Margot Robbie has finally ‘figured out’ her style despite having ‘horrifying moments’ as a teenager

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie has finally “figured out” her sense of style.
The 34-year-old actress admitted that she had some “horrifying moments” in her teenage years and was still trying to come up with a look that worked for her through her twenties but has now settled on a fashion sense that makes her “feel good” about herself.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “I’m in my thirties now and I feel like I’ve figured out what works for me in a way that I don’t think I had figured out when I was younger. Definitely not as a teenager. We all have that horrifying moment where you look back at a photo and you’re like, ‘Why did I have that side fringe?’ “Trends change, but also sometimes it’s just in its execution, not quite working. Then in my twenties, I was still figuring out what made me feel good. “Sometimes you fall into the trap of wanting to jump onto a trend or a fad but I prefer now to just enhance the parts of me that I like the most. That feels the most authentic, but I think it also just comes across as looking the nicest.”
The ‘Barbie’ star – who was recently announced as the face of Chanel No. 5 – admitted that she finds “inspiration” for her style “everywhere”, including from the stars of Golden Age Hollywood.
She said: “I find inspiration everywhere. When it comes to a red-carpet look, we pull reference images. It can be Lauren Hutton, it could be Brigitte Bardot. For characters I’ve played, or whoever I’m working with, I always find inspiration in the icons. For Barbie, we had a lot of images of Catherine Deneuve, who was also the face of Chanel N°5, but particularly her in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Brigitte Bardot, we also referenced a lot. It’s those icons that remain timeless because you can’t help but feel inclined to recreate them in some way.”

The 31-year-old model – who is married to former Disney Channel star Dylan Sprouse – last served as an Angel for the lingerie brand in 2018 and will be walking the catwalk again for the company’s fashion show on Tuesday (15.10.24).
Speaking in a video posted to Instagram, she said: “Has anyone seen my robe? I’m back! Just doing my final touches because today is my fitting for the Victoria’s Secret 2024 Fashion Show. … It’s been six years and now we’re back.”

He posted in the comment section: “I’m the head of the Barbara cheerleading association.”
Upon the star’s last return to the Victoria’s Secret show, Barabra – who first modelled in 2012 – reflected on her debut as a teenager and admitted that she felt a lot of “pressure” at the time.
She said: “I feel a lot of pressure. When I was 19 and I did the show, I didn’t really understand how much pressure it is and how I should feel.
“But to be here now means so much because I did this. I worked my a** [off] and I am here. It is my big comeback.””
Dylan previously spoke of how “proud” he felt of his girlfriend for all the work she’d put into preparing for the show.
He said: “You know what, it’s hard to see like from these interviews and I guess just from the Instagram posts and stuff how hard she’s really worked to do this.
“So I think the best part for me is just knowing that like after all of that, it really paid off. So I’m excited to see the coalescence of all that work.”

Gigi Hadid ‘trained’ by Taylor Swift for Victoria Secret show

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid was “trained” for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show by Taylor Swift.
The 29-year-old model kicked off the fashion extravaganza on Tuesday (15.10.24) by being raised from a platform under the catwalk, raising her arm and waving to the crowd, just like the opening of her friend’s ‘Eras Tour’ show and the blonde beauty – who wore a silky pink teddy and huge feathery wings in the same colour – admitted she’d had some help from her pal.
Ahead of the New York event, Gigi teased to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “There’s something on the runway tonight that is new for at least me on this runway.
“There’s an aspect to it that I was trained to do by Taylor on her tour. In one of her rehearsals, she was like, ‘I’m going to show you how we do this.’ And now I’m using it tonight.”
But Gigi hadn’t been expecting Taylor to see her in action as she knew she’d be making the most of her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s current NFL break.
She said: “I think if they have one more night before he goes back they’ll probably be cozy on the couch.
“That’s just my guess. But she will also be supporting, I can feel it.”
Hours before the show, Gigi – who made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut in 2015 – admitted walking for the lingerie brand in their first show for six years felt as much of a “dream come true” as it had in previous years.
She wrote on Instagram: “After today’s rehearsal, I can confirm that it will forever feel like a dream come true.
“Looking back on some of my favorite VS show moments over the years and I’m so excited to do it again, with the most incredible, dedicated, creative VS Team and with so many women I love and some I grew up watching. It is an honor.”

Kylie Jenner ‘never leaves the house without applying SPF’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner’s top beauty tip is applying SPF to her face every day.
The reality TV star – who runs her successful Kylie Cosmetics beauty line – has admitted she is “religious” about sun protection and credits her sister Khloe Kardashian with teaching her SPF also needs to be applied to her hands.
She told Elle.com: “Khloe is the one who taught me to put sunscreen on my hands … I’m religious about applying it [SPF], and I never leave the house without putting it on my face.”
‘The Kardashians’ star went on to reveal she’s been embracing a more natural look recently and now tries to wear minimal make-up and make bold statements through her hair or nails instead.
She explained: “I’ve recently been embracing a ‘less is more’ philosophy when it comes to glam – I love letting my skin and freckles show through! But I’ve always seen make-up as a way to show self-expression, and am inspired by my moods or cool visual designs, so I still like to switch it up with my hair and nails.”
Kylie also stressed the importance of “self-care” and revealed she feels good when she’s eating healthily and working out.
She added: “Self-care is so important – no matter how busy I get, I have to make sure I take time for myself. I really consider working out to be a big part of my self-care routine, I try to do it at least 4-5 times a week …
“I’ve been working out regularly and eating healthy, and I feel amazing.”

Margot Robbie ‘strives for French girl beauty’

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie “strives” to achieve “French girl beauty”.
The ‘Barbie’ actress has admitted she struggles to achieve a more “put-together” look and instead leans into trends from her native Australia which are more “casual”.
She told Vogue: “In Australia, we like effortless beauty, but in a casual way. I think French girl beauty is also effortless, but in a more put-together way. It’s hard to achieve, but I think it’s the thing we’re all striving for.”
Margot was recently announced as the new face of Chanel No 5 and she still has vivid memories of seeing Nicole Kidman – who grew up in Australia – starring in the perfume’s adverts.
She added: “My first memory of Chanel No 5 is the Nicole Kidman commercial directed by Baz Luhrmann. I was probably 14 and [Luhrmann’s film] ‘Moulin Rouge’ was so big.
“I remember the commercial so vividly. And because Nicole is Australian, it gave me that first little glimmer of like, ‘Oh, maybe these dreams are within reach. Someone else from my country did it. Maybe I can too’.”
She went on to talk about the use of the colour red in her own Chanel No5 advert, in which she stars opposite fellow Aussie Jacob Elordi.
Margot said: “There’s something inherently passionate and strong about the colour red. There’s a real strength in this fragrance, too. When I think of the kind of woman that might wear Chanel No 5, I think that she’s powerful, she has desires.”
Margot previously admitted she was thrilled to be joining the “Chanel family” by becoming the face of the iconic fragrance.
She told WWD: “I’ve just always known about Chanel No.5 … It’s iconic and an iconic brand. It’s that thing that you always associate with absolute height of luxury.
“At least that’s how I always felt about Chanel. Now I’m in the Chanel family; I associate with more personal memories and things that I’ve gotten to do.”

Kate Moss’s collection for Zara is ‘effortlessly chic’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss’ collaboration with Zara is “effortlessly chic, but with an edge”.
The supermodel has teamed up with the high street giant to create a new clothing collection focused on partywear and Kate has revealed she felt “excited” to start designing again after previously creating a highly successful line for Topshop.
She said in a statement: “I wanted to create the perfect party capsule – pieces that feel effortlessly chic, but with an edge … Mixing classic cuts, with just the right amount of glam, to take you through the party season.”
Kate added: “I’ve enjoyed working with Zara on campaigns over the years and always loved their collaborations, so when Marta [Marta Ortega Pérez, the chair of Zara’s parent company Inditex] and I first talked about this project I was excited [about] getting to design clothes again and working with [stylist] Katy England.”
The Zara x Kate Moss collection launches on November 30 in store and online and it features ready-to-wear clothing and accessories.
Kate previously designed collections Topshop between 2007 and 2010 but returned to create a one-off line for the brand in 2014.
Speaking about returning to create her last collection for Topshop, Kate told British Vogue: “I have really missed being involved in the design process, and working with the team at Topshop.
“I am very excited to create a new collection that bears my name. Now more than ever, with London being at the forefront of fashion, as it feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”

Lindsay Lohan inspired by fellow red-headed actresses

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan always “admired” fellow redheads Julia Roberts and Julianne Moore.
The ‘Parent Trap’ actress has always loved her own natural hair colour and appreciated seeing older stars on screen who share her colouring at a time when she was getting mocked for her appearance.
Asked whose hair she has always admired, she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I think that it was always Julia Roberts growing up, because I could relate to her with my red hair. And Julianne Moore. I think it’s the redhead thing.
“I’ve always liked my own hair colour — I looked up to them and admired them.
“When you’re young and in school and you’re freckled, especially when I was growing up, people would make fun of me sometimes, so I needed to emulate other people who were older and had gotten through that phase.”
The 38-year-old star is a big fan of hair accessories.
She said: “I like hair accessories. I love a bow or a headband if it works, right? The other day, I tried wearing a headband because I felt very ‘Clueless’, like Alicia Silverstone. But I need to find a way to make it work. Because I do love headbands.
“I mean, I love throwing on a headband sometimes, but then I always worry that my hair will get flat.”
Lindsay – who is fronting Nexxus’ Style Swap hair campaign – tries not to wash her locks every day and skips blow drying it when she can to keep her tresses healthy.
She said: “I love using Nexxus hair oil. I think that’s important. Whenever you’re on the go and have lots of products going into your hair, you want to make sure you’re reapplying something to nourish it. That’s currently what I’m using.
“I try not to blow-dry my hair so often if I don’t have to. I feel like washing my hair daily can dry it out, so I try to avoid doing that.”

Jasmine Tookes will ‘never forget’ Victoria’s Secret honour

OHMYGOSSIP — Jasmine Tookes will “never forget” wearing the Fantasy Bra in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The 33-year-old model was chosen for the honour in 2016 and she admitted stepping out onto the runway in the jewel-encrusted lingerie was one of the most “special” moments of her career.
Asked her favourite ever Victoria’s Secret runway look, she told WhoWhatWear: My favourite outfit has to be from the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Paris when I wore the Fantasy Bra.
“It was such an honour, and the bra was stunning—made with emeralds and diamonds. I’ll never forget how special that moment was.”
Jasmine admitted the Paris event was one of her favourites.
She said: “There are so many, but one of my favourite memories is walking in Paris at the Grand Palais. There’s this incredible energy we all share right before stepping onstage, and it’s something you only experience when you’re part of that world.
“This was also a special memory because it was the first time I got to travel on the VS airplane with all of the girls. It was pretty unforgettable.”
The fashion show is returning to the catwalk next week for the first time in six years and Jasmine teased it will be “new and modern”, as well as incorporating the things people loved in previous shows.
She said: “I think this year’s show is going to be a blend of what we loved from past shows and something new and modern.
“There’s always an element of surprise, but one thing that remains consistent is how the show celebrates confidence, beauty, and empowerment.
“It’s going to feel fresh but still very much Victoria’s Secret.”
The model loves the chaos of being backstage at the shows.
She said: “Backstage is a whirlwind—there’s excitement, nerves, and so much adrenaline.
“You have hair and make-up going, photographers capturing every moment, and everyone is supporting each other. It’s chaotic but in the best way possible.”

Amelia Gray doesn’t do trends

OHMYGOSSIP — Amelia Gray “doesn’t really do trends”.
The 23-year-old model doesn’t stick to one particular style of clothing and is happy to put together outfits that clash so long as they make her feel good.
She told Nylon magazine: “I’ve decided I don’t really do trends. We’re doing cozy, we’re doing baggy. Yesterday, I wore this hilarious outfit: I had my Ashley Williams London “I Love Me” pink sweatpants with my black Miu Miu ballerinas and a leopard Balenciaga top.
“We’re doing everything that doesn’t make sense: patterns, colors. It’s not a sad-girl fall, it’s a bright-girl fall. It’s a cozy, colorful-girl fall.”
Amelia is now living in New York and she was delighted to discover a “beautiful warehouse” of vintage dresses.
Asked her favourite hidden gems in the city, she said: “I don’t know if it’s a hidden gem. It seemed to have been hidden for me until two days ago: Kettl Matcha, only place to get matcha in the city, you heard it here first.
“Also, I forgot what it’s called, but it’s probably better because I need to gate-keep this one. There’s a beautiful warehouse above an antique store uptown, and this woman curates all of these slip dresses and corsets from the ‘50s and it’s the most insane space.
“I don’t know the name; that’s why it’s a hidden gem.”
Previously, Amelia confessed to stealing items from her mom Lisa Rinna and dad Harry Hamlin’s closets, including designer garments.
She told PEOPLE: “I steal (but put back) a bunch of my dad’s Calvin Klein white T-shirts and his Nike socks sometimes. He also has really comfy flannel pieces.
“From my mom, I mostly take the tighter, chicer things. I’ve definitely stolen my fair share of Versace.”
Amelia takes anything she “can get [her] hands on” when it comes to the former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star’s clothes.
She said: “I take whatever high-fashion things I can get my hands on from that woman’s closet, that’s for sure.”
Amelia likes to mix and match items from each of their wardrobes.
She explained: “There’s so many things in my dad and mom’s closets I can appreciate. I would never pick one closet [to borrow clothes from] for the day. I would have to style both of them together.”

Scarlett Johansson had ‘hole in her face’ after biggest beauty regret

OHMYGOSSIP — Scarlett Johansson was left with a hole in her face after trying to “get rid of a pimple”.
The 39-year-old star has opened up on one of his “biggest beauty regrets” after using a cortisone injection despite being warned against it by a makeup artist.
She told E! News: “Never get a cortisone shot to get rid of a pimple. I was warned by a make-up artist about this years ago.
“She told me about an actress who had a big scene coming up but had a pimple she needed to get rid of. So, she went to the dermatologist to get a cortisone shot to get rid of it and it left a huge crater (which looked much worse).
“Stupidly, I didn’t follow this advice and a year later got it done myself – and I can confirm it does leave a hole!
“So, avoid it if you can. I’ve managed to massage it away over time but it’s probably one of my biggest beauty regrets.”
The ‘Under The Skin’ actress has opened up about her own skincare routine, which she had developed through her own beauty brand ‘The Outset’.
Sharing some advice for her fans, she said: “Develop a routine you can stick to. I think I’ve got mine down now, and the key is to keep it streamlined —that’s why The Outset routines are always straightforward and efficient.
“You don’t need a 16-step routine to get great results.”
She used that mentality for her company’s Prep Serum, which combines four products into one.
She added: “I hear from so many people that they get hooked by our Prep Serum.
“It’s a multitasker that takes the place of four products and I think we can all appreciate a product that simplifies your routine.
“Personally, my skin doesn’t feel the same without it!”

Brooke Shields refused her daughter’s ‘inappropriate’ outfit idea for school event

OHMYGOSSIP — Brooke Shields rejected her daughter’s “inappropriate” outfit suggestion for her school’s parents weekend.
The 59-year-old actress has revealed her 18-year-old girl Grier tried to convince her famous mother to sport “cowboy boots and a little short dress” to the college event, but she isn’t sure it’d give the right impression.
She told People magazine: “We’re going to parents’ weekend soon and Grier called me and said, ‘I want you to wear cowboy boots and a little short dress.’
“I said, ‘I don’t think that that is appropriate and I do not want to.’ And she’s like, ‘Mom, it’ll just make you cooler.’
“And then my husband was like, ‘You should wear Daisy Dukes.’ I’m like, ‘What?’ I’m not trying to look backwards. I’m trying to go forward, but in a youthful way.”
Brooke – who also has daughter Rowan Francis Henchy, 21, with her husband Chris Henchy – explained how this outlook impacts her new Commence haircare line focused on women over the age of 40.
She added: “There should be a lightness in this era of a woman’s life, and instead we’re met with, ‘Oh, so you’re in menopause now,’ or, ‘You’ve had a good run.’
“The moment when your kids are gone it’s like, ‘All right, see you later.’ What I want with this brand is a lightness, vibrancy and an excitement for this period of our lives.”
The actress and model previously insisted she has no plans to age “gracefully”, while still urging people to focus on “acceptance and kindness” of yourself.
She told Allure magazine: “Isn’t it interesting how we even have to say, okay, well if you’re going to age, you’re going to have to do it gracefully.
“Excuse me, but f*** you. Aging is not a graceful process… You can judge yourself with grace, meaning acceptance and kindness, but also reality.
“If you don’t like what’s happening to your stomach, do sit-ups. Maybe stop drinking as much. Those things to me are graceful.”
When it comes to her hair, Brooke insisted she isn’t a fan of how going grey makes her face look.
She added: “I’m not going to let my hair go grey… I’m not going to let my roots grow in because I’m not ready for that yet. I don’t like what it does to my face.”

Anne Hathaway and Cillian Murphy joins forces for Versace Icons

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway and Cillian Murphy have joined forces for a new Versace Icons campaign.
The ‘Princess Diaries’ star and ‘Oppenheimer’ actor have come together to promote the fashion house’s new brand, having both worked with the company in the past.
She said: “Versace is more than brilliant prints, powerful tailoring, and its iconic legacy — it’s a dream realized, an invitation to move beyond the ordinary and live as though the everyday was exceptional.
“I’m so grateful to Donatella Versace for seeing me in this collection; truly she sees me even more clearly than I see myself.”
The collection includes an evening dress made from a lighter version of Vescace’s metal mesh, as well as Medusa ’95 bags, tailored coats and jackets in fine grain de poudre wool, and dresses made with jersey or printed silk.
Cillian added: “I really feel comfortable wearing the pieces from this Versace Icons collection.
“When you see, feel and wear the clothes, it’s immediately clear that these are pieces of design with a sense of heritage, craftsmanship, and a real strength of character that is, for me, truly Versace.”
The collection was announced in April 2023, and Donatella Vescace was delighted to have Anne on board for the unveiling last year.
She said at the time: “I am a huge fan of her work, of course, but more than that, I admire her as a woman.
“She is a huge star, she is a businesswoman, she is creative, and she is exceptionally kind. That is what makes a Versace Icon.”

Taylor Swift sparks glitter freckle trend

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has sparked a surge in demand for glitter freckles after wearing them to a football game this week.
The 34-year-old pop star turned out to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce when his team Kansas City Chiefs took on the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Monday night (07.10.24) and she wore the Chief’s red and white colours across her face in the form of Fazit’s Red Speckles Makeup Patches.
Now Fazit Beauty co-founder Aliett Buttelman has revealed Taylor surge in demand of 1,000 per cent, telling WWD.com: “In the last 12 hours, sales and web traffic have skyrocketed by over 1,000 per cent. Urban Outfitters sold out yesterday, and now, every retailer is reaching out to us.”
Fazit’s Makeup Patches sell for $15.99 and come in colours including silver, purple, red, gold, and rose gold. They are applied like a temporary tattoo and are easily removed.
A post on the brand’s Instagram page stated: “We’re feeling all the emotions today! Seeing our glitter freckles featured in so many press articles after Taylor Swift rocked them is beyond a dream come true!
“What started as a small idea is now in the spotlight, and it wouldn’t have been possible without YOU, our amazing community. We’re just getting started, and the future is shining brighter than ever.”
Taylor’s fans are often quick to snap up products worn by their idol and items she wears often sell out quickly.
The singer previously sparked a surge in demand for denim shorts after she was seen wearing a crystal-encrusted pair to a Chiefs game in October last year – with the design by Area swiftly selling out.
She also prompted a sell-out of a Chiefs-branded windbreaker jacket from Wear by Erin Andrews after wearing it to another game last year.

Sydney Sweeney isn’t ‘the best’ at doing her own make-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Sydney Sweeney keeps her beauty routine “simple” because she isn’t “the best” at doing her own make-up.
The ‘Euphoria’ star has confessed she isn’t very good at styling herself and usually relies on her make-up artist to create her looks so when she is faced with doing it herself she tries to keep it as “simple as possible”.
Sydney shared the contents of her beauty bag in a video for Vogue.com, revealing her favourite products. She said: “This is kind of like whenever I need a refresher.
“So we’ve got some Kerastase hair oil, my [Giorgio Armani] My Way [perfume], I don’t leave anywhere without this. Like this is a perfect travel size. I use it non-stop.”
Sydney went on to explain why she doesn’t carry much make-up. She said: “I’m not the best at doing my makeup. [Make-up artist] Mel does my make-up.
“And so when I have to do my own make-up, I try to stay as simple as possible.”
Sydney then revealed her “simple” beauty routine, saying: “So I usually will just use the Armani Luminous Silk concealer and just do like little spot cover-up wherever I might have a breakout or under my eyes.
“And then I love blush, so I’ll mix this Luminous Silk Cheek Tint and I just put on the back of my hand, mix it, and paint it with my fingers.
“I love make-up that you can just like do with your hands.”
As she emptied out the contents of her hand bag in the video, Sydney revealed she also carries a wig to disguise herself when out in public as well as headphones, a phone charger, gummie bears, a book and a first-aid kit as well as beauty essentials by Laneige – the Bouncy and Firm Eye Sleeping Mask and the Lip Glowy Balm.

Hailey Bieber has continued her beauty routine since giving birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber has managed to stick to her usual beauty routine since giving birth.
The 27-year-old model has been married to pop star Justin Bieber, 30, since 2018 and she gave birth to son Jack in August but has so far managed to maintain the same skincare regimes that she carried out before and during her pregnancy because it all fits “perfectly” into her new life as a mother.
She told Glamour UK: “Honestly, I do feel like my beauty routine is fairly the same as it was my whole pregnancy – and even before. Right now, my routine in the morning is basically just hydration, a little vitamin C if I remember to do it and SPF, and then it’s like I brush up my eyebrows and we’re out.
“That was kind of how I did things before and it fits perfectly into the way that life is now.”
But the Rhode founder has urged her fans to think about all parts of their body when it comes to skincare and found that a new “mom hack” is always making sure that she carries her design of body butter with her amongst the baby’s things to stop her own skin from drying out.
She said: “When you think about keeping the skin nourished and healthy as you are getting older, you do think about your neck, your chest, your hands, your body. My new mom hack is that I throw the mini Barrier Butter into my little changing bag that I have with me when I go anywhere. And then I have it for my hands. When you spray hand sanitiser – I’m doing that every three seconds these days – you get so dry.”
