Pamela Anderson won’t be defined by others

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson doesn’t want to be “defined” by other people.
The ‘Last Showgirl’ actress – who has sons Brandon, 28, and Dylan, 27, with ex-husband Tommy Lee – has made the decision to stop wearing make-up in public and she explained the “experiment” allowed her the chance to be true to herself and find “joy” in her life and work.
She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “You know, I’m 57 years old. A lot of my career was about physicality, and it’s been a journey.
“But it’s also been part of the reason why I’ve kind of done this experiment with myself; just to peel it all back, remember who I am, and not be defined by what people do to me, but defined by what I do, and just to have passion for the work and not become bitter or jaded, still finding joy in the process, in life and in this business.”
The former ‘Baywatch’ star insisted it is important for people to keep believing in themselves and to strive for new challenges outside of their comfort zones.
She said: “Even if people don’t believe in you, you have to believe in you and push yourself because it’s very easy to pigeonhole somebody – so you have to find reasons to keep blowing people’s minds.”
Pamela has enjoyed being in her 50s and thinks it is an “inspirational” time.
She said: “I think being a woman in your 50s is inspirational. I’ve got off all the roller coaster of emotions over the last few decades. I barely even remember them, but here I am, and with all this experience.”
The blonde beauty previously admitted her representatives and her sons were unsure about her decision to go make-up free, but their opinions only strengthened her resolve.
She told CR Fashion book: “My agents and even my kids were like, ‘Mom, you can’t, you need the glam team!’ And I said, ‘No, what are you talking about? The fact that you guys are saying that to me makes me not want to do it more! I’m going to do a fresh face, no makeup, not pretend no-makeup.’ And I just felt free.
“No one looked at me and went, ‘Aggghhhh!'”

Tom Daley mistaken for diving partner’s dad

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Daley was mistaken for his diving partner’s dad.
The 30-year-old Olympian – won silver in the 10 metre platform synchronised event at the Paris Games this summer with 24-year-old Noah Williams – found it “scary” to enter a new decade this year because he’d always assumed people in his sport who were in their 30s were “ancient”.
He told the Times magazine: “Turning 30 was scary. When I saw 30 year olds diving, I thought, they need to give it a rest. They would complain, ‘My back…’ Now I feel bad for all the people I thought were ancient.
“When I ordered a margarita the other day, I was asked for my ID. I thought, I’ll take that!
“But when I got asked if I was my synchro partner Noah’s dad, I was like, ‘No, I’m not his blooming dad.’ ”
Tom announced his retirement from diving after the Olympics and he’s looking forward to spending more time with husband Dustin Lance Black and their children Robbie, six, and 18-month-old Phoenix.
He said: “In retirement, I want to do more travelling with the kids. I’ve travelled all my life for diving competitions. We’re planning on doing a bit of rail travel around Europe now that I can. It’s a lot easier to travel around Europe by train than in the US.”
And the sportsman admitted he is ready to start the “rest of [his] life”.
He said: “I have to hang up my trunks and start the rest of my life. I’ve been the oldest on the team for a long time now.”
Tom and his husband have found having two children a big adjustment.
He said: “The change from one to two children is huge. Robbie [his elder son, six] has just started getting to the age where he is like a human being. It’s never easy but it’s a lot easier than the newborn and toddler stage.”

Disney+ confirm details of new Beatles documentary

OHMYGOSSIP — A new Beatles documentary produced by Martin Scorsese is coming to Disney+.
‘Beatles ’64’ – which is directed by David Tedeschi – will focus on the “electrifying moment” of the legendary group’s first visit to America, and the global impact of the band at that time.
The film includes never-before-seen footage of band members Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison, as well as the fans who helped fuel their rise to them becoming the most influential group of all time.
‘Beatles ’64’ will take viewers back to the moment the ‘Hey Jude’ hitmakers arrived in New York City to unprecedented excitement ahead of their performance on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show’ – which became the most watched TV event of its time, attracting 73 million viewers – and shining a light on the bond between the band.
The film will feature rare footage filmed by Albert and David Maysles, restored in 4K by Park Road Post in New Zealand, as well as live clips from the group’s first US concert at the Washington DC Coliseum, newly-filmed interviews with surviving Beatles Paul and Ringo, and discussions with fans whose lives were transformed by the band.
As well as Martin, Paul and Ringo, the documentary is produced by Olivia Harrison, Sean Ono Lennon, Jonathan Clyde, Mikaela Beardsley, with Jeff Jones and Rick Yorn serving as executive producers.
‘Beatles ’64’ will stream exclusively on Disney+ from November 29.
News of the project comes after Sir Sam Mendes’ announced earlier this year that he would be directing four separate films about the Fab Four.
According to The InSneider, Harris Dickinson is to star as Lennon, Paul Mescal will play McCartney, Barry Keoghan is to portray Starr and Charlie Rowe will be Harrison.
The films are set to be interconnected stories with one from each band member’s perspective.
It marks the first time ever that The Beatles and their Apple Corps. company have granted full life story and music rights for a scripted film.
The movies are being made by Sony Pictures and Mendes’ Neal Street Productions company with a planned 2027 cinematic release.
It has not yet been revealed if all four films will be released at the same time or whether they will be staggered across the year but Sony promised an “innovative release cadence”.

Mark Strong learned a lot from ‘Dickensian’ childhood

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Strong believes his “Dickensian” childhood was a “blessing”.
The 61-year-old actor has never met his birth father and was sent to live at Reedham Orphanage in Surrey when he was six years old, with the boarder children in charge of their own laundry and bed making, before being taken to local primary schools by bus every day, and the ‘Cruella’ actor had no choice but to develop confidence and resilience.
He told The Sunday Times newspaper’s Culture magazine: ““It was essentially a home for single-parent children from London. I think it was called the Asylum for Fatherless Children in those days.
“We were in the Surrey stockbroker belt so everyone else was impeccably turned out, and we were the Reedham kids who turned up in a Transit van. So in that environment you have to stake your claim somehow…
“I hear myself talking about it, and it sounds Dickensian, but it was fine, and I was lucky to have the opportunity to go somewhere like that.
“The education was enough to get me to pass my 11-plus, and go on to grammar school….
“I’ve spoken to friends who say: ‘Oh, that teacher got me into drama…’ And I didn’t have anybody like that, and I didn’t miss having anybody like that.
“I had a childhood that relied on me working it out for myself. And there was an empowerment in that. There wasn’t a father telling me what to do, there wasn’t anyone to emulate.
“I literally had to make it up. And I’m sure that was a blessing.”
Mark believes his biological father is still alive but has no contact with him.
He said: “He doesn’t want to meet me.”
Asked if his mother is in contact with him, he said: “No, no. It’s such a long time ago. It’s almost another lifetime.”

Ian Somerhalder regrets behaviour on Lost set

OHMYGOSSIP — Ian Somerhalder regrets his behaviour on the set of ‘Lost’ because he used to show up late and complain about the food.
The ‘Vampire Diaries’ star, 45, got his big break playing Boone in the hit mystery TV show back in 2004 but the actor admits he wasn’t always professional and wishes he could go back and change the way he acted.
When asked to name regrets about his career, Ian told PEOPLE: “I don’t think I would really change anything other than maybe with ‘Lost’.
“I maybe complained about craft service or something, showed up late twice, actually really late once. I was so tired from the night before, I slept through my alarms. That’s about as far as I can go.”
Ian has since stepped away from Hollywood to focus on raising his children with wife Nikki Reed and running their family farm but he looks back fondly on. his time in ‘Lost’ and the ‘Vampire Diaries’.
He added to the publication: “Once you reach a certain level, you’re like, ‘Okay, I want to focus on family and the future of farming and food and energy and the big things.’ I don’t need to chase awards and anything that would make me feel better about myself …
“It feels like it [the height of his fame[ was yesterday. But then also too, you realise this was sort of lifetimes ago. I feel such enormous gratitude for this piece of IP and the journey and the character and all the writing both from ‘Lost ‘and from ‘Vampire Diaries’.
“But that path has gotten me to where I feel most authentic anyway, which is in a pair of cowboy boots, feeding the cows and running horses.”
Ian – who is dad to daughter Bodhi, seven, and a one-year-old son – previously insisted he’s happy focusing his life on his family and his work as an environmental campaigner.
He told E! News: “I stepped away from acting a little over four years ago to raise my kids, build my companies and get these films launched.”
In 2020, Ian narrated the documentary ‘Kiss the Ground’, which focuses on regenerative farming and the impact of climate change.
The actor has always been passionate about environmental issues, but fatherhood gave him a sharper focus.
He shared: “By using healthy soil management practices, we are building a secure future today, or tomorrow. And once you do have children, you realise I am no longer alone here. I am leaving this to my children …
“As a parent, you never want to have to look at your kids and say, ‘I’m sorry.’ You want to be able to look at your children and say, ‘We did something. And as a result of that we secured our future’.”

Woody Harrelson ‘shut down’ Cheers set with ‘horrible vegan farts’

OHMYGOSSIP — Woody Harrelson’s “vegan farts” caused production to shut down on ‘Cheers’.
The 63-year-old actor – who has followed a plant-based diet for over 30 years – can next be seen opposite Simu Liu in survival thriller ‘Last Breath’ and his podcast co-host Ted Danson was keen to ask the ‘Barbie’ actor about his experiences filming in close quarters with his pal because of the gassy problems he’d caused on the classic sitcom.
Appearing on Woody and Ted’s podcast ‘Where everybody Knows Your Name’, Simu was asked by the ‘Three Men and a Baby’ actor: “Did you shoot in that chamber where you have to be onboard the ship — what is it called?”
He clarified: “Yeah, the sat chamber.”
Woody interjected: “It wasn’t an actual sat chamber. I mean, it was, but it wasn’t.”
Ted then noted: “It was close quarters, though.
“There’s a reason why I bring this up. When I worked with Woody, it was a huge sound stage, but his vegetarian farts were so horrible that he would shut down production. I’m just wondering what happened with you.”
Woody said: “Excuse me, but it was ‘vegan’ farts.”
His 76-year-old pal quipped: “Vegan. Sorry, vegan, which gives it an actual pecan.”
Simu said: “They were vegan farts to be fair. You were really nice. I think you were really nice about it.”
Woody, 63, insisted there was a reason why he gave off so much gas.
He said: “That was back when I didn’t chew my food.”
The revelation can a few weeks after ‘Men In Black’ director Barry Sonnenfeld recently claimed the film’s set had to be cleared for three hours after star Will Smith farted “so bad” while he and Tommy Lee Jones were “hermetically sealed” inside a pod.
He told Kelly Ripa on her ‘Let’s Talk Off Camera’ podcast: “They have to be put in this device, which is [a car] that transforms into a hyper car, and [they’re] going to go through the Midtown tunnel upside down. We have to bring a ladder over on wheels like it’s like the old days when you would get on airplanes from the tarmac. We get them up there and we put them in the thing and we turn it upside down and we’re ready to shoot…
“There are locks to prevent it from opening and falling.
“I say, ‘Roll camera,’ and I hear Will Smith go, ‘Oh Jesus, so sorry. Tommy, so sorry. Baz, get the ladder.’ And you hear Tommy saying, ‘That’s fine, Will. No worries, Will. Don’t worry, Will.’ ”
Barry was initially clueless as to why the star was apologising.
But then he added: “So we race the ladder over. Yeah, Tommy reaches his leg out as the ladder is coming over, races down the stairs. And what happened was, Will Smith is a farter. It’s just some people are [farters].”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis has “retired” from Halloween.
The 65-year-old actress – who is best known for her portrayal of Laurie Strode in multiple movies in the ‘Halloween’ franchise over the last four decades – no longer feels any “pressure to go all out” for the spooky holiday on 31 December, so won’t be following tradition and decorating her house.
She told People magazine: “I have retired my pumpkins. I have hung up my butcher knives. I have stepped away from the vehicle. I am bowing gently to others who are taking up the mantle.”
Discussing her decoration plans, she added: “Nothing. Zip.”
The ‘Freaky Friday’ star – who has Annie, 37, and Ruby, 28, with husband Christopher Guest – insisted she no longer has a reason to do anything to mark the occasion.
She joked: “Nobody comes by our house except my neighbour and we do that at like three o’clock.

And Jamie won’t be watching her own horror films on Halloween.
She quipped: “No, what kind of life do you think I have?”
Jamie made her debut as Laurie in 1978’s ‘Halloween’ and her last appearance came in ‘Halloween Ends’ two years ago.
The actress previously admitted saying goodbye to her alter ego was “very tough”.
In a behind-the-scenes clip from Entertainment Weekly, an emotional Jamie said: “The whole concept of a horror movie is to stimulate emotions, and the making of it does the same thing.
“So to have done it three times with a group of people, and knowing that I’m not going to get to do it again with that same group of people, really has been very tough for me.
“It will be difficult to say goodbye to this group of people.
“Thank you so much for all of it.”

Prince William made up excuses to get out of wife’s family game nights

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William used to make up excuses to get out of his wife’s family’s games nights.
The royal, 42, got married to Kate Middleton in 2011, and it’s now been confirmed he found the activities far too competitive to take part in – and would say things like he wanted to walk the Middletons’ dog to avoid battling it out with his future in-laws.
Catherine, Princess of Wales’ younger brother James Middleton, 37, made the admission during an appearance on the ‘Walking the Dog’ podcast with author and animal lover Emily Dean.
She told him on the show: “The Middletons are quite competitive, and they love a game, don’t they?
“And then you made poor William play, and he found it too competitive and actually used to make excuses.”
Emily was referring to a tale in James’ memoir ‘Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life’, which came out in September – with the title referring to his pooch who died in 2023.
He told the podcaster about William’s aversion to the Middletons’ games nights: “It was after family dinner, we would be sat there and the cards would come out, and (William would) perhaps see if Ella needed a walk or make an excuse to get down from the table.
“‘Racing Demon’ is probably the most fast-paced, competitive one that we all play together.”
James had said in his autobiography: “Ella gives (William) a good excuse to escape the fiercely competitive nature of the Middleton family, which emerges every time we play our favourite fast-paced card game, ‘Racing Demon’.
“William flinches at our ruthless determination to win at all costs.
“He’s delighted to be the first out, and when no longer compelled to take part, he slinks off to cuddle Ella.
“I think he’d prefer to absent himself from the game entirely.
“‘James, does Ella need a walk?’ he asks before we’ve even started dealing the cards.
“My sisters and I exchange a knowing glance: William, for all the competitive rigor of his military training, is happy to be a loser at cards.”
James added his paternal grandmother would “thrash” them at the game, even into her eighties.
He said: “She was able to sort of reach across the table and put her cards down and, while we were still sort of trying to sort our cards out, she would almost have finished her deck.”
James is the youngest of Carole and Michael Middleton’s three children, behind eldest sister Catherine, 42, and 41-year-old Pippa Middleton Matthews.

Rob Lowe finds it ‘surreal’ he inspired Halloween costumes at height of fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Lowe finds it “surreal” he inspired Halloween costumes at the peak of his fame.
The 60-year-old actor, who became a Hollywood ‘IT boy’ in the 1980s thanks to his appearances in hit films including ‘St Elmo’s Fire’, made the admission as he reflected on the impact his roles have had on popular culture.
He told People about his reaction to people dressing up as his bratty characters: “It was surreal.”
Rob added the first time he spotted strangers in costume as one of his characters was after he played party boy Billy Hicks in ‘St Elmo’s Fire’.
He said: “I remember being on a balcony, looking down and somebody getting out of a car dressed like my character with a saxophone over their back and the shaggy hair, earring and the Hawaiian shirt.”
At his height of his fame, Rob also had fans breaking into his house and stealing his underwear – with police often having to break up screming mobs of his followers.
He added about the period: “It was crazy stuff. It’s the kind of stuff you look back on and go, ‘Did that really happen?’
“I remember them having to bring me on and off the set of ‘St Elmo’s Fire’ in a police car, and that wasn’t the first or only time.
“The stories I have are mental, they’re nuts.
“It was an incremental process to occupying that place in the culture that I did in the ’80s, and it was a lot.
“I’m super grateful that I can say that I had that in my life, because very few people get to be that person.
“Every decade there’s a new crop and society demands it.
“It’s fun to watch that unfold having been there.
“Today it would be (Justin) Bieber, Taylor Swift – I don’t know if it’s Austin Butler – whoever it is today, there’s always going to be somebody living that life.”

Kanye West ‘used his office as sexual playground’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West allegedly used his office as a “sexual playground”.
The scandal-plagued rapper, 47, who has been hit with a string of lawsuits by former employees since his infamous ant-Semitic outbursts, is facing the accusation in an 86-page lawsuit filed by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta.
Details from the filing have been released by various media outlets over the last 48 hours, with the latest being that his office was a centre for the rapper to indulge his kinks.
DailyMail.com also revealed the papers contain an allegation from OnlyFans model Lauren his wife Bianca Censori, 29, acted as his “orgy coordinator”.
Lauren is suing Kanye for sexual harassment and stalking during her employment with the rapper between 2021 and 2022.
She first launched a lawsuit against the performer in June, but recently added amendments to her filing.
Lauren says in her papers Kanye’s alleged workspace “sexual playground” was made up of a “makeshift bedroom” she claims was often set up for the musician with a mattress, pillows, and blanket in a private room or closet.
Her suit also states Kanye regularly hosted sex parties at luxury hotels and tried to “expose” her to the orgies.
It added his wife Bianca was his former “sex-party participant” and “coordinator”.
Kanye has previously denied her claims, branding any allegations from Lauren “baseless”.
Lauren’s lawsuit says he “roofied” her using a drink before raping her at a party with disgraced rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 54, who is now in jail in New York awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution.
Her filing also says Kanye had an “obsession” with wanting to bed his partners’ mothers, which she said was part of his “kink”.
Kanye allegedly messaged Bianca on 28 September, 2022 saying he wanted to have sex with her mother Alexandra, who was visiting from Australia at the time.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs facing series of fresh sexual assault lawsuits

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing a series of fresh sexual assault lawsuits.
The 54-year-old rap mogul – awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges in a Brooklyn prison cell – was hit with the new claims on Monday (14.10.24) when a tranche of legal papers filed in the Southern District of New York accused him of raping, drugging, sodomising and threatening to kill multiple alleged victims.
Court documents obtained by Page Six show one unidentified female claimed Combs raped her in 2004 after the then-19-year-old was allegedly invited to a photo shoot, and then to his Marriott hotel room in Manhattan.
At an “exclusive party” the college student was allegedly taken to a “separate room” away from the main party where she said the door was locked and she claims Combs assaulted her and her friend.
Diddy then “threatened to have them both killed” if they did not agree to his demands.
Another filing from an unnamed male says Combs committed aggravated sexual assault at a Macy’s department store stockroom in 2008.
The man claimed he was confronted by the rapper and two of his bodyguards who threatened to “kill” the victim as the songwriter allegedly performed a sex act on him.
Another unidentified man accused Combs of drugging and sodomizing him in a van outside of a White Party in 2006.
He claimed the Grammy winner “dismissed” his pleas for help by telling him he would “be alright.”
A fourth alleged victim, who is female, said in her filing Combs raped her at a 1995 party.
The gathering was said to have been put on to promote late rapper Biggie Smalls’ ‘One More Chance’ music video.
She alleged Combs “violently” hit her before he allegedly raped her.
The latest civil lawsuits against Combs were all filed by lawyer Tony Buzbee, who announced earlier this month he is representing more than 120 alleged Combs victims.
Combs has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing since he was arrested on a federal indictment in September.
He is being held without bail after pleading not guilty.

Rob Lowe spent years coming to terms with ‘unease’ over fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Lowe spent years coming to terms with his “unease” over fame.
The 60-year-old actor, was shot into the spotlight as a hard-partying Hollywood ‘IT boy’ in the 1980s thanks to his roles in films including ‘St Elmo’s Fire’, and has now admitted even though he enjoyed being globally recognisable, it wasn’t until he went into recovery treatment for his drink issues he realised the impact it had on his life.
Rob, who is 34 years sober, told People: “The unease I felt with it I could never put my finger on until many years later and a lot of self-reflection, which came with getting into recovery.
“I was intuitive enough in those days to sense the disconnect between me, who I was, the work I was doing, that was out there in the public and making this phenomenon, the hysteria, happen.”
Rob admitted he thinks the insanity of his fame is far eclipsed by what singer Taylor Swift, 34, deals with.
He said: “I watch that, and it’s what I went through on gazillion steroids.”
Rob recently revealed he got sober after he needed a swig of tequila to answer his mother’s call about his grandfather suffering a heart attack.
He told People in August: “Getting sober was an incremental decision. It’s baby steps until you’re ready. You can’t do it until you’re really ready.
“I remember (deciding to get sober) like it was yesterday – my mom telling me (on my answering machine) to ‘Pick up, pick up’ because my grandpa had had a heart attack.
“I couldn’t deal with it in the state I was in, and I needed to go to sleep to wake up so I could deal with it.
“Who doesn’t keep a bottle of Cuervo Gold (tequila) by their bedside table? “That was the final wake-up call. I’ve been sober ever since.”
