OHMYGOSSIP — Bethany Joy Lenz was part of a religious cult during her initial years of stardom.
The 43-year-old actress played Haley James Scott in the drama series ‘One Tree Hill’ in the early 2000s but reveals in her upcoming memoir ‘Dinner for Vampires Life on a Cult TV Show (While also in an Actual Cult!)’ that she had just been “looking for a place to belong” when she ended up devoted to a Christian group in Idaho that controlled her career, finances and other aspects of her life.
She told People: “I don’t think of [doing this book] as brave. I think of it as important. Living silently in the suffering I experienced, I don’t know if that helps anyone.
“I think of this more as the right thing to do. I had always been looking for a place to belong. We crave that kind of intimacy. The idea that someone out there says, ‘No matter what you do or how badly you might behave or what dumb choices you make, I still love you, and I’m here for you.”
The pastor running the group had persuaded members to move into a small commune and Bethany admitted that everything just looked “normal” but she was “too far” into it to notice anything untoward.
“It still looked normal. And then it just morphed. But by the time it started morphing, I was too far into the relationships to notice. Plus, I was so young.”
At the time, she was appearing on the hit TV show alongside Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty and Sophia Bush amongst others and noted that even her co-stars could see that she was part of a cult even if she didn’t realise it herself.
She said: “I could see it on their faces. But I’d justify it, like, ‘I couldn’t possibly be in a cult. It’s just that I’ve got access to a relationship with God and people in a way that everybody else wants, but they don’t know how to get it.”
“I was like, ‘No, no, no. Cults are weird. Cults are people in robes chanting crazy things and drinking Kool-Aid. That’s not what we do!”
In 2005, she married fellow cult member Michael Galeotti and they divorced in 2012, but it was their daughter Maria, 13, who served as the catalyst for her leaving it all behind.
She said: “The stakes were so high. They were my only friends. I was married into this group. I had built my entire life around it. If I admitted that I was wrong … everything else would come crumbling down.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Francesca Eastwood was arrested for domestic violence last weekend.
The 31-year-old socialite – who is the daughter of Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood and his former partner Frances Fisher – is in a relationship with Alexander Wraith, and the pair were driving around Beverly Hills on Saturday (12.10.24) night when they got into a “verbal argument” before she allegedly got physical, law enforcement explained to TMZ.
Sources told the outlet that Alexander,45, “called the cops and police advised him to drive to the Safety Zone” and after police noticed that he had signs of “visible injuries”, she was arrested for felony domestic violence.
TMZ also reported that Alexander “refused medical aid” and online records have revealed that the former reality star posted $50,000 bail and was released from custody.
Francesca and her famous family are yet to address the incident publicly.
The news comes just months after Francesca – who has six-year-old Titan with her partner – explained that her father was so “strict” with her growing up so there is a contrast between her own childhood and how she parents now.
She told FoxNewsDigital: “I mean, [he’s] just the sweetest.
“You know, my dad was very strict and my mom — both my parents were very strict with me when I was a kid.
“And it’s so lovely and sometimes bittersweet to just see how just doting and just classic grandpa and grandma to their grandson who can do no wrong.”
The ‘Outlaws and Angels’ actress also explained that it is “fantastic” that her parents are so involved in the life of their grandchild and wants to “nurture” the relationship as much as she can.
She said: “But it’s lovely. And they have their own relationship that I’m obviously involved in. They’re fantastic, and they’re so present.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan is struggling to decide on a Halloween costume for her son.
The 38-year-old actress has Luai, 15 months, with her husband Bader Shammas and is eager to buy “so many” outfits for the upcoming spooky season and intends to dress the little one in several different ones in a bid to make as many different “photo memories” as possible.
She told People: “I’m still trying to decide what I want him to wear, but my problem is I always buy so many costumes. And he’s still at the age where I can just make him wear five different things because I just want all those photo memories.”
The ‘Freaky Friday’ star was then asked if she is a “regular mom or a cool mom”, in reference to a line uttered by the character of Mrs. George (Amy Poehler) in her 2004 film ‘Mean Girls’, in which she played homeschooled teenager Cady Heron.

The ‘Parent Trap’ actress recently noted that she is just thrilled to be able to “see life” through the eyes of her son every day and described him as a “bundle of joy”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelsea Ballerini ended up in therapy in the years after she found fame.
The 31-year-old country star – who was married to Morgan Evans from 2017 until 2022 – had initially attended therapy sessions as a teenager when her parents divorced but it wasn’t until the years after she made it big in music that she started to feel “removed” from her childhood friends in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennesee and she sought professional help again.
She told Women’s Health: “I’d been on the road for four years, and I was exhausted. I was marriedand I was looking around at all my friends who have 9-to-5 jobs and still live in my hometown, and I was realizing I felt really removed, really different. I was starting to have questions like, What is driving me?
“Is missing Mom’s birthday worth it? Am I okay? And am I happy? I couldn’t answer these fundamental questions I should have been able to answer, so I got back into therapy, by my choice, and fell in love with it.”
The ‘Two Things’ hitmaker now has bi-weekly therapy sessions and initially had “no idea” what she wanted to discuss with her therapist, but ended up with a “better understanding” of things by the time she had finished her first day.
She said: “My therapist asked me to bring in letters, journals, and pictures from my childhood that are significant to me.
“I went in having no idea what I wanted to talk about. I just wanted to dig deeper. We started in the morning, and it lasted seven hours. [By the end], I was exhausted, but I had a better understanding of a lot of things. I had the time to really untangle them.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lizzo thinks she can “only be cancelled by God”.
The 36-year-old pop star has endured a considerable amount of public scrutiny in recent years for various reasons but claimed that she will continue to discuss things that are “important” to her and that only a higher power can decide her fate.
Speaking as part of a panel at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit, she said: “I’ve been cancelled for everything at this point. Only God can cancel me now. I think that I talk about the things that are important to me, and I talk about the things that I can bring a difference to, and I think those are my boundaries now with the public.”
Just over a year ago, the ‘About Damn Time’ hitmaker was accused of creating an “abusive work environment” and she was eventually sued by some of her former backing dancers who claimed that they had been “sexually harassed and weight-shamed” during their time of employment.
In December, Lizzo’s team filed a motion to dismiss the case and the lawsuit was put on hold three months later.
The ‘Juice’ singer – whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson – has always denied the claims, and took to social media when the news first broke to insist that the whole situation was so “outrageous” that she had to speak out about it.
She wrote on Instagram: “These last few days have been gut wrenchingly difficult and overwhelmingly disappointing. My work ethic, morals and respectfulness have been questioned. My character has been criticized. Usually I choose not to respond to false allegations but these are as unbelievable as they sound and too outrageous to not be addressed.

The 37-year-old reality star has a theory that the controversial rapper – who has become known for making controversial statements in recent years – has said “too much” in recent years and the version that is presenting himself to the world right now isn’t actually him.
Speaking on her ‘Let’s Be Honest’ podcast, she said: “I think there are clones, and I think Kanye is a clone. Remember when he was talking a lot? He was really saying too much and the cabal didn’t like that.”
Kristin alluded to something the ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper had said recently and questioned what exactly happened when he stepped out of the spotlight for a period of time.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake E. Lee was “shot multiple times” while walking his dog.
The 67-year-old guitarist – who is best known for having served as lead guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne in the 1980s – was out in Las Vegas on Thursday (15.10.24) he was subject to a “random attack” but is “doing well” in intensive care.
A statement from Lee’s representative read: “As confirmed by management, legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee was shot multiple times early this morning in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting.”
“Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital.
“He is expected to fully recover.”
“Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours.”
But the statement confirmed that as the incident is now a police investigation, no further comments or updates on the Badlands star will be made.
The statement concluded: “As the incident is under police investigation, no further comments will be forthcoming. Lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy at this time.”
A second statement, provided by local police, confirmed that the shooting had taken place and that the victim was quickly taken to receive medical attention.
It read: “On October 15, 2024, at approximately 2:42 a.m., LVMPD officers responded to a shooting incident in the 11000 block of Alora Street. Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.”
The rock star played as Ozzy’s lead guitarist from 1982 to 1985 before he was replaced by Zakk Wylde, and was contacted by the Black Sabbath rocker’s wife Sharon in the hope of a reunion but he refused to let it come to fruition unless he gained a songwriting credit for ‘Bark At The Moon’.
He told author Martin Popoff: “She tracked my phone number because I swear there were maybe a handful of people that had my phone number. Somehow she called me at home, and she told me that Ozzy was having problems with Zakk, and they were looking to replace him and if I’d be interested in doing some festivals and quite possibly the next record.
“I can’t let sleeping dogs lie.
“I said if we’re going to go forward, I want to fix the one problem I’ve had since the very beginning. I said I would like my name on the songwriting credits for ‘Bark At The Moon.’”

The 44-year-old singer – who tied the knot with ‘Hot In Herre’ hitmaker Nelly, 49, in 2023 – gave birth to baby boy Kareem in July and now her close friend Fat Joe has heaped praise on how she navigated things since entering the new chapter in her life.
He told People: “I am Uncle Joe, and she is the best mom in the world. And that baby is beyond beautiful. When they let you see that baby — like Muhammad Ali, that baby.”
The rapper – who duetted with Ashanti on the 2002 track ‘What’s Luv?’ – added that he “just kept bragging” to anyone who would listen in the weeks that followed the birth as he compared the little one to “royalty”.
He said: “I just kept bragging for like, a week to every random person I met. I was like, ‘Her baby’s crazy.’ Yo, he’s so beautiful. God bless this baby. I’m just done. Nelly and Ashanti — you know, they are beautiful. I’m telling you, this baby is different, he’s like royalty, and he sits there like — I don’t know how to explain it to you.”
But Fat Joe – who has Ryan, Joey and Azariah with Lorena Cartagena – cannot really offer any parenting advice to Ashanti because it seems to him that she has everything under control.
He said: “Ashanti has a real tight family, though. I think one of the reasons why she never got destroyed by this business is because she’s always had her mother, her sisters, around her father!”
Ashanti and Nelly actually kept the news of the birth to themselves for almost a month.
In August, a rep said: “Ashanti and Nelly welcomed their baby boy, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, on July 18, 2024. The proud and happy parents are so in love with KK!”

The 78-year-old singer stepped out onto the runway in black glittery cargo pants and strapless top, teamed with a long-sleeved cropped coat and diamonds, as well as a dark wig and transformed the space into a disco dance floor as she sang ‘Strong Enough’ and ‘Believe’ while models walked in red outfits mouthing along to the lyrics.
Before she took to the stage, photos of Cher’s iconic fashion moments from the past were displayed as a choir sang, and she then stepped out with a dozen dancers.
Ahead of the show, the veteran performer had insisted her outfit was “not a big deal”.
The ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ hitmaker – who had blonde hair when she arrived – added to pink carpet host Olivia Culpo: “Don’t expect that much”.
The all-women musical line-up also featured performances from Lisa and Tyla.
The Blackpink star admitted she was “super excited” to be involved.

The 39-year-old country music star has reflected on his criminal history and early struggles with the law, which stemmed from “deep-rooted insecurities” due to his weight as he tried to find “acceptance” wherever he could find it.
He told ‘On Purpose with Jay Shetty’: “I’d gotten a fight with a kid and back then they had the chain wallets.
“When we were wrestling, I grabbed a chain wallet to try to hit him with it, and that was a strong-arm robbery case.
“So I ended up in the system for like 20-something months when I was 13 for that strong-arm robbery.”
The ‘Save Me’ hitmaker admitted he still feels guilty for what happened, and he insisted he was “a really horrible kid” until his mid-20s.
He added: “I look back at those years, Jay, and I’m so embarrassed to talk about them.
“I was still a bad person in my early 30s, but I mean, I was a really horrible kid all the way into my mid-20s.
“People are always like, ‘You’re the nicest dude I’ve ever met.’ I’m like, ‘I’m so glad y’all haven’t met nobody that knew me 20 years ago.’ ”
Jelly wants to apologise to his robbery victim over two decades later, but he hasn’t “made it that far down” his list yet.
He added: “No matter how old I was, I had no business taking from anybody. Just this entitlement that I had that the world owed me enough that I could come take your stuff.
“What a horrible, horrible way to look at life and people, just what a horrible way to interact with the Earth.”
And the proud father-of-two wants his children Bailee Ann, 16, and Noah, seven, to learn from his past mistakes.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyra Banks returned to the runway for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday (15.10.24), almost 20 years after her modelling retirement.
The 50-year-old beauty made her comeback at the lingerie extravaganza – which made its return following a six-year break – by closing out the event at Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City in a black bustier with crystal embellishments teamed with a silver cape, leggings and strappy heels.
Tyra’s appearance was her first walk down the runway since 2005 and marked her ninth Victoria’s Secret show.
Adriana Lima made a triumphant return, having appeared at every Victoria’s Secret show from 1999 until 2018 except for 2009, when she was on maternity leave, donning a black underwear set with checked trousers and matching long-sleeved cut-out top and iridescent butterfly wings.
Former Angel Doutzen Kroes also made her comeback at the show, walking for Victoria’s Secret for the first time in 10 years.
The 39-year-old model suffered a minor mishap when she got her heel caught in a crack in the runway as she stepped out to Chappell Roan’s ‘Femininomenon’ but managed to free herself without the need of offered help from fellow catwalk star Imaan Hammam.
But while many familiar faces headed back to the runway, Kate Moss, 50, made her debut at the event – as did her daughter Lila, 22.
Kate wore black lingerie with a long sheer lace gown, strappy heels and black feather wings as she walked to Orianthi’s take on ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’, while Lila – whose father is Jefferson Hack – wore blush pink underwear and pink feathered sleeves. Instead of traditional wings, she accessorised with a custom art piece that read ‘Lila M’.
Sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid also made it a family affair, with the former opening the show, ascending from underneath the runway in a silky pink teddy teamed with silver heels and huge hoop earrings, as well as a pair of pink wings.
Bella closed out the show in a lacy red set teamed with red and black feather coat and matching heels, having recently ended her two-year modelling hiatus after taking a break to focus on her mental health and Lyme disease struggles.
Other models walking the runway on Tuesday for the event – which included an all-female musical line-up of Lisa, Tyla, and Cher – included Candice Swanepoel, Ashley Graham, Valentina Sampaio, and Paloma Elsesser.

OHMYGOSSIP — Deryck Whibley has threatened legal action against his former manager.
The Sum 41 frontman alleged in his new memoir ‘Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell’ that he was “groomed” by Greig Nori and “pressured” into a sexual relationship but after the Treble Charger singer insisted the ‘Fat Lip’ hitmaker, who was 16 when they met, had “initiated” things between them, Deryck has now hit back and denied he has lied about the situation.
In a video shared to Instagram, the rocker said: “I take no pleasure in coming out with the truth about what happened between me and my ex-manager, but it was something that I just couldn’t keep in anymore, and I had to let it out.
“It’s come to my attention that Greig Nori has now called me a liar. I tell you right now, I stand behind every word that’s in my book, 100 percent. I’m not a liar.
“Greig Nori, if you think I’m a liar, there’s only one way to settle this.
“Under oath, in front of a judge, in front of a jury. Anytime you want. I’m ready. Whenever you are.”
Deryck ended his message by thanking his friends, family and bandmates for their support.
He added: “We’ll get through this like we get through everything else.”
In his book, Deryck alleged his mentor – who is 18 years older – “passionately” kissed him in a bathroom during a night out when he was 18, leaving the singer confused and shocked as he had never been attracted to men before.
He claimed Nori urged him to explore their connection as many rock stars were “queer” and “most people are bisexual; they’re just too afraid to admit it.”
He added: “He was so relentless and convincing that after a while, I started to believe that maybe he was right.”
The manager told Deryck he had never been attracted to another man but he had “brought it out in him because what we had was so special.”
After experimenting with his sexuality for a few months, the ‘In To Deep’ hitmaker wanted to end their physical encounters but claimed Nori called him “homophobic” and got angry when he tried to call things off.
Deryck wrote: “He told me this was all my fault to begin with because I should never have said yes to it in the first place. I started this and now he was in it with me so I couldn’t just stop.”
He eventually told a mutual friend about their alleged relationship, who branded it “abuse”.
In response, Nori didn’t directly address the allegations of abuse or grooming but insisted he hadn’t instigated anything sexual with Deryck.
He told the Toronto Star newspaper in a statement: “The accusation that I initiated the relationship is false. I did not initiate it. Whibley initiated it, aggressively.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson misses her late brother Tito “so much”.
The ‘Together Again’ hitmaker’s older sibling passed away in September at the age of 70, and the 58-year-old singer has spoken out about her tragic loss for the first time as she marked a month since the Jackson 5 member’s death.
Sharing a black and white photo of herself as a child standing in front of Tito, who was wearing a fedora and printed shirt, Janet wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday (15.10.24): “May you rest in eternal peace [prayer emojis] I miss you so much! [heart emoji].”
Tito was taken to hospital after suffering a medical emergency at a shopping centre in New Mexico, and was pronounced dead at the medical facility on 15 September. An investigation into his passing is still ongoing.
The musician’s sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ – who performed as pop group 3T – previously declared they had been left “heartbroken” by his death.
In a post on Instagram, the trio wrote: “It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson is no longer with us.
“We are shocked, saddened and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being.
“Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5, some may know him as ‘Coach Tito’ or some know him as ‘Poppa T’.

Speaking at the Keynote Conversation on Wondermind’s Mental Fitness Summit alongside her mom Mandy Teefe recently, she shared: “I don’t have a lot of people in my life, [but] I know who my inner circle is.
“I have to talk things out. And I have a therapist too, but it’s also nice to have people around you who will just listen to you. There is a freedom in letting go of whatever it is that’s keeping you stuck and that lump in your throat.”
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star battles anxiety often and admitted it feels like “doomsday” whenever it takes over but shared how she is able to calm down by having a “positive conversation” with herself.
She continued: “I am a very anxious person. It’s kind of like doomsday, and I think having a positive conversation with yourself, even if that sounds weird, it’s really impactful.
“Like before I step out of the car, and there’s going to be lots of noises and stuff—if that’s the case, I’m not saying that’s every day—but I have to breathe, and I have to say, ‘All of this is a gift, and I may not be in the mood for this, [but] every time I see someone and end up making them smile, [it] always just makes my day no matter how I’m feeling.”
Selena then revealed that she never sleeps in her own bedroom because she spent so much time there when she was going through a low point in her life.
She added: “I’m a little bit different than my mom, because I spent too much time in my bedroom that I actually don’t even sleep in my bedroom anymore, because I associate it with such a really dark time.”

The 42-year-old pop idol has been “learning” about herself working on her follow-up to her 2023 memoir ‘The Woman in Me’, and reflected on how her relationships with her girlfriends has changed since they were younger.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she penned: “Women I genuinely admire and have crazy girl crushes on!!! Let’s talk about how your other half growing up is usually your best friend!!!
”Y’all literally finish each others sentences and you don’t really look alike but because you’re always together, your mannerisms, the way you speak, and even walk it’s almost like you’re the same f****** people!!!”
She went on: “Years go by and you get married and you grow up and live worlds apart!!! It’s called life!!!
“I have girlfriends I hang out with every now and then but it’s not the same as when we were younger!!! But why isn’t it??? I wanted to share the women who inspire me!!!”
The ‘Womanizer’ hitmaker went on to gush over the six famous females she adores: Pamela Anderson, 57, Natalie Portman, 43, Camila Cabello, 27, Kendall Jenner, 28, Selena Gomez, 32, and Drew Barrymore, 49.
She said: “Pamela Lee Anderson is a classic babe and seems so sweet!!!
“Natalie Portman because I feel like she’s the coolest person I ever met outside with her dog in New York and we had the same shirt on!!!
“Camila Cabello the singer because she’s so darn pretty and she makes me giggle out loud!!! Her personality is so sweet and kooky I think it’s healthy to be silly!!! I wish I was like that!!!”

She concluded: “Honestly I have no idea why I’m writing all this !!! I’m away writing my novel and learning about myself.
