Sienna Miller shares tip for ageing clothes

OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Miller ages new clothes by leaving them outside all winter to give them a lived-in look.
The 42-year-old actress admits she likes her clothes to look and feel worn so she puts them outside and leaves them there until they are “bleached and damaged” enough for her to wear.
She told Vogue magazine: “I sometimes leave [my clothes] outside for winter, and then by the time it’s summer, they’re kind of aged and bleached and damaged in a way that I like.”
Sienna went on to talk about her signature boho style that has recently come back into fashion – admitting her outfit choices during the Noughties were “a little bit nuts” but she’s pleased the trend is being embraced again.
She added to the publication: “I think that my styling back then was a little bit nuts. I would wear a dress as a skirt, a dress over a pair of jeans with a boot … it was a lot … [Boho was] a bit gimmicky at one point … [But] it’s more about an essence and a spirit; it’s levity and it’s freedom.
“It embodies a certain type of woman that embraces femininity, but there’s also a power in it. I think that’s always been my style.”
It comes after Sienna declared her top style tip is to make sure you have a “great pair of jeans” because they can “elevate” any outfit.
She revealed she always sticks to her favourite denim which she teams with a good jumper and nice accessories.
Sienna told Stylist magazine: “I have quite a clear aesthetic of what works for me. I think a great pair of jeans, shoes will elevate any outfit, a great jumper. “I tend to wear a lot of jeans, and then earrings and accessories or a nice watch.”
Sienna added she has quite an extensive collection of knitwear and she loves one particular jumper – from high street store Reiss – and her 11-year-old daughter Marlowe often borrows it.
She explained: “I like to buy knitwear. I have a great jumper from Reiss (a crew-neck mid-grey cashmere jumper) – you’d never know it wasn’t The Row. It’s a perfect jumper. My daughter nicked it and looked amazing in it.”
The actress went on to add she thinks Brits have an incredible sense of style because of their “irreverence” and “humour”.
She told the publication: “There’s no one that does undone, relaxed chic like the Brits; it’s something to do with the irreverence of being English and the humour, there’s just something about British style.”

Anya Taylor-Joy is ‘obsessed’ with fashion

OHMYGOSSIP — Anya Taylor-Joy has become “obsessed” with fashion.
‘The Queen’s Gambit’ star, 28, admits she barely wore anything apart from “sweatpants” for many years when she was working hard in the movie business, but has started to develop her own style over the last few years and she now devotes much of her time to rummaging through vintage stores to find her favourite designer pieces.
She told WWD.com: “Because it’s always something that I’ve associated with work, my personal style wasn’t that important to me because I’ve just been constantly working.
“So the only thing I had to think about was what’s going to be comfortable to wear at three o’clock in the morning when I show up to set and then I get changed into something else for the rest of the day. So I wore sweatpants – for years – and just never really thought about it.
“And now, as I’ve become more obsessed with fashion, I spend a lot of time going to vintage stores because I find that’s more where I find my personal style.”
Anya went on to reveal her current obsession is with vintage Vivienne Westwood pieces.
She explained: “Recently, it’s become, it’s not a problem yet, but I am very obsessed with vintage Vivienne Westwood. And it’s become a thing where every time I go into a vintage shop and I fall in love with something, it’s Westwood. I’m gonna have an entire wardrobe of exclusively Westwood clothes …
“It’s like owning a piece of history.”
Anya added that she’s trying to expand her wardrobe to include more everyday clothes rather than red carpet or party outfits and she takes inspiration from styles of the past.
She said: “I’ve been really enjoying taking the time to say, ‘Maybe I do like wearing this. Maybe I like wearing little red leather gloves.’ That’s fun for me.
“There’s a glamour to the way people used to dress that I’m very intrigued by.”

Reese Witherspoon didn’t recognise daughter Ava Phillippe when she dyed her hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon didn’t recognise her own daughter when she dyed her hair brown.
Ava Phillippe – the ‘Big Little Lies’ star’s eldest child with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe – believes the “most impactful” style and beauty decision she has ever made was changing her natural blonde tresses because her darker locks gave her an “edge” as she looked so different.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, Ava said: “I feel like the most memorable one, or the most like impactful moment, has been changing my hair to brunette. I’m naturally blonde, and I dyed my hair dark when I was at university, and everyone – even my own mother – did not recognise me.
“Honestly, it’s changed a lot of my fashion choices and it’s added a contrast to my look – it’s kind of given me a little bit more edge, if I dare say. It’s really brought the inside of me out. It’s just been fun.”
The 26-year-old beauty likes to add an “unexpected twist” to her outfits to stand out.
Asked when she feels most beautiful, she said: “I have two answers for this. The first would be more that I feel most beautiful when my outward appearance reflects my inner creativity.
“I take a lot of pride in finding unique and special ways to make my style stand out, even through the smallest things. I think that adding something that’s kind of an unexpected twist brings out my personality.
“And then the second is, I mean, it’s cheesy as it sounds, it’s when I’m upholding my values and being my best self for others. I think that beauty and style tricks go a long way, but showing your inner beauty and integrity and treating others with kindness and respect actually goes farther than we think.”
When it comes to her own style icons, Ava loves the look of her mom’s ‘Big Little Lies’ co-star Zoe Kravitz.
She explained: “No matter what she wears, she always looks like herself, and she has this ability to make even the most simple minimalist look like really something extraordinary.
“So I think that’s a really cool quality she has and I think she really understands her body type too and everything that she chooses, fits and suits her perfectly.”

Elizabeth Hurley has ‘hundreds’ of pairs of jeans

OHMYGOSSIP — Elizabeth Hurley has “hundreds” of pairs of jeans in her attic.
The 59-year-old actress wears a pair of denims every day because they are practical for her life in the countryside and she is “gradually” working her way through the garments she has in storage.
Asked if she had to wear one thing for the rest of her life, she told the Sunday Times Style magazine: “Jeans. I wear them every day. I wish I were the sort of girl who wore pretty skirts and dresses, but I have dogs and live in the country so I’m always covered in mud…
“I have hundreds of pairs in boxes in the attic. I’m gradually working my way through all the old skinnies and low-rise and using them up for gardening.”
And the ‘Bedazzled’ actress also has “masses” of “beautiful” pairs of shoes that she is unable to wear because of problems with her ankle and toe.
She said: “I have torn ligaments in my ankle and hallux rigidus in one of my big toe joints, so I have to be very careful about high heels.
“I shouldn’t really wear any at all but I sneak in a few.
“I have masses of beautiful, neglected shoes that I’ll never wear again but can’t bear to part with.”
When it comes to her nighttime attire, Elizabeth wears nothing but a “soft bra”.
Asked what she wears in bed, she said: “I have a mysteriously perfect duvet that is warm in winter and cool in summer, so I don’t wear anything except for a soft bra, which is essential if you’re well endowed.”
The ‘Austin Powers’ star doesn’t take long to get ready in the mornings but admitted she gives herself a lot of time when she’s preparing for a “big occasion”.
She said: “If it’s a big occasion I allow two hours. On normal days, five minutes tops.”

Angelina Jolie won’t follow trends

OHMYGOSSIP — Angelina Jolie believes dressing “for oneself” is a “useful rebellion”.
The ‘Maria’ actress – who has her own fashion brand and creative space, Atelier Jolie – doesn’t want to “follow” trends and be told how she should dress as style should be a form of personal expression.
She told CR Fashion Book: “Over the years, I’ve seen fashion dictated by trends and anointed arbiters of taste. But to look inward and dress for oneself—to truly express oneself with creativity and resourcefulness—is a useful rebellion in this modern age.
“The modular Atelier Jolie suit seen in this issue, which is made from deadstock [fabric], is a collection staple, and includes interchangeable collars. It was made to be personalised; for a new look there can be new parts added or adjusted, instead of purchasing a new suit or new dress.”
And asked if she still feels punk, she added: “If punk means not to follow, but to question, then I suppose I do. The resistance to being told how to think, dress or feel is important to me.”
The 49-year-old star established Atelier Jolie to “honour individuality”.
Asked how she envisaged the brand blurring the lines between designer label and creative collective, she replied: “It doesn’t feel at all like blurring so much as honouring individuality and celebrating the spirit of personal expression.
“I have always loved making and designing alongside the brilliant tailors, costume designers, and pattern makers I’ve had the privilege of encountering over my career.
“I wanted to build a collective with artists and designers who inspire me and are creating in a way that challenges overconsumption.
“Simon Ungless is a beautiful example of this; he has joined us in the atelier to share his craft and designs with our guests and has even printed on some of the pieces I’ve designed while he was teaching.”

Harry Styles’ Pleasing announces Disney capsule collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles’ Pleasing brand has teamed up with Disney on a new ‘Fantasia’ capsule collection.
The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ hitmaker’s beauty and lifestyle brand has created a line of apparel, accessories, nail polish and skincare products featuring the beloved characters from the 1940 animated Disney classic.
The standout pieces include a hoodie with Sorcerer Mickey and the Pleasing logo, but fans can also get their hands on T-shirts, sweatpants, tote bags, socks, towels and journals adorned with famous figures from the musical film, as well as three new nail colours.
Harry Lambert, Pleasing’s creative director, told WWD.com: “From very early on, ‘Fantasia’ was always in the front of our minds at Pleasing. The aesthetics, the mood, the bold illustrations, the colours and, ultimately, the epic world that Disney has created, were very much a world that resonated with Pleasing. ‘Fantasia’ feels very similar in terms of its overall aesthetic and musical influence — it just felt right for us.”
Prices range from $25 to $289.
The products will be available from October 4 via pleasing.com and disneystore.com – although fans will get the chance to attend pre-launch pop-ups and make purchases in-store at select Disney stores in the US.
Pleasing launched in 2021 with a range of nail and eye gel products but has gone on to expand to include accessories, clothing, fragrances and much more.
The 30-year-old pop star-and-actor – who shot to fame as a member of chart-topping boy band One Direction – previously explained how Pleasing is about giving his fans a “moment of joy”.
Speaking to the 2021 winter issue of Dazed, he said: “I’ve always found that the moments in my life which have brought me the most joy are the small ones, whether it be, you know, the end of the night under the stars or a bite of food, or sitting with your friends thinking, ‘Oh, I’m never gonna forget this.’
“It’s always those moments that I find have the longest-lasting effect on me, in terms of sparking something wonderful in me. I really think that the essence of Pleasing is finding those little moments of joy and showing them to people.”

Zendaya’s stylist made her look like other stars to get her more media coverage

OHMYGOSSIP — Zendaya’s celebrity stylist deliberately made her look exactly like other stars at the start of her career to get her more media coverage.
The ‘Euphoria’ actress, 28, has spent years working with Law Roach, 46, and he has now revealed he started their working relationship on a mission to get her into US Weekly’s ‘Who Wore It Best’ poll, which shows two celebrities wearing the same outfit side by side with an invitation to readers to vote on which they liked more.
He told the New Yorker: “I figured out that whoever got the most press got the best dresses, so I was, like, I need to get her more press.”
Law added he wasn’t afraid of her potentially losing the Us Weekly poll he aimed to get her exposure in – saying: “Because I know she’s going to win a battle.”
But Law has said he struggled to get luxury brands to work with the actress, who started her career on the Disney channel, as they didn’t think she could market their pricey clothes to a wide enough audience.
He added on ‘The Cutting Room Floor’ podcast Chanel, Saint Laurent, Dior, Gucci and Valentino all refused to work with her.
It led to him forming a rule for whenever a brand turned the two of them down, they would never be able to again, with the stylist declaring: “If it’s a no now, it’s a no forever.”
Law told Vogue in February Zendaya was largely dressed in vintage pieces when they first started working together because that was all that was available to them.
He added: “We’ve been (pulling vintage) since Zendaya and I began working together, for 13 years now.
“At first, it came out of necessity because back when we started, nobody would lend her clothes.
“And I come from vintage – I had a vintage store in Chicago – so a lot of the things that she wore were things from my store or vintage pieces.”

‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ ghost costumes based on chunky real estate salesmen’s uniforms

OHMYGOSSIP — The ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ ghost costumes were partly based on chunky real estate salesmen’s uniforms.
Director Tim Burton, 66, who has brought out the sequel to his classic ‘Beetlejuice’ comedy horror 35 years after the release of the original, recruited veteran designer Colleen Atwood to painstakingly give updated spins on the now-iconic outfits worn in the 1988 flick, such as lead character Lydia Deetz’s wedding dress.
Colleen, 75, told CNN about her approach to the movie sequel’s outfits: “For the (scenes set in the) underworld (an afterlife waiting room for the undead) I really was looking at the 1970s.
“We’ve got people painted all different colours. So sort of taking colours that look good with a blue face that aren’t too bright or that overwhelm them. And it ended up being sort of a ‘70s palette.
“Within the underworld, there’s people that have been in there longer than others.
“So I have stuff from the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s, and I have stuff from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. All different periods combined down there, but the palette is controlled within a certain parameter.
“There’s also “the Bob’s”, who are the shrinkers (or zombies) in the underworld. My inspiration for them was old Century 21 Real Estate guys that used to wear matching gold-coloured blazers, a brown tie and a white shirt. I had very specific ideas for that part of the world.”
When asked how she coped with designing costumes for a film with so many historic fashion moments, Colleen replied: “When you take an iconic person, you nod into the iconic.
“Beetlejuice (played again by Michael Keaton) stayed in the same style of striped suit, but it wasn’t the same suit.
“He is an older, more worn Beetlejuice with a little bit more of a paunch, so I aged the suit in a way that was refined, and wasn’t just like dirt rubbed on it. “The idea was that he’d had it on for 35 more years, that he’d been hanging out for a while in it.
“We used a more organic material than the original, which meant it had a little more softness to it because it had been aged to look that way.
“Same thing with his wedding tuxedo. It had the feeling of a cheap rented tux, but with more fit. We had fun and it was a challenge, but we wanted to honour the work done before by Aggie Rodgers (the costume designer who worked on the original film), yet in today’s world.”

Florence Pugh hailed as ‘100 per cent unapologetically just who she is’ when it comes to fashion

OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Pugh is “100 per cent authentically and unapologetically just who she is” when it comes to her style.
The actress, 28, who made her big screen debut in 2014 movie drama ‘The Falling’, has admitted she has struggled with body-shaming trolls and said she has had to get used to doing glamorous magazine photoshoots.
But British American designer Harris Reed, for whom Florence made her catwalk debut by opening his autumn/winter 2023 show last year, has praised her for her down-to-earth and authentic approach to fashion and beauty.
The 28-year-old told British Vogue: “(She) embodies everything that I want my work to be, which is just unapologetically, ‘F*** you, this is who I am. This is what I stand for. This is what I’m about.’”
Harris and Florence first met at his birthday party in Ibiza, at which she gave him a crocheted kaftan, and have been friends since.
The designer went on about the actress: “That fabulous laughter, like anyone who knows (her will tell you), is absolutely infectious.
“I think in a business that is so overly curated and overly saturated, with massive teams of people trying to control and force a look.
“Florence Pugh is 100 per cent authentically and unapologetically just who she is. That’s very rare.”
Florence told Vogue about battling online trolls: “It’s so hard. (The Internet is) a very mean place.
“It’s really painful to read people being nasty about my confidence or nasty about my weight. It never feels good.
“The one thing I always wanted to achieve was to never sell someone else, something that isn’t the real me.”
She added magazine shoots are a “muscle I’ve learnt to be all right at”, but said: “I’m not a model. It’s portraying a completely different version of myself that I don’t necessarily believe in.
“You have to believe that you deserve to be in those pages being beautiful. But now I know what I want to show.
“I know who I want to show.
“ I know who I want to be and I know what I look like. There’s no insecurities about what I am anymore.”

Bella Hadid makes runway return at Paris Fashion Week

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid has returned to the runway for the first time in two years.
The 27-year-old supermodel – whose last fashion show appearance came in October 2022 at a charity event hosted by Naomi Campbell in Quatar – is back in the spotlight during Paris Fashion Week.
On Tuesday (24.09.24), Bella walked the runway at the Saint Lauren Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show.
She was seen strutting her stuff in an oversized black suit and tie, completing with a white button-down shirt and black-rimmed sunglasses.
Bella previously revealed she was stepping back from the world of modelling after getting the impression that the fashion world wasn’t returning her “love and effort”.
Back in April, she told Allure magazine: “After 10 years of modeling, I realized I was putting so much energy and love and effort into something that, in the long run, wasn’t necessarily giving it back to me.”
During her modelling break – which saw her move to Texas – Bella still kept busy, and she recently launched her own Orebella fragrance line.
She added: “Growing up in an Arab family, perfume and scents were almost a personality trait—I can still remember the way my grandparents smelled when they walked into a room.
“My uncle Mahmoud was making his own essential oils in the 70s—woody, tobacco-smelling scents.”
She insisted the goal was to put something out there that wasn’t simply “another product” from a celebrity.
She explained: “I didn’t want to just put something on the market that was another product or another perfume.
“It was something I was already extremely passionate about, and I didn’t want to keep it for myself anymore.”

Alberta Ferretti steps down as creative director

OHMYGOSSIP — Alberta Ferretti has stepped down as creative director of her eponymous brand.
The fashion designer – whose last show was on September 17 in Milan – launched her brand in 1981, and she admitted the decision was “a difficult, complicated, but a very thoughtful” one.
In an open letter, she wrote: “It’s time for me to make room for a new chapter for my brand, a new narrative.”
She insisted the decision was made with “serenity and awareness”, while the brand will keep her name.
She continued: “Soon I will announce the name of the person we have chosen to continue writing the history of the Alberta Ferretti brand, who will always find in me support and sustainment.”
Alberta – who will stay as vice president of parent company Aeffe – vowed to keep busy with her “great passions”, and rubbished the idea of a quiet life.
She said: “Someone will think that now I will dedicate myself to rest… that someone doesn’t know me well enough.”
Although what began as a “small family business” has become a global fashion juggernaut, Alberta said her brand has retained its ethos.
She recalled: “[It began] when a young woman with many dreams and passions brought her collection to the catwalk for the first time. I remember those moments as if they were yesterday.
“The Alberta of that day is in many ways still the Alberta of today, even if in the meantime a small family business has become a company with 1,500 employees.”
In her letter, she took the chance to thank those who “helped her grow”, singling out the likes of Peter Lindbergh, Steve Meisel, Franca Sozzani and Paolo Roversi.
She continued: “How many things I have learned, how much energy I have invested in this job and how many achievements I have been lucky enough to reach.
“From Cattolica to China, from Hollywood to Japan…fantastic places on a journey that seemed unimaginable, but which came true.
“On this very special day, thanks must go to my brother Massimo, a constant presence in my professional and personal life, and to all those who have contributed to making in recent years the Alberta Ferretti brand great in the world.”

Jessica Simpson reveals how ‘Rockabilly sensibility’ inspired new collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Simpson’s new collection is inspired by her new “Rockabilly sensibility”.
The 44-year-old singer has opened up on how her eponymous fashion brand’s fall/holiday 2024 clothing and shoe collection has taken inspiration from her return to music.
She told People magazine: “There’s a rock and roll western vibe that runs through the pieces of this collection.
“It is a celebration of how different forms of artistic expressions are woven together.”
She has been influenced by her recording sessions in Nashville for the new campaign, while she is glad to still be expressing herself through fashion.
She said: “Creativity is absolutely interrelated with fashion for me. I find that what I am wearing helps me evoke a certain sense of self.
“It is really always inner confidence coming out that is most beautiful in my opinion, but sometimes clothes and shoes can help navigate part of the creative process.”
The Texas native enjoyed getting “into character” when she was in the studio in Nashville, and she loves the way she blends her fashion and music worlds.
She added: “If I dress the part of what I am feeling artistically I am better able to express myself in the words and music I am writing…
“Lots of fringe, lots of turquoise, high heels and lots of slip dresses, short and long! I kind of created my own style based on the songs I am singin’.”
With the autumn months bringing back memories of returning to school, Jessica recalled her mother helping her feel “cute”, while she still plays a part on her style choices today.
She said: “Even though we didn’t have resources for a lot of back to school shopping, my mom always found a way to help me feel cute and accessorise outfits so they felt stylish and unique.
“She still helps style my outfits sometimes and I am always reminded about when that started with me going back to school as a kid.”

Molly-Mae Hague didn’t know where to start when launching her own fashion brand

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly-Mae Hague didn’t know where to start when launching her own fashion brand.
The 25-year-old reality star- who recently split from ‘Love Island’ co-star Tommy Fury with whom she has 20-month-old daughter Bambi – announced the launch of her secret project ‘Maebe’ earlier this month, which is her own fashion line.
The brand is set to launch next Sunday (29.09.24) and a limited number of fans can experience ‘Maebe’ before the general public at a pop-up shop in London tomorrow (21.09.24) where tickets for the event sold out within four minutes.
When appearing as Sheer Luxe’s latest cover star, Molly-Mae admitted that she found starting her own fashion line hard as she didn’t know where to start.
She said: “I found that so hard – no one tells you where to start. The name came first – once I had that, it defined the vision and I could go from there. I set aside the financial investment – that was an important first step – and then set about creating the look and feel.
“That meant moodboarding, a lot of Pinterest and Instagram researching, pulling pieces from my wardrobe for inspiration and constantly wearing and figuring out what my dream capsule wardrobe looked like.”
After starting working on the brand before she became a mum, Molly- Mae also shared that the goal for the brand is for to people to “love the clothes, not because it is Molly-Mae’s brand”.
She added: “Since I started ‘Maebe’ I’ve become a mum, so naturally, I’ve grown in so many ways. For one, my wardrobe’s changed a lot and drop one reflects that – it really represents who I am now.
“But really, the main goal is for the brand is to become a name that stands on its own without me attached to it – I want people to return to it because they love the clothes, not because it’s Molly-Mae’s brand.
“My dream is to not have to scream and shout about it. We’re technically a start-up. I think people expect it to be a fully established business but we’re just getting going.”

Kate Winslet thinks being comfortable in what you wear is crucial for confidence

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet thinks being comfortable in what you wear is the key to being confident.
The ‘Titanic’ actress – who has Mia, 24, and Joe, 21, from previous marriages, and Bear, 11, with husband Edward Abel Smith – says that feeling at ease in what you are wearing ensures you can attend any function, whether that’s a family party or movie premiere, and be at your best.
She told Harper’s Bazaar UK: “I think probably what I have learnt is that the more relaxed and comfortable I feel, the more confident I am. “That is actually quite a critical thing to have learnt because when you are on a red carpet and you are wearing a dress that is corseted and boned and you have to stand, pose and sit in it for very long periods of time, it is important to feel comfortable, otherwise you are just wishing the occasion away and just desperately want to get home and put your pyjamas on and that’s not the right way to feel.
“You should feel like you can wear something with confidence, and own it and enjoy being out and enjoy being part of the occasion.”
The 48-year-old star has also vowed not to “go into shops” anymore.
She said: “My personal style, in a funny way, has not evolved much. I’ve always been a jeans, comfy T-shirt and nice jacket sort of girl.
“I have made a decision recently that I am not going to go into shops anymore. I find them stressful.
“When something new comes into my life it’s usually from a shoot or it’s something my son doesn’t want to wear anymore, usually an oversized jacket.”

Skepta wants to banish tracksuits and go back to ‘dressing up’

OHMYGOSSIP — Skepta wants to banish tracksuits and encourage everyone to start “dressing up” again when they go out.
The rapper-turned-fashion designer launched his Mains menswear brand in 2017 and is preparing to show his latest collection at London Fashion Week featuring shirts and suits as well as photo-printed denim and a leather trench coat – and he’s insisted he wants his clothes to bring back the art of dressing up instead of down.
He told WWD.com: “Streetwear [stopped] people from dressing up to go out. People now want to wear their tracksuits to clubs and the promoters give in because these are affluent people, who’ll spend money on drinks.
“What I want to do is take fashion back to music. I want to start doing raves where you’re only allowed in with shoes so that people will start dressing up again. Not getting dressed was what killed the rave …
“I want people to feel that soon as they put these clothes on, they’ll want to go out and express themselves.”
He added of his passion project: “I’m having more fun, I’m actually tapping into my first love of fashion and that makes it more authentic for me. There’s more passion when you’re designing from something that you know, and care about. In fashion it takes time to find your language.”
Skepta included tracksuits in his first runway show in London last year and he insisted he wanted to make chic versions that will stand the test of time.
According to the Guardian, he said: ” Tracksuits are part of the London fashion DNA. But I want to make tracksuits that will still be around in vintage stores in the future.”
He also admitted leaving decisions to the last minute ahead of his fashion show heightened his nerves. Skepta said: “[It’s] bringing me a bit of anxiety. I mean, I would never plan a music show like this.
“It would never be like, I’m doing a set in three days and I haven’t written all the songs yet, that wouldn’t happen.
“But there are clothes that I haven’t touched physically, that we are banking on being in the show in three days’ time. That doesn’t make any sense to my brain.”
