Jenna Dewan very happy with her new man

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenna Dewan is “very happy” with her new man.
The 37-year-old actress – who split from husband Channing Tatum earlier this year – has confessed she is content with new boyfriend Steve Kazee.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Jenna refused to say much about her new man, but did admit she is “very happy” at the moment.
Meanwhile, a source previously revealed Jenna is “having a lot of fun” with her new beau Steve and their relationship is getting more “serious”.
A source said: “Jenna is having a lot of fun with Steve. They’ve been dating for months out of the spotlight and it’s becoming more serious. They have a lot in common … She and Channing are both very respectful of each other, but she’s ready to move on with her life. She’s feeling hopeful about the future and her friends are also really excited to see her so happy.”
Jenna and Channing confirmed in April that they were splitting up.
Their statement released at the time read: “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now. There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision – just two best-friends seeing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”

Dua Lipa axes show due to ‘dangerous’ sandstorm

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa’s Abu Dhabi concert was axed due to a sandstorm.
The ‘Electricity’ hitmaker was due to perform at the Louvre in the capital city on Sunday night (11.11.18), but was forced to pull out at the last minute because of the “dangerous weather conditions”.
Promising her fans that she will return “very soon”, the 23-year-old star tweeted: “I am so sad to announce that due to bad weather conditions, tonight’s show at the Louvre in Abu Dhabi has been cancelled. I really wanted to sing and dance for you. Hopefully I will be back very soon (sic)”
Sharing the reason for postponing the sold-out show, the venue added to their profile on the micro-blogging site: “We regret to inform you that the Dua Lipa at Louvre Abu Dhabi has been postponed due to health and safety precautions arising from dangerous weather conditions. “Keeping fans safe remains our primary concern.”
The ‘New Rules’ singer wasn’t going to let the sandstorm stop her from showing off the glamorous “killer frock” she had chosen to wear for the planned performance.
Alongside a picture of the pop star stretched out on bed in the ensemble, completed with leather knee-high boots, she tweeted: “Sandstorms cancelled the show but I wont let it cancel this killer frock. (sic)”
And the ‘Blow Your Mind’ singer didn’t let it dampen her experience of the United Arab Emirates.
She also wrote: “Today was actually really special. I got to hang out in Abu Dhabi and see the Louvre here and I had a really fun soundcheck while prepping for the show. It’s just a shame the weather took a turn for the worst.”
Promoters Flash Entertainment confirmed they were working to reschedule the show “at a later date”, and asked those who purchased tickets to visit customerservice@ticketmaster.ae for more information.

Nicola Thorp ‘set for Coronation Street return’

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Thorp is set to return to ‘Coronation Street’ in 2019.
The 30-year-old star is expected to reprise her role as Nicola Rubenstein in the new year after previously managing to escape the clutches of her evil serial killer father Pat Phelan (Connor McIntyre), who was eventually stabbed to death following a reign of terror.
A show source said: “Everyone is thrilled Nicola is coming back. She was always really popular on set and has so many friends in the cast.
“Producers think it is the perfect time to bring her character back.
“Nicola jumped at the chance to do more. She loved her first year on ‘Corrie’ and wants to stay part of the family.”
Nicola swapped Weatherfield for Bristol with her and Gary Windass’ (Mikey North) son Zack following Pat’s death, but she will return to the cobbles to see Pat’s wife Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) and “ruffle some feathers” upon her comeback.
The source added to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Over Christmas we’ll learn Gary Windass has gone to visit Nicola in Bristol because baby Zack is poorly. And then in the new year Nicola returns to Weatherfield to see Eileen.
“This doesn’t go down well with everyone – her return certainly ruffles a few feathers.
“The hope is for Nicola to keep coming and going so her storylines continue to be exciting.”
Nicola was last seen on the cobbles in mid-June, and just a few weeks later her co-star Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor) hinted her fellow ‘Corrie’ actress wouldn’t be away from Weatherfield for long.
She said: “It was announced recently that Nicola Thorp is leaving the soap. I’m sure it’s not the last we’ve seen of her – she’s a great actress.”
Nicola admitted at the time she was “sad” to say goodbye to her co-stars.
She said: “Hey everyone, I just wanted to say I’ve had the most incredible year here working at Corrie.
“To be involved in Phelan’s demise has been an absolute treat, and I hope you’ve all been enjoying it as much as I have enjoyed filming it.
“I’ve got wonderful friends, a family that I’ve made here, and I’ll be really, really sad to say goodbye for now.
“Thanks for having me, and keep on watching. You’ve been the most incredible fans that anyone can ever ask for, so thank you.”

Bear Grylls reveals anxiety battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Bear Grylls is kept awake at night by crippling anxiety.
The 44-year-old adventurer, who hosts Channel 4 survival show ‘The Island’ – which sees participants placed alone on remote Pacific islands as a test of their survival skills – has admitted that some of the deadly challenges he’s faced over the years, which left him close to death “over 100 times”, have had a long-lasting impact on his mental health.
Admitting he’s “lucky to be alive”, he said: “I do suffer anxiety a lot and lie awake at night if I am nervous.
“I could have died over 100 times already. I should be dead.
“Nowadays my overriding thoughts are gratitude to be alive. I feel so lucky. There’s been incidents over the years in the wilds which could and should have finished me off.”
Bear – who has sons Marmaduke, 12, Jesse, 15, and Huckleberry, nine, with wife Shara – believes his anxiety is worse now as he has a family to think about.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: “I probably get more nervous nowadays than I ever used to when I was younger. Life has made me more fragile. Maybe I have more to lose now.”
The former SAS servicemen previously revealed some of the scariest moments of his career, including breaking his back in a parachuting accident in 1996, and a near-death experience climbing Mount Everest, two years later.
He said previously: “One of the darkest times for me was when I broke my back in a freefall parachuting accident in southern Africa.”
And on surviving his climb to Everest’s “Death Zone”, he recalled: “It was -38 degrees and I felt like death. Blinding migraine, dehydrated, hungry, frozen and above all scared deep in the pit of my stomach. It was the waiting.
“The tension of knowing that ahead is the final 24-hour climb into the Death Zone where the level of fatigue, pain and risk becomes frighteningly high. “One in six climbers at that stage were losing their lives, and that plays on your mind as you wait.”
When Bear is “in-the-moment”, all of his anxiety and nerves are disguised by adrenaline.
He added: “I have always hated that feeling of nerves. I just want to begin – then I know it all becomes a process as you lose yourself (and your fear) in the adrenalin of the moment.”

Declan Donnelly didn’t want a man to replace Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Declan Donnelly didn’t want Ant McPartlin to be replaced with a man on ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here’.
Ant is taking some time away from the spotlight to focus on his sobriety – meaning he will miss hosting this year’s series of the jungle show – and now Dec has revealed why he opted for Holly Willoughby to stand in as presenter.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: “As always I’m incredibly excited to be heading to Oz for I’m A Celebrity. It is obviously tinged with sadness that Ant won’t be coming this year, I’m going to really miss him, but it’s only for one series and he’ll be back stronger next year. I didn’t want to host this series with another guy so Holly was top of my list.”
Meanwhile, Ant helped choose Holly as his replacement on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
She said: “We’ve spoken and he’s happy – he was part of the decision that I’d do it. He just needs to look after himself, that’s the most important thing. He knows I’ll look after the show and keep it warm for him … On ‘I’m A Celebrity…’ it’s important to have chemistry and to have a friendship as a starting point you can grow from. It’s that unspoken thing: you know how the other person speaks, how their sentences are going to end. That helps a lot. It’s definitely bittersweet. ‘I’m A Celebrity..’ is a huge show but nobody wanted to have to be asked to do it. It’s not nice for anyone.”

Lily Collins eyes movie with Sandra Bullock

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins wants to star in ‘Ocean’s 9’ with Sandra Bullock.
The 29-year-old actress would love to work alongside the ‘Miss Congeniality’ star again, after the duo worked together on 2009’s ‘The Blind Side’.
She said: “I mean I would love to do a comedy with Sandy. I am available! Ocean, land, sky, whatever you want, I am in!”
And Lily would also love to work with Meryl Streep.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I don’t think between now and March I can do a film with Meryl Streep. I don’t think that’s possible, so I am going to put it on my list for the next 30. But I feel very fortunate to be where I am at right now, and to keep doing what I am doing, so hopefully my 30th birthday is just something I will always remember.”
Meanwhile, Lily previously revealed she gets career advice from Sandra.
She said: “Sandra and I have kept in touch over the years. I would ask her, ‘Tell me your tricks, tell me everything.’ Some of the women I admire – their most amazing, pivotal roles weren’t until their thirties. Success is all about range and longevity. It doesn’t have to all happen at the drop of a hat.”
And Lily is “a girl’s girl”, according to her ‘Baby Driver’ co-star Eiza Gonzalez.
She said: “I love Lily but it was sad because we only had one scene together but we were very supportive of each other. She’s such a beautiful human being, not only so talented but amazing and such a down to earth girl and, to be honest, a girls girl – and to find those are one in a million.”

Spike Lee wants to helm a musical

OHMYGOSSIP — Spike Lee wants to direct a musical.
The 61-year-old Hollywood legend – who has helmed documentaries about Michael Jackson and Pavarotti – has worked on almost every genre possible, but making a “straight out singing and dancing” movie is still on his bucket list.
He told CinemaBlend.com: “Oh yeah. I’m going to do a musical one day, for sure.
“I mean, there are many musical elements in my films already, but this one I want to do straight out singing and dancing, beginning-to-end high-stepping, wailing musical.”
Spike is no stranger to combining music with film.
The ‘Malcolm X’ helmer’s most recent project saw him direct a music video for Prince’s previously unreleased track ‘Mary Don’t You Weep’.
The song features during the end credits of Spike’s movie, ‘BlacKkKlansman’, and the filmmaker decided to create a video that features scenes and stills from the film.
The clip includes real-life hero Ron Stallworth – who is played by actor John David Washington – fighting for civil rights, and Topher Grace as the former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke.
It ends with a photo of Spike – who directed the singer’s ‘Money Don’t Matter 2 Night’ video in 1992 – and Prince sitting courtside at a basketball game in 1998.
Meanwhile, the legendary director previously revealed how Prince’s unreleased track came to feature in his movie.
He shared: “I knew that I needed an end-credits song. I’ve become very close with [Prince estate advisor] Troy Carter, one of the executives at Spotify.
“So I invited Troy to a private screening. And he said, ‘Spike, I got the song.’ And that was ‘Mary Don’t You Weep,’ which had been recorded on a cassette in the mid-’80s.”
Spike, 61, believes the song is the perfect fit for his movie.
He said: “Prince wanted me to have that song. I don’t care what nobody says. My brother Prince wanted me to have that song. For this film. There’s no other explanation to me.
“This cassette is in the back of the vaults. In Paisley Park. And all of a sudden, out of nowhere, it’s discovered? Nah-uh. That ain’t accident.”

Michael Buble loves music too much to retire

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble loves music too much to retire.
The ‘Home’ hitmaker insists he has no plans to quit music and thinks it is “ridiculous” that anyone would think he would be giving up music as it makes him so happy.
When asked by ‘X Factor’ host Dermot O’Leary if he was retiring, he said: “That’s ridiculous. Dude I can’t stop this, I love this too much. What? No way, I’m not going anywhere!”
Michael had previously seemingly revealed he was “retiring” from music but his publicist later revealed the comment he made was a sarcastic one.
He said: “I don’t have the stomach for it any more. The celebrity narcissism. This is my last interview. I’m retiring. I’ve made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top. I decided I’ll never read my name again in print, never read a review, and I never have. I decided I’d never use social media again, and I never have … Why are we here? Is this all there is? Because if this is all there is, there has to be something bigger. It’s been such a difficult exercise. But my whole being’s changed. My perception of life. I don’t know if I can even get through this conversation without crying. And I’ve never lost control of my emotions in public.”
Michael took some time away from the spotlight after his son was diagnosed with cancer and he previously admitted the diagnosis changed his “perception of life” and he wanted to take time to focus on his family.

She then shared links to a number of organisations offering aid and assistance to those affected.
The ‘Malibu’ hitmaker isn’t the only star to have lost her home in the fires, which have been raging since Thursday (08.11.18).
Robin Thicke and April Love Geary’s house burned down over the weekend, shortly after they were evacuated from the property.
April took to her Instagram Story on Saturday (11.11.18) to share a photo of the front gate of their destroyed house and, alongside a crying emoji, wrote: “Our house is gone.”
She had previously shared a picture of the thick smoke from the fire and wrote “Our house is in there” and later confirmed their property was “up in flames”.

Jamie Foxx’s family evacuated during California wildfires

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Foxx’s family have been evacuated from their home due to the California wildfires.
The 50-year-old star – who has daughters Corinne, 24, and Annalise, nine, from previous relationships – is grateful his loved ones are “safe” because the huge blaze has already claimed some lives, while California is also grieving following a mass shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill in his Thousand Oaks neighbourhood which claimed the lives of 12 people.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We’re all affected [in California.] We had to evacuate, so my kids and my family are in hotels but they’re safe.
“But at least 25 people lost their lives, a lot of people are hurting in my neighborhood in Thousand Oaks, and of course, you know, the shootings.”
Jamie urged people to try to see the best in one other, rather than bringing hatred into an already difficult situation for so many.
He explained: “So, I can’t tell people enough, in a world right now where it’s sort of crazy times to just look for the good in people. Stop looking for the bad in people.
“And just pray for the kids, man, pray for everybody in California. People are losing their whole existence. we were fortunate enough to be able to move but a lot of people aren’t, so just god bless all.”
His comments come after the Kardashian family dedicated their E! People’s Choice Award to the first responders who continue to work “tirelessly” during the wildfires.
Kim Kardahian West spoke on stage as she was joined by family members – Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian – at the ceremony as they collected the prize for Reality Show of 2018 for ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’.
During the acceptance speech, Kim, 38, said: “To all of the firefighters, the law enforcement and the first responders” who have worked tirelessly.
“We really, truly appreciate what you have done for all of us.
“So please let’s continue to pray for everyone’s safety. Thank you.”
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney were forced to evacuate their homes as the deadly wildfires swept through Calabasas and nearby areas, while Miley Cyrus has revealed she has lost her home to the blaze.

Kym Marsh plans new career move after Samia Longchambon inspiration

OHMYGOSSIP — Kym Marsh is planning to learn another a skill after being inspired by her ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Samia Longchambon.
The 42-year-old actress – who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap – has been impressed with her fellow cobbles resident’s new career direction to become a qualified reflexologist, so much so she is looking forward to being one of the 36-year-old star’s (Maria Connor) guinea pigs.
She said: “Samia has recently trained in reflexology and has said she’d love to try it out on some of the ‘Corrie’ stars, which I’m definitely up for.
“I’m really impressed that she’s retrained in something so different to acting; it’s always good to add another string to your bow.
“I’d love to learn another skill, but right now I have no idea what I’d want to do.”
Kym has a bit of spare time to think about her new career direction after admitting her last two weeks on the cobbles have been “quiet”.
She said: “I’ve had another quiet week at work with only a few scenes to film, so I’ve been using my time to catch up on some life admin and spend time with the kids.”
Kym is looking forward to watching Samia’s husband, ‘Dancing on Ice’ pro skater Sylvain Longchambon, in action on the programme in the new year, because he is partnered up with her ‘Corrie’ co-star Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby).
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: “The lovely Jane Danson has been partnered with Sylvain Longchambon for the new series of ‘Dancing on Ice’, and I’m very happy about it.
“Understandably, Jane has been quite nervous but she’s in safe hands with Sylvain and I know she’s made up that he’s her partner.
“She knows Sylvain through his wife Samia, our co-star on ‘Corrie’, and I know they get on well so it’ll be great to see them on the ice.”

Katherine Langford joins Knives Out

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Langford has joined the cast of ‘Knives Out’.
The ’13 Reasons Why’ is among a host of new additions, including Riki Lindhome, Raúl Castillo and Edi Patteron, to Rian Johnson’s star-studded murder mystery, joining the likes of Daniel Craig, who will play a detective named Benoit Blanc, who is tasked with solving the case at the heart of the story.
Don Johnson is also involved in the project, which has been described as a classic whodunnit with a modern twist, as are
Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield and Ana De Armas.
Meanwhile, director Rian previously revealed that he and his long-time producing partner Ram Bergman were looking forward to working with Daniel and were grateful the ‘James Bond’ star had been able to find a “small window” in his schedule to shoot the movie.
He said: “I have been a huge fan and always wanted to work with him and as I worked on the script, trying to get it right, Ram and I were wringing our hands over who could be the detective.
“Then, serendipitously, we heard Daniel might have a small window, and it worked out. He’s an actor of extraordinary range, and we are looking forward to the fun of finding that modern detective, and collaborating with Daniel on creating a new ‘Poirot’.”
Details of the movie are being kept tightly under wraps, but Media Rights Capital, who own the world rights to the project, recently promised it will be a “fun and inventive” story.
Co-presidents of film Brye Adlet and Jonathan Golfman said in a statement: “We have been massive fans of Rian and Ram [Bergman, co-producer]’s since we saw ‘Brick’ and have been pursuing them ever since.
“‘Knives Out’ is such a fun, inventive and entertaining film and we are thrilled to partner with Rian, Ram and Daniel on this exciting, original project.”

Ed Speleers won’t be in Downton film

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Speleers “didn’t get the call” to be involved in the ‘Downton Abbey’ movie.
The 30-year-old actor appeared as Jimmy Kent in the period drama but left after the 2014 Christmas special when his footman alter ego was fired after being caught in bed with Lady Anstruther (Anna Chancellor) and he isn’t upset not to have been asked to appear in the upcoming big screen spin-off because he doesn’t think it would be “right” for his character to return.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘Sunday Brunch’, he said: “I didn’t get the call, unfortunately.
“To be fair, I’m doing [stage show] ‘Rain Man’ so I wasn’t able to do it. I don’t think it would be right for my character to come back anyway.”
Ed insisted he has no hard feelings as working on ‘Downton’ was an “amazing gig” for him “on both a personal and a professional level”.
Ed’s comments come after Lily James previously confirmed she wouldn’t be back as Lady Rose MacClare because it would seem “far-fetched” to involve her alter ego.
She explained: “I’m sadly not, but I’m so excited for it — I’m going to be front row.
“My character Rose moved off to New York, so it would be farfetched to bring her back.
“I would have loved to have come back for a scene, but for a movie it can’t be like a Christmas special and it needs to be a focused storyline. There was no space for Rose.”
Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Joanne Froggatt, Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern and Dame Maggie Smith will all be reprising their roles for the film, while new additions to the cast include Imelda Staunton, Geraldine James, Simon Jones, David Haig, Tuppence Middleton, Kate Philips and Stephen Campbell Moore.
The ‘Downton Abbey’ movie is due for release in September 2019.

Victoria Beckham is still part of Spice Girls

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham is still part of the Spice Girls.
The fashion designer decided not to be part of the hugely popular group’s upcoming reunion tour, but her bandmates – who told her about their plans to make sure she didn’t feel left out – have insisted she’s still part of their music family.
Geri Horner told The Sun newspaper: “The five of us have always had this thing where we support each other on and off the stage.
“We did speak to her and meet up with her and we said, ‘Look, you’re in the band, on and off the stage it doesn’t matter’. And she was just really supportive.
“In life you get to a point where you want everybody to be happy and feel comfortable and things change, and she was just really positive.”
While Mel B insisted she is still hoping for a full reunion one day, Mel C commented on the idea Victoria is getting paid a lot of money for the comeback despite not being part of it.
She responded: “Well, you know, that’s debatable, but the thing is we’re very proud of Victoria.
“She works incredibly hard and what she’s achieved is amazing and she will always be a Spice Girl.”
While the star hasn’t signed on for the UK stadium tour in 2019, she did send her best wishes to the band – completed by Emma Bunton – following their recent announcement.
She previously said: “Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour.
“I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans — past and present — are going to have a wonderful time.”

Jonas Blue praises Louisa Jonas

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonas Blue was blown away by Louisa Johnson’s talent in the studio.
The superstar producer has been working with the former ‘X Factor’ winner – who triumphed in 2015 – on her big comeback in a bid to help re-launch her career, and he has heaped praise on her vocal skills.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, he said: “I have worked with Louisa, she’s the most incredibly talented singer. I honestly got chills when she came in the studio and she messaged me last week about getting some more studio time together, so we’ll do that.
“Her voice is incredible but it is a hard business, it really i, you have to make sure you find your sound and you’re able to stick to it, and people believe it.
“Honestly, I on’t really know how to explain it but it is really hard, but she deserves so much success.”
While the 20-year-old star’s recent single ‘Yes’ failed to chart in the UK Top 40, Jonas has backed her to rise back up the rankings in the future.
He added: “There’s people like Nina Nesbitt who got dropped from her label a few years ago and she’s come back, she’s re-signed and she’s smashing it! It changes all the time and Louisa will be back smashing it soon.”
His comments come after he released his debut album ‘Blue’ on Friday (09.11.18), which includes hits featuring the lies of JP Cooper, Joe Jonas and Liam Panye.
Now, Jonas has admitted he would love to work with Liam’s former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik, and he doesn’t think it would cause any issues.
