OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Roberts has credited Reese Witherspoon with helping her to feel “confident” about her career.
The 27-year-old actress praised Reese for her work on ‘Big Little Lies’ – which she stars in as Madeline Martha Mackenzie, and also executive produces – because she says that the star has helped her realise that she can “direct, produce and star in a show” at the same time, and isn’t limited in what she can achieve.
She said: “I think TV’s biggest female trailblazer is Reese Witherspoon – I’ve loved her ever since I was a kid, just for her acting. But what she’s done with ‘Big Little Lies’ … She’s a powerhouse. It’s really amazing to see what’s possible now. When I was younger, I never thought I could direct, produce and star in a show, because I didn’t see it. Now it’s being done and it really makes me feel confident in the places I can go in my career.”
And the ‘American Horror Story’ star also looks up to her co-star Sarah Paulson, who she says is the most “amazing” person to turn to.
She added: “In the ‘American Horror Story’ cast, I’d turn to Sarah Paulson for life advice. She is the smartest, coolest, funniest person I know. I go to her for fashion advice, too; I see her and I’m like, “Just stop. You’re too amazing.” She’s also great to go partying with, plus Gabourey [Sidibe] – she’s the most fun.”
Emma also credits children’s television network Nickelodeon with helping kick-start her career, as she says that as a child she was “obsessed” with the shows on the channel and always dreamed of having her own – which she landed aged 12 with her role in ‘Unfabulous’.
Speaking to PorterEdit for their Women in TV issue, she said: “Growing up, I was obsessed with all shows Nickelodeon – ‘Clarissa Explains It All’, ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’ … I remember saying to my mom, ‘I want my own show on Nickelodeon one day,’ and she was like, ‘That’s a great dream to have.’ Then when I was 12, I auditioned for a Nickelodeon show [‘Unfabulous’] and my childhood dream came true.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Goldblum is “glad” he waited until later in life to have children.
The 66-year-old actor has two sons – Charlie, three, and River, 19 months – with his wife Emilie Livingston, and has said he’s pleased he waited until he was older to have his brood, because he can “enjoy” fatherhood more now that he’s less “self involved” than he used to be.
He said: “I am glad I didn’t have kids until now really. I don’t know that I was equipped and I was busy and probably more self involved than I’m possibly capable of now, we’ll see. I do enjoy my kids now.”
The ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ star admits it was Emilie’s idea to start a family, and says that although he was apprehensive about the idea at first, a trip to his therapist made him realise he was actually “wildly enthusiastic” about the prospect of fatherhood.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ – which airs on Saturday (17.11.18) – he said: “After a couple of years during a sweet, sweet moment, she said, ‘Jeez, this is going so well, what if we had a baby?’ and I had flirted with the idea before and was glad that I hadn’t and had confirmed to myself that I wasn’t going to but because she said it, and because of what was going on between her and I, I thought, this is a serious and interesting proposition. And it wasn’t until a year later when we went to my therapist and excavated and brought to the surface all of my considerations that I became clear and wildly enthusiastic about it.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Independence Day’ star recently revealed he’d love to add a girl to his brood, but doesn’t think his 35-year-old spouse is as keen.
He admitted: “I’d love a little girl. The other week Emilie said, ‘Gee, I’d like to see you with a girl.’ But I don’t think she really wants it. I think she’s happy to stop with these two.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber is feeling “unsettled” but not “unhappy” in his new life with Hailey Baldwin.
The 24-year-old pop megastar is believed to have tied the knot with Hailey in a secret wedding in September, and although he’s “very happy” with their romance, he’s said to be feeling slightly uneasy, as he’s now wondering what he has left to accomplish after having “achieved so much at a very young age.”
A source said: “I wouldn’t say he’s unhappy, but he’s unsettled. He is in love with Hailey and he’s very happy about that. He knows he has achieved so much at a very young age. But I’ve seen this before, he’s left with the feeling of ‘is this all there is?'”
But the source insists their whirlwind romance is not “keeping” the ‘Love Yourself’ hitmaker from working.
They added to People magazine: “It’s a very mature thing to do. But of course, there are people who are blaming her as if she is keeping him from working.”
It comes after it was previously claimed that Justin is on a “season of self-discovery” following his marriage to 21-year-old Hailey.
An insider said: “He’s happy and content. He is in love with Hailey. She encourages him to do whatever he wants to do, and is encouraging him in this season of self-discovery.”
Right now, the ‘Sorry’ is said to be “searching for his purpose”.
The source said: “He’s thinking, ‘Hey, maybe it’s not music. Maybe there are other things I should be doing.’ So while he’s figuring it out, the last thing he needs is people asking him when he’s going back into the studio.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West thinks Tristan Thompson is only sorry for his cheating scandal because he is “embarrassed that he looks stupid”.
The NBA star was spotted getting close to another woman back in April just days before his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian gave birth to their daughter True, and Khloe’s sister Kim believes he only showed remorse for his actions when the bad publicity started “affecting his job”.
Speaking to her mother Kris and cousin Cici Bussey on Sunday’s (18.11.18) episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, Kim said: “I told him, ‘I think you’re more remorseful because it’s affecting your job.’ I think he’s more embarrassed that he looks stupid ’cause the public and booing him. And I think it’s more of that than anything and I told him that.”
Tristan’s apology took place on the episode but was done in a private talk off-camera, where Kim, 38, says the family “all expressed exactly how we felt.”
She then explained to cameras: “I think the convo was going OK at the beginning and then it got heated, and I don’t know, it just kinda took a left turn.
“Then he got mad because my mom was like, ‘You can make your decision. If you want to live this life of dating these Instagram whores and doing your thing, live that life.’ Mom’s like, ‘If this doesn’t work out with you guys, we’re always going to rise up.’
“Since he is the father of Khloe’s baby, I definitely wanted to take the time to hear what he had to say.”
Khloe, 34, decided to stay with Tristan following the scandal, but is now said to be “not defining” her relationship with him and referring to him only as “True’s dad”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessie J lent her support to Channing Tatum during the opening night of his ‘Magic Mike Live’ show in London on Saturday (10.11.18).
The 30-year-old singer – who recently started dating the Hollywood hunk – posted a photograph from the event at the Hippodrome Casino on her Instagram Story, congratulating her new boyfriend on the show’s success.
Jessie wrote: “Congratulations @channingtatum what a show… Ladies and Gentlemen you don’t want to miss this. (sic)”
The singer’s appearance at the event in London came shortly after Channing and his five-year-old daughter Everly attended a performance by Jessie in Los Angeles earlier this month.
The 38-year-old actor and actress Jenna Dewan announced they’d decided to split in April this year, having been married since 2009.

OHMYGOSSIP — Leonardo DiCaprio’s birthday bash in Beverly Hills attracted a star-studded crowd on Friday night (09.11.18).
The Academy Award-winning actor – who officially turns 44 on Sunday (11.11.18) – was the focus of attention at the Spring Place members-only club, where the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Kate Beckinsale, Rita Ora, FKA twigs, G-Eazy and Naomi Campbell all turned out to support the Hollywood icon.
In total, around 500 people were invited to the birthday party, according to E! News, which reported that DiCaprio also threw a smaller birthday dinner for 50 guests, one of whom included TV star Oprah Winfrey.
Guests at the party were served a cake with the words “L 44th” written across it in blue frosting.
DiCaprio is now regarded as one of the world’s most bankable movie stars, but the actor previously admitted he still feels like an outsider in Hollywood.
He explained: “I think I will always feel like an outsider.
“Marty [Scorsese] was the same. He came from the streets of New York and didn’t feel like he belonged in Hollywood. I can remember getting rejected systematically by casting directors as a young kid.
“I felt like the biggest outsider there ever was; that I’d never belong in that club. I had this idea that one day they reach out, bless you and say: ‘You are now part of this elite, you are the chosen one.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Camille Grammer’s home has been burnt down in the California wildfires.
The 50-year-old TV star – who is best-known for her appearances in ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ – has taken to her Instagram account to post an aerial shot of her home in in Malibu, which has been destroyed by the Woolsey Canyon wildfire.
Camille captioned the image: “Sadly my house couldn’t be saved.
“The courageous firefighters were able to save my cars and personal items recovered from my home. I thanked the fire captain and his team of firemen for all of their hard work. He took the time to explain what happened and I’m grateful for all of their hard work trying to save my home. (sic)”
In spite of the devastation, Camille still considers herself to be fortunate that she’s escaped from the wildfires unharmed.
The TV star wrote: “Sad we lost our home but grateful that my family is safe. Luckily we quickly evacuated our house yesterday after a patrol car drove up the street announcing mandatory evacuations. I’m grateful for my lovely neighbors and friends who kept me informed and for their help this evening. (sic)”
A host of big-name stars have been tweeting about the wildfires over recent days, including rapper Iggy Azalea, who admitted to being fearful that her house would be destroyed.
She said: “Iam genuinely concerned about my home burning down it’s right on the canyon in calabasas and I can’t get home to any of my things right now. (sic)”
But the Australian star later tweeted: “My house is safe guys, thanks for everyone who sent me updates yesterday on the fire.
Feeling very thankful to have a home to go back to today. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny John-Jules has become the seventh celebrity to leave this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 58-year-old actor exited the BBC show after losing the dreaded dance-off to retired cricket star Graeme Swann, but Danny – whose professional partner was Amy Dowden – still relished his time on ‘Strictly’.
The ‘Red Dwarf’ star said: “It’s been a great experience and I’m just so unhappy I didn’t get Amy to where she needed to be. And I just think that as I said before, everything I have done on this show is because of Amy.
“It was her training, her choreography that got me here. I can only look as good as her dancing and you know, she is great, and I hope that her career goes up and onwards as she deserves.”
Amy was similarly enthusiastic about her time on this year’s show, praising the actor’s consistent performances.
She said: “Do you know Danny told me day one that he has been a frustrated song and dance man. And I just think it’s lovely that the nation has been able to see your talent and to see you back out there performing again, so thank you for delivering such amazing performances week in, week out.”
Danny’s fate was ultimately sealed by Head Judge Shirley Ballas, who explained that Graeme and his professional partner Oti Mabuse produced the more impressive performance in the dance off.
She shared: “Both couples were really wonderful. I think they both put the best step forward but with a more flawless performance, more energy packed, with more excitement I’m going to go with Graeme and Oti.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Giovanni Spano and Misunderstood have been eliminated from ‘The X Factor’.
The 33-year-old singer has seen his dream of winning the ITV show come to an early end after he was defeated in the dreaded sing-off by Acacia and Aaliyah.
Ultimately, the fate of the two acts was sealed by Simon Cowell, who chose to save Acacia and Aaliyah rather than retain Giovanni for another week.
Giovanni responded to the disappointing news by saying how much he’d enjoyed his time on ‘The X Factor’, while he also pledged he would continue to follow his dreams.
Earlier in the night, the much-fancied duo of Misunderstood were also eliminated from the competition.
Following their exit, Misunderstood – which consists of friends Stephan Benson and Jeffery Okyere – thanked their mentor Robbie Williams for his support, and also promised to continue to pursue their own musical ambitions.
Dermot O’Leary, the show’s host, was shocked by the news of their exit, admitting: “Wow. No-one was expecting that.”
And Nile Rodgers – who was standing in for Robbie this week – was similarly surprised by Misunderstood’s early elimination.
Nile said: “They’re amazing – I’m honestly like blown away.”
Meanwhile, fellow judge Ayda Field admitted to being nervous about having to reveal the news to Robbie, her husband.
She shared: “I mean, no-one was expecting that. It’s going to be a really awkward Skype chat.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pippa Middleton has reportedly named her son Arthur Michael William Matthews.
The 35-year-old sister of the Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her first child with husband James Matthews at St Mary’s Hospital in London last month, and according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper, the couple have chosen to name their son Arthur Michael William Matthews.
The name Michael is reportedly a tribute to Pippa’s father and her husband’s younger brother, who died in 1999 while he was climbing Mount Everest.
The couple’s baby arrived a matter of hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex – who tied the knot at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May – announced they were also expecting their first child.
Pippa first confirmed she was pregnant in June, but also revealed her determination to stay as active as possible.
The author – who rose to worldwide attention following her sister’s wedding in 2011 – revealed: “I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal.
“When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant I realised I needed to adjust my four- to five-day-a-week routine. I’ve noticed my body change but through exercise I feel it’s being strengthened.
“I’m fanatical about sport and have looked at loads of books and websites on exercise during pregnancy but have been disappointed by the limited technical information what you can and can’t do.
“This being my first pregnancy, I had so many questions I felt were still unanswered. I wanted to know things like, would I strain if I served in tennis, are strokes of swimming safe, can I still do a normal yoga class if I avoided certain positions? Could I still work my abs?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Perry was rushed to hospital after he experienced shortness of breath during a Billy Joel show on Saturday night (10.11.18).
The 68-year-old Aerosmith star was treated backstage by paramedics at Madison Square Garden before he was taken to hospital, where he is said to be “alert”.
A rep for the star told People: “Following a guest performance during Billy Joel’s show last night at Madison Square Garden, Joe Perry experienced shortness of breath and was treated backstage by paramedics who gave the guitarist oxygen and used a tracheal tube to clear his airway before taking him to a hospital.”
Perry remains in hospital but is “alert” and responsive.
The statement added that the Aerosmith musician “will be unable to appear today at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Florida and apologises to those attending”.
Perry is expected to return to the road later this month, although a specific date has not yet been revealed.
News of Joe’s health concerns come shortly after his band announced an 18-date Las Vegas residency entitled ‘Deuces Are Wild’ for April 2019.
The ‘Dream On’ hitmakers – which also includes Steven Tyler, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer – announced they will kick off their “hot, sexy rock and roll” shows on April 6 at the Park Theater at the new Park MGM venue.
Teasing their “epic” plans, frontman Steven and Joe said: “We are going to bring hot, sexy rock and roll to Vegas!
“The residency allows us to take 50 years of performing experience and create a one-of-a-kind show with the best music, best production design, best sound, in a world-class state of the art venue. These shows will be epic!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gerard Butler says his Malibu home is now “half gone” because of the damage caused by the California wildfires.
The 48-year-old actor has taken to his Instagram account to reveal the extent of the devastation caused by the fires, posting a photograph of himself stood in front of the shell of his Malibu home.
Gerard captioned the dramatic image: “Returned to my house in Malibu after evacuating. Heartbreaking time across California. Inspired as ever by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters. Thank you @LosAngelesFireDepartment. If you can, support these brave men and women at SupportLAFD.org. (sic)”
Gerard is one of a number of big-name stars who has suffered at the hands of the wildfires.
But movie director Guillermo del Toro considers himself fortunate that the fires didn’t cause even more damage to his property, which also serves as a shrine to horror movie history and is known as Bleak House.
The acclaimed filmmaker wrote on Twitter: “Just an update: Bleak House (I am told this morning) seems to be fine. Just minor smoke damage. I am aware about how much this fire has taken, how much has been lost- this is humbling and a blessing. (sic)”
Elsewhere, Jessica Simpson – who has kids Maxwell, six, and Ace, five, and is currently pregnant with her third child – has been evacuated from her family home.
She wrote on Instagram: “Praying for everyone in California affected by these terrible fires. We have been evacuated for almost 48hrs now and need the angels to keep surrounding our home. Thank you to the brave firefighters who have protected our home so far. [praying emoji] (sic)”

The 63-year-old reality TV star has heaped praise on the firefighters who have been trying to tackle the California wildfires over recent days, and Kris has asked her fans to follow her lead in donating to the foundation.
In a series of tweets, she wrote: “We spent yesterday evacuating our homes and I want to take a moment to thank all of the incredibly brave firefighters, servicemen, first responders, volunteers and all of those who are working tirelessly to protect our lives and our homes.
“We are so appreciative of your bravery and everything you’re doing for us. I’m praying for everyone’s safety. #thankful #gratitude #woolseyfire (sic)”
Kris then asked her followers to show their support for the foundation, which she has already donated to.
She said: “Please pray for those affected by the fires and to those who are fighting to keep everyone safe! Join me in donating to the CA Fire Foundation to help the firefighters who are working to rescue people and battle the fires. Donate today to @CAFireFound at (sic)”
Kris’ daughter Kourtney Kardashian has also donated to the foundation and has encouraged her Twitter followers to do the same.

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have reportedly hired an Indian palace for their wedding.
The couple – who got engaged earlier this year – are set to tie the knot in a traditional Indian ceremony on December 1, and have pulled out all the stops by booking the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace, in Jodhpur, for their big day, which will follow a Christian ceremony.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “There are several events leading up to the wedding, including a Christian ceremony, which will all be in India.
“They will culminate with the Indian wedding on December 1 at the palace, where they will tie the knot under a traditional four-pillar structure, a mandap.
“There is a mehndi event planned, where they will be decorated with henna body art, among other traditional Hindi pre-wedding events.”
It’s also believed the ‘Jealous’ hitmaker will be dressed in ivory, Priyanka in red and her bridesmaids will don Ralph Lauren ensembles in a nod to the designer clothing the pair wore when they made their red carpet debut in 2017.
The source added: “Nick will wear ivory and Priyanka will be in red, while the bridesmaids will wear Ralph Lauren outfits for the Christian wedding, because the couple wore the brand at their first public appearance together at the Met Gala last year.
“The festivities begin in the last week of November. They’re relishing every minute.”

The ‘Goosebumps’ hitmaker welcomed daughter Stormi into the world nine months ago with his partner Kylie Jenner and he admits that he never realised “he could love something so hard”.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he said: “That is a fact, yeah. She held it down because it was so scary. She walked me through the whole process. There’s this thing called the placenta, that I’ve just been hearing about? Oh my god. So, I was fearful of all that. But I cut the umbilical cord. But, yeah, [Kris] held it down. Mama KJ, she’s the best … Going into it, I was nervous and scared, because we’re both young. But, you know, when you first hold a baby in your arms, it’s uncontrollable. I never thought I could just love something so hard, ya know? It’s crazy.”
Meanwhile, Kylie previously revealed she’d love another child but insists she “definitely isn’t ready” for another baby just yet.
She said: “I want another baby, but when is the question, and I’m definitely not ready right this second. When I do, I would love to share more of that with you guys.”
Despite this, Kylie was happy to admit that she’d love to have another daughter with Travis.
Discussing potential baby names, she explained: “I haven’t found anything I love love, but I definitely want another girl, hopefully. And I want her to have a feminine name.”
And the star recently revealed that she loves seeing Travis and Stormi interacting with each other.
She said: “They have this crazy connection and she’s definitely a daddy’s girl. It’s cute to watch. When dad’s around, I’m not even there. It’s like she doesn’t see me, but it’s cool.”
