Kerry Katona would love to be a grandma

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona would be “over the moon” if she became a grandma.
The 43-year-old star – who has Molly, 22, and 20-year-old Lilly-Sue with first husband Brian McFadden, Heidi, 16, and Max, 15, with second husband Mark Croft and nine-year-old DJ with the late George Kay – is ready to embrace the “next stage” of her life and would be thrilled if one of her older daughters was to have a baby.
She wrote in her column for new! magazine: “I think the next stage of my life is being a grandma and I would love it! If one of the girls turned around to me and said they were pregnant, I’d be over the moon.”
Although the former Atomic Kitten star and her fiance Ryan Mahoney have discussed having a baby together, she is “scared” to take that step because none of her relationships with her other children’s fathers worked out.
She explained: “My first husband was away on tour a lot in the early days. I’ve raised all five of my children alone and sometimes I don’t know how I did it.”
“Ryan and I sometimes chat about kids but, honestly, everyone I’ve had a child with has left me, so that scares me.“Ryan and I sometimes chat about kids but, honestly, everyone I’ve had a child with has left me, so that scares me. But Ryan is such an amazing stepdad to all of them.”
Previously, Kerry admitted she didn’t want to get pregnant again because her youngest daughter’s birth had been so “traumatic”.
She wrote in her column: “I nearly died when I gave birth to DJ, and that’s why I never want to be pregnant ever again. It was very traumatic and I still think about it.
“It’s affected me that much that I don’t want another pregnancy. Even though I still want more children, I’m not willing to put my body through that again.”

Rankin to bring ‘exclusive world’ of the photo industry to general public with new festive project

OHMYGOSSIP — Rankin is launching a festive pop-up experience in the heart of London.
The photographer will open RankinLive on Carnaby Street on 22 November and for £500, members of the public will be able to star in their own photoshoot, either on their own or with a guest, with passersby able to watch the legend in action as he also shoots some famous faces.
Speaking to WWD, the 57-year-old snapper said: “For years, I’ve had this idea of doing live photo shoots in the window of a shopfront, bringing the exclusive world of the photo industry out to the general public.
“Carnaby Street is arguably one of the most famous shopping streets in the world, so there is no better place to launch this concept.”
Those who take part in the photoshoots will receive a digital version of their portrait, as well as an A4 authenticated print.
Rankin is excited about the project and promised those who buy a photoshoot won’t go home disappointed.
He said: ““A RankinLive experience is unlike anything else I do.
“Across a day I get to meet and photograph 20-plus members of the public, and in the 15 minutes they’re with me I really feel like I get to know them. We talk, I shoot, and in the end everyone leaves the session beaming.
“Beyond this though, we showcase the images I shoot live on screen to anyone who wants to watch. Doing this allows everyone to feel included, and it becomes about so much more than me taking a photograph — it becomes a shared experience, one that celebrates creativity and community.”
In addition, Rankin’s online store, Swag, will be given a temporary home at the space, which will stock books, tote bags and signed gifts.

Robbie Williams had to halt filming on ‘triggering’ documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — Filming on Robbie Williams’ documentary had to be halted several times as he struggled to look back on “triggering” moments.
The 49-year-old pop star is seen reliving his past by watching old videos in new Netflix series ‘Robbie Williams’ which covers his rise to fame, career in Take That and his solo success as well as his issues with addiction and mental health battles.
Director Joe Pearlman has now revealed looking back on the darker aspects of his life often proved too much for the singer. Joe told The Independent newspaper: “He was going to have to rewatch active addiction: I think we knew that was going to be incredibly challenging and also potentially triggering.
“So we had to be very careful around those moments … This thing would take its toll on a person. And there were times when we couldn’t continue, times when we had to call it [off] and that was fine.”
Joe also revealed Robbie’s wife Ayda Field told him that every day after filming wrapped, the singer would get into bed and just stare at the ceiling.
He added: “There are a few moments in this show that I can’t believe someone would survive it and be able to continue and carry on to talk about it, never mind reliving it.”
In the documentary, Robbie opens up about dark moments from the past including a past battle with suicidal thoughts, revealing he thought it might be “best if I just passed away”.
He has also touched on his battle with eating disorders in a recent interview with The Sun newspaper, saying: “I looked into eating disorders … and yes, there’s been an overarching eating disorder that has been with me all my life, it’s a mixture of all the disorders. “I had ‘bigorexia’, which is thinking you have no muscles and no size, and anorexia. “There is a word that’s missing though, and that’s what I am. It was either restrictive or over-eating – I’ve never had it right. “There is an eating disorder … I’m just not sure which one is my brand.”

Meg Bellamy worked at Legoland before landing Kate role in The Crown

OHMYGOSSIP — Meg Bellamy was working at Legoland before landing a royal role in ‘The Crown’.
The actress was playing a red brick at the UK theme park before landing landing a part in the Netflix show as Catherine, Princess of Wales – with 21-year-old Meg portraying the royal during her time studying at St Andrews university in Scotland when she was still known as Kate Middleton.
She told The Telegraph newspaper: “I had left school and I was working at Legoland, which was the best job ever. I didn’t have an agent at the time so I was just doing everything that I could on my own …
“Then in April last year, the opportunity [for The Crown] popped up on my Twitter, and at the same time my neighbour sent it to me and told me that I should go for it. She’d just seen it and she thought that I looked like Kate.
“In the first round of auditions you had to say something about yourself and tell them your height. I told them I was a red brick at Legoland – that was my fun fact.”
Meg went on to reveal she studied pictures of the royal in a bid to copy her make-up for the audition and listened to her voice to help capture her accent.
However, the actress admits she doesn’t think she looks much like the royal in real life. She added: “I never got that [being told I look like her] and I still think maybe I don’t, but with the amazing hair and make-up teams and the costume department, once everything’s put together, you have to have an essence.”
Meg admitted landing a role in such a huge show hasn’t changed her life just yet, but things may change once the new series hits the streaming service.
She said: “I can still walk around and no one knows who I am. But I think the biggest time I noticed that was when we filmed in St Andrews; that was pretty intense. It’s a small place, and we were the talk of the town.”
‘The Crown’ returns to Netflix in November with the second half of the series arriving the next month.

Barry Keoghan turns to celebrity dad pals Cillian Murphy and Colin Farrell for parenting tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Barry Keoghan gets parenting advice from Cillian Murphy and Colin Farrell.
The ‘Saltburn’ actor is dad to 14-month-old Brando – who he has with partner Alyson Kierans – and because he has never had a relationship with his own father, he has been happy to have friends share their knowledge of raising their own kids.
He told Sunday Times Style magazine: “You want to have some fatherhood of your own to base it on and I don’t, so I take advice off people like Cillian and Colin a lot — I’ve seen Colin’s love for his kids and I now get that.
“When your kid gives you that little smile it makes you feel like you’re the only person in the world. You’ve got to be there unconditionally for that little being.”
Barry’s mother Debbie was a heroin addict who passed away when he was 12 and after being in and out of foster care from the age of five, when he was 10, he and brother Eric went to live with their grandmother and aunt in their two-bedroom flat, and he also looks to his granny for advice because she did such a “great job” raising him.
He said: “She was like mother and father to me in one and she did a great job — I think so anyway!”
The ‘Banshees of Inisherin’ actor became “really good friends” with Robert Pattinson when they worked on ‘The Batman’ and he also counts Timothee Chalamet as a pal, but Barry, 31, admitted he still gets starstruck and is happy to be that way when he meets his heroes.
Recalling an encounter with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, he said: “When I met him I just couldn’t talk, I was like this [with my mouth open].
“Then he took me in for a hug and I was like, ‘Oh my God, the Rock is hugging me.’
“Getting to sit alongside these people you admire is crazy. I don’t want to lose that fanboy sense.”
Despite his success, the Oscar-nominated actor loves the fact his friends back in Ireland won’t let stardom go to his head.
He said: “One day you’re there with them in the youth club playing football, the next you’re on the fecking screen. I know how I’d react to that — ‘No way!’, ‘You think you’re so great!’
“In the pub they’re like, ‘Hollywood, this is on you,’ or, ‘Leave your Hollywood at the door.’
“But it’s not a bad thing, it’s just the Irish way of bringing you down.
“It’s humbling and I wouldn’t have it any other way. You need a bit of craic and charm and banter.”

Megan Fox: Sometimes relationships are a ‘war’

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Fox believes relationships can be a “war”.
The ‘Transformers’ actress – who has three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green and is engaged to Machine Gun Kelly – explored toxic bonds in her new poetry collection, ‘Pretty Boys Are Poisonous’, and despite the dark subject matter, she insisted “ugly” problems can be a way to grow and get stronger.
She told People magazine: “Relationships are complicated.
“For most of us it’s not a fairy tale. Relationships are not pretty. They are ugly. Sometimes they are a war.
“But through a wound enters an opportunity to grow and become a stronger more whole version of yourself.”
The 37-year-old beauty kept “the majority” of her work out of the book because she thought it would be too “unsettling” for readers.
She said: “I didn’t even bother sending the majority of what I wrote to my editor because they were too graphic and unsettling for others to read.”
But just writing the poems was more fulfilling than acting has ever been.
She explained: “Acting doesn’t really allow me to express myself fully in the way writing does because I’m reading someone else’s words under someone else’s direction.
“Poetry gives me a space to experience some catharsis through art.”
The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress didn’t only use her own life for inspiration for her poems.
She said: “It comes from a lot of places. Some of it is literal, while other parts are allegorical. Some poems contain a Grimm’s-fairy-tale-type element, and others serve the same purpose as memes in online culture.
“All of it “is something women can relate to.”
And Megan isn’t nervous about sending her personal writing into the public sphere.
She said: “I’ve been in the public eye for a long time and my career has been one long witch hunt. So nervous? No.
“I expect a mixture of admiration and vitriol from the public.”

Brian Cox won’t retire

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian Cox will never retire.
The 77-year-old actor is determined to keep pushing himself in his later years and is proud that his schedule is just as busy as ever.
Asked about the possibility of retirement, he told The Times’ Saturday Review supplement: “My mother used to say, ‘You’re a long time dead.’ ”
Pressed on if he will at least slow down, he added: “No, I’m going to get faster … I’m enjoying myself more now. The great thing about being old, and that’s why I recommend it to everybody, is that you don’t have the anxiety you have when you’re younger. What’s there to be anxious about?”
However, the ‘Succession’ star admitted his heavy workload has taken a toll and he gets a lot more “tired” than he used to.
He said: “I get tired, I get very tired … Yesterday I thought, ‘I’ll have a lie down,’ and I woke up two hours later. That’s never happened to me before. I thought: ‘Oh, you are tired, Brian. You’re quite exhausted.’ ”
Brian can next be seen on screen hosting ‘007: Road to a Million’ and he admitted he is happy to consider almost any job if the pay is right.
He said: “I don’t have any sense of grandeur — ‘I shouldn’t do this, I shouldn’t do that.’ I’ll do anything. Within reason.”
Asked why the game show in particular, he added: “I’ve no idea. I think they paid quite well.”
The Scottish star is worried that people take themselves too seriously these days.
He said: “I think people just take themselves far too f****** seriously. I really do think you have to have a sense of humour about your life.
“And as you get older, you get to my age, I look at my life and I just look at the ludicrousness of life.
“Because life is ludicrous as far as I’m concerned. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.”

Barbra Streisand hasn’t had a lot of ‘fun’

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand hasn’t “had much fun” in her life.
The 81-year-old singer-and-actress is keen to spend more time with her husband James Brolin and their extended family – including her son Jason, who she has with ex-husband Elliott Gould, and her spouse’s kids Jess, Molly, and Josh, who is dad to Trevor, Eden, Westlyn and Chapel – now she’s getting older.
She told the BBC: “I want to live life.
“I want to get in my husband’s truck and just wander, hopefully with the children somewhere near us. Life is fun for me when they come over. They love playing with the dogs and we have fun.
“I haven’t had much fun in my life, to tell you the truth. And I want to have more fun.”
The ‘Star Is Born’ actress is currently promoting her new memoir, ‘My Name is Barbra’, and explained she wrote the tome to exert “control” over her life.
She said: “It was the only way to have some control over my life.
“This is my legacy. I wrote my story. I don’t have to do any more interviews after this.”
In her book, Barbra reflected on her relationship with 83-year-old James, who she married in 1998, and believes they have lasted so long because they are not afraid to “work” on their marriage.
According to People magazine, she wrote: “I think the real reason our relationship has endured is that we’re both willing to work at it.
“Jim and I are very different. As he’s said to me, ‘You’re an expert at looking for what’s wrong, while I’m just happy to wake up in the morning.’ (He’ll live much longer than me. He keeps saying he’s going to live to be 100, and recently upped it to 110. He probably will, with that attitude.)”

Prince William ‘terrified’ in dragon boat race but was praised as ‘a natural’

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William was “terrified” during a dragon boat race but “didn’t miss a stroke.”
The Prince of Wales took part in a training session with the British Dragons Dragon Boat Racing Team on the Marina Reservoir during a visit to Singapore on Monday (06.11.23), and worked with 21 other rowers to beat the opposing team to the finish line.
However, during his team’s celebratory breakfast, the 41-year-old royal – who is in Singapore ahead of the presentation of the Earthshot Prize – admitted he was nervous he’d be to blame if things had gone wrong.
He said: “I was terrified if I got it wrong, I’d clash with the whole side and everyone would start going out of sync.
“All I care about is don’t get it wrong.
“We won… so I’ll take that. The High Commissioner planned it very well.”
He was also gracious and humble in victory, and said that he loved sports, and, refering to the captain, modestly insisted he was simply following “the key man in front of me.”
William then praised the drummer at the bow of the boat, and emphasised how important they were in securing their victory.
He said: “The drum was very good, a very good rhythm.”
His teammates were very complimentary of the royal, with captain Chris Bosher saying he was “super engaged from the moment he walked down the pontoon to the moment he finished.”
Chris continued: “He was excellent, he said ‘seriously guys I want us to win this’.
“After he was asking about the race calendar and we mentioned we’d got a race coming up in two weeks and really he should come back and we’ll give him a seat on the boat.
“He said it’s quite a refreshing break from the normal routine so this was right up his street.”
Dragon boat racing is a traditional sport that can trace its origins back to nearly two millennia ago, and has become hugely popular in Singapore, with other nations, including the UK, having rowing teams in the region.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Oppenheim won’t “rush into any type of serious relationship”.
The 46-year-old TV star is currently single, after splitting from Paris-based model Marie-Lou Nurk earlier this year, and Jason insists he isn’t in a rush to find love.
The ‘Selling Sunset’ star – who previously dated Chrishell Stause – told PEOPLE: “I was casually dating someone in Vancouver for a little while, but that doesn’t make a ton of sense being that we live in different countries and I tried that previously with Lou. So, I’m just single right now and not wanting to rush into any type of serious relationship honestly.”
Jason wants “some time to [himself]” before he looks for love once again.
He said: “I have had two very serious relationships in the last few years, and I think I just want some time to myself.”
Jason announced his split from Marie-Lou earlier this year.
The TV star took to social media to reveal that they called time on their romance after ten months together.
Jason – who is the president and founder of The Oppenheim Group, a real estate brokerage in Los Angeles – wrote on Instagram Story: “While we still love and care about each other very much the distance between us has proven to be too great a challenge to overcome.”
Jason also insisted that they will remain friends.

Prior to that, Marie-Lou admitted that they struggled to maintain a long-distance relationship.

You can still be stylish at 60, says Lisa Rinna

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Rinna derives confidence from her bold sense of style.
The TV star celebrated her 60th birthday in July, and that hasn’t stopped Lisa from taking risks with her fashion choices.
She told PEOPLE: “You don’t have to go away and be put out to pasture, as I say.
“You can still wear make-up and look beautiful. You can still try different looks with fashion and be cool. I think that’s what makes me feel the most confident.”
The Rinna Beauty founder has turned her focus towards the fashion world since quitting ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ in 2022.
Lisa shared: “It was really my leaving the show. About three weeks later, I got a call from my publicist, saying, ‘Kenzo wants you to go to Paris in four days. Would you be able to?’ and I went, ‘Yeah.’ I just said yes and I did it.”
Meanwhile, Lisa previously admitted that she “didn’t expect” the praise she received after quitting ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’.
The TV star confessed to being shocked by the public’s reaction to the news.
She told PEOPLE: “I didn’t expect that, I really didn’t.
“That is the thing that was unexpected to me the most about everything. I thought people would mostly be like, ‘Thank God we got her fired’ – and some were, don’t get me wrong. But the majority of it was love.”
Lisa – who has been married to Harry Hamlin since 1997 – actually feels flattered by the praise she’s received.
She joked: “Even the way people described my eight years on the show, with words like ‘legend, icon, G.O.A.T.’ – I said to Harry, ‘There are things you’d normally only get to hear if you died!’ And that’s how it felt – like I died, but I didn’t, and I got to see all the things that people would say about me at my funeral.”

The rapper – who was interviewed on the grid by Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle – also addressed one critic directly.
He said: “my vibe is “the worst” how? because someone put a microphone in my face essentially forcing me to do a random interview when i was just trying to enjoy an event? because car engines were so loud i couldnt hear him? please tell me more about why im the worst. (sic)”
During the interview, MGK was asked about his music career and his future plans.
He replied: “Errmm … my career … I don’t think about my career. I don’t think about it.”

Barbra Streisand contacted Tim Cook over pronunciation of her name

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand contacted the CEO of Apple to complain that the iPhone was pronouncing her name incorrectly.
The 81-year-old star – who is is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time – has revealed that she personally contacted Apple boss Tim Cook to ask for a change in the pronunciation of her name.
Barbra – who has also enjoyed huge success in the movie business – told the BBC: “My name isn’t spelled with a ‘Z’. It’s Strei-sand, like sand on the beach. How simple can you get?”
“And Tim Cook was so lovely. He had Siri change the pronunciation … I guess that’s one perk of fame!”
Barbra previously claimed that her attitude has “scared” a lot of men during her career.
The award-winning icon has always been extremely ambitious and opinionated, but Barbra conceded that her assertive approach has also alienated some people.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “I didn’t want to stay in my place.
“I started out wanting to be an actress and I got to acting through my singing. But then that wasn’t enough. I wanted to shape things,
“I wanted to write. I wanted to direct. I wanted to produce. I wanted to make decisions. And that got me into trouble.
“A woman in control: that scared men. It scared other women! They weren’t ready for it.”
Despite this, Barbra has always refused to bite her tongue and keep her opinions private.
She said: “That’s my problem. I would constantly get attacked; I still get attacked.
“I remember a line from George Bernard Shaw’s play ‘Saint Joan’: ‘He who tells too much truth shall surely be hanged.’
“I was making TV movies about subjects I loved, about gun control, gay rights, about Margarethe Cammermeyer, who was ousted from the army for telling the truth about her sexuality, and that didn’t make me more popular with a lot of people.
“But it’s what I believe in my heart is what decency is, and fairness. So that’s what I stand up for.”
