media to honour Stan following the news of his death.
He wrote on Instagram: “We’ve lost a creative genius. Stan Lee was a pioneering force in the superhero universe. I’m proud to have been a small part of his legacy and to have helped bring one of his characters to life.”
In collaboration with artist Jack Kirby, Stan created characters like Black Panther, Nick Fury, the Hulk, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four and the Inhumans, as well as teaming up with his own brother Larry Leiber and Jack on the creation of Ant-Man and Thor, and again with Jack, Larry, and Don Heck on one of Marvel’s most iconic superheroes, Iron Man.
Stan also joined forces with artist and writer Steve Ditko – who passed away in June this year – to create the legendary web-slinging superhero Spider-Man, as well as Doctor Strange.
Artist Don Heck helped Stan bring to life Hawkeye, whilst Bill Everett was the artist who aided Stan in creating the ‘man without fear’, also known as Daredevil.

Rob Delaney will be the first person to sign a CBeebies Bedtime Story

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Delaney will be the first person to sign a CBeebies Bedtime Story.
The 41-year-old comedian will read and sign on the popular CBeebies kids programme ‘Bedtime Stories’, and the ‘Catastrophe’ star will be using Makaton, which he learned to communicate with his late son Henry who tragically died at the age of two.
In a statement released on the CBeebies Twitter account, Rob said: “Our family learned Makaton to be able to communicate with our son Henry.
“We’re sad Henry isn’t here to see it but we’re happy other families will get to enjoy a story told in Makaton.”
Henry – whom Rob had with his wife Leah – lost his battle with brain cancer earlier this year, and Rob previously shared an emotional essay that was originally penned as part of a book he wanted to release for parents of sick children.
But he decided to stop writing the book when he saw his son’s last “bad MRI scan”, saying he and his family “just wanted to be with him around the clock and make sure his final months were happy.”
Explaining why he posted the excerpt, the 41-year-old comedian wrote: “The reason I’m putting this out there now is that the intended audience for this book was to be my fellow parents of very sick children.
“They were always so tired and sad, like ghosts, walking the halls of the hospitals, and I wanted them to know someone understood and cared.
“I’d still like them to know that … But I can’t write that book anymore because our family’s story has a different ending than I’d hoped for.
“Maybe I’ll write a different book in the future, but now my responsibility is to my family and myself as we grieve our beautiful Henry.”
The show will be broadcast this Friday (16.11.18) at 6.50pm.

Janet Street-Porter’s windy Hollyoaks cameo

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Street-Porter got wind on the ‘Hollyoaks’ set after chowing down on too many chips in between takes.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist and her fellow star Linda Robson are to appear on the Channel 4 soap as wedding guests at Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Russ Owen’s (Stuart Manning) wedding this week, and journalist Janet was blown away by her own performance.
When asked by Linda what she ate at the pub on her lunch break, Janet said: “I just had chips.”
Linda asked: “Oh yeah, what did it give you?”
Janet replied: “Wind.”
She wore a fascinator to play a wedding guest, but Linda admitted the ‘F-Word’ star was initially reluctant to don the head gear.
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ star said: “It took a while to get her to wear it, but once you got it on you loved it.”
Janet added: “Yeah, I wore it to lunch in the pub. I was in character.”
But she was shocked to see the cast also in the pub in their costumes.
She said: “I couldn’t believe it, everyone from the cast was sitting in the pub in their costumes.
“I was terrified I was going to drop my chili con carne down me.”
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, Jennifer added: “It just takes that long and that hour that you get, you want to make the most of that hour.”
This comes after Linda previously joked former ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ star Janet was acting like a diva on the set by refusing to wear various accessories.
She said: “She was going all through the handbags going, ‘Is that designer? No, I’m not using that, I’m not wearing that.’ ”

“Viewers will love him but the celebrities will be scared stiff!
“Like Kiosk Keith, Kev is a man of few words and doesn’t speak.
“Kev won’t take any nonsense from the celebrities, and he looks very intimidating!
“The celebs from previous series who thought Kiosk Keith was scary won’t know how lucky they were – Kiosk Kev is truly terrifying.”

James McVey has pre-recorded his guitar solos ahead of I’m A Celeb

OHMYGOSSIP — James McVey has pre-recorded his guitar solos for The Vamps upcoming live shows whilst he is on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in Australia.
The 24-year-old musician will be missing some gigs with his band during his time on the jungle reality show but to help his bandmates Brad Simpson, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans carry on performing he has laid down his tricky guitar parts which can be played during their songs.
He said: “I am actually going to miss a few gigs in South America and over here in Britain. I have recorded all my guitar (bits) so they can play that out at the same time. Our bass player is really good so he could play some of them too.”
The ‘All Night’ hitmaker admitted that his bandmates were originally shocked with the news he would be taking part in the ITV series and he’s actually more nervous about going on the programme than he would be performing.
He said: “They are really excited. They think it’s going to be great even though they were surprised initially as they thought I would struggle! But they have been so supportive and I am glad they are. I want to do something that puts me outside of my comfort zone. I am so much more nervous about this than I would be going on stage to perform a gig.
“I’m lucky when I’m on stage as there are four of us and I can ride off them and share any stresses I might have. Everyone I spend time with in my life is music related so I’m most looking forward to meeting people outside of that. It’s going to be fun.”
James will be joined Down Under by a host of famous faces, including former ‘Doctor Who’ actor John Barrowman, actress Emily Atack, TV presenter Noel Edmonds, one-time ‘EastEnders’ star Rita Simons and former Tottenham Hotspur football manager Harry Redknapp.

Nicole Kidman: I’m not a celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman doesn’t view “herself as a celebrity”.
The 51-year-old actress – who is married to country star Keith Urban, with whom she has two daughters, Sunday, 10, and Faith, seven – never refers to herself as a “movie star” or anything other label for famous people as she believes she does not have the same status as genuine stars like ‘Crazy In Love’ hitmaker Beyonce.
Speaking to the December issue of Allure magazine, Nicole said: “I don’t see myself as a celebrity. I’m not a celebrity. I’m not a movie star. I feel like I’m an actor. Beyonce is a celebrity. And that’s a much bigger thing. I still kind of work in the same way that I did 30 years ago. Each film, or each reason for doing something, vibrates from more than just the idea of making them.”
The Australian beauty has made a major move to the small screen with her friend Reese Witherspoon in their acclaimed HBO series ‘Big Little Lies’, and the actress confessed that she and Urban are always teased by the ‘Legally Blonde’ star for their love of the “ocean”.
Nicole added: “We’re Australian, both of us, so water is very therapeutic. We have a beach house, and we will get up in the morning before we have breakfast, and we’ll go in the ocean. Reese [Witherspoon] is our next-door neighbour. Reese will be going, ‘What are you doing in the water, you lovebirds?’ She’ll tease us because she rarely goes in the ocean. ‘You crazy Australian kids.'”
Allure magazine’s ‘Out of Office’ December issue is out next week.

Petra Ecclestone wants more awareness about autism

OHMYGOSSIP — Petra Ecclestone thinks there needs to be more awareness about autism in society.
The 29-year-old model was worried that her five-year-old daughter Lavinia – who she has with ex-husband James Stunt – was “progressing slowly for her age” and so she consulted doctors who diagnosed her with autism, however, she has now discovered that Lavinia has some learning difficulties but is not autistic.
Writing for the Celeb Guest column in Closer magazine, she said: “Lack of knowledge around the subject is something I’m personally trying to solve. When my daughter Lavinia, now five, was younger, I was concerned she was progressing slowly for her age – she wasn’t able to speak properly until she was three years old. I took her to numerous doctors, and they said that she was at high risk of being autistic. I was back and forth between US and the UK and I found that while the doctors in the US were great, I had a really bad experience in the UK.
“One even suggested her rowdy behaviour was down to the fact that she ‘needed a nanny’. I met many families with autistic children who experienced similar frustrations.
“We’ve now been told Lavinia isn’t autistic and actually has learning difficulties, but the process has made me want to help autistic children and their families.”
The heiress – the daughter of former Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone – has now opened a clinic in London called Petra’s Place, which is a therapy centre providing treatment for pre-school children with autism, and Petra says the experience has been extremely gratifying.
She said: “It’s incredibly rewarding and I really hope it makes a difference.”
The mother-of-three also revealed how her life has changed since becoming a parent, and she admits she “looks back and laughs” at her party days.
Petra – who also has twin boys James and Andrew with her former spouse – said: “I look back on my party girl days and laugh! Now my favourite thing is to relax at home.”

“People have lost everything, and we have some of them staying at our house right now. It’s just really sad, you know, because people give their lives to get to a place like this. I’ve lost a lot of belongings, but I haven’t lost everything.”
The ‘300’ actor has taken to social media to encourage people to give what they can to help those in need, and described himself as “one of the lucky ones”.

Vanessa added: “In my 20s, I was still trying to find my voice. I was afraid of confrontation. The biggest thing I’m trying to implement in my life now is valuing my words and letting them be known … It’s a constant learning process, but I feel like it should be.”
The ‘Spring Breakers’ star has an intense fitness regime and admits she used to enjoy overindulging on her favourite treats daily but now likes feeling “healthy” and strong.
