Russell Watson sends love to Davina McCall after brain tumour surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Russell Watson thinks Davina McCall could potentially be in recovery from her brain tumour surgery for more than two years.
The 57-year-old tenor was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour just before his 40th birthday and a second one the following year led to a brain haemorrhage but as he sent his love to former ‘Big Brother’ host Davina – who recently underwent an operation to remove a rare type of benign tumour herself – he warned that she could be in recuperation for a considerable amount of time because of the type of surgery she had.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, he said: ” I think with situations like that you don’t really have a choice. You have to deal with it. Davina, I’ve worked with her on lots of occasions. She’s one of the loveliest people – the type of person who enters the room and lights it up. All I can say is that I wish her the very, very best. The operation is one thing, but the recovery from that type of operation in particular, which was intracranial I believe, it’ll be a long recovery so I just send my love.”
“Basically, if it’s intracranial they will have to take the top of the skull off and operate from down. My operation was very different, the first one went up through my nose and the second one through the back of the lip.
“What Davina has gone through, I personally feel will be a longer recovery period. It took me about two years.
“The the first tumour that I had was operated on, we thought, successfully but it grew back quickly.”
The ‘Someone LIke You’ singer – who was judged by Davina on ‘The Masked Singer’ in 2022 –
He said: “Then I went to bed one night and didn’t wake up the next morning, I was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery. The rehabilitation from that was what took the longest, not least of all because I was suffering from post-traumatic stress as well. You go to bed one night and you don’t wake up the next morning. Inevitably, after that, you go to bed every night thinking…
“It was a tough time but as I say, and emphasise, the type of operation Davina has had, it’s very serious one. She seemed quite pragmatic. I’ve not seen her, but I saw her on social media about it which is good because she has a positive attitude towards everything. Long may it continue.”

Maura Higgins reveals if she is looking for love on I’m A Celeb following Pete Wicks ‘split’

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins can’t imagine finding love on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 33-year-old reality star will make her debut as a late arrival on the ITV1 jungle reality show on Thursday (21.11.24) night’s episode and was thought to be dating ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant Pete Wicks, 36, but has now insisted that she is single a romance is likely to be off the cards.
She said: “It is quite scary going in later. They have all met and got to know each other. It’s never easy being the newbie, but I am not a shy person, so I feel like I will be fine. It will be nice to bring some energy to the camp. I am single at the moment, but honestly no-one is going to fancy me in the jungle. Trust me!”
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who previously competed on ‘Dancing on Ice’ following her rise to fame – has jumped at the chance to brave the Australian outback and is looking forward to getting to know hosts Ant and Dec but is “very nervous” about the experience because she is “scared of everything” that the jungle has to offer.

West End star Sam Tutty reveals how Hollyoaks saved him during COVID: ‘I had no money…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Tutty loved getting the chance to star in ‘Hollyoaks’ because he is “very conscious” of money.
The 26-year-old actor had made a name for himself in West End theatre by playing the title role in ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ but was out of work when the COVID-19 lockdowns came in and he “learned a lot” by taking on the role of Timmy Simons in the Channel 4 soap opera, even though he was given some “questionable” material.
Speaking on the ‘Call to Stage’ podcast, he told former ‘Love Island’ star Amber Davies: “It was great. I loved working on ‘Hollyoaks’. Some of the stuff was questionable, what they wanted me to say in terms of pure quality because they just have to get it out, get it out, seven episodes a week.
“So I was a bad guy and I stalked a girl who had a girlfriend. I think I pretended to set up carbon monoxide detectors and then in that had hidden cameras in bathrooms and showers and stuff. And then I got killed off!
“I was pleased in a way because by my last few episodes I had learned a lot.
“It was a crash course in acting in front of a camera. I met some of the most hilarious people on that show and it paid during a time when I wasn’t getting paid. I wasn’t on furlough, self-employed. My tax was coming in. I’m very conscious of money.
“I realised that I can learn lines impossibly quick now because of that. Really, really good skill.”
Sam – who has since starred in ‘Two Strangers Carry A Cake Across New York – won an Olivier Award for his star turn in ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ but recalled having to seek employment benefits afterwards because his “ego got in the way” of him accepting certain kinds of work.
He said: “I got the Olivier, I was very happy. My life didn’t change at all. Jobs didn’t come in, more jobs didn’t come in. If anything, jobs that I really didn’t want came in more and jobs that I wanted more came in less. Nothing changed. My life didn’t get better, it didn’t get worse. I finished ‘Evan’, a year after that I walked into the Job Centre because I had no money. So I wanna put that out there.
“A lot of that was my own decisions. I was lazy. I didn’t find a normal job, or a resting job. I could’ve done anything but my ego got in the way of it. I turned down jobs that I really didn’t want to do because I would rather not work but then that came to me having to go into a Job Centre.”

Daniel Craig ‘would have been terrified’ to make Queer during his James Bond tenure

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Craig “would have been terrified” to make something like ‘Queer’ during his tenure as James Bond.
The 56-year-old actor played 007 five times from 2006’s ‘Casino Royale’ until ‘No Time To Die’ in 2021, and he has admitted he would never have tacked a project like gay romance movie during his time as the famed M.I.6 agent because he though he needed to “stay in [his] lane”.
In an interview with The New York Times, the ‘Skyfall’ star said: “I wouldn’t have done [‘Queer’ 10 years ago]. I was so wrapped up in ‘Bond’ and what that was, I would have been terrified of doing something like this.
“Especially early on with ‘Bond’, I was like, ‘This is enough. Stay in my lane.’”
‘Queer’ – which was directed by ‘Challengers’ filmmaker Luca Guadagnino and is an adaptation of author William S. Burroughs’ 1985 book of the same name – follows outcast American expat Lee (Craig) in 1950’s Mexico City who falls in love with the much younger U.S. Navy serviceman Eugene (Starkey).
In order to prepare himself for the film, the ‘Knives Out’ actor worked with an acting coach to refine his American accent.
He shared: “I’ve been working on the voice and doing all these things, but still, you’re just f****** scared.
“I was shaking, literally shaking. Luca came up to me and it was like he snapped his fingers. He said, ‘Just loosen it.’”
As well as his vocals, Craig had to prepare for sex scenes with his co-star Starkey, though the 31-year-old actor hailed the ‘James Bond’ star as “shameless in what he’s presenting” on screen.
Starkey explained: “He finds little intricacies of humanity that we all experience but are maybe too embarrassed to show, and he will wear it on his sleeve.”
With some contents of the movie likely to be controversial amongst some, Craig insisted he didn’t care if there was any pushback to ’Queer’.
He said: “It shouldn’t lead the way. Will the audience respond? You do have to take care of your audience in film, I think, but you can’t really be winking at them while you’re making it.”
‘Queer’ will get a limited release in the U.S. on 27 November 2024 before it arrives to cinemas worldwide on 13 December.

Anne Hathaway to star in big screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Verity

OHMYGOSSIP — Anne Hathaway is to star in the movie adaptation of ‘Verity’.
Following on from the success of 44-year-old author Colleen Hoover’s first foray into Hollywood with ‘It Ends With Us’, Hoover will now see her 2018 romance-thriller novel move from the page to the big screen – with Hathaway, 42, to star.
The actress will be reuniting with her ‘The Idea of You’ director Michael Showalter for the film, with both serving as producers alongside Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, Jordan Mollick, Stacey Sher and Hoover.
‘Verity’ follows writer Lowen Ashleigh, who is given the chance to complete the last three novels in a beloved book series because author Verity Crawford has had to put her pen down due to medical reasons.
After moving into the famed writer’s house to go over Verity’s notes, Lowen discovers the author has been left largely unresponsive following a car accident, and also learns Verity’s two twin daughters had died mere months after her near-fatal incident.
With these revelations swirling around her head, Lowen soon finds herself falling in love with Verity’s husband Jeremy, and also stumbles across an autobiographical manuscript penned by the writer, which reveals dark secrets about the life of the author.
The Amazon MGM Studios picture, which is being written by Antosca, will reportedly be one of two Hoover novels to make it to the big screen after this year’s ‘It Ends With Us’ proved to be a box office hit – bringing in $340.7 million at the worldwide box office against a production budget of $25 million.
With the success of ‘It Ends With Us’ – which starred Blake Lively and Jacob Elordi and was an adaptation of Hoover’s 2016 novel of the same name – Universal Pictures are said to be working on movie version of the writer’s 2022 book ‘Reminders of Him’ after the studio won a bidding war for the story rights.
The novel follows a woman whose relationship with a suave but abusive neurosurgeon is thrown into disarray when her first love unexpectedly re-enters her life, forcing her to make an impossible decision about her future.
While it was rumoured the upcoming romance-drama would hit cinemas on 13 February 2026, no director or actors have been attached to the project yet.

Love Island star Jessy Potts admits she ‘doesn’t pay attention’ to Joey Essex following their splt

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessy Potts “doesn’t really pay attention” to Joey Essex anymore.
The 25-year-old reality star appeared on ‘Love Island’ earlier this year with ‘TOWIE’ legend Joey, 34, but they split soon afterwards and she has now insisted that she is focusing on her career instead.
She told The Sun: “I don’t really pay attention to what Joey is doing. I’m on to bigger and better things.
“We ended amicably, but he’s not ready to settle down.
“I’d like to continue with my modelling. But I’d also like to get into presenting too, I think that could be fun.”
The former couple called time on their relationship just weeks after they got together, and former ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ contestant Joey explained shortly afterwards that they had decided to just be “friends” instead.
He said: “Unfortunately, we have decided to call an end to the relationship but I hope we can continue to be friends.
“I truly wish Jessy the very best with whatever she does in the future.”
Jessy admitted she is “grateful” to everyone who supported her and Joey’s romance, but it “wasn’t to be”.
She added: “I appreciate the ‘Love Island’ experience I had with Joey, we tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be.
“I’m so grateful to everyone who supported us and look forward to all of the exciting opportunities ahead.”
Joey also insisted that they weren’t on the show to “win it” and had just wanted to spend time with each other in front of the cameras.
He told OK! magazine: “We took our time, had fun and enjoyed each other’s company.
“We weren’t jumping to make decisions because the next bombshell was coming, or because it was Casa Amor, we did things our way.
“We played it correctly. We weren’t in it to win it. We just wanted to be together.”

Rev Richard Coles says he will have to ‘censor’ himself on I’m A Celebrity

OHMYGOSSIP — Reverend Richard Coles will have to “self-censor” during his time on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The 62-year-old star will make his first appearance as a late arrival on Thursday’s (21.11.24) episode of the ITV1 reality show and admitted that he has so many stories from his life and career that he will want to share but will have to be “very careful” how he words things.
He said: “I expect I will share stories. I will have to be very careful and self- censor as I go along, but I imagine that it will be very difficult after a while.”
But the writer also insisted that he will just have to “be himself” in the Australian outback when he joins others such as TikTok star GK Barry, ‘Loose Women’ panellist Jane Moore and ‘Coronation Street’ actor Alan Halsall.
He said: “You can’t keep up a façade and I will just be myself. I enjoy meeting other people and I was a vicar for a long time, so I am used to being with groups of people and finding a way to make it work. I am a nosey person as well and so I am interested in finding out how they think and how their life is. This is going to be fun and it’s suddenly got very real now.”
However, the radio presenter isn’t too confident that he will win the series.
He said: “I think that is highly unlikely. The combination of snoring and then being totally incompetent getting the stars, will mean I will probably be thrown out by my campmates!
“But this will be a great reset and it will be interesting. I am sure I will confront some fears along the way and it will also be good to learn new things about myself. It’s exciting.”

Have I Got News For You star Paul Merton recalls ‘dreadful’ pilot

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Merton couldn’t have imagined the success of ‘Have I Got News For You’ after filming a “dreadful” pilot.
The 67-year-old comedian has been a team captain on the BBC comedy panel show since it began in 1990 alongside Ian Hislop but recalled during the first recording of the show more than 30 years ago that nobody was particularly enthusiastic about it to begin with.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Lorraine’, he said: “The pilot was pretty dreadful to be honest! It was on a very hot sunny summer’s day. it was a Sunday Nobody wanted to be there in this tiny studio in Wandsworth, nobody knew what the show was because it hadn’t been made before. It was kind of a bit ordinary. From that point, it grew. Ian’s contribution is…is it massive or minimal? I can’t make my mind up!
“Ian covers the serious stuff very well, and he’s very funny at what he does – if you like that sort of thing. And I get the quirky story about the rabbit who plays the harpsichord or whatever it is.
The show has featured a number of celebrity guest stars over the years to answer questions based on the week’s top stories and news as they dissect current affairs in a comedic manner but Paul noted that nowadays some who come on may be a little too enthusiastic because they think it will get them a return invite.
He said: “You want people to contribute as well but you want people to be not talking the whole time as well. People think ‘Oh if I talk an awful lot, they’ll have me back’ but that’s not always the case.”

‘It’s just so much fun because he has no redeeming characteristics…’ Ben Stiller happy to be back as Hal L for Happy Gilmore 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Stiller was “always ready” to play Hal L again for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’.
The 58-year-old actor returns as the sadistic retirement home orderly alongside Adam Sandler’s unlikely golfing superstar Happy Gilmore for the upcoming sequel to the 1996 comedy classic, and Stiller has now stressed he has been patiently waiting to reprise the role since the original came out nearly 30 years ago.
He told Collider: “You don’t get the opportunity to play Hal L that often.
“Hal L — I’m saying this now in retrospect because I just did it — was so much fun. As we were doing, and I was there with Adam, I was flashing back to whatever it was, however many years ago, and just being so grateful that we’re both still here and able to connect.”
The ‘Zoolander’ star added it was his friendship with Sander, also 58, was one of the main driving forces for returning for the follow-up flick.
Stiller shared: “I love Adam. He’s a dear friend. And the opportunity to do that guy is just so much fun because he has no redeeming characteristics.
“I think he’s [Hal] a good person inside. I think he’s misunderstood. It bothers him that everybody loves Happy. You don’t have to worry about making him likable, so it’s really fun to just go for it. We had the best time.”
Earlier this month, a picture of Stiller and Sandler on-set as their characters went viral online, and the ‘Night at the Museum’ star said it was great to know that “people actually care about Hal L”.
He joked: “Yeah, everybody. All of a sudden, I was like, ‘Oh, I guess somebody took a picture,’ because I saw it everywhere.
“It was great. I was like, ‘Oh, this will be fun when it comes out,’ but it’s nice to know that people actually care about Hal L — even that they remember his last initial, L. There is a good reveal in the movie having to do with Hal’s name that I won’t say. There’s a good surprise there.”
‘Happy Gilmore 2’ – which will hit Netflix in March 2025 – will follow on from the 1996 original, which told the story of unsuccessful ice hockey player Happy Gilmore (Sandler) who discovers he has a talent for golf and becomes a sensation when he joins the tour.
As well as Stiller, it was previously confirmed Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald would be reprising their respective parts as Gilmore’s love interest Virginia Venit and golfing rival Shooter McGavin.

Selena Gomez hides her identity for movie auditions

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez keeps her identity a secret when auditioning for movie roles.
The 32-year-old singer returned to the big screen with A24’s musical-thriller ‘Emilia Perez’, though Gomez has now revealed she and her agents have an unconventional method in landing her Hollywood roles as they try to hide her identity from casting directors to ensure her chances of getting film parts aren’t put in jeopardy.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Gomez said: “If they think I’m too young for a part, or whatever the case may be, we use a tactic where we don’t tell them it’s me auditioning so that they just have to accept me auditioning.
“Because sometimes even them just hearing that I want to audition, they’ll be like, ‘No, that’s not going to match for what we’re doing.’ Or it’s, ‘We’re going to hire people that nobody knows,’ and then they hire, like, Austin Butler, and I’m like, ‘Cool.’
“But I’m not angry, it’s the position I have and it’s Ok.”
On top of keeping her identity hidden in face-to-face auditions, the ‘Lose You to Love Me’ hitmaker revealed she also does the same with her taped try-outs she sends to film studios.
She explained: “I’ll sometimes send in a tape when they don’t know it’s me, or if it’s in person, my managers will just say, ‘Oh, we have a client that’ll have a read.’ And most of the time, they’ll go, ‘Ok.’”
Gomez – who made a name for herself as a child actress after appearing in the programme ‘Barney and Friends’ in 2002 before going on to star in the Disney show ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ from 2007 to 2012 – added this tactic had been successful in getting get her a starring role opposite Paul Rudd in the 2016 comedy ‘The Fundamentals of Caring’.
She explained: “It worked on one of the movies I did, because they looked at me as I walked in and I thought I’d lost it immediately because they went, ‘Ooohh.’
“I was like,’ ‘No, no, no, no. Just let me read.’ It was ‘Fundamentals of Caring’, a cute little movie. And it worked, I got it. You kind of have to do the dance.”
Looking to the future, the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ actress said she wanted to move away from the “underdog” characters she’s usually typecast as, and tackle something different.
She shared: “I don’t know exactly, but I feel like the roles would be very similar to what I’ve played, which is more soft-spoken and the underdog character.
“And I love those movies, but I have goals of wanting to work with specific people, people on my dream board, and so whenever those opportunities arise, I’ll put myself in that room, no matter what it takes. And I’ll say, ‘Let me show you that I can do it.’”
When pushed about who she wants to work with the most, Gomez revealed ‘The West Wing’ writer Aaron Sorkin and legendary director Martin Scorsese topped her list.
She said: “There are so many. I’d love to work with Aaron Sorkin. I really love all of his movies and anything he’s near. And I’m a massive fan of Scorsese, and I so badly want to make sure he doesn’t quit suddenly or retire.”

Tulisa has been celibate for three years

OHMYGOSSIP — Tulisa has been celibate for three years because she’s “proper guarded”.
The ‘I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!’ star made the revelation during a chat with her campmates on the ITV reality show and admitted she doesn’t date very often and needs to have a strong emotional connection with someone before she will consider getting intimate with them.
When talk turned to dating apps, Tulisa confessed: “I’ve only done [celebrity dating app] Raya. I’m not really a dater, even though I’ve been on there, I’ve never gone on an actual date with anyone on there … I’m proper guarded.”
Tulisa went on to reveal she thinks of herself as “demisexual” – needing a strong emotional bond with a partner prior to intimacy – and hasn’t had sex in more than three years.
She added: “I feel like I’m demisexual, I need to have a really close emotional bond with someone … I need actual depth. I’m a slow, slow burner, I’ve been celibate for over three years.
“I’m not an overly sexualised person. For me, it’s all about the connection and the emotions that I feel with someone and then wanting to express them in that way.”
She then added that meeting someone new makes her feel “physically sick”, joking: “This is my temple, you cannot enter!”
The 36-year-old N-Dubz star previously opened up about her love life during an appearance on’The Zeze Millz Show’, explaining: “I don’t date, I court. I have been celibate for the past two years so no sex before monogamy.
“So basically you are courting because you like to build friendships before you start dating, you just don’t s*** them and you get to know them.”
Tulisa – who has previously dated her N-Dubz bandmate Fazer, and has been romantically linked to Cher’s music producer nephew David King, and actor Jody Latham – also revealed she has been “building” friendships during her search for love.
She added: “I have got friendships that I am building.”

Emma Mackey to join Glen Powell in J.J Abrams’ top-secret flick

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Mackey is reportedly set to join Glen Powell in J.J. Abrams’ mystery movie.
The ‘Sex Education’ and ‘Barbie’ actress, 28, is said to have been lined up for one of the leading roles in the ‘Star Wars’ director’s top-secret flick, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As well as ‘Twisters’ star Glen, 36, ‘Wednesday’ star Jenna Ortega, 22, is also attached to the project.
Plot details and characters remain unknown, but the filmmaker has also penned the script and will produce under his Bad Robot banner.
Glen – whose recent blockbusters include ‘Anyone But You’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ – recently teamed up with Abrams to produce the documentary film ‘The Blue Angels’ about the US Navy’s famed Flight Demonstration Squadron.
Meanwhile, Glen recently denied he is being eyed to replace Tom Cruise in the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise – calling it the “worst gig in town”.
As Ethan Hunt in the blockbuster action spy series, Cruise performs death-defying stunts, and Glen – who starred alongside the Hollywood star in 2022’s ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ – has ruled himself out of that “death trap”.
During a call with ESPN host Pat McAfee on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ this week, he responded to the rumours: “My mom would never let me do that.
“That’s the worst gig in town, everybody knows that. That’s a death trap.”
The eighth film in the franchise, ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’, is due for release next May.
Tom, 62, and Glen will however reunite for ‘Top Gun 3’.
Glen will reprise his role as Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin alongside Tom’s Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell and Miles Teller’s Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw.

Blake Lively helped change Deadpool and Wolverine ending

OHMYGOSSIP — Blake Lively helped change the ending of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’.
The actress – who is married to the film’s star Ryan Reynolds – makes a brief cameo appearance as Lady Deadpool in the superhero movie and she gave her thoughts on the plot to director Shawn Levy telling him there wasn’t enough “suspense” and he decided she was right so he ordered a major reshoot.
According to Games Radar, Levy said: “Credit where credit is due. It used to be that there was no suspense, that the power room blew up, and our heroes had survived.
“It was Blake Lively who said to us,: ‘You know, I’ve been with you this whole movie. I want to sit in the fear that they’re lost. Let me be in that place of suspense so the triumph of their survival is more emotional and visceral’.”
Levy added: “It really opened up a new way of thinking about this part of the movie and it’s why we did this reshoot … and, here, the payoff is so much more satisfying.”
Reynolds added of the changes: “We did just a day-and-a-half of reshoots on the movie, which we’re very proud of. These kinds of movies typically involve weeks of reshoots.”
Lively previously admitted she is keen to get involved with her husband’s work and values his feedback on her own projects.
She told E! News: “We help each other. He works on everything I do. I work on everything he does. So his wins, his celebrations are mine, and mine are his.”

Cillian Murphy leads tributes to Peaky Blinders costume designer Stephanie Collie

OHMYGOSSIP — Cillian Murphy has led tributes to late ‘Peaky Blinders’ costume designer Stephanie Collie.
The award-winning BBC period crime drama’s cast and crew are mourning the loss of the key member of the team, who created the iconic look of the Peaky Blinders, after she passed away on October 26, at the age of 60, six months after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Cillian, who portrayed the lead character Thomas Shelby – known for his signature Baker Boy cap, tweed waistcoats and pocket watch – wrote: “Stephanie was a ferocious talent. She invented the Peaky Blinders look and silhouette that has become iconic across the world.
“We will all miss her. RIP.”
A statement on the programme’s official social media channels read: “We were so saddened to learn of the passing of costume designer Stephanie Collie.
“Stephanie’s incredible work in our first series was key to creating the iconic look of the Peaky Blinders, and has gone on to inspire so many people around the world. Our love and thoughts are with her family.”
Huge Hollywood stars have also paid tribute to Stephanie.
Samuel L. Jackson, who worked with the costumier on the 2021 film ‘Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’, wrote: “Stephanie was fuel for my characters. A wonderfully joyous and collaborative part of my process.
“I’ll miss her, is an understatement.”
Marvel star Ryan Reynolds remembered Stephanie for her “wry wit and acerbic observational humour”.
He penned: “Deeply saddened to hear of Stephanie Collie’s passing.
“She was an accomplished and talented designer — but the world has also lost two precious natural resources: her wry wit and acerbic observational humour.
“My condolences to her family, colleagues and all who knew her. Rest well, Stephanie.”
The designer also worked on blockbusters including 1998’s ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ and 2004’s ‘Layer Cake’, and more recently, Amazon Prime’s comedy drama ‘My Lady Jane’.
Stephanie’s passing from cancer comes just five months after her husband, director of photography Hubert Taczanowski, died from the disease in June.

I’m A Celebrity star Maura Higgins is ‘not feeling good’ ahead of her appearance

OHMYGOSSIP — Maura Higgins is “not good” before joining ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’
The ‘Love Island’ alumnus is set to enter the Australian camp soon with Reverend Richard Coles, but she has admitted to have done the “opposite” of preparing herself for jungle life as she went on a booze binge in Las Vegas before jetting off Down Under.
Maura, 33, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Honestly, I’m not good… I feel like I’m in ‘The Hangover’. I’ve even got the shakes.
“I have no clue what time it is, I don’t know where I am. I’ve done the opposite of preparing myself [for the jungle].”
Her appearance will mark the second time a contestant from the hit ITV dating show took part – with Olivia Attwood appearing in the 2022 series but had to drop out after 48 hours due to concerns she had anaemia, as well as low sodium and potassium levels.
Even though her mom Sharon was left “baffled” when the brunette beauty told her she was doing the show and fears she might “just die” if spiders crawl on her head, Maura is determined to do people proud.
She added: “I don’t want to let people down because everyone’s been DMing me saying: ‘Oh my God. I hope you’re doing the show.’
“I don’t want to back out of the trials and be the biggest wimp in the camp.”
Meanwhile, Richard told the outlet that he has eaten “5,000 calories on a cruise” and has evaded “nature documentaries” to prepare himself.
The 62-year-old musician and Church of England priest said: “I would like to say that I’ve been lowering my calorie intake to prepare for that, but that’s not worked out so far.
“I’ve been trying not to look at nature programs about the horrors of Australia.”

You Bet! return date confirmed for ITV revival

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘You Bet!’ is returning to ITV next month.
The broadcaster’s upcoming reboot of the iconic challenge show – which will be hosted by ‘Dancing On Ice’ duo Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern – will be back for two specials, with the first coming in the next couple of weeks.
ITV has confirmed the first episode will air on Saturday, December 7.
The show – which was based on German programme ‘Wetten Das?’ – features members of the public trying to use their own unique abilities as they face outrageous challenges in the bid to win a huge cash prize.
A celebrity panel and studio audience get to guess if each contestant will complete their task, and the panel will get points for correct predictions.
The celebrity with the highest score will get £10,000 for a charity of their choosing, and the lowest scoring star will face a forfeit.
The audience will also get to weigh in by voting for their favourite challengers, who will win the same amount.
