Kim Kardashian West hints family Christmas card could be cancelled

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has hinted plans for a Kardashian family Christmas card have been scrapped this year.
The 38-year-old beauty and her famous family come together every year to release special festive themed images that encompass their ever growing family tree.
But following a year plagued with drama – including Khloe Kardashian’s boyfriend Tristan Thompson being seen getting close to another woman just days before their daughter True’s birth, and Kim’s husband Kanye West making several controversial comments on social media – the family might leave their annual tradition this year.
When one fan on Twitter wrote: “I feel like with the drama that happened last year, we may not get a Kardashian Christmas card this year.”
Kim responded: “Wow reading my mind.”
Although 2018 was a dramatic one for the Kardashian and Jenner clan, it also saw the birth of three new babies – Kim’s daughter Chicago, 10 months, who was born via surrogate, Khloe’s daughter True, seven months, and Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi, nine months – who would be making their Christmas card debut if the family do decide to go ahead with the photos.
The news comes as Kim’s younger sister Khloe, 34, has reportedly been struggling with what to do in the wake of Tristan’s cheating scandal.
It has been claimed she’s not “defining” their relationship and will only refer to him as “True’s dad”, but will still be spending Thanksgiving (22.11.18) in Cleveland with him for the sake of their daughter.
An insider said: “Tristan’s schedule worked out so they could spend Thanksgiving together in Cleveland.
“It’s True’s first Thanksgiving and Khloe wants to celebrate it as a family. It’s very important to her that True has her own family traditions and is with both her mom and dad.”
But Khloe is reportedly still unsure about moving to Cleveland from Los Angeles full time, after finding it “hard” dealing with the basketball player’s alleged infidelity.
The source added: “She is still very happy in L.A. with her family support and the thought of being back in Cleveland by herself is unsettling.
“She isn’t making long-term plans and is just taking it little by little and seeing what happens.
“He’s very conflicted and tries her best to stay focused on True and all the joys of motherhood.
“It’s complicated with Tristan, but he’s True’s dad and that’s what matters most to Khloe.”

Ellie Rowsell sees an increase in young female guitarists

OHMYGOSSIP — Wolf Alice’s Ellie Rowsell thinks there’s been a recent increase in young female guitarists.
The 26-year-old musician believes there’s been a shift in attitudes towards girls in the music industry which has led to an more female fans telling her the band inspired them to pick up the instrument.
In an interview with the Times, she said: “I have noticed lots more girls are coming up to me and saying, ‘Hey, I started the guitar!”
When asked what the reason for this was, she explained: “Well, I never had that attitude of ‘I’m going to do this because it looks like I can’t’, which is happening much more among young girls at the moment.
“It’s to do with #MeToo. People are considering all the things they never considered before.”
Despite the band’s clear impact on their fans, the group – comprised of Ellie, Joff Oddie, Joel Amey and Theo Ellis – felt “guilty” about winning this year’s Mercury Prize.
The ‘Beautifully Unconventional’ hitmakers were awarded the prestigious accolade for their second LP, ‘Visions of a Life’, in September and though they were “proud” to be recognised, they were quickly “deflated” following a backlash that accused the panel of making a “safe” choice.
Ellie admitted: “It’s hard. Because winning was great — we celebrated. I felt proud. Then you read all these things and you deflate. I felt guilty. ‘I’m sorry I won this, please give it to someone else.’ And I don’t want to do that.”
Joff previously recalled: “People were angry. They thought we were the safe option.”
Ellie – who was on the 2016 judging panel – said: “But the safe option is always the left-field choice, because nobody can be angry. They go, ‘Oh, it’s nice to give them a boost!’ ”

Aaron Carter expecting a baby?

OHMYGOSSIP — Aaron Carter is reportedly expecting a baby.
The 30-year-old singer is said to be expecting his first child with girlfriend Lina Valentina, according to a source who told the happy news to E! News.
Aaron recently hinted to the big news on Twitter, but didn’t confirm anything as he said he and Lina “might be expecting”.
He wrote: “I’m in such an amazing place mentally, physically & emotionally. I finally bought my first home and I’m going to be proposing soon to my gf and we might just be expecting… (sic)”
The source added to E! News that the ‘I Want Candy’ hitmaker could be set to propose within the next week.
Aaron has previously spoken about his desire to settle down, as he admitted his “goal” was to become a father, and said he had been thinking about adopting.
He said: “I was thinking about adopting. I want kids so bad. My goal is to be a father. I turned 30 and I’m like, ‘Alright, my resolution is to have a kid.’ But not just a kid. A beautiful woman or man, because we can have kids too. But it has to be [with] the right person. So I’m 30 and my dad was popping out kids by the time he was 30 so I better hurry up! But I do really want to have kids.”
And the singer also recently took to social media to declare his love for Lina, saying he is convinced they will “grow old together”.
He wrote on Instagram: “I finally found my love of my life no one has understood me and shown the love this woman has for me EVER @lina_valentina you have my heart for the rest of my life our relationship is new but we WILL grown old together and have our family and I will cherish honor respect and be the man I’ve always wanted to be because you’ve shown me you’re the woman I’ve always dreamed of. You are my light, you are my dream and I will never give up on us no matter what and you are my queen. I love you with every inch of my heart and soul. Relationships aren’t easy. But I want you to know I will never fall out of love with you. I’m coming home to you tomorrow. (sic)”

Colin Farrell almost got a spot in Boyzone

OHMYGOSSIP — Boyzone have revealed that Colin Farrell got down to the last 10 hopefuls to be in the pop group.
Like the five eventual members – Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately and Mikey Graham – the now Hollywood star tried out to be in the boy band and he got close to be selected by Louis Walsh to be part of the final lineup.
But Colin’s loss was Mikey’s gain as he got a second chance at being part of the act.
In an interview on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’, Mikey recalled: “Colin was in the last 10. As was I. Both me and Colin and two other chaps didn’t get into the band the first time around. I’m sure Colin was broken-hearted about that!”
Boyzone have just released their final album ‘Thank You & Goodnight’ this month to celebrate their 25th anniversary and they will embark on their last ever tour in 2019.
Lead singer Ronan is so pleased that he and the guys – minus Stephen who tragically died in October 2009 at the age of 33 – made the decision to get back together to mark the anniversary as they can say goodbye to their fans properly.
He said: “It’s been 25 brilliant years. It’s a nice thing to be able to do as a band to kind of write the final chapter ourselves and go out the way we want to go out. The album’s out now and we feel our best piece of work. The tour sold really well, which kicks off in January.”
‘Dumbo’ star Colin has previously opened up on his audition for Boyzone and unlike most people who responded to an advertisement that appeared in many Irish newspapers in 1993 asking for singers to try out for the group the hunk was personally approached by former ‘X Factor’ judge Louis.
He said: “So I was on a dance floor in Dublin and I was 17, in leather trousers and a rubber T-shirt – I’ll spare no embarrassing details – when Louis Walsh came up to me and said, ‘I’m forming a band, they’re going to be huge, do you want to be in it?’ I said, ‘Yeah’, so I went to an audition the next day and there were 150 lads outside the door with various spray-tans, tight T-shirts… I went in and sang ‘Careless Whisper’ twice … they asked me to sing it again because they couldn’t believe how shocking I was!”
Colin eventually got his big acting break in 1998 when he appeared in TV series ‘Ballykissangel’.

Carrie Underwood is ‘so thankful’

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood is “so thankful” to be pregnant following three devastating miscarriages.
The ‘Cry Pretty’ hitmaker is expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher and is thrilled that their three-year-old son Isaiah is finally going to get a sibling.
Holding back the tears, Carrie told Us Weekly: “It took us a while to get here … I’m gonna cry again. [I’m] just so thankful to find out Isaiah’s gonna have a baby brother. It was just great news. We’re excited.”
Speaking about how she manages to juggle being a mother with her hectic work schedule, she said: “Balance is what it’s all about, no matter what your job is.
“Being a mom, working and dividing your time. It’s what we all have to do as mothers.”
The 35-year-old singer revealed the sex of her unborn baby at the Country Music Association Awards last week at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, after her co-host Brad Paisley joked that he would reveal her little one’s gender, like he did at the ceremony in 2014.
He said: “Remember last time when I accidentally revealed the gender of your baby?”
Carrie replied: “I mean, who could ever forget #Bradblewit?”
Brad then joked that Carrie’s husband may not be the father of her unborn baby.
He said: “Tonight we’re going to reveal something even more exciting.
“Who the father is … Mike we’re all rooting for you buddy. What’s your gut feeling? Seriously, Carrie give me a little baby hint. Johnny or June? Keith or Nicole? Garth or Trisha? Tim or Faith? George or Tammy? Waylon or Willie?”
Carrie then replied: “Oh my gosh, Willie! It’s a Willie!”
Carrie recently admitted her second pregnancy is “harder” than the first time around.
She said: “It’s definitely different than the first time. When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms.
“I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it’s been really good.”
Carrie and Mike have picked out a name for their little one, but are keeping the moniker under wraps for now.
She said: “We have picked out a name, but we’re keeping that to ourselves right now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell let his son Eric take control of his Syco offices.
The media mogul – who has openly admitted he would love his and Lauren Silverman’s four-year-old boy to officially take over the reins of his entertainment empire one day – let his mini me have control as part of Unicef UK’s World Children’s Day on Tuesday (20.11.18).
Simon said: “Unicef’s World Children’s Day is an inspired idea. I can now talk as a very proud Dad about the joy Eric has brought to my life. My dream would be to see him one day running the company I have built. And the most important lesson I have learned is what children teach you. They all have a voice.”
Eric even dressed as his famous father for a day at the office, complete with white shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, sharp shades, some grey hairs and a bit of makeup stubble.
Lauren – who shares son Adam with ex-husband Andrew – added: “Every child in the world deserves rights and a voice, thankfully today we can celebrate with Eric, and his brother Adam and many children who do have this – but there are many more who still need our support to be able fulfill their potential.”
‘X Factor’ boss Simon hasn’t been shy about his dreams for Eric, and he recently opened up about how he has tried to deal with stress from his own hectic career since becoming a dad.
He said: “My perspective on life is slightly different than it used to be. I used to be really competitive, read the ratings and have white knuckles.
“Now I find it funny. At the end of the day I always go back to Eric, who will hopefully one day be running these shows – one day, please God.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Levine worked at an American diner after his first record deal fell through.
The Maroon 5 frontman has opened up about his first foray into the working world and how after signing to a label very early on in his career, he had to took a job at Johnny Rockets when it “fell through”.
After that the ‘Sugar’ hitmaker – who with his bandmates has sold over 20 million albums – decided to venture into working in television, before Maroon 5 became one of the world’s best-selling artists and later landing his job as a coach on ‘The Voice’.
Speaking to People’s ‘Voice Coaches on Blast’ series, he said: “Technically my first job was a musician because I got signed to a record label at a young age, so I did get paid for that.
“But then I got a job at Johnny Rockets when that record deal didn’t work out, and then I got a job as a [production assistant] on a TV show actually.”
The ‘She Will Be Loved’ hitmaker also revealed his first concert experience was with his father, aged just 11.
He recalled: “My dad took me to go see Warrant.
“I was 11. [It was the] Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich tour, and it was at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. It was crazy.”
Adam also spoke about his childhood and how his father handed him down the “coolest” first car, an ’86 Chevy Blazer, which made him feel like “the king of Los Angeles”.
He said: “My first car I didn’t buy.
“My first car was my dad’s ’86 Chevy Blazer which might as well have been a Rolls-Royce at that point because I thought it was the coolest car ever.
“I grew up in it, and it was black with a red stripe on the bottom. Badass. I literally thought I was the king of Los Angeles in my beat up ’86 Chevy Blazer.”

Katy Perry tops Forbes list of highest paid women in music for 2018

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry has been named the highest paid woman in music in 2018 by Forbes.
The ‘Roar’ hitmaker has topped the business publication’s annual list with earnings of $83 million before tax over the 12 months from June to June, with the 80 dates of her huge ‘Witness’ world tour contributing the bulk of the cash receipts.
Meanwhile, Katy’s role on the judging panel for ‘American Idol’ reportedly netted her a further $20 million.
The numbers are calculated using “pre-tax earnings from 1 June 2017, through 1 June 2018, before deducting fees for agents, managers, lawyers and estate executors”.
Following Katy in second place on the list is Taylor Swift who banked $80 million over the year thanks to her hit album ‘Reputation’.
The LP sold two million copies in its opening weekend, and the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker was also helped by her subsequent stadium tour in support of the LP.
Forbes suggested that Taylor could have landed in the top spot if more of her live dates had fallen within the 12 month period.
There’s a chance Taylor could find herself further up the rankings for 2019 too, after it was revealed this week she has signed a new global recording agreement with Universal Music Group.
She spent her career to date signed to independent label Big Machine, meaning this move is her first major label deal.
Rounding off the top five after Katy and Taylor are Beyonce ($60 million), Pink ($52 million) and Lady Gaga $50 million), with Jennifer Lopez ($47 million) just missing out in sixth place.
They’re followed by Rihanna ($37.5 million), Helene Fischer ($32 million), Celine Dion ($31 million) and Britney Spears ($30 million).

Lena Dunham hosts psychological exploration of Oasis brothers

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham has hosted a “psychological exploration” of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher’s relationship.
The 32-year-old actress and musician Ben Lee put on a talk entitled ‘Champagne Superanalysis’ – a play on Oasis’ hit ‘Champagne Supernova’ – at the Largo in Los Angeles on Monday (19.11.18), which was attended by Brad Pitt and several stars from entertainment world.
Lena admitted during the event that her mum would be a big fan of Liam.
She said: “Liam, I think my mom would love you. I think she’d understand why you’re different. That you don’t play by everyone’s rules. She’d love your big, beautiful voice.”
‘Fury’ actor Brad kicked off the evening, tickets for which cost $40, by telling the audience: “Let’s do this, you ****s.”
Several stars such as Spike Jonze, Julianna Barwick, Jordan Black, Angela Trimbur, Penelope Gazin, Nick Mancini, Ione Skye, Ashley Blaine Featherson, Natasha Khan, Taylor Locke, Retta, and Lisa Loeb made guest contributions to the discussion.
Ben tweeted afterwards: “Most epic night ever!”
Lisa performed an acoustic version of Oasis song ‘Supersonic’ in between discussions about the pair’s rivalry, and the event culminated with a group sing-along of ‘Champagne Supernova’.
Singer/songwriter Cary Brothers was also in attendance at the event, and clearly enjoyed himself.
He wrote on Twitter: “Thanks so much to @benleemusic & @lenadunham for inviting me out to play at their @oasis appreciation night at @LargoLosAngeles! Such a crazy, hilarious, fun night. (sic)”
The idea for the talk came about in the summer when Lena and Ben were involved in a Twitter exchange about the brothers’ sibling rivalry after watching Oasis documentary ‘Supersonic’.
She wrote: “I watched the Oasis documentary and I have a LOT of big opinions about the Gallagher brothers’ relationship! I’m a Noel btw!!! (sic)”
Ben added: “Noel Gallagher interviews are a sure fire antidepressant for me. But Liam ones work too. (sic)”
The comedienne then suggested: “Shall we do a live reading? Not kidding call Flanny. (sic)”
Singer Dan Wilson then tweeted the pair, saying: “I’d pay to see a staged reading of gallagher interviews. noel’s interviews make me feel worldly-wise and liam’s make me feel victorious. (sic)”
Ben tweeted: “Brilliant idea. Gonna hold you both to this when it actually happens! (sic)”
Less than a month later, Ben was advertising tickets for the event.
He wrote on Twitter: “What happens with @lenadunham and I join forces for a psychological exploration of the Gallagher brothers relationship? Let’s find out! (sic)”
Liam – who released his debut solo LP ‘As You Were’ last year – and Noel have been at loggerheads for years, but things worsened between the pair when Oasis split in 2009, following a backstage bust-up at their concert in Paris, which saw Liam swing a guitar around his brother’s head.
As well as blasting each other in interviews, Liam, 46, has been known to use his Twitter account to make jibes at his 51-year-old sibling – including calling him a “potato” and a “scary clown” – as well as on stage.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Kidman moved to Hollywood because she “fell in love”.
The ‘Killing of a Sacred Deer’ star doesn’t think she would have necessarily pursued her passion for acting if she didn’t fall in love and marry actor Tom Cruise.
She said: “I moved here [to Los Angeles] because I fell in love and got married. I always make choices for love, and everything kind of had to fall in place around that.”
And the 51-year-old actress thinks there wasn’t “a lot of interest” in her relationship back then compared to how it is now with her husband Keith Urban, but thinks that is down to social media.
She added to Variety magazine: “If I look back, it actually didn’t seem like a lot of interest. We didn’t have social media then. We didn’t have paparazzi like now. You had definite control of it.”
Meanwhile, Nicole previously claimed being married to Tom gave her “respect” in the movie industry.
She said: “I don’t know why the culture is set up like that and we aren’t just protected anyway, but it’s interesting that the power of another man gives you respect.”
The ‘Big Little Lies’ star recently said she was “reluctant to talk about” her marriage to the ‘Mission: Impossible’ star because it feels “disrespectful” now she’s married to Keith, but she did admit Tom’s status helped to protect her whilst she was a young star in Hollywood.
She said at the time: “Being married to Tom Cruise at 22 is something I’m always reluctant to talk about, because I’m married now to the man who is my great love [Keith Urban], and it almost feels disrespectful. That said, I got married very young, but it definitely wasn’t power for me – it was protection. I married for love, but being married to an extremely powerful man kept me from being sexually harassed. I would work, but I was still very much cocooned. So when I came out of it at 32, 33, it’s almost like I had to grow up.”

The Chemical Brothers announce Spring 2019 album

OHMYGOSSIP — The Chemical Brothers are set to release their new album in Spring 2019.
The ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ hitmakers have announced their ninth studio album, entitled ‘No Geography’, will be released in Spring next year, marking their first release in four years after their 2015 record ‘Born In The Echoes’.
In a tweet from The Chemical Brothers official Twitter, they announced: “The Chemical Brothers have announced their new album ‘No Geography’ to be released Spring 2019! Also announced – UK live arena dates (on sale Fri 30th Nov at 9 am) & U.S. and Mexico live dates (on sale Dec 7 at 10am PST): https://www.thechemicalbrothers.com/#news #TheChemicalBrothers #NoGeography (sic)”
To celebrate the release of ‘No Geography’, the duo – comprised of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – will head out on a tour of the US and Mexico in May next year, followed by a UK arena tour in November.
A message on their official website reads: “The Chemical Brothers have announced their ninth studio album, ‘No Geography’. The band have also confirmed their first US live shows since 2015, a new Mexican performance and their biggest UK arena tour to date!
“No ‘Geography’ follows the Grammy-nominated 2015 album, ‘Born In the Echoes’, which was their sixth consecutive UK No. 1 album. ‘No Geography’ is set for a Spring 2019 release and features the exuberant new anthem, ‘Free Yourself’. Additional album details including tracklist are forthcoming.”
Tickets for the US shows go on exclusive pre-sale on December 4 with general sale on December 7, whilst the UK shows will hold a pre-sale on November 27, with general sale on November 30.

Millie Bobby Brown named UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador

OHMYGOSSIP — Millie Bobby Brown has been named the youngest UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
The ‘Stranger Things’ actress – who is best known for starring as Eleven in the award-winning Netflix sci-fi drama series – has supported the children’s charity since 2016, when she hosted its 70th anniversary celebrations at the United Nations.
As a Goodwill Ambassador, the 14-year-old star will use her global platform to raise awareness of children’s rights and issues affecting young people, such as poor education, violence, bullying and poverty.
Alongside a video explaining her role, she wrote on Instagram: “A dream come true! It’s a huge honour to become @UNICEF’s newest and youngest ever Goodwill Ambassador to help defend children’s rights across the world. I can’t wait to get started!
#WorldChildrensDay #GoBlue (sic)”
In a statement, she added:
“It’s a huge honour to join such an impressive list of people who have supported UNICEF over the years.
“I am looking forward to meeting as many children and young people as I can, hearing their stories, and speaking out on their behalf.”
The announcement was made on World Children’s Day (20.11.18) – a global day of action
“for children, by children” to raise awareness and funds for the millions of children that are “unschooled, unprotected and uprooted”.
Members of the public are encouraged to go online to sign a global petition calling on leaders to bring forth change to the lives of the millions of disadvantaged children on the planet.
UNICEF’s Executive Director, Henrietta Fore, commented: “I’m delighted to welcome Millie to the UNICEF family, particularly on World Children’s Day – a day that is all about giving children and young people a voice.
“Children are their own best advocates. I know that Millie will use her passion and dedication to defend the rights of vulnerable children and young people everywhere.”
Millie follows in the footsteps of the likes of David Beckham, Orlando Bloom, Jackie Chan, Danny Glover, Ricky Martin, Liam Neeson, Shakira and Lilly Singh in landing the role.
Last year, Millie induced ‘Baywatch’ star Priyanka Chopra into the “global family” alongside retired soccer ace David.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon shared a “horrid” first kiss with Joe Swash.
The 29-year-old star has opened up about the first time she locked lips with her partner and she admitted it was far from a perfect smooch.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, Stacey – who appeared alongside him on ‘I’m A Celebrity’ spin-off ‘Extra Camp’ in 2016 – said: “My first kiss with Joe was really awkward.
“I love kissing Joe and since then it’s been wonderful, but the first one was horrid! He basically helped me get all my bags ready to leave the jungle, left my room, and the knocked back on the door and just ran over and kissed me.
“I had no idea that that was about to happen and just… I didn’t know what to do.”
Things have improved for the couple since the first kiss, and Stacey has opened up about plans to grow her family with the 34-year-old star.
She has two sons – Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six – from two previous relationships, and previously said she’d love to have her first child with boyfriend Joe soon.
Addressing rumours of an engagement between Joe – who has 11-year-old son Harry with his former partner Emma Sophocleous – and herself, Stacey said: “I don’t know if Joe and I will ever get married. It’s not the top of our to-do list. We want to extend our family first.
“I definitely see myself having more babies, but because we’ve got three healthy kids between us we wouldn’t be upset if we didn’t. We’ve already got a lovely family.”

Mariah Carey humiliated by sick son

OHMYGOSSIP — Mariah Carey was humiliated when her son threw up on Michelle Obama.
The ‘Fantasy’ hitmaker was horrified when her son Moroccan, then two, ruined the then-First Lady’s dress when they met at the National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in 2013.
Mariah – who has Moroccan and his twin sister Monroe, now seven, with ex-husband Nick Cannon – laughed as she recalled: “Rocky spit up on Michelle Obama’s dress, and it was one of the most humiliating things that ever happened to me.
“She was like, ‘Thanks to you, I’ll never be able to wear this dress again, Rocky. So thank you.”
But that wasn’t the only embarrassing thing to have happened to Mariah because the 48-year-old singer also recalled how “mortified” she felt when she accidentally stole Meryl Streep’s seat at the Golden Globe awards in January.
The ‘All I Want For Christmas is You’ singer had gone to the bathroom during the show and took the wrong seat on her return, quickly realising she was in the ‘Mamma Mia!’ actress’ place – but the screen legend was “cool” about the mix-up.
She told ‘Watch What Happens Live’ host Andy Cohen: “That was so mortifying.
“She had spoken to me when I did ‘Precious’, and she was so sweet, and I was like, ‘I can’t believe that Meryl Streep was talking about my performance!’
“So, when I sat in her seat, I was like, ‘I didn’t do that. Please say I didn’t do that!'”
“But she was like, ‘You can sit in it anytime!’ She was very festive. She was cool about it.”
The 69-year-old actress previously joked she found Mariah in her seat “sucking up” to director Steven Spielberg – so she offered to sit in her lap.
She said: “B***h stole my seat! There she was next to Spielberg, sucking up. I said, ‘No, no, stay there.’ I said I’ll sit on your lap.”

Robert Redford writing memoir

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Redford is reportedly writing his memoir.
The 82-year-old Hollywood legend has announced he is retiring from acting and now wants to spend his time writing the story of his life and career which will document his highs and lows in the movie business and the truth about his relationships.
Redford also intends to open up on the most painful moments he has had to endure such as the death of his mother Martha, who passed away in childbirth, and the tragic death of his 10-week old son Scott, who passed away from sudden infant death syndrome in November 1959.
A source told America’s OK! magazine: “Robert’s not leaving any stone unturned. He wants to set the record straight about him and Natalie Wood, Jane Fonda and the other women in his life.
“He’s also going to include the reason he finally married again after years of avoiding the altar. He will address painful memories. He’s hoping this will be like therapy and bring him peace.”
Redford previously allowed writer Michael Callan to pen a biography on him – which was released in 2011 – and although he gave numerous interviews to the author and allowed him access to his family and friends and handed over private diaries and letters collated over many years, the Academy Award winner still did not open about the most emotionally traumatic moments he had lived through.
As well as baby Scott, Redford and his first wife Lola van Wagenen – who he divorced in 1985 – had three other children Shauna, David James, known as ‘Jamie” and Amy.
His life as a parent continued to be tinged with tragedy as Jamie was born seven weeks’ premature with a respiratory problem which almost proved fatal and then he developed ulcerative colitis and had to have his colon removed and required two liver transplants by the time he was 30.
In 1983, his daughter Shauna’s fiancé was found dead, shot in the back of the head.
Briefly talking about Scott’s death as a baby, the ‘Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid’ star previously said: “It was really hard. We were very young. I had my first theatre job, which didn’t pay much. We didn’t know anything about sudden infant death syndrome so as a parent you blame yourself. It creates a scar that never completely heals.”
After being in a relationship with Sibylle Szaggars for years the couple finally tied the knot in July 2009.
Redford made his big screen breakthrough in 1967 when he starred opposite Jane Fonda in ‘Barefoot in the Park’, the pair went on to appear in several more movies together sharing numerous steamy on-screen moments and the actress confessed she fell in love with him after making that first movie but nothing ever developed between them off screen.
Fonda – who also played Redford’s lover in ‘The Chase’, ‘The Electric Horseman’ and 2017 romantic Netflix drama ‘Our Souls at Night’ – said: “I was so in love with Bob. Nothing ever happened between us but he was fabulous to kiss. I had a mad crush. I couldn’t wait for the cuddling scenes. The only bad thing is he doesn’t like to do love scenes.”

Martha Stewart slams Uber after first ever trip

OHMYGOSSIP — Martha Stewart slammed Uber after using the app for the first time.
The 77-year-old TV star finally took the leap and used the “most expensive version” of the ride sharing service to take a ride in Manhattan.
She explained on Instagram: “My very first Uber! I ordered the most expensive version to pick me up on Fifth Avenue and 57th street in front of Tiffany’s…
“The first Uber did not show up The second Uber came ten minutes later and parked halfway down 57 th street where I could not see the license plate.
“Then we were facing east when I had to go west and south… Took twenty minutes to face south west Etc etc it only took a bit more than one hour. (sic)”
It only went from bad to worse for the star – who said she has long championed the idea of Uber from the beginning – as she shared pictures showing the mess inside the car.
She added: “On top of it all the car was a mess inside and out!!!!!!!!
“And I want Uber to succeed! I have been a fan of the concept since day one!!!!!(sic)”
Meanwhile, Martha is no stranger to technology or modern apps, and she admitted earlier this year while she has avoided Tinder she has given online dating a try in her search for love.
She previously said: “I used Match.com with great disappointment. They just don’t make algorithms for people like me.”
And Martha – whose previous partners include ex-husband Andrew Stewart, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Charles Simonyi – also revealed she has a tendency to check up on former flames.
She added: “I often Google my exes, I’m sure they Google me.”
