Martha Stewart ‘dragged into solitary confinement’ in prison

OHMYGOSSIP — Martha Stewart was “dragged into solitary confinement” and deprived of food and water for a day during her stint in prison.
The lifestyle guru was sentenced to five months behind bars back in 2004 after being found guilty of charges relating to an insider trading case and she has now opened up about her experience at Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia – nicknamed Camp Cupcake – in a new Netflix documentary called ‘Martha’.
In the film, Martha’s prison diaries are read out and one extract reveals she was punished for accidentally touching one of the prison guards.
She wrote: “Today I saw two very well-dressed ladies walking and I breezed by them, remarking on the beautiful warm morning and how nice they looked.
“When I realised from the big silver key chain that they were guards, I lightly brushed the chain. Later I was called in to be told never, ever touch a guard without expecting severe reprimand.”
In an interview for the film, Martha added that she apologised for her mistake and put the incident out of her mind because it “was so minor”.
However, she was given a shock when she was given her punishment. She added: “I was dragged into solitary for touching an officer.
“No food or water for a day. This was Camp Cupcake, remember? That was the nickname. Camp Cupcake. It was not a cupcake.”
In the film, the star’s diaries described her living conditions. She wrote: “My room contains an old double-decker bedstead metal spring and metal frame.
“The springs are very saggy and thus an unhealthy bed set. I would actually prefer the top but over 62-years-old and you automatically are given a lower bunk.”
She added of the food: “What worries me is the very poor quality of the food and the unavailability of fresh anything as there are many starches and many carbs, many fat foods. No pure anything. Everything was terrible.”
Martha started her sentence in September 2004 and was released in March 2005.
‘Martha’ debuts on Netflix on October 30.

Chrissy Metz’ stepfather would ‘weigh her’ and ‘lock’ the food cupboards

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Metz has shared how her stepfather would “weigh her” and then “threaten to lock” the food cupboards.
The ‘This Is Us’ star – whose character on the hit drama series, Kate Pearson, struggled with weight and food issues – has detailed the “physical and emotional abuse” she faced at the hands of her stepparent over her size.
Chrissy, 44, recalled how her stepfather “would weigh me in the kitchen or threaten to lock the cupboards, and I’m like, ‘I don’t think you get it.'”
Appearing on ‘The Jamie Kern Lima Show’ podcast, she continued: “I think there’s so much more awareness now around food, food issues, food behaviuor … we educate people, the fear goes away. And maybe he was just fearful. I don’t really know.
“But yeah, I mean, [it was] definitely mental, physical, emotional abuse for sure.”
The ‘Breakthrough’ shared how people started treating her differently once she got famous, including no longer being bothered about sitting next to her on a flight.
She said: “Before the show, I could go on an airplane and someone could not want to sit next to me if they were too squished or they were going to be like, ’Oh, gosh, here comes a big girl that I have to sit next to.’
“But because now I’m on a TV show, they don’t care. Or they’re like, ‘Oh, well, you’re famous.’
“It was always like, they’re going to be bothered that I’m sitting next to them, or they wouldn’t look at me twice or they would not engage. And then when I became, let’s put it in air quotes, famous, then they want to have a conversation or they were more apt to want to sit next to me.”
Chrissy suggested people “feel cooler” sitting next to a celebrity.
She added: “It’s still something that my friends and I talk about because what does it really even mean? What could I provide to them or what insight could I share with them? I don’t know. Do they feel cooler sitting next to someone who’s famous? I don’t know.”
Having people judge her for her size has led to “trust” issues.
Chrissy admitted: “I don’t understand it.
“That kind of behaviour … it makes you not want to trust people.”

Dolly Parton dresses up as Granny Claus ‘every’ Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton dresses up as Granny Claus “every” Christmas.
The 78-year-old country music icon has no plans to stop her yearly tradition of playing the festive character, even if all the children in her family are grown up, and quipped that one day she will be “hobbling” down the chimney.
Speaking to Good Housekeeping UK’s December issue, she said: “I’ll do whatever I can to put a smile on their faces. Every year, I play Granny Claus – I get in my Santa Claus suit and I come down the chimney with my sack full of presents, Even though a lot of the children are grown-up now, they still expect me to do it. One day, I’ll be hobbling in that elevator!”
Christmas hits Dolly’s home in November on Thanksgiving and absolutely everything, even her hair, is decorated with lights, with the star admitting she loves to make the inside “tacky”.
She said: “These days, my Christmas starts in November. I have my house and my yard decorated, I put a cross on top of the chapel, and on the night of Thanksgiving, I flick the switch and it all goes on. Tourists come round and look at the outside of my house, so for their sake, it’s a bit less tacky out there, but inside I can tacky it up any way I please! I have Christmas trees in all the rooms, everything has lights on – and then we add more lights, and then more lights. I change all the decor up – the dishcloths and the curtains. Oh, and I have Christmas lights in my hair – I have them everywhere. I wear earrings that light up, a reindeer necklace that lights up, I wear sweaters with Christmas lights on – you push a button and I light up!”
When it comes to receiving gifts, Dolly – who is the fourth of 12 children and has teamed up with her sister Rachel Parton George, 65, on the recipe book ‘Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year Of Meals’ – insists she loves receiving costume jewellery, bags and purses.
However, the ‘Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square’ star confessed she gets someone else to buy her presents for her sisters, because she doesn’t believe she has great “taste”.
She said: “Everybody says to me, ‘Oh, I don’t know what to get you – what do you buy somebody who has everything?’ And I say, ‘Well, you get ’em something to put it in!’ I’m the easiest person on Earth to buy for because I love costume jewellery and tote bags and purses. As for my sisters, I usually send somebody out who has better taste than me to make sure they get them the really good stuff.”

Al Pacino donated pay from ‘exploitative’ movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Al Pacino donated his entire salary from an “exploitative” gay film to charity.
The 84-year-old Hollywood icon wrote in his new memoir ‘Sonny Boy’ that his donations were anonymous and had never revealed the fact until now, following his role in the 1980 crime thriller ‘Cruising’, which sees a serial killer targeting gay men.
He claims the producers of the William Friedkin film begged him to defend the movie, writing: “After all, they had paid me a lot of money, and I wasn’t going to just abandon them.
“But I wanted to go somewhere far away from the madness. I’d had enough.”
Despite giving his paycheque to a good cause, Pacino admitted he’s still not sure if it “eased his conscience”.
He added: “I never accepted the paycheque for ‘Cruising’. I took the money, and it was a lot, and I put it in an irrevocable trust fund, meaning once I gave it, there was no taking it back.
“I don’t know if it eased my conscience, but at least the money did some good.
“I didn’t want to make it a PR stunt, I just wanted one positive thing to come out of that experience.”
The ‘Godfather’ star played detective Steve Burns, who finds himself immersed in New York’s gay S+M subculture in a bid to hunt down a serial killer.
During filming, the flick was hit with backlash, with gay rights advocates protesting due to its “exploitative” nature.
However, he admits he “didn’t see it as that when I was doing it”, and was not “as sensitive” as he could have been back then.
Even though it initially received bad reviews, ‘Cruising’ went on to become a classic.
In his tell-all, Pacino penned: “To this day, it’s still the biggest film I ever did.
“The residuals still support me. I can live on it. I mean, if I lived like a normal person. But, it does contribute, let’s put it that way.”

Bill Maher admits his dating is ‘not age-appropriate’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bill Maher has described his dating as “not age-appropriate”.
The 68-year-old star was recently linked to Al Pacino’s ex-girlfriend Noor Alfallah after they were spotted on a night out together, but the 30-year-old film producer has insisted they are just friends.
Reflecting on his love life during an appearance ‘The Skinny Confidential’s Him and Her’ podcast, the comedian said he is single and not looking, while he isn’t interested in women his own age.
He said: “I’m not looking. I’m good.”
He added: “Nothing that I could have predicted when I was your age came to pass.
“Like I would never have imagined that at this age, anyone — and again, like I’ll say this just generally — my dating is not age-appropriate.”
While he didn’t go into specifics, Bill was asked if his romantic interests were ‘perceived in an unorthodox context, younger than what you should be dating?’
He responded: “Not just perceived, they literally are. The people who are p***** off at that, f*** you. You do you, I do me. You do what works for you.”
Bill also admitted he doesn’t “believe” in marriage for himself, and he has no plans to tie the knot.
He added: “I love to talk about this subject, but it’s tough because I also don’t really ever want to divulge the details of my own personal life.”
Noor recently spoke out to say she isn’t in a relationship with the stand-up and TV host.
She told TMZ about how they are strictly platonic while opening up about co-parenting with her “best friend”, Pacino, after they welcomed Roman into the world in June 2023.
Noor added: “Bill’s my friend – just my friend – Bill’s great though.”
She said she and the ‘Godfather’ star were not together but called co-parenting their boy Roman “amazing”.

Eva Mendes feels her best when Ryan Gosling looks at her

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Mendes feels “really f****** sexy” when Ryan Gosling looks at her.
The 50-year-old actress – who has daughters Esmeralda, 10, and Amada, eight, with her ‘Place Beyond the Pines’ co-star – admitted she gets a lot of confidence from her partner and knowing he still finds her attractive.
She told Sunday Times Style magazine: “I feel really f***ing sexy at times.
“The way my man looks at me is just … at times I’m like, oh my God. That might not sit well with people, but so much of how I feel is a reflection of what he’s giving me.
“There’s so many things that can make me feel sexy and I’d say that I feel more sexy than not. I guess because I’ve never considered myself beautiful, but I’ve always felt very sexy.”
Eva was “totally fine” when it came to reaching her milestone birthday in March but admitted it feels “crazy” to be in her fifties now.
She said: “It was totally fine. It’s just that number sounds crazy. I feel like a girl inside and I’m like, oh my God, I’m not a girl any more.”
The ‘Hitch’ actress – who hasn’t made a movie for a decade – isn’t “afraid” to try certain cosmetic treatments because she knows the effects of procedures such as Botox injections or filler will wear off eventually.
She said: “I’m not afraid to try things that are safe, because most of these little treatments, let’s say, are reversible.
“If you get Botox, it goes away if you don’t like it. There have been times where I’ve regretted something … and then you just wait it out.”
When it came to rebellion, Eva was a “late bloomer”.
She said: “It’s really stupid. I started smoking cigarettes at 28. And then I started drinking. I was a late bloomer.”
The ‘Training Day’ star ended up in rehab in 2008 as her career was taking off, but she doesn’t blame the pressures of Hollywood.
She said: “I feel like with my kind of spirit I’d have found unhealthy behaviours anywhere.
“I was so hungry for life. I still am. But I was leaving no stone unturned. I was like, ‘What’s over here? What’s over here?’ ”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s UK move has been a ‘grounding experience’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley believes moving back to the UK has been a “grounding experience” after living in Los Angeles.
The 37-year-old model/actress and her movie star partner Jason Statham, 57, spent many years in California before moving back to their home country in 2020 with Rosie revealing the couple wanted their two children – Jack, seven, and Bella, two – to grow up away from the spotlight.
She told the Telegraph newspaper: “Living back in the UK has been a really grounding experience for us. The fact that we can walk out of our front door and go and get a coffee and a loaf of bread [without paparazzi intrusion].
“We’d leave our home in LA and there’d be five cars following us down the block to the gym. Both Jason and I felt like it was really important for our children to not be impacted by our line of work.
“We wanted our kids to have a childhood away from cameras as much as we could.”
She went on to reveal the couple have promised not to show their children’s faces on social media or take them to any red carpet events – because she wants them to be able to choose whether they are in the public eye or not.
Rosie explained: “We made a rule that we wouldn’t share their faces on social media, and we’re not going to walk down the red carpet with them.
“Because I’ve seen that. I’ve seen children of celebrities whose parents didn’t give them that choice. It’s Jack’s choice and it’s Bella’s choice, whether they live in the public eye. If they want to, that won’t be a problem. But I just always feared my son turning round to me one day and saying, ‘You and Daddy didn’t protect me, I don’t want this’.”
It comes after Rosie admitted she keeps a balance between her work and home life by setting rules that mean she doesn’t take on jobs during the school holidays.
Speaking on the ‘Reign with Josh Smith’ podcast, she explained: “I think creating boundaries is, as a mum, a real struggle … For me when I’m with my children I try to be really present. When I go to work, I try to be really present, but there’s not a fine balance.
“There are periods where I’m really wanting to work more or, you know, I’m away and I’ve really missed the children. And then I’ll know I come back and I clear time.
“So what’s great is Jack is in school now, I make sure I take off all of the holidays, which is actually an enormous amount of time but that’s great because it allows me to really have these periods of time where I can very much focus.
“And it’s the small things as well, like day to day, like making breakfast together, the school run, school pickup, bedtime, bath time, story time, those moments, sitting down, eating together, going to the park and just making sure I’ve got those moments in there.
“As Jack’s getting older, my daughter is two, but as he’s getting older … it’s finding those little things where you build that connection with them every day.”

Kim Wilde feels sexier in her 60s

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Wilde feels sexier at 63 than she ever did in her 20s
The singer first shot to fame in the 1980s but Kim admits she never saw herself as a “pin-up” despite her sexy image and she now “cringes” when she sees old pictures showing her wearing skimpy outfits.
She told The Times newspaper: “Even now the odd picture of me showing too much flesh still turns up and I cringe, but that was the Eighties …
“I never saw myself as this pin-up. I never believed or felt I was that sexy … ”
Kim went on to add: “I used to try and walk this line between looking ‘all right’ and exploiting my sexuality but something changes for women when they get to 60.
“You gain a certain confidence and it feels time to embrace your sexuality. Be proud, be sexy and if you’ve got a great pair of t*** then why not make the most of them? I might get them out on my next tour. Who knows what I might do?
“All I know is I’m having more fun being me now than I ever did when I was 24 or 34.”
The singer added her new-found confidence came after she passed her 60th birthday, explaining: “When you hit 60 you get a free bus pass but you also get a free pass generally. Maybe it’s a menopause thing. I’m less self-inhibited. I assert myself more. … Like all women of a certain age, I’ve found my voice and I have moments of ‘don’t mess with me’.”
It comes after the ‘Kids In America’ hitmaker revealed she has turned to gardening in recent years and uses it to improve her mental health because working on her plants alleviates the “stress” that comes with performing.
She told OK! Magazine: “One of the reasons I was drawn out into the garden initially was to find a way of combating some of the stress elements of my life and career, so it’s certainly about mental health as well as physical health.
“And there’s nothing in the garden that isn’t physical, – even something easy like planting a bulb is physical because you have to prepare the ground which can be a real challenge. I go to the gym a couple of times a week to do weights and all that kind of stuff but the garden is like my second gym. It’s just part of who I am.
“I can’t imagine a year without gardening, in the same way I can’t imagine a year without singing. They’re like breathing to me. I love that I can keep learning and observing and be close to nature. There’s a very spiritual element to it.”

King Charles urged to ‘address the nation’ about alien life

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles has been urged to address the nation to “put fears at rest” if evidence is published that confirms life outside of Earth.
British academic Professor Simon Holland, who has collaborated with NASA on various projects, recently suggested scientists from Mark Zuckerberg’s Breakthrough Listen group were analysing data and preparing to make an announcement of having found evidence of “non-human extraterrestrial intelligence” in the Galaxy, and so ‘The King Of UFOs’ filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee has called on the monarch to take swift action if any official statement is made.
He said: “We are literally weeks away from the biggest discovery ever. If we have evidence to an intelligent advanced civilisation in our galaxy then we are no longer alone, contact may be made and then there will be important issues to be faced.
“With the Presidential election in the US the world’s leading superpower may be too distracted to deal with this properly. I urge our King and our prime minister Keir Starmer to step forward and help humanity deal with this profound moment.
“King Charles is an important figure in the world, he is a unifying figure one that wants to be defender of all faiths. Should we make contact with another civilisation in our galaxy it will raise important spiritual and philosophical questions.
“The King will have to address the nation in a King’s speech to put our fears at rest and to reassure his citizens.”
Mark – whose film examines the royal family’s links in UFOs and the paranormal – has previously spoken to Seth Shostak, the Chief Astronomer of SETI (Search For Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) who has been searching our galaxy for signs of life for over 40 years, and the expert thinks any discovery would have a huge impact.
Shostak says in Mark’s film ‘God Versus Aliens’ :”It will be like Columbus discovering the new world. An intelligent more advanced civilisation may bring its own gods, religion and beliefs and impose them on us. Or they might have none at all. Either way it might be like a reverse colonialism.”
Professor Holland explained recently Breakthrough Listen had found evidence of alien life “a few years ago” but were growing closer to making an announcement.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We have found a non-human extraterrestrial intelligence in our galaxy, and people don’t know about it…
“They found the evidence of a non-human technological signature a few years ago, using the Parkes telescope in Australia.”
‘The King of UFOs’ is out now on Amazon Prime Video.

Richard E Grant writes to late wife every night

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard E Grant writes letters to his late wife Joan Washington every night to help him process his grief.
The 67-year-old actor was left devastated when his wife of 38 years died aged 75 in September 2021 after a battle with lung cancer and he’s admitted he feels he will never “get over” the loss but he’s taken to writing down his observations of the day in letters to Joan in a bid to feel as if he’s having a “conversation” with her.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “I write to her every night. [I write down] everything. Stuff I know would amuse her. … I have no spiritual or religious delusion that I’m ever going to get a reply.
“But after 38 years of marriage, I can hear what her response would be. It feels as close a connection as I can have. And I’ve found it very hopeful, that at the end of the day I’m having a conversation.”
He added of his loss: “What I’ve found so difficult is not having her to download to, to download everything that has happened in my day …
“This platitude that ‘time heals’ … I don’t think it does. I think you navigate your way around it. You never get over it. And I’m not actively trying to get over it, either.”
Richard and Joan’s daughter Olivia got married over the summer and the actor revealed his wife had recorded a poem to be played at the wedding, but he decided it would be too emotional for guests so they had it read by someone else instead.
He explained: “It would have wiped everybody out … [Not having Joan there] that’s the brutal bit.”
He went on to reveal three female family friends stepped in to help Olivia in the run up to the wedding and he will be forever grateful for their kindness.
Richard said: “[They] appointed themselves her fairy godmothers, like something from Sleeping Beauty.
“They took her to buy her wedding dress. They took her to lunch. They’ve offered themselves up as mother mentors … ”

Marisa Abela relieved she can reject roles now

OHMYGOSSIP — Marisa Abela feels lucky she no longer feels she has “to always say yes” to new roles.
The 27-year-old actress’ career has soared thanks to her role in ‘Industry’ and as the late Amy Winehouse in biopic ‘Back to Black’ and she’s thankful she’s slowly gained “agency” over her work and can be more choosy.
She told Deadline: “For me, that has just changed. It doesn’t mean I can do whatever I want, but I’m right at the beginning of that new space where I don’t have to always say ‘yes’. This is about having agency.”
‘Back to Black’ also gave Marisa a desire to do more work behind the camera because she found it “hard” having spent so long filming and then having no impact as to what made the final cut.
She said: “You put so much into it physically and emotionally, and then you leave and a year later it’s different — things exist, and things don’t exist.
“That was hard. If I did a job like that again, it would be good to have a way of being in the room more.”
The actress faced a lot of scrutiny about her role in the biopic but once the film’s trailer was released, she “switched everything off” and paid no attention to the comments.
She said: “I firmly believe that the enemy of actors is self-consciousness. As soon as you start being vain, self-conscious or aware of yourself in the moment then you cannot be present.
“So much of being exposed in the way that we are can be linked with shame and I don’t think that’s a useful emotion in any way, so I’m proud I worked as hard as I did.”

Peter Andre ‘can’t imagine the loss’ suffered by Liam Payne’s son Bear

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre says Liam Payne’s death “resonates” with him because he has a son the same age as the singer’s boy Bear.
The One Direction star – who was dad to Bear, seven, with his ex Cheryl Tweedy – died last week after plunging from a hotel balcony during a trip to Argentina and Peter has now revealed he really feels for the singer’s young son who will have to grow up without a dad.
In his column for new! magazine, Peter wrote: “I was so sad to hear about the death of Liam Payne. It was such a shock to everybody, especially his family and friends and of course his fans.
“He was such a recognisable face around the world and loved by so many, it’s heartbreaking his life was ended so short. It really resonates with me being a father and also having a seven-year-old, and I can’t imagine that loss for his son too. Sending our love and thoughts to his family and friends.”
Peter is also dad to a seven-year-old son – Theo – with his wife Emily as well as daughter Amelia, 10, and her younger sister Arabella, who was born in April.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ star also has son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17, with his ex-wife Katie Price.
Tributes for Liam have poured in from around the world in the aftermath of his death last Wednesday (16.10.24).
The 31-year-old singer was remembered by his family in a statement, which read: “Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul. “We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.”
He was also remembered by his former One Direction bandmates Louis Tomlinson, 32, Zayn Malik, 31, Niall Horan, also 31, and 30-year-old Harry Styles – who were catapulted to global fame after being put together on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010.
The band released a joint statement to remember their co-star, saying: “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.
“But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.
“The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us.
“We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam. – Louis, Zayn, Niall and Harry. [sic]”

Liam Payne’s sister pays tribute to ‘angel’ brother

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s sister has remembered the late singer as an “angel” who “lived for making people smile”.
The former One Direction singer passed away last Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from his hotel room balcony in Argentina, and his older sibling, Nicola Payne, has paid a touching tribute to the star while suggesting she only found out about his tragic death via a news alert.
She wrote on Instagram along with a series of family photos: “I have posted about Liam and his achievements over the years with a proud sister alert and that has stood then, now and always!!!
“When I saw the news pop up on my phone that you had left us I went cold, I wanted so much for this to be untrue.
“I have spent days hoping that it was a mistake and somebody has got it wrong.
“You were truly too good for this earth, you are an angel who just lived for making people smile and happy.
“You have always shown kindness to everyone you met and it shows with just how many people have confirmed what we always knew!
“We don’t have many pictures together as we never really did that as a family, we never wanted you to feel like you were in a room of fans, but we were your biggest fans always and forever.
“Your talent alone puts you miles ahead, but also you being you.”
Nicola reflected on family life with Liam – who was dad to seven-year-old Bear, his son with former partner Cheryl Tweedy – and how “excited” he was to be an uncle to her daughter Ffion.
She continued: “I have been looking back at the messages from the night I had Ffion, how excited you were to meet her, the jokes we all shared and the laughter that you knew we all needed.
“You led your life with a motto of why bother doing something unless you are brilliant at it, and Liam you were certainly brilliant at everything you did!!
“Unfortunately this cruel world is always quick to judge someone from a few 5 second clips, they then think it entitles them to be able to speak like they know you.
“We knew you and we loved you.”
Nicola ended her emotional statement asking her brother to “look after” their family and in return they would tell his son as much as possible about Liam.
She concluded: “I hope you have finally found peace up there and that you’ll continue to look after us all as you have done in life.
“We will make sure Bear knows all about his daddy and how much you loved him, we promise this.
“See you soon Liam, Love You xx”

Niecy Nash found it ‘easy’ to flirt with Travis Kelce: ‘I was born to do it…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Niecy Nash found it “easy” to flirt with Travis Kelce.
The 54-year-old actress stars alongside NFL player Travis, 34, in Ryan Murphy’s drama series ‘Grotesquerie’ – which follows a detective and a nun tackling a series of heinous crimes – and admitted that she was “born to flirt” so had no problem doing so on set with the A-list sports star.
She told Us Weekly: “I was born to flirt, so that part is easy. The blessing about this particular show for an actor is that most of the characters play. Travis went from being a charming person who worked at the hospital to being down and out on his luck guy who has a mullet.”
Niecy also starred in Ryan’s ‘Monster’ series – which followed the crimes of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer – and praised the ‘Glee’ creator and explained that their working relationship is mostly based on the “foolishness” between the pair.
She said: “Ryan and I have a great relationship. It’s built on three things: love, respect, and foolishness. The third one is really what keeps us going. But Lois went on a journey and when you meet her, she’s at the height of her addiction. She is so close to her rock bottom.”
Meanwhile, Travis is currently dating pop megastar Taylor Swift and showrunner Ryan recently noted that the ‘Anti-Hero’ songstress has been “very supportive” when it comes to his acting debut in the role of Ed Laclan.
Ryan told E! News: “The only thing that [Travis and I] talked about was that she’s very supportive of him, and if he has an interest, she wanted him to try it. “I was thrilled about that. I love her too!”

Shazad Latif ‘honoured’ with Nautilus role

OHMYGOSSIP — Shazad Latif feels “privileged and honoured” to lead the cast of ‘Nautilus’.
The 36-year-old actor portrays Captain Nemo in the drama series – a reimagining of Jules Verne’s classic tale ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas’ that tells the origin story of the mysterious sailor and he’s thrilled to be involved in such an “epic” story.
Asked about his role during a special screening of the first episode of the Prime Video series in London on Saturday (19.10.24), he said: “We’ve always seen him in the other movies as an elusive, mysterious guy , we don’t really know his back story so to get the chance to explore that over 10 episodes and do all the crazy things, it’s pretty epic.
“I’m very privileged and honoured to play him.”
When it comes to the rest of the series, Shazad teased viewers can expect “lots of adventures”.
He said: “More action, more comedy, more great set pieces. Just seeing it on the big screen was very exciting, lots and lots of adventures, swashbuckling stuff.”
But the actor warned there is also a “very serious undertone” running through the story.
Asked if he can relate to Captain Nemo, he said: “I suppose he’s got some kind of trauma like we all do, that’s what I love, it’s a full on revenge story and at the heart of it is a very serious undertone, exploring the East India Company and all the bad stuff they did, so I can relate to that in some way.”
But now filming has finished, Shazad joked he’s ready to see the sun and take a holiday.
Asked if he could use nautilus, the titular submersible ship, to go anywhere, where would he go, he said: “I think right now just maybe Spain, a beach or something, get some good weather in.”
‘Nautilus’ premieres on Prime Video on 25 October.
