Game of Thrones for April 2019 return

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Game of Thrones’ will return for its final season in April 2019.
The hugely popular HBO fantasy drama – which is based on the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ novel series by George R.R. Martin – is set to air its eighth and final season next year, and although fans have known for some time that 2019 would mark the end of the show, it has now been revealed that the season will begin airing in April.
HBO announced the premiere month – which didn’t include an exact date – during a 30 second teaser clip which was posted to the official ‘Game of Thrones’ Twitter account on Tuesday (13.11.18).
The clip featured action-filled shots of various stars of the show, including Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).
In a tweet accompanying the clip, the show wrote: “Every battle.
“Every betrayal.
“Every risk.
“Every fight.
“Every sacrifice.
“Every death.
“All #ForTheThrone. (sic)”
Fans of the show have a lot to look forward to for the upcoming finale, as Emilia Clarke recently revealed “everything” from the costumes to the camera checks have been “more intense” than ever before.
She said: “[Camera] checks take longer, costumes are a bit better, hair and makeup a bit sharper – every choice, every conversation, every attitude, has this air of ‘this is it.’ Everything feels more intense.”
And co-star Kit Harington agreed, as he says shoots that used to take one day ended up taking almost a week, as cast and crew were determined to “get it right”.
He added: “It’s relentless; scenes that would have been a one-day shoot five years ago are now a five-day shoot. They want to get it right, they want to shoot everything every single way so they have options.”
Meanwhile, co-executive producer Bryan Cogman described the final season as “emotionally haunting”.
He said: “It’s about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy, dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death. It’s an incredibly emotional haunting bittersweet final season and I think it honours very much what [author George R.R. Martin] set out to do – which is flipping this kind of story on its head.”

Vanessa Hudgens’ Hot Cheeto diet

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Hudgens gorged on “Hot Cheetos and beef jerky” whilst starring in the ‘High School Musical’ franchise.
The 29-year-old actress might be the picture of health now, but when she shot to fame on the 2006 Disney musical movie at the age of 17, her diet was so bad it prevented her from being able to fit into the costumes she had to wear for the movie’s live concert tour.
She said: “We were getting ready to go on the second leg of our [‘High School Musical’ concert] tour, and it had been only two or three months, but the costume would not fit over my butt. So I had to pull it on over my head, and then it wouldn’t zip up all the way, and I was like, ‛What do you mean I can’t eat Hot Cheetos and rice and beef jerky every day?’
“So I had to start making changes at an early age.”
Now, the ‘Second Act’ star has taken on a healthy lifestyle, which consists of working out six days a week, on top of eating a pescatarian diet and going through intermittent fasting.
She added: “If I ever get to the point that I’m not happy with my body, I’ll do something about it. You will always have the power to do something. Sometimes it will take a little longer than you would like, and sometimes it may be a little more extreme. But if you honestly have a goal, you can do it. You just need to figure out the right way to get there.”
And she’s particularly strict if she’s ever gearing up for a role in which she has to strip off.
Speaking to Women’s Health magazine, the ‘Spring Breakers’ star said: “When I do a scene that requires me to not have a lot of clothes on, I definitely get very strict with myself and cut sugar and carbs.”

Margot Robbie’s uninspiring roles

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie finds it “uninspiring” to be cast as “the wife or the girlfriend”.
The 28-year-old actress has said that in the early days of her career, she was careful with which roles she agreed to take on as she refused to let herself be typecast in roles that would be “the catalyst for the male story line”.
She said: “When I was trying to make my name as an actress, creative roles for women were limited. I didn’t want to pick up another script where I was the wife or the girlfriend – just a catalyst for the male story line. It was uninspiring.”
In 2014, the ‘Suicide Squad’ star set up her own production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, and can’t believe it has taken Hollywood so many years to realise that more movies should be made “for women”.
She added to the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “When we set out to create our company, it was sort of a new idea, but then in response to the #MeToo conversation it was all that anyone was talking about. People were like, ‘Why don’t we make movies for women?’ Uh, what a revelation, right?”
Margot’s comments come after she previously revealed that despite her jam packed schedule, she never tires of her job – which saw her produce for the first time on thriller movie ‘Terminal’ – because she’s “hugely passionate” about what she does.
She said: “Producing’s a huge job and being a first-time director, you might as well be a producer as well and Simon [Pegg] obviously produces as well, so we all kind of understand what it really requires to take that responsibility on and it is a huge responsibility.
“But you don’t do it unless you love it. It’s just not worth it if you don’t love it, really, it’s a lot of time and effort for something unless you’re hugely passionate about it.
“But when you are doing something you’re hugely passionate about, you don’t care about the hours or this or that or whatever, and if you’re doing it with your friends, old friends and new friends, it’s not even work at that point.”

Winnie Harlow: Katy Perry helped me pee during Met Gala

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry had to help Winnie Harlow go to the bathroom during the Met Gala.
The 34-year-old singer came to the rescue of the model during the fashion extravaganza in May this year, after Winnie – who was attending her very first fundraising event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City – had difficulty going to the bathroom in her Tommy Hilfiger gown.
Speaking to Access Live, Winnie said: “Katy Perry helped me use the bathroom. I actually went to the bathroom and I was walking around looking like, ‘Oh my gosh, what am I going to do?’ And she was like, ‘Do you need help?’ and I was like ‘No, no, no, it’s ok, don’t worry about it.’
“[She was like] ‘Girl, you’re going to need some help.’ She went in the stall with me, and held my dress up. That’s what really happens in the girl’s bathroom.”
The 24-year-old model also walked in her first ever Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this month, and recently claimed she isn’t worried about hateful comments, after she endured nasty bullying throughout her school life.
Winnie – who suffers from vitiligo, which causes the loss skin pigment – said: “I was a confident child growing up, but that changed for a time when I was bullied at school.
“As an adult, I gained my confidence back by asking myself, ‘Why do I care what other people think?’ And now I don’t.
“If I were to come face-to-face with those bullies today, I wouldn’t say a word. Their thoughts are irrelevant.”
The former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant believes the key to not getting upset by bullies is for a person to figure out their own reasons why they doubt themselves.
She said: “If I was advising my best friend on bullies, first I would ask them, ‘Why are you doubting yourself?’
“Once you get to the core reason [for self doubt], you can start to work on making it over those barriers that are holding you back.”

Liam Hemsworth shares picture of house remains

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Hemsworth has posted a picture of the remains of his home, after it burned down in the Californian wildfires.
The 28-year-old actor evacuated the home he shares with fiancée Miley Cyrus over the weekend as the Woolsey fire tore through the Malibu and Calabasas area, and on Tuesday (13.11.18), he returned to the site where his house once stood, and shared a picture of the rubble, including concrete letters that spelled out “love”.
Posting the snap on Twitter, Liam wrote: “It’s been a heartbreaking few days. This is what’s left of my house. Love. Many people in Malibu and surrounding areas in California have lost their homes also and my heart goes out to everyone who was affected by these fires.
“To help: http://themalibufoundation.org & @happyhippiefdn (sic)”
Liam’s post comes after 25-year-old ‘Malibu’ hitmaker Miley shared the “devastating” news that they had lost their home to the blaze, but she’s “grateful” that she, Liam and their pets safely evacuated the abode before the fire hit, and she knows she’ll always have fond memories.
She wrote on social media: “Completely devestated by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now.
“My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left.
“Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department!
“If you are interested in getting involved see next tweet…. Donate $ , Time , Supplies I love you more than ever , Miley.(sic)”
The couple aren’t the only stars to have lost their home in the fires, which have been raging since Thursday (08.11.18).

Henry Golding ‘struggling’ with fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Henry Golding is “struggling” with fame.
The 31-year-old actor was thrown into the spotlight after starring as Nick Young in ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, and has said his newfound fame has been difficult to deal with, as he isn’t used to people’s “perceptions” of him changing when he hasn’t changed himself.
When asked how he’s been coping in the limelight, he said: “I’ve stayed the same throughout. It’s just people’s perception of you changes. So I’m struggling with the fame a bit.”
And Henry also insisted he would hate to reach the levels of stardom that Hollywood icons like Brad Pitt have achieved, because he believes it would stop him from living his life.
Speaking to GQ magazine as he was named one of the publication’s Men of the Year for 2018, he said: “I don’t know if I’d be comfortable being Brad Pitt famous. You can’t walk anywhere. You can’t live a life.”
His comments come after he recently said he didn’t want to be labelled as the “Asian leading man” as he’d rather just be known as a leading man, but said that if it helps “inspire” others, he’s happy to take the title.
He said: “I don’t want to be defined as the Asian leading man. I want to be the leading man. Henry Golding. If it means helping inspire other Asians to be leading men, hell yeah, I’ll take it. You don’t know how proud I am to have that associated with my name. Sadly, we’re so underrepresented that we have to start with these labels to be proud of it, to normalise it. So shit, I’ll be the next Asian leading man.”
And in the future, Henry wants to be able to take on other movie genres.
He added: “I don’t want to get stuck in romantic comedy. I love these modern dramas, but when I’m in make-believe, I want to be beyond that of this reality.”

Evangeline Lilly: Stan Lee was a true rock star

OHMYGOSSIP — Evangeline Lilly has described the late Stan Lee as a “true rock-star” and a “legend”, after he sadly passed away this week.
The Marvel Comics icon – who created or co-created many of the franchise’s most popular characters – passed away in hospital on Monday (12.11.18) at the age of 95, and now 39-year-old actress Evangeline has shared a touching tribute, in which she recalled being amazed by the amount energy Stan had.
In a tribute shared by The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday (13.11.18), Evangeline wrote: “I didn’t truly know Stan Lee. I typically connected with him at comic conventions where I would find myself utterly worn out and growing ragged or weary. It was usually around that time in the day that I would hear a stir in the crowd, and then watch a true rock-star electrify thousands of awaiting fans with the wave of his exuberant, 95-year-old hand. He delighted me every time. ‘How does he have more energy at 95 than I do at 39?’ I would ask myself.
“At a time when the world feels so tragic, I hope Stan’s life and legacy will remind us, today, of the wonders and the hope that still exist among, and within us. I want to keep telling Stan’s stories because I want to keep that spirit alive with him as I carry on angling to ‘skid in sideways’ to my bitter end with as much zeal and panache as Stan managed to. He is an inspiration to me. Live on, Stan. Legends never die.”
Evangeline starred as Hope van Dyne and her alter-ego Wasp in the 2015 Marvel film ‘Ant-Man’ and its 2018 sequel ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, and is set to appear as the character again in next year’s ‘Avengers 4’.
Previously, the brunette beauty had taken to social media to pay her respects to the late comic legend.
She wrote in two separate tweets: “Stan…more than a master of stories, you always seemed like a master of living. I will look to you for inspiration for the rest of my life. You live on. xoxo Your Wasp
“I believe with all my heart that #StanLee would want to be celebrated today. Even through your tears, let’s flood the internet with all the artwork, good, great or awful, that’s ever been created in Stan’s name. #BreakTheInternetForStan (sic)”

Eddie Redmayne’s jaw ‘dropped’ reading Fantastic Beasts script

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Redmayne’s jaw “physically dropped” when he read the ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ script.
The 36-year-old actor reprises his role as Newt Scamander in the upcoming sequel to 2016’s ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ – which is a spin-off of the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise – and has said that there are so many “huge surprises” in the movie that he couldn’t contain his shock when he first read through the script.
Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie at London’s Leicester Square on Tuesday (13.11.18), he said: “What is in store? Well, all I can really explain is how I felt when I read the script, which is … Each page turned and I read it quicker, and quicker, and quicker. I was so dumbfounded that my jaw physically dropped. My wife came in and saw me with my jaw [open] sort of drooling a little bit. There are huge surprises.”
And Eddie praised writer J.K. Rowling for creating a movie which spans multiple genres, but still keeps hold of the “warm magical embrace” that fans know and love.
He added: “What I think Jo’s done is made a film that is … It’s all these different genres, it’s kind of … it’s a thriller, it’s a comedy, it’s a romantic comedy at moments, it’s got all of that with her warm magical embrace as well.”
But despite loving the script, Eddie admits he was “nervous” to read through the pages at first, and made sure to re-read it as soon as he had finished it.
He said: “Jo’s new script arrives on your desk and your character is given all these new circumstances, and different edges, and kind of knotty qualities. It was actually heaven. Although I was so nervous reading that script, because you’ve waited all that time, that I kind of got through it, breathed, and started all over again and read it a second time.”

J.K. Rowling: Bringing back Hogwarts for Fantastic Beasts 2 was ‘beautiful’

OHMYGOSSIP — J.K. Rowling says bringing Hogwarts back to screens in ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ was “beautiful”.
The 53-year-old author created the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry in her hugely popular ‘Harry Potter’ book series, and after the success of the subsequent movies spawned a prequel series called ‘Fantastic Beasts’, J.K. was thrilled to be able to bring back the iconic fictional school.
Hogwarts wasn’t featured in the first ‘Fantastic Beasts’ movie in 2016, but as the upcoming sequel sees the introduction Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, J.K. says it was “important” to showcase the school.
Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie at London’s Leicester Square on Tuesday (13.11.18), the writer said: “We had to go to Hogwarts, because that’s where Dumbledore is and he’s kind of important in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ story, so yeah we had to go back there. I wasn’t sorry to go back, it was beautiful.”
The young Dumbledore – who was played by Richard Harris in the first two ‘Harry Potter’ movies, before he passed away and was replaced by Michael Gambon – is played by Jude Law in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ series, and J.K. claims she’s let him in on some secrets about the wizard’s past.
When asked about Jude’s portrayal of Dumbledore, J.K. said: “He’s extraordinary. I couldn’t have wished for better, he’s amazing. I told Jude more than anyone knows except me. Jude knows a lot now.”
And the author is equally as thrilled about the continued support the franchise has, as hundreds of fans turned up to the premiere wearing the robes of the Hogwarts houses made famous in the movies.
Speaking about the fan reaction to the movie, she said: “It’s amazing. Seeing everyone wearing their Hogwarts colours after all these years, it’s an amazing thing. I love it.”

Ezra Miller: I’m relatable because I’m selfish

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Miller thinks he’s only “relatable” because his job allows him to be “extremely selfish”.
The 26-year-old actor – who identifies as gender fluid and describes himself as queer – is considered to be a relatable person for those who don’t fit in with traditional stereotypes, but he has now said he believes his relatability is just a “fortunate byproduct” of his job as an actor allowing him to be himself.
Speaking at the UK premiere of ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ – in which he reprises his role as Credence – at London’s Leicester Square on Tuesday (13.11.18), he said: “[Being relatable] is the fortunate byproduct of doing something extremely selfishly. So like, I think artists inherently … you work with the silhouette of your own being, but then what’s beautiful is that when something becomes personal enough, people can connect to it.”
And Ezra believes that personality is evident in ‘Fantastic Beasts’ writer J.K. Rowling – who also penned the ‘Harry Potter’ books, of which the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ series is a spin-off – who he says writes “in a way that’s so authentic”, it allows people to “relate”.
He continued: “Like what J.K. Rowling does for us. She works from a place that is deeply personal. It comes from her in a way that’s so authentic and that makes it something to which everyone can relate.”
Meanwhile, Ezra also noted he was “extremely excited” to meet his fans at the premiere, as whilst he believes they’re always with him, these events give him a chance to say hello.
He said: “I’m always extremely excited to be in these strange circles that we run in where we can say ‘Hello’. And we’ll always be together, but sometimes we’ll meet.”

BTS condemns atomic weapons after controversial t-shirt

OHMYGOSSIP — BTS have condemned the use of “atomic weapons”, after they recently had TV appearances in Japan cancelled when photos resurfaced of member Jimin wearing a controversial t-shirt.
The hugely popular K-Pop group – also comprised of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, and Jungkook – had their scheduled performance on Asahi’s flagship show ‘Music Station’ last week cancelled when a photo of singer Jimin wearing a top that appeared to celebrate the Hiroshima atomic bombing in 1945 went viral.
The back of the shirt featured pictures of a mushroom cloud created by an atomic bombs and of Koreans celebrating their liberation from Japanese rule in August 1975, and text repeating the words “Patriotism our history Liberation Korea (sic)”.
And now, the ‘Fake Love’ hitmakers’ record company Big Hit Entertainment have said the group are “adamantly against” the use of any atomic weapons, and that the shirt – which is believed to have been worn by Jimin, 23, in August last year – was not worn to cause “distress or pain”.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Big Hit said: “In all activities involving BTS and any other artists associated with our company, Big Hit does not condone any activities of war or the use of atomic weapons, is adamantly against them, had no intention of causing distress or pain to anyone affected by the dropping of atomic weapons, and we will continue to adhere to these principles.”
Big Hit then offered their “sincere apologies” for the t-shirt, and said admitted they should have taken more caution to prevent the ‘Idol’ singer from donning the garment.
They added: “Regarding the wearing of the outfit containing image of atomic bombing, as previously explained the incident was in no way intentional, and although it has been verified that the outfit had not been designed originally to injure or make light of those affected by the use of atomic weapons, we would like to offer our sincere apologies not only for failing to take the precautions that could have prevented the wearing of such clothing by our artist that inadvertently inflicted pain on anyone affected by the use of atomic weapons, but to anyone who may have experienced distress and discomfort by witnessing the association of our artists with imagery related to atomic bombings.”
During World War II, atomic bombs were used for the first and only time in a war when they were dropped on the Japanese cities of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, killing hundreds of thousands instantly. Many more died in later years as a result of radiation sickness.

Robin Thicke: There’s nothing left of my home

OHMYGOSSIP — Robin Thicke has said there’s “nothing left” of his home after it was caught in the Californian wildfires.
The ‘Blurred Lines’ hitmaker and his pregnant girlfriend April Love Geary – who already have eight-month-old Mia together – were evacuated from their Malibu abode on Friday (09.11.18) due to the raging wildfire spreading through California, and on Monday (12.11.18), the singer returned to the site of his home to find everything gone.
He said: “It’s funny, [from what] you see movies, you’d think there would be one doll left over, or a book of course, something. [But] it’s just rubble. There’s nothing left.”
The 41-year-old musician spoke of the “devastation” that his community is facing in the wake of the fires, but says there’s still “hope”, as many of the homes in the area are still standing.
He added: “It’s a great community, it’s a community of wonderful people, a lot of parents whose kids go to the same school as my kid. It’s just devastating.
“Coming back here, there’s a lot of hope. I see how many homes are standing, [there are] a lot of positive things that a lot of people who had to evacuate don’t know.”
Although Robin and April have lost their home, some of their property remains intact, and the singer has said he plans to have their house rebuilt.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: “A lot of homes are still standing. Ours didn’t make it, you know … sometimes it happens. We love this area, we love the people here, we love this neighbourhood. Luckily, some of the property is still intact, you know, [it was] just the home.”
April took to her Instagram story over the weekend to reveal the tragic news that their home had been burned down, as she uploaded a photo of the front gate of their destroyed house and, alongside a crying emoji, wrote: “Our house is gone.”

Jesy Nelson struggled with fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesy Nelson “struggled” with the pressures of fame at the start of Little Mix’s career.
The 27-year-old singer was catapulted to stardom when she won UK talent show ‘The X Factor’ alongside her band mates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, but has said she spent years feeling “miserable” because she believed people were spreading negative comments about her.
She said: “When I first started out, I struggled. I never thought I would get over thinking people thought certain things about me. I still get upset when I talk about it. I’ll never get those years back. I was so miserable, I should have been enjoying my f***ing life.”
The ‘Power’ hitmakers are gearing up to release their new album ‘LM5’, which is all about female empowerment and embracing who you are, and Jesy says the message is all the more important after battling her own insecurities for so long.
She added to ASOS magazine: “This is why we feel so passionate about what we’re saying on this album.”
Jesy’s confession comes after band mate Jade recently spoke about their new music, stating they penned a track called ‘Woman’s World’ which touches on the #MeToo movement, after they were left “angry” by what was happening, and felt the need to become more “ballsy” with their lyrics.
The ‘Shout Out to My Ex’ singer said: “So we wrote this song when the whole #MeToo movement was coming about. You know … I was so angry about what was going on. It was important to write it with Jez, [a songwriter] who’s a man. It holds an important message. We haven’t written anything that’s too controversial before, and now we’re starting to write things that are slightly more honest. We want to be a bit more ballsy and say ‘yeah, it is hard to be a woman’.”

Channing Tatum gushes over Jessie J’s London show

OHMYGOSSIP — Channing Tatum gushed over his girlfriend Jessie J’s heartfelt performance at her London concert on Tuesday (13.11.18).
The ‘Magic Mike’ star made his relationship with the 30-year-old singer Instagram official on his own profile, as he heaped praise on Jessie’s “special” show at the Royal Albert Hall.
Alongside a picture of the stage taken from his seat at the iconic venue, he wrote: “This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow. (sic)”
According to E! News, the 38-year-old actor’s mother was also in attendance to see his new girlfriend for the first time.
Channing showing his support for Jessie comes after the ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker attended the opening night of his ‘Magic Mike Live’ show in the British capital over the weekend.
Jessie – who recently started dating the Hollywood hunk – posted a photograph from the event at the Hippodrome Casino on her Instagram Story, congratulating her new beau on the show’s success.
Jessie wrote: “Congratulations @channingtatum what a show… Ladies and Gentlemen you don’t want to miss this. (sic)”
The singer’s appearance at the event in London came shortly after Channing and his five-year-old daughter Everly attended a performance by Jessie in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Channing and actress Jenna Dewan announced they’d decided to split in April this year, having been married since 2009.
At the time, the high-profile duo issued a statement that read: “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision – just two best-friends seeing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”
Since then, Channing has started dating the British pop star, and Jenna has been seeing the Tony Award-winning actor Steve Kazee.
A source recently said: “Jenna is having a lot of fun with Steve. They’ve been dating for months out of the spotlight and it’s becoming more serious. They have a lot in common.”
Despite this, Jenna and Channing are still supporting one another in their efforts to co-parent their daughter.
The insider added: “She and Channing are both very respectful of each other, but she’s ready to move on with her life. She’s feeling hopeful about the future and her friends are also really excited to see her so happy.”

Shania Twain is embracing her 50s

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain is embracing her 50s and feels happier than ever.
The 53-year-old singer has revealed she is enjoying her career even more nowadays, as she opened up about her secret to enjoying getting older.
She told Extra: “I’m 53, and I’m happy as ever to be my age. Real is good. My career is more fun now than ever, and I’m enjoying life.”
The ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ hitmaker has taken on a new role as the judge for singing competition ‘Real Country’, and she outlined the importance of being “unique”.
She added: “You’ve gotta take risks, and it’s all about being original and unique.”
Earlier this year, Shania opened up about her Lyme disease diagnosis in 2003, and admitted having surgery to treat the condition has changed her voice forever.
Shania – who retired from performing in 2004, before recently making a comeback to the music scene – shared: “Does my voice sound deeper? It does, though, doesn’t it?”
At the time of her diagnosis, the Canadian star feared she’d never be able to sing again.
However, Shania admitted she was lucky that her condition was diagnosed and treated so quickly.
She said: “I thought I’d never sing again … It was nerve damage from Lyme disease. I saw a tick fall off me and I got treated right away, otherwise the damage would have been a lot more extensive.
“I was on tour, and I almost fell off the stage every night because I was so dizzy. I felt lucky when I found out the cause, because the disease can go to your brain or heart.”
Shania launched her comeback album ‘Now’ in 2017, and she’s admitted to relishing the experience of making music again, describing the songwriting process as being “like a diary entry”.
Reflecting on her return to the business, she said: “Songwriting is like a diary entry, though sometimes I listen back and think, ‘Oh my God, that’s way too personal…'”

Lady Gaga kept A Star Is Born props to show kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga kept items from ‘A Star Is Born’ to show her future children.
The 32-year-old singer – who recently got engaged to talent agent Christian Carino – has held on to her alter ego Ally’s lyric book, the shirt her on-screen lover Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) gave her and even a hotel-sized bottle of bubble bath from the set, so that her offspring will have a “tangible” and “poetic” connection to their mother’s work.
She told the latest issue of Variety magazine: “They are things I will want to show my little girl or little boy and say, ‘Here they are. You can touch them.
“I want them to have a close, tangible, poetic experience with the film the way I have.”
The ‘Born This Way’ singer also teased that she and Bradley will duet on the soundtrack, ‘Shallow’, should they be nominated for Best Song at the Oscars next year.
She told the publication: “One hundred percent.”
In fact, the 43-year-old actor – who also directed the blockbuster musical – has already given thought as to how they would approach a live rendition of the hit song.
He said: “We talked about that actually, because I’m such a maniac.
