Stevie Nicks has worn bracelet given to her by Taylor Swift for nearly a year

OHMYGOSSIP — Stevie Nicks has worn a bracelet gifted to her by Taylor Swift for nearly a year.
The Fleetwood Mac singer, 76, was given the jewellery by Taylor, 34, engraved with the letters ‘TTPD’ in reference to the singer’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ album – for which Stevie write a poem that was printed on the inside of CD casings for the 16-track record.
Stevie told Rolling Stone magazine during an interview while pointing to the piece: “Do you see my little bracelet? I haven’t taken it off for almost a year.”
The singer also said of her worship of Taylor while referring to the performer’s 35-year-old boyfriend Travis Kelce: “She is really smart, but she also went through a lot before. She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man.”
Stevie added she hopes Taylor and Travis will “fall deeper and deeper in love” and “ride off into the sunset”.
She went on about the set-up of the relationship between NFL player Travis and Taylor: “He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that.
“I just want all of that for her.”
Stevie’s ‘TTPD’ bracelet has become a constant feature in Stevie’s on-stage outfits.
She wore it last May at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival and earlier this month sported it during her ‘Saturday Night Live’ performance.
Stevie also told Rolling Stone about how she had given a gift to Travis: “I like to design blankets. Cashmere blankets are my favourite thing.
“That is what I buy for my friends if there’s a special occasion. I bought Travis Kelce a blanket.”
Stevie and Taylor’s bond stretches back years, from when the pair performed together in 2010 at the Grammys.

She said about how he is always willing to help with her clothing choices: “I never ask him for help, but he’s always willing to help.
“You can come to him… and say, ‘Can you help me on my project, give me advice?’ And he will give you advice. I’ve seen it.”

She has since appeared on the red carpet more than a dozen times since.

Sofia Vergara claims she is ‘kind of single’ despite Justin Saliman romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Sofia Vergara has claimed she is “kind of single” – despite dating orthopaedic surgeon Justin Saliman for more than a year.
In an October 13 interview with Us Weekly, the ‘Modern Family’ star gave a confusing update on her relationship status, and then days later, on October 20, she was seen out with her beau again.
When discussing New York being a great city for dating, she told the outlet: “Totally. Actually, I was talking yesterday about it because now I’m single so … kind of single. [Laughs.] Anyways.”
In August, the 52-year-old actress admitted she was “enjoying life” with Justin.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’m enjoying life, I’m so grateful to the people around me.”
Sofia previously claimed that she can’t be too “picky” about who she dates.
The ‘Griselda’ star – who split from husband Joe Manganiello in 2023 – revealed that she was open-minded about who she dates.
Sofia told PEOPLE: “I mean, it’s already hard for a 50-something-year-old woman to find someone. I’m not going to be now picky about, ‘Oh, he can only be a doctor. Oh, he can only be an astronaut.’ No, I mean, I’m not that picky.”
Sofia has also learned that love can be a “tricky” thing.
The ‘Hot Pursuit’ actress – who married Joe in 2015 – explained: “You never know what the future is going to bring.
“You need to always give the best that you can, be the best person to the other person.”
Sofia had claimed that she split from Joe because he wanted children and she did not, but he has insisted that is not the case.
He told Men’s Journal: “That’s simply not true. We did try to have a family for the first year and a half. And we had a huge conversation right out of the gate during the first month we dated. I said, ‘If you’re done with kids, then I understand. Just tell me, and I’ll know what this is, and that’s okay.’ But that wasn’t the case with her. And I swore to her that I would never leave if it didn’t work out. And I didn’t.
“That wasn’t inevitably why everything ended. It’s because two people grew apart, and sometimes that happens.”
Sofia – who has Manolo, 33, with her first husband Joe Gonzalez – had told Spanish publication El Pais: “My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom.
“I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.
“I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children. I’m also in menopause – it’s the natural way of things.”

The couple learn new things “every day” from their “beautiful boy”, who they say, “experiences life in 4D”.
In a joint Instagram post, they penned: “Today our family recognizes World Autism Awareness Day which is beyond meaningful to us because our amazing 2 year old, Zillion, was recently diagnosed with ASD – joining the unique energy of others like Niko Telsa, Sir Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Michael Angelo, just to name a few dynamic individuals.

‘She’s got the IQ of a fence post’: Mel Gibson slams Kamala Harris

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Gibson has accused Vice President Kamala Harris of having “the IQ of a fence post”.
The 68-year-old actor has confirmed he will be voting for Donald Trump to return to the White House in the upcoming US election and his out at his Democrat rival, insisting it wouldn’t be “good” if she was to triumph as she has a “miserable track record”.
Asked who he will vote for at the election, the ‘Braveheart’ star told TMZ: “Oh man that’s a big question., I don’t think it’s going to surprise anyone who I vote for.”
Asked if he means Trump, he replied: “I think that’s a pretty good guess.”
The ‘Passion of the Christ’ actor was then pressed on what he thinks the country would be like if the former ‘Apprentice’ star returned for a second term, but he failed to answer the question as he opted to attack Kamala instead.
He said: “I know what it would be like if we let her and that ain’t good. Miserable track record, a falling track record, no policy to speak of. She’s got the IQ of a fence post.”
The ‘Mad Max’ star’s comments echo Trump’s own remarks about his rival.
He recently told CBS that the vice president had given “an answer that was from a loony bin”.
And at a rally in Georgia earlier this week, he declared: “She’s not a smart person. She’s a low IQ individual.”
Mel’s remarks come less than a week after he was defended by Andrew Garfield.
The 41-year-old actor said he had learned when starring in 2016’s ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ – which was directed by Mel – that people “deserve second chances, third chances, fourth chances”.
He added to People magazine: “That none of us are infallible.”
The ‘We Live In Time’ actor said he had had “deep, important conversations” with his director – whose career fell into decline in 2006 after he made anti-semitic remarks when being arrested for DUI – and praised him for working on himself.
He said: “He’s done a lot of beautiful healing with himself…he’s an amazing filmmaker, and I think he deserves to make films. He deserves to tell stories because he has a very, very big, compassionate heart.”

Liam Payne texted Nicole Scherzinger shortly before death

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger was texting Liam Payne on the day he died.
The 46-year-old singer – who was one of the judges on ‘The X Factor’ who helped put One Direction together in 2010 – has been praised by theatre guru Andrew Lloyd Webber for retaining her composure and still making it on stage for the press night of ‘SUNSET BLVD’ on New York’s Broadway just hours after she heard her friend had fatally fallen from his hotel balcony last week.
Andrew told Billboard magazine: “One thing about Nicole is that once she’s committed to something, she is the most incredible company member and leader of any performer I know.
“And do you know what? I suppose something that hasn’t been said, and I suppose I could say, is that of course she mentored Liam, from One Direction.
“On the Wednesday when he died, she was still texting him that day, and [that evening] the reviewers came in [to ‘SUNSET’], she’d just heard that he died.
“And the fact that she even did the show at all is extraordinary. I mean she is an amazing, amazing woman.
“She is without any question one of the finest performers I’ve ever worked with.”
The 76-year-old theatre boss praised the former Pussycat Dolls singer as “absolutely extraordinary” and a unique talent who he’d love to work with more in the future.
He said: “I’ve known that she’s one of a kind. I don’t think there’s any singer I know who can interpret and act through music in the way that she can. I mean, I’ve known some very, very great ones, but she’s absolutely extraordinary.”
Asked if he thinks she’ll do more theatre when her current run comes to an end, he added: “I don’t know, you’d have to ask her that. But all I could say is, I would love to work with her again. It’s always got to be the right role, the right thing. And I think she’s completely made this role her own.”

King Charles urges for change in first speech as Head of Commonwealth

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles has urged for change in the Commonwealth in terms of “finding creative ways to right inequalities that endure”.
The 75-year-old British monarch is currently in Australia and Samoa on an 11-day tour – his first major overseas trip since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year – and he made his first speech as Head of Commonwealth during the opening ceremony for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Apia.
The king expressed in his speech that “no one can change the past” but leaders could commit to learning from mistakes as they move forward.
He said: “None of us can change the past. But we can commit, with all our hearts to learning its lessons and to finding creative ways to right inequalities that endure.
“Nothing, it seems to me, would do so more decisively than to champion the principle that our Commonwealth is one of genuine opportunity for all.
“It is vital, therefore, that we understand our history –to guide us to make the right choices in the future. Where inequalities exist, for example, in access to opportunity; to education; to skills training; to employment; to health; and to a planet in whose climate our human race can both survive and thrive, we must find the right ways, and the right language, to address them.
“As we look around the world and consider its many deeply concerning challenges, let us choose within our Commonwealth family the language of community and respect, and reject the language of division.”
During the king’s tour, he has also been declared a Samoan “high chief” and he took part in a traditional kava-drinking ceremony with a group of bare-chested Samoans.
The King and Queen Camilla visited the village of Moata’a, and he was made ‘Tui Taumeasina’, which means high chief.
And in the separate kava-drinking ceremony on Thursday (24.10.24), kava roots were paraded around the tent.
He was presented with a half-coconut filled with the kava brew, which is slightly intoxicating and peppery, while the drink – which is known as “ava” locally – holds a special place in Pacific culture.
When the drink was ready, a Samoan man screamed as he decanted it, and then gave it to the king, who said “May God bless this ava” before taking a sip.

Stevie Nicks doesn’t want to live for another 15 years

OHMYGOSSIP — Stevie Nicks thinks she’ll live for “another 15 years” – but doesn’t want to.
The 76-year-old singer has vowed to keep “raging and dancing” into her final years but admitted she will be living “hatefully” as she has no desire to reach her 90s and isn’t “looking forward” to it.
She told Rolling Stone magazine: “I can’t get [Covid] again. I mean, I’m old, so I’ll only be around for another 15 years. But you guys have another 30 or 40 years, so you should think about it.
“I’ll probably live to be hatefully 95 years old. I have no want to be that old, honestly. I mean, I’ll have an electric scooter, and I will be raging and I will keep dancing.
“But I’m not looking forward to that, really — I think that’s too old. My mom died at 84, and my dad died at about 80, but I’m a younger person at 76 than they were at 76. So I figured 88, 89.”
However, the Fleetwood Mac singer insisted she isn’t afraid of dying, but she’s concerned about “getting everything together” and finding enough time for her hobbies.
She said: “I’m not afraid of dying, but what I am afraid of is not getting everything together, because I’m so busy. And that’s why I’m really glad this tour’s over, so that I can go and work on an album.
“I haven’t been able to do a lot of the creative things that I love in many, many years. I draw, I write songs, and I write poetry. I’d like to make a perfume because I actually have a smell that I love. I like to design blankets. Cashmere blankets are my favourite thing.”
Stevie has no plans to retire but will stop her concerts in their current form when they start to feel “age inappropriate”.
Asked if she will give up one day, she said: “Well, if I can stay looking pretty good.… When I think that it’s age inappropriate, I won’t do it anymore.
“But then I think I would just bring the shows down.
“I’d be happy to tour all the beautiful gothic theatres of the United States and Europe, and do two hours and be able to sit in a chair for some of it.
“Do some songs in my whole catalogue that I’ve always wanted to do and never done.”

Sarah Hyland opens up about experiencing domestic abuse

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hyland doesn’t know if she will ever be “fully healed” from experiencing domestic violence.
The ‘Modern Family’ actress – who secured a restraining order against ex-boyfriend Matt Prokop in 2014 amid allegations he had verbally and physically abused her during their five-year relationship – has spoken of the importance of sharing such experiences in order to make victims feel less isolated and more confident about opening up about their own ordeals.
Accepting Variety’s Courage Award for her work with animal welfare and domestic abuse awareness, she told the outlet: “For thousands of years now, we didn’t talk about it.
“The community hasn’t shared enough, I believe. And I feel that if we talk about it more, more women — and men and just human beings in general in abusive relationships — will feel more comfortable to be able to talk about it with their loved ones instead of letting their abuser isolate them from everyone, which is the first thing that they do, so that you don’t have that community.”
The 33-year-old star believes “talking about it” is “really important” to helping those in need and reflected how PTSD sparked by their experiences can impact survivors long after their relationships have ended.
She added: “[It stays] in that abused place of your soul, where you think it’s your fault the whole time and you could have done better, you could have gotten out sooner, you could have told people.
“It’s almost like you don’t wanna talk about it anymore. You want it to be done, and that’s that.
“I completely understand the dissociation pattern of it. I am very much guilty about it myself… until something happens where I’m triggered, and I didn’t realise that part of myself had been healed.
“I don’t know if that part [of] any woman will ever be fully healed from that. It’s something that kind of scars her soul a little bit. It’s more so putting love towards that scar instead of hating it and ignoring it.”
Sarah – who is now married to Wells Adams – credited her beloved dog for helping her through he toughest times, but also noticed pets can be used as pawns in domestic abuse situations.
She said: “A lot of people who have been in an abusive relationship have had pets.
“I wouldn’t have been able to get through a lot of times without my dog.
“But then, at the same time … animals can be used as a manipulation and used as tactic as well. Their lives are then, therefore, put on the line [to] try to hurt someone through an animal.”

Zachary Levi blames COVID-19 vaccine for Gavin Creel’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Zachary Levi has blamed the COVID-19 vaccination for Gavin Creel’s death.
The ‘Shazam!’ actor has sparked outrage with a rant about the immunisations being “forced” on people and claimed the likes of his Broadway star pal – who died last month while undergoing treatment for a rare and aggressive form of cancer – would still be alive if they hadn’t had the jab.
He said on Instagram: “I know that this is going to offend some people and make some people mad, and I wish it didn’t. So, a few weeks ago, my friend Gavin Creel died. He was 48 years old, and he was one of the healthiest people I knew.
“You better believe that, with everything in me, I believe that if these COVID vaccinations were not forced on the American public, that the theatres weren’t being pushed and leveraged…”
He added: “They knew the cost benefit of these shots, and it was garbage. Guys, it was garbage. They knew that there would be plenty of side effects, including turbo cancers. They knew.
“And I, without a shadow of a doubt, I believe that Gavin Creel would be alive right now — right f***** now — he would still be alive if that stuff didn’t get put into his body.”
Broadway stars have now responded to Zachary’s comments, accusing him of having flown “so far from decency and sanity”.
Tony award-winning actor Nobert Leo Butz commented: “So incredibly disappointed you would politicize Gavin’s death. Really tried to give you the benefit here. Made it halfway through, which was hard as hell. But was utterly heartbroken, as he would have been, that you felt the need to use his life and legacy to promote this awful platform.”
Meanwhile, ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’ star and ‘Wicked’ star Jenna Leigh Green wrote: “Gavin deserved better. What has happened to you to have flown so far from decency and sanity? It’s just so sad.”

Queen Camilla uses ‘old-fashioned’ phone

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen Camilla uses an “old-fashioned” mobile phone with no apps.
The 77-year-old royal – who is married to King Charles – isn’t able to join in with her family’s WhatsApp chat group because the old-style “brick” device she uses isn’t capable of supporting such forms of communication.
Asked if his family uses WhatsApp to stay in touch, Camilla’s son Tom Parker Bowles told Woman + Home magazine: “We do – my children, my sister and cousins – but my mum still uses an old-fashioned Nokia telephone, so [she] can’t. I think it’s for security.”
And the food writer admitted it is hard to keep in touch with his mother and relies on the news to keep him informed as to her whereabouts.
He said: “She’s working a lot harder. She’s always worked quite hard [so] it’s still the case of, I ring my mother, she doesn’t answer, I look on the television [and think] ‘Ah! She’s in Jersey’.”
For reasons of security, little is known about the royal family’s mobile phones, but the late Queen Elizabeth was rumoured to own a Blackberry while the Daily Telegraph newspaper reports the king doesn’t own one at all and instead relies on staff taking his calls.
Charles’ son, Prince William, admitted earlier this year he is concerned people spend too much time on their mobiles.
Touring a youth club in London, the 41-year-old Prince of Wales – who has three children with wife Catherine, Princess of Wales – spoke to a group of teenagers who confessed to spending a lot of time scrolling on their devices.
He replied: “The grown-ups are guilty of it too. We have got to be better at it.”
And William’s brother, Prince Harry, has spoken of his concerns about young people accessing harmful material on their internet-enabled devices.
He told CBS News: “We always talk about in the olden days, if kids are under your roof, you know what they are up to. At least they’re safe.
“But now, they could in the next room, in a tablet or phone, going down these rabbit holes, and within 24 hours they could be taking their life.”

Jeff Bridges went into ‘surrender mode’ after cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeff Bridges’ doctor warned he wasn’t “fighting” his cancer enough.
The 74-year-old actor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2020 and then contracted COVID-19 while undergoing chemotherapy treatment, and he recalled going into “surrender mode” and accepting that he might not survive, but believes it was the “intense love” of the people around him that helped him pull through.
He told People magazine: “While I was sick, I thought I not only wouldn’t go back to ‘The Old Man’, I thought I might just kick the bucket. It got down to that.
“I remember one doctor said, ‘You got to fight, Jeff. You’re not fighting.
“And I had no idea what he was talking about. I was in surrender mode, just, ‘Everybody dies. This might be me doing that.’
“And out of that surrender, like I say, all of this intense love surfaced, and maybe that’s what caused me to survive, I don’t know.
“But I didn’t relate to the fighting thing, more of a surrendering.”
The ‘Crazy Heart’ actor – who has three daughters with wife Susan Geston – had intensive physical therapy alongside his cancer treatment and set a “little goal” for him to be healthy enough to walk youngest child Hayley, 39, down the aisle at her wedding.
He said: “I didn’t know how I could do that, but I said, ‘Well, let’s train. Let’s put that as our goal.’ So we worked on that. And turned out not only did I walk her down the aisle, but I got to do the wedding dance with her. Then I’d rush to my table and put my oxygen on!”
The tumour in Jeff’s stomach was “9 by 12 inch” but had shrunk to the size of a marble by the time he filmed the second season of ‘The Old Man’ and his oncologist thinks he is doing well.
He said: “I don’t know the exact size of it. I get MRIs and all that down the line, but my oncologist says, ‘You’re looking good, man.’ And I get all my blood tests and everything and everything’s going real well.”
The ‘Big Lebowski’ star has learned some vital lessons from his “fascinating” health issues.
He said: “All of your strategies for life, how you work — all of those get heightened.
“And love, that’s the word that comes to mind. To see how much I love my family and my friends and the nurses and doctors that were caring for me, and how much love is coming at me. So it just exacerbated love, basically.”

Selena Gomez begins big key mission in her career

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez has “big goals” when it comes to helping people with mental health struggles.
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress – who revealed in 2020 that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder – is “just starting” on the work she hopes to achieve with her Rare Impact Fund foundation.
She told E! News: “My dream is to have places where people who are thinking bad thoughts—I want them to go to a place and have the resources.
“So, I have big goals, big dreams and I’m just starting, and it feels like a good start.
“Sometimes, you just need someone to tell you: ‘I feel you’ or: ‘Me too.’ ”
The 33-year-old star has learned a lot from her own struggles and wants people to know that life can be “complex”.
She added: “I’ve learned so much about the complexities of being a woman from my mental health to physically being OK, and also just wanting to make sure that all around I feel healthy.
“And I just want people to know that everything isn’t a highlight reel. Life is very complex and different.”
In October 2023, the ‘Lose You To Love Me’ singer hosted her first annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit at Nya Studios in Hollywood and gave a speech in which she opened up about how she had “struggled” until her diagnosis gave her the tools to deal with difficult times.
She said: “I struggled with the world inside my head for a long time and I felt lost and I felt hopeless at times. And in 2020, I received my diagnosis of bipolar disorder. And to be honest, everything quickly changed. I actually got the knowledge and the answers that I had been desperate for for so long. And understanding that obviously makes me become more aware of it and I’m less afraid than I used to be.”

King Charles made a Samoan ‘high chief’

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles III has been declared a Samoan “high chief”.
The 75-year-old British monarch is currently in Australia and Samoa on an 11-day tour – his first major overseas trip since being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year – and he took part in a traditional kava-drinking ceremony with a group of bare-chested Samoans.
In February, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer”.
The king underwent a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate and doctors noticed a “separate issue of concern” that led to his cancer diagnosis.
Thew king – who recently spent six days in Australia – is said to be in “good spirits”.
Royal biographer Robert Hardman told PEOPLE: “He is in good spirits. He is not having to second guess what Buckingham Palace might think on a particular issue, as he is in charge.”
Charles also appreciated having the support of Camilla, 77, on the royal tour.
Robert said: “She keeps his spirits up and is a reassurance, but she also steps in here and there.
“We know she is not particularly keen on long-haul travel and yet has thrown herself into this trip.”
The Palace said at the time of his diagnosis: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted.

Anna Kendrick reveals her one non-negotiable relationship rule

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Kendrick refuses to get “involved with a man” who hasn’t been to therapy.
The 39-year-old star – who has been open about being in an abusive relationship for seven years – has revealed she is currently single, while laying out clear parameters for any potential partners in the future.
Appearing on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, she said: “I’m never getting involved with a man — meaning we’re not even kissing, we’re not even going to have a real conversation — unless you are in or have been in therapy.”
The ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress and her ex – who she has never identified publicly – went to couples therapy before they broke up.
She recalled: “I always felt like I was trying to stay so calm in couples therapy because I was like, f***, in these sessions, he’s so able to kind of stay calm in a way that he does not do when we’re outside of therapy.”
However, in one specific session, Anna remembered how she “lost [her] s***”, and she was worried about any repercussions.
Explaining her mindset at the time, she said: “I’m trying so hard to appease this person, they’re so f****** awful. So how bad is it gonna get now that I’ve yelled?”
She added that “weirdly, he was fine” after the incident.
Elsewhere in the interview, Anne revealed her therapist actually “bought his stuff kind of hook, line, and sinker” during their early sessions, and has later “apologised” after starting to understand the situation “toward the end”.
The ‘Twilight’ star said: “I’ve had several sessions with him in the last several years where he’s apologised to me because I think he realised what was going on, like, right toward the end.”
Anna previously said figuring out what “really happened” with her ex was “the hardest task of my adult life”.
She told PEOPLE magazine: “My body still believes that it was my fault. So even with this concrete jumping off point for me, to walk out of that relationship knowing that I wasn’t crazy – it’s incredible the way that recovery has been so challenging.”
