Nina Agdal works out every day

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Agdal works out for at least 45 minutes every day.
The 24-year-old model is no stranger to stripping down and flashing the flesh in a string bikini but she has admitted her incredible body doesn’t come easy as she has to make sure she works up a sweat seven times a week all year round.
Speaking to E! News, she said: “I definitely love being active. I’ve always been very active and played sports growing up. Now, I try to workout at least once a day.
“It helps me mentally. It gets my brain working, controls my stress levels and it’s just good for me and my body. I make it a priority to get at least 45 minutes in a day, whether it’s going for a run, playing a sport, going for a bike ride or a class.”
However, the brunette beauty – who is dating Leonardo DiCaprio – doesn’t mind slipping into her gym gear as she’s “obsessed” with several types of exercises.
She explained: “I’m always obsessed with workouts, but I switch it up. I’m really into boxing–I have personal boxing trainer in New York. I do a lot of SoulCycle, SLT, Barry’s Bootcamp, Tone House, Y7 Yoga–I’m kind of all over the place. I’ve been traveling a lot, so it’s been a lot of beach bootcamps, too. Basically it’ me and whoever wants to join me (if anyone) just putting on some tunes and doing some squats, sprints and lunges. Besides, tanning at the same time in a bikini is kind of awesome.”

Elle Macpherson was locked in 'lace land' lingerie

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Macpherson used to be “locked in lace land” with bras.
The 52-year-old supermodel was determined to branch out of her frilly web-like patterned fabric for her new lingerie brand Body because she wanted to create a range that would make women to feel confident and comfortable in their underwear.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m not locked into lace land any more, thank goodness. I can make bras that look great under T-shirts and white shirts. Bras that make you feel good, you know? That’s going to be my legacy.”
The blonde bombshell appreciates that women like to turn around when they get change so she made it her mission to make bras look pretty and flattering from behind.
She explained: “When a woman undresses, she tends to turn around. So I wanted everything to look incredible from the back, so that you can turn around to change and your body looks gorgeous. Bra straps are angled so that they start close together on the back strap and fan outward towards your shoulders, which makes your waist look narrower and your shoulders broader and more athletic.
“With underwear, it’s all about thinking: if you don’t have a great body, how do you make a body look great?”
And Elle – whose nickname is ‘The Body’ – took inspiration from her step-daughters when she created the range.
She said: “I have two stepdaughters now who are 16 and 18, and I thought about them a lot when I was designing. They shop at Victoria’s Secret, and – I mean, there’s nothing wrong with Victoria’s Secret, but I wanted to create an alternative that appeals to who young women really are now. I wanted to make underwear that says you can be beautiful, strong, sexy, sporty and cool, and also be comfortable. The spectrum of beauty has got so much bigger than it was when I started out modelling – women don’t need to fit into anybody’s stereotype any more. We can dress to express ourselves and our personalities.”

Kate Bosworth dresses to suit her 'boyish figure'

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Bosworth dresses to flatter her “boyish figure” – because she knows she doesn’t have curves like Beyoncé.
The 33-year-old actress often looks at the clothes worn by the bootylicious singer with admiration but knows she doesn’t have the curves to match her fabulous figure.
Instead, Bosworth focuses on outfits that max the most of her body shape.
In an interview in the October 2016 issue of FASHION Magazine, she said: “I’ll look at someone like Beyoncé and say, ‘That dress is so amazing on her,’ but I know that my body type is completely different. I have more of a boyish figure, so anything that’s too loose or shapeless isn’t the most flattering for me.”
Although she knows what suits her frame, Bosworth isn’t afraid to be bold with her choices.
The ‘Before I Wake’ star – who is married to Michael Polish – changes the way she dresses depending on what city she is in and she always feels confident to “push the envelope” when in New York or Paris.
She revealed: “When it comes to dressing up, I don’t have any anxiety at all – it’s actually something I really enjoy. It’s the quickest way to communicate a feeling – culturally and individually, clothing can represent something about our time or what is going on inside us. Fashion is the most immediate way to see something evolve.
“In New York and Paris, I can push the envelope in terms of fashion. I can be riskier with my choices there. The type of choices you see on the streets there are more bold in terms of expression. Los Angeles is more casual; I pull back a little bit in terms of what I wear.”
The October 2016 issue of FASHION Magazine is available from September 19.

Tulisa's Finding Nemo look

OHMYGOSSIP — Tulisa looked like “Finding Nemo” after having an allergic reaction to fillers.
The ‘Sweet Like Chocolate’ hitmaker has joked she resembled the fictional clownfish – the titular animated character who was voiced by Alexander Gould in the 2003 movie of the same name – after a cosmetic enhancement procedure didn’t go quite to plan.
She said: “It was fillers and I had an allergic reaction and I looked like Finding Nemo.”
The N-Dubz singer admitted she had to dissolve some of the fillers herself because of how she resembled afterwards, but did enjoy the ones she had in her lips.
She explained: “Well they were all temporary so they dissolve, I did actually dissolve some myself, but the rest are left to dissolve, apart from my lips, I like keeping my lips.”
The 28-year-old star also admitted she “loves” facial treatment collagen waves.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, she added: “My lips, obviously, you have to maintain but the rest of the time [it’s just] collagen waves which I love and that’s about it.”
Tulisa recently returned to the spotlight by releasing her first single in nearly two years and admitted she prefers juice retreats, yoga and healthy eating to partying nowadays.
She said: “I’m not the Tulisa I was before, I’m into my nutrition, I’m eating super healthy, I have no carb weeks. I still indulge because I’m a foodie and I’m a cook as well. My best dishes are really rich meals, but during the week I’m really healthy, I juice now. I went to this juice retreat and basically wanted to kick start everything, myself mentally, my metabolism, my body and get ready for the comeback.
“When I have work coming up I’m like train, train, train and when I’ve got two weeks off, I won’t do anything. Luckily, because I’ve trained so much over the past few years and changed my lifestyle, I’ve kept muscle memory so it’s very easy for me to come back.”

Gucci Mane loves hip-hop fashion risks

OHMYGOSSIP — Gucci Mane thinks fashion in hip-hop has grown more daring and “mature”.
The 36-year-old rapper is pleased his peers have begun “embracing” designer clothes and are more experimental with their wardrobe choices.
He said: “I love fashion in hip-hop right now — I love how people are just taking risks, and I love how they’re embracing the high-end designers. There’s a more fitted, grown, mature look now.
“I love the way the young kids take chances with what they wear. Fashion is a part of your personality–it’s an extension of yourself. You can’t really get more personal than what you choose to put on. You can learn so much about a person when you see how they present themselves to the world.”
The ‘Gucci Please’ rapper – whose real name is Radric Davis – is currently under house arrest as he finishes his sentence for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and during his time behind bars and then unable to leave home, he has shed over 75lbs and is thrilled his slimline look means he can now fit into the clothes he’s always admired.
He told Vogue online: “I’ve always been really into fashion and clothes. I’ve always liked Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hugo Boss, and just anything dope that catches my eye. Before I was incarcerated, I had gotten so overweight that I couldn’t fit into any of the clothes I wanted to wear. So with the time I was away, I decided I was going to lose weight so I could be able to wear all the brands that I really like…
“It definitely gives me a chance to experiment more with my style–it gives me something to look forward to. I’m shooting some videos at the top of the month for my new project, and I’m really focused on training right now so I can look good in my clothes. I really love to dress and I really love to stay fresh, so that keeps me in the gym and motivated.”

Millie Mackintosh has facial acupuncture

OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Mackintosh has facial acupuncture to keep the effects of ageing at bay.
The 27-year-old beauty finds the sessions relaxing and can feel tension drift away as the needle is pushed in, and she considers them much less painful than the lymph drainage procedures she undergoes before a red carpet appearance.
She said: “I’ve had facial acupuncture and I liked that – it felt like it really released some tension from between my brows and when they took the needle out it felt like my whole face was a lot more relaxed. That’s good for anti-ageing.
“I’m also really into lymph drainage for the face – before an event or a shoot I might have that just to flush any extra fluids or toxins out.
“It’s quite painful. The facialist literally puts her fingers inside your mouth and pulls out your cheeks, stimulating the lymph glands.”
However, Millie insists the pain is worth it.
She told Look magazine: “It does make your face slimmer and more defined and your skin is really plumped up.”
The former ‘Made in Chelsea’ star also has regular facials, but they are “clinical” rather than relaxing.
She explained: “I have facials every month with Dr. Frances Prenna Jones. They do an extraction and then they use lots of healing lights – it’s more clinical.
“It’s mainly just a really deep cleanse.
“It’s like a chemical peel – the extractions are quite painful but it’s always quick and it’s better than having a breakout at home.”

Bella Hadid’s new make-up tutorial

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid has appeared in a new make-up tutorial for Dior. The 19-year-old model was seen with a high ponytail and a neutral, dewy base as she mused on how to change up her look for a date with James Brown’s ‘I Feel Good’ soundtracking the clip.

She said in the clip: “I have to get ready for this date, what should I wear? Rouge Dior for sure – I love this bright red smile. And Lip Glow – the perfect reviving base.” Bella then texted a selfie to Dior’s Creative and Image Director for Make-Up, Peter Philips, and received a reply suggesting she try Matte 999.

Bella noted: “Matte means perfect hold – no compromise.” The model is then seen prepping her lips with Fix It to “smooth and even” the lip colour, before shaping her mouth. She explained: “Fix It to smooth and even the lip colour, then Dior Contour [lip liner] and [Rouge Dior] in 999 Matte. Lovely.”

She then texted another selfie to Peter, who suggested an ombre lip. Bella explained the technique: “First mist the darkest shade in the contour. Then premiere the brightest shade in the centre.” After telling Peter she was “not sure”, he told her to be more daring, prompting her to try a much darker lip, which met with his approval.

The clip ends with the brunette beauty – who is dating The Weeknd – writing ‘I Feel Good’ on her mirror in her chosen shade before kissing the mirror and walking off screen. A mock cast list then features “in order of appearance” the various products used in the clip.

Oscar de la Renta appoint new creative directors

OHMYGOSSIP — Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia have been named co-creative directors at Oscar de la Renta.
The design duo both previously worked at the fashion house before departing in 2015 to found their own label Monse and are “beyond thrilled” to be returning to replace departed Peter Copping, who stepped down earlier this year.
Laura and Fernando said in a statement: “We are beyond thrilled to go back to the house where we learned the fundamentals of fashion from Oscar and the business of fashion from Alex (Bolen, CEO). Having further learned so much this past year with Monse, we will apply all of those lessons to expand the vision that this amazing house has already established.”
Laura previously worked at the fashion house for 12 years until her departure as design director, while Fernando joined in 2009 and held the senior designer position when he left.
And Oscar de la Renta CEO Alex Bolen knows they have made the right choices for the new creative directors because the late eponymous founder was a big admirer of their work.
Alex said: “For many years, Laura and Fernando worked here directing our design teams. Oscar respected their talent, and their work with him brought tremendous critical acclaim and success to the company. In a short period of time, Laura and Fernando have established Monse as a brand with a distinct, original point of view. Our plan is to help Monse fulfil its potential by growing quickly and profitably utilising our operating, financial and logistic systems.
“We look forward to Laura and Fernando once again bringing their extraordinary design skills to Oscar de la Renta.”
Peter announced in July he was stepping down from the role he had held since shortly before Oscar’s death in 2014.
Laura and Fernando’s first collection for the brand will be autumn/winter 2017.

Charli XCX only wears bikinis

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX only wears bikinis.
The ‘Boom Clap’ hitmaker has such a penchant for the swimwear she has been donning two-pieces for nights out and parties lately in Las Vegas, but joked she might have to put on some more clothes when she heads home to the UK.
She said: “I’m just really into wearing bikinis at the moment. Like I’ve been going to clubs and stuff in bikinis and skirts, that’s my new thing.
“I don’t know how that’s going to work when I go back to the UK.”
The 24-year-old star – who is from Cambridge, south west England – recently performed at the SLS Hotel in Las Vegas in a yellow bikini.
After the gig, Charli joked the temperature, which was around 37 degrees Celsius, was so scorching she nearly passed away.
She added to PEOPLE: “I literally nearly died when I came off stage it was so hot.”
This comes after Charli admitted in July she was giving up wearing underwear because she cannot see the “point” of donning undergarments.
Taking to her Twitter account, the brunette beauty wrote: “i’m so OVER wearing underwear. what’s the point?”(sic)
She also admitted she only works out to look good in skimpy outfits.
Charli – whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison – said: “I mean I like curves, and I don’t really watch my weight too much. I’m into the gym but more for the outfits.
“When I say ‘into the gym’ … I went to the gym for the first time last night, and I was way more into what I was wearing than what I was actually doing.”

Paloma Faith hates washing hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Paloma Faith hates washing her hair.
The ‘Picking Up The Pieces’ hitmaker – who is pregnant with her first child – has admitted she wishes her beautiful ginger locks could clean itself because she can’t bear standing under the shower dousing her hair with shampoo and water.
Taking to her Twitter account on Friday (02.09.16), she said: “I wish hair would just wash itself it’s such a drag having to wash it every other day. I can’t stand it! (sic)”
And the 35-year-old singer’s dreaded chore is no doubt set to get worse as her burgeoning baby bump continues to grow.
The flame-haired beauty announced she and her long-term boyfriend Leyman Lahcine were expecting a baby last month.
She said at the time: “I am so delighted to tell you I am going to take a short while off to have a baby.
“I have spent my whole life wanting to be a mother and now the time has come for me to so I feel so lucky.”
And, although she’s used to her body and fashion sense being criticised in the public eye, Paloma has begged her fans not to comment on her pregnancy physique as she doesn’t want the added stress to affect her baby.
She explained: “I am nervous and excited about being a mum and just need to be normal and low key for a while.
“Pregnancy and motherhood is a very personal thing: daunting, new and worrying at times and I don’t want to add to it by having to ‘look’ a certain way when pregnant or be photographed pregnant of with my child.”

Kanye West host open casting

OHMYGOSSIP — Over 500 models flocked to a casting for Kanye West’s New York Fashion Week show at the weekend.
The ‘All Day’ rapper is due to showcase his latest collection on Wednesday (07.09.16), and after issuing a call on Twitter on Saturday (03.09.16) afternoon for “multiracial models only”, hundreds of women – who were instructed to “come as you are”, without make-up – queued outside Jack Studio in New York for the chance to get their big break.
Jada Berthoumieux, 16, had never modelled before but travelled from New Jersey and was in the queue by 9am because it would mean “everything” to walk the runway for Kanye.
She said: “It would mean everything [to be in this show].
“I’ve been wanting to model for a really long time now and it’s just exposure. I’m just really excited right now.”
For Casey Waller, an 18-year-old actress and part-time model, she was attracted to the “empire of Kanye West” and admitted she thinks the 39-year-old star’s unique vision means he could offer a chance to anyone.
She told WWD: “He’s so different from everyone else. I just think this is such an interesting show. I feel like any girl could do it, whether you’re six feet tall size zero, or size four. There’s just an opportunity with him.”
Another hopeful, Saima, headed straight to the audition from work as she was determined not to miss out, having been too late for Kanye’s open casting last season.
She said: “I was on a work shift from the Hamptons, that’s why I have all my suitcases with me.
“What brought me here was that the past three seasons have been to-die-for. I tried to come last season, but I came too late, so this is my second try.”

Stuart Weitzman quits his eponymous label

OHMYGOSSIP – Stuart Weitzman has stepped down as creative director of his eponymous label, and is set to be taken over by Giovanni Morelli. The 74-year-old fashion designer – who began designing shoes for his father’s business Seymour Shoes in the 1960s – has revealed he is quitting the fashion industry after boasting a career at the helm of his footwear label for almost 30 years.

The creative mastermind will hold the title as the company’s chairman, whilst Giovanni Morelli will take over as the brand’s chief designer, according to Elle.com.

However Stuart will remain as creative director until May 5 next year when Giovanni will officially take the reins, and it is hoped the newcomer will continue to carry the “unique DNA” of the brand through his designs.

Speaking about his replacement, Stuart – who served as the leather goods design director at Loewe since March last year – said: “In Giovanni, we have found a creative director who will ensure that the unique DNA of the brand will be preserved while infusing his creative vision for a modern age.

“Giovanni is respected for his attention to detail, respect of quality and craftsmanship and for his modern sensibility that is always pushing new design boundaries.”

And Giovanni has admitted he is eager to join the brand and continue Stuart’s legacy, which has seen his signature Nudist heels adorned by the likes of ‘Lemonade’ hitmaker Beyoncé, ‘Goodies’ singer songwriter Ciara, and ‘The Notebook’ actress Rachel McAdams.

Speaking about his predecessor’s successful brand and his future at the fashion house, he said: “Women globally have embraced Stuart Weitzman’s beautiful shoes that offer both amazing design and incredible comfort.

“I look forward to expanding the brand’s language and its global reach while remaining respectful of the culture and key tenets that it was founded on, which in turn have inspired such strong customer loyalty.”

Net-a-porter launches first multimodel campaign

OHMYGOSSIP – Online luxury retailer Net-a-porter has launched a multimodel campaign for autumn. The luxury fashion website has cast five up-and-coming models to launch their autumn collection, which sees them shifting from their “lifestyle feel” to a more concentrated focus on fashion.

Speaking to WWD.com, the global brand creative director for Net-a-porter, Claudia Plant, said: “This campaign marks an exciting creative shift for us at Net-a-porter, moving away from our ‘lifestyle’ feel, and placing a real emphasis on fashion.

“The multiple models and multibrand styling speaks to our increasingly broad and diverse global customer as well as spotlighting our incredible buy.”

Federico Marchetti’s company launched the campaign on Monday (01.08.16), and tweeted: ” Patchworked, tie-dyed or frayed – it’s time to re-work your #denim for the new season #FW16.”

Photographer Greg Harris took pictures of Charlee Fraser, Amilna Estevao, Sofie Hemmet, Pooja Mor and Julia Van Os in five different looks, a sporty jacket, reworked denim, the new proportion, the statement knit and the print dress on the streets of New York and in a loft in Soho.

The girls featured were a mixture of both emerging and established designers.
