OHMYGOSSIP — Lionel Richie has launched an interiors collection.
The ‘Hello’ hitmaker has teamed up with retailer JCPenney for an “eclectic design experience” that he views as an “extension” of his songwriting career which showcases his “love of life”.
He said: “My home collection isn’t one particular style, but an eclectic design experience offering that connects my joy and love of life. Home is an extension of songwriting for me.”
The 69-year-old singer’s new range includes bedsheets, throw pillows, coverlet and comforter sets in a range of colours from black, navy and tan to gold or baby blue, as well as six-piece towels sets in all white, white and grey, white and blue, or white and tan.
And when he was creating the collection, Lionel – who has three children from his two previous marriages – wanted to produce pieces that helped make a home a sanctuary.
He said: “I have fun curating many décor style pieces to create my own unique personality.
“My tip it to try to experience life to the fullest, keep it simple, and create your own unique space at home.
“I travel so much. Home is my tranquility–my stay-cation–and through my passion for home design and experiences, I want to design a beautiful home space for you.”
Despite his new career direction, Lionel isn’t planning to quit music in favour of design as the ‘All Night Long’ hitmaker recently admitted he loves performing live and never wants to stop.
He previously said: “The tour hasn’t stopped. Once someone asked me how long is this tour gonna last, and I said, well I’ve been on tour since ’71.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kurt Russell forced Oliver Hudson to destroy his own car.
The 67-year-old actor was furious when he had to rescue his stepson, now 42, from a police station after he and his friends turned their loaded paintball guns on a group of teenagers who had attacked them and things got out of control.
Oliver recalled: “We go after the kids, but we ended up firing at a bunch of adults, who then called the cops, who then came up on us, guns drawn, assault with deadly weapons, full-on raid.”
Kurt – who has been in a relationship with Oliver’s mother Goldie Hawn for 35 years – picked up the ‘Splitting Up Together’ actor from the police station and came up with a harsh punishment.
Oliver told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel: “My punishment was to shoot up my Honda Prelude with blue leather interior.
“I had to shoot up my car, dent it up, and drive that for the rest of my existence.
“His philosophy is — I know what I did was wrong, right? So why ground me? So at point-blank range you’re going to destroy your car and you’re going to have to drive it for the rest of however long you own this car.”
Meanwhile, Oliver joked his new baby niece has “ruined” their family fun because his sister Kate Hudson – who welcomed Rani, her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujukawa, into the world earlier this month – has cancelled her annual Halloween party.
He said of the legendary bashes: “They’re at my sister’s house. Really, really amazing parties, although this year there’s no party. She had a baby. The baby ruined everything.
“I said to Kate, ‘You know what, who cares? There’s a baby, let’s still have a fun party. The baby will sleep. She’s only a few weeks old. She won’t know anything. We’ll just get wildly drunk and no one will know the difference.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon wouldn’t be embarrassed to buy a sex toy from a supermarket.
The 29-year-old star insisted she wouldn’t be bothered about being seen buying a racy product after it was revealed Sainsbury’s would be stocking three different bedroom toys from next month.
Discussing the topic on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’, Stacey added: “I’ve never really wanted one, but if I wanted one I’d just go buy it. I don’t think there’s anything embarrassing about it.”
Her co-host Saira Khan, 48, added that she usually does her shopping online, but joked she might have to “take a visit to their shop” to check out their new product range.
Meanwhile, Janet Street Porter, 71, admitted she would be embarrassed to buy an x-rated product in a supermarket.
She said: “I was shocked when i saw this. I actually like going to the supermarket once a week, walking round and everything’s always in a familiar place.
“I’m a little bit worried that my local branch of this shop has actually non-stick frying pans and kitchenware on one side, and the health and pharmaceutical stuff on the other side of the aisle. Well, one false move…”
Meanwhile, Stacey hasn’t been shy about discussing her love life on the daytime show, and earlier this week she admitted she watches films whilst she’s having sex with boyfriend Joe Swash.
Janet scoffed: “Well you must not have a sex life then.”
However, Stacey quickly fired back with a smile, saying: “My sex life is wonderful thank you. And I get to watch my favourite films at the same time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Roger Daltrey has never tried cocaine, despite being surrounded by rock ‘n’ roll excess his whole life.
The Who frontman avoided the temptation of the Class A drug and other substances when the British band hit the big time in the 60s because he was worried that the drugs would wreck his voice and wouldn’t be able to sing.
In an interview on UK TV show ‘Good Morning Britain’, he said: “When the drugs first started to come round in the early 60s with the Mods it was mostly amphetamines and they dry you out, and if they dry you out you can’t sing very well, and all I ever wanted to be was a good singer. I have never ever tried, I must be one of the only people my age who has never had a line of cocaine.”
Although Roger, 74, has been anti-drugs his bandmates did not share his vow of abstinence; bassist John Entwistle died at the age of 57 in June 2002 from a heart attack brought on by cocaine use, and drummer and renowned hellraiser Keith Moon passed away in September 1978 at the age of just 32 after taking an accidental overdose of a sedative which he had been prescribed to alleviate the side-effects of alcohol withdrawal as he tried to get sober.
Guitarist Pete Townshend, 73, has admitted he developed a taste for cocaine in the late 70s and early 80s.
In the television interview, Roger also opened up about his love for his wife Heather Taylor – whom he tied the knot with in 1971 – whom he has been with ever since the first night he met her.
The ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ rocker said: “She came home with me that night and never left. She had been a model and she understood the temptation of our business, the difficulties in keeping relationships together when you are all over the world and you’re in the biggest band in the world. Here we are 51 years later. I worship her, she’s fabulous … I was very lucky I met a woman in my life who I immediately fell in love with.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Comer was desperate to be part of ‘Killing Eve’ because it was such an “absurd and unique” story.
The 25-year-old actress plays psychopath assassin Villanelle in the BBC drama and once she was offered the chance to read for the part she wanted the role because she has so much respect for writer Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s work.
Speaking to Stylist magazine, Jodie said: “It’s absurd, it’s unique and that’s down to Phoebe’s voice. She says things other people don’t. People would say, ‘You can’t say that’, and Phoebe’s always said, ‘Why can’t I?’ What I learnt from Phoebe was to dare to do whatever you want. Don’t be scared to fall flat on your face. You don’t realise how much you are constantly thinking about what someone else is going to perceive you as. When you meet people who don’t care it is so refreshing. This was the first script in such a long time where I thought, ‘This is brilliant.’ I hadn’t worked at all that year and this was in May time. I loved ‘Fleabag’ so I knew whatever Phoebe did would be brilliant.”
Jodie – who stars in ‘Killing Eve’ alongside Sandra Oh, who plays MI5 agent Eve Polastri who is tasked with catching Villanelle – felt like she could relate to her “lonely” character.
She said: “I think she is lonely. In episode one she says, ‘I just want someone to watch movies with.’ I think that’s something we’ve all felt. We’re probably at a time in history where we have all this social media and you’d think it would bring people together more, and obviously it can, but it does exclude people and it can bring a lot of anxiety.”

The 20-year-old model got a head start on the spooky holiday by sharing a photo from inside the home she shares with boyfriend Scott Disick, 35, on her Instagram account wearing a bright red wig with heavy red eyeshadow on her eyelids and under her eyes, whilst playfully posing with a red cherry.
Sofia – who is the daughter of Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander – wore tight-fitting latex red latex cycling shorts with a diamante buckle and a matching red bra and Sofia captioned the super sexy shot “Dare to play”.
She was flooded with comments from fans who loved her revealing new look.
One fan said: “OMG Sofia looks amazing! Actually love this look. Slay queeeen (sic)”

Sofia’s Instagram is packed full of shots taken by Scott and it was previously revealed that the model is helping her partner to become “be a better person.”
Despite previous inhibitions – the model has got the approval of Scott’s ex Kourtney Kardashian and the mother-of-three really “trusts” Sofia.
A source told People magazine: “Everyone really likes her. They think she’s a great influence and Scott is so in love, so it’s not a problem.
“Sofia is helping Scott be a better, healthier person. Kourtney feels confident that Scott and Sofia take good care of the kids. Scott is a great dad when he has his life together. It helps that Kourtney now trusts Sofia. The kids are allowed to spend time with her. Sofia likes having them and helps Scott. So far, the kids are giving Kourtney good reports about Sofia.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Big Brother’ legend Ziggy Lichman has been living with fibromyalgia syndrome.
The 37-year-old hunk appeared in series eight of the reality TV show in 2007 and his romance with Chanelle Hayes in the house was one of the main talking points of that year.
Ziggy reunited with his ex-lover on ‘Loose Women’ on Wednesday (24.10.18) and during his interview revealed that he has been suffering with the long-term health condition which causes tiredness and pain all over the body ever since he went on a skiing trip and plummeted into some “rocks”.
He said: “Unfortunately for me, we’ve never discussed this but I got diagnosed fibromyalgia. So I went on a skiing holiday and I hit rocks and the knock on effect was I got this. It was a really tough experience to have, it wears you down quite a lot.”
Ziggy and Chanelle, 30, were dubbed the ‘Posh and Becks of reality TV’ when they were together, however, the pair’s relationship ended abruptly six months after the show’s finale.
Ziggy admitted they were “in love” once upon a time, whilst Chanelle thinks the hangers on around them at the time wrecked their romance.
He said: “I have no doubt we were in love. TV love obviously because we were sectioned into that situation … We didn’t even know if we were on or off, we genuinely cared for each other, I have no doubt we were in love, but we had people in our ear.”
And Chanelle added: “There was so many people saying such different things to us, you had no idea what was true and what was not true.
“If we’d met in different circumstances perhaps. But I would have been a complete fish out of water in London. I’m from Wakefield, I love Yorkshire. So unless you [Ziggy] would have moved casually up to Yorkshire then I don’t think it would have worked, no.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend uses clothes to reflect who he is as an artist.
The 39-year-old singer doesn’t want his clothes to “scream entertainer” and avoids garish looks as fashion can be a “really powerful visual shorthand” although he admits he hasn’t always thought this way and regrets some of his earlier outfit choices.
In an interview with GQ, he said: “I try to consider that clothes reflect the person I am as an artist. I don’t want my style to scream ‘entertainer’. Fashion can be a really powerful visual shorthand. To be fair, any man that grew up as a teenager in the Eighties will have learned this the hard way. I look back at the bagginess of my jeans sometimes and wonder, ‘What was I thinking?’ ”
The ‘All Of Me’ hitmaker – who shares a home in California and in New York City with his wife Chrissy Teigen, 32, and their two children, Luna, two, and five-month-old Miles – changes his look depending on what part of the country he is residing in.
He said: “The clothing I have here in California would certainly be a slightly different vibe to the clothing I have back in New York.
“I mean the weather here is better, obviously, so the fabric needs to be more breathable and a little looser. With a more relaxed vibe comes more colour, you know?”
The ‘Love Me Now’ singer added that his ultra-chic clothing choices in the city could occasionally “mess with his sense of style”.
He said: “Sometimes when I was living back in New York, the sleek, chic, in-control power thing messed with your sense of style a little too much. It’s so uptight! You could never be off duty, you know?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis had a secret 10-year addiction to opiates.
The 59-year-old actress was prescribed pills in 1989 after minor plastic surgery for her “hereditary puffy eyes” and spent the next decade doing what she could to get her hands on more medication, even stealing from her friends and family.
She said: “I was ahead of the curve of the opiate epidemic. I had a 10-year run, stealing, conniving. No one knew. No one.”
The ‘Halloween’ star’s sister Kelly was the first person to find out about her addiction in 1998 and the actress attended her first recovery meeting in February 1999, confiding in her husband Christopher Guest – the father of her children Annie, 31, and 22-year-old Tom – later that day.
And Jamie – whose late father Tony Curtis abused alcohol, cocaine and heroin, while her half-brother Nicholas died from a heroin overdose in 1994 – couldn’t be prouder of her near-20-year sobriety.
She told People magazine: “I’m breaking the cycle that has basically destroyed the lives of generations in my family. Getting sober remains my single greatest accomplishment… bigger than my husband, bigger than both of my children and bigger than any work, success, failure. Anything.”
The ‘True Lies’ actress continues to attend meetings and offers her help and support to others struggling with similar addictions.
She said: “In recovery meetings, anyone who brings up opiates, the entire room will turn and look at me, because I’ll be like, ‘Oh here, talk to me. I’m the opiate girl.’ ”
Meanwhile, Jamie recently admitted she doesn’t feel like her career is “hard work” and there are many people who have things much tougher than she does.
She said: “Being an actor in a movie is not hard work. It’s physical, it can hurt a little bit, it can be very taxing emotionally. But any person trying to raise a couple of kids and hold down a couple of jobs works way harder than I’ve ever worked a day in my life.”

The 23-year-old curvaceous babe has posted four consecutive emotionally distressed tweets about feeling “low” and needing to concentrate on herself which have led her followers to conclude she’s separated from Sam, who she has been dating since last October.
She posted: “When someone can leave you when your feeling so low about your self they are not worth it!! Sometimes in life you just need to take a step away and just think about your self … Crazy how everything can be so perfect and the next it’s all gone so quickly time for new starts in life (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Dyer claimed Kellie Bright “forgot” to bring home their Inside Soap Award because she was drunk.
The ‘EastEnders’ actress accepted the Best Parternship gong for the on-screen couple – who play husband and wife Mick and Linda Carter on the soap – this week, but it appears she was celebrating a bit too much as it slipped her mind at the end of the night.
The two stars thanked fans for their votes in a video shared on Twitter, and Danny laughed: “We’d like to show you the award in our hands, but unfortunately she’s forgot it.
“She was… how can I put it, she was battered last night. She was celebrating.”
While Danny was telling the story, Kellie made sure to clarify that she definitely hasn’t “lost” the trophy.
She added: “I wouldn’t say lost, I’d say forgot.”
Despite the awkward mishap with the physical award, the pair were still delighted to be recognised at the ceremony.
Kellie said they were both “genuinely chuffed”, while Danny told their fans that they are very grateful for the support.
He said: “You’re so lovely all of you and we never take it for granted.”
Although it was a great night for the duo, it was ‘Coronation Street’ which was the big winner on Monday (22.10.18), as the UK’s longest running soap took home an amazing eight prizes, including best Soap.
Besides Danny and Kellie’s award, the only other category won by ‘EastEnders’ saw Shakil and Keegan’s attack named Best Show-Stopper.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Coronation Street’ actress Victoria Ekanoye says viewers should expect to see even more “lies” with Jude and Angie’s dark plot.
The 36-year-old soap star’s character Angie Appleton – who debuted on the cobbles in August 2017 – has revealed that viewers will see a different “side” to her on-screen husband Jude (Paddy Wallace), and should expect even more shocking twists on his abusive and lying ways.
‘Corrie’ fans were left flabbergasted on Tuesday night (23.10.18) when Angie’s husband Jude was seen hitting his mother Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) when she confronted him about his constant lying and threatened to tell his wife about his deceiving ways.
Speaking to the Metro, Victoria said: “Yes. There’s always surprises with Jude, and without saying too much I don’t think the lies will ever stop with Jude. That’s the problem.
“And ultimately, although Angie wants to do everything to keep that family unit together, there’s going to come a point where she’s kind of like ‘I’ve done everything I can’.
“It’s a side to him people haven’t seen before.”
The soap star also suggested that Jude “believes” his own lies and will go to any lengths to preserve his marriage with Angie – even though viewers have been left horrified after seeing his true colours and scheming behaviour.
She added: “In his mind he wants for what he believes to be real and he’ll do anything to protect that idea in his head.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s families were reportedly “relieved” about their break-up.
The 25-year-old singer and the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star – who got engaged in June after just a few weeks of dating – ended their relationship earlier this month and their loved ones think they have made the right decision.
A source told People magazine: “She threw herself into the relationship with Pete. She is young, but at least mature enough to realise this wasn’t the right relationship or the right time to get married.
“[Her loved ones] always thought the engagement to Pete happened way too quickly. They didn’t want her to get married to Pete. And Ariana never got to the wedding planning stage. It was all way too soon.”
The report comes after Ariana had revealed she wants to head out on tour to help her heal following her difficult yer.
She has had a tough few months after her former boyfriend Mac Miller passed away in September, and the star has now said she thinks that her “heart needs” to head out on the road in support of her latest album ‘Sweetener’ – which features a track named ‘Pete Davidson’ – in order to help her push past the tragedies she has suffered.
When one fan asked on Twitter: “any news about sweetener tour? if not pls don’t stress about it ! we can wait / we want you to be actually ready to go on tour (sic)”

The WWE superstar has shared a number of thought-provoking tweets as of late, and now he has urged people to “learn” from their mistakes rather than only talking about positive experiences.
He wrote: “It’s easy and often we talk about the “wins” in our lives, how often do we talk about the “losses”?
“There is much more to be learned from failure than from victory yet with most victory is discussed and failure is privatized. Try the reverse, you may learn something new. (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘Bumblebee’ actor led the way as wrestlers voiced their supported for Roman Reigns, who revealed this week he is battling leukaemia.
Roman – whose real name is Joe Anoa-i – made the sad announcement on Monday Night Raw (22.10.18), and explaiend he was first diagnosed with the disease 11 years ago but it has been in remission.
He said: “Sometimes life throws you a curve ball.
“And right now, the best thing for me is to go home, focus on my family and my health.
“But I want to make one thing clear – by no means is this a retirement speech. Because once I’m done whipping leukaemia’s ass I’m coming back home.”
Responding to the announcement, Cena tweeted: “‘Courage – strength in the face of pain or grief.’ You have given us your everything including a courageously vulnerable moment.
“We, your WWE family, give you all of our love and support. #ThankYouRoman #NeverGiveUp”
WWE confirmed the sad news on its official website, and released a statement announcing that Reigns would be “taking a leave of absence” from the company.
It added: “Reigns is taking his battle with leukaemia public in an effort to raise awareness and funds for research in order to advance cures for the disease.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake still texts his high school teacher.
The 31-year-old rapper dropped out of high school to pursue acting full time – when he spent six years starring in ‘Degrassi’ – before moving to his successful music career, but despite not finishing his education, one of his high school teachers still keeps in touch to tell him she’s proud of him.
Drake shared a screenshot of a text message conversation between himself and someone named Kim on Instagram, which shows the teacher sending him a link to an article which stated he had scored his 12th Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 of 2018, surpassing the record previously held by The Beatles.
Kim wrote alongside the article: “WOW!!!! That’s pretty incredible! I often wonder what your 16/17 self would think. Pretty awesome! Congrats! (sic)”
In the screenshot, Drake had then replied: “Hahahahahahaha
“I don’t think my 16 or 17 year old self would comprehend I would just want a Nestea and to figure out how I can turn my 61% into a 73% ASAP (sic)”
The ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker then added in the caption of the image that he “loves” his old teacher for supporting him.
He added: “My favorite teacher in high school still texts me as if I am coming to class this week and I love her for that.”
Although he dropped out of school, Drake did eventually graduate in 2012, at the age of 26.
Meanwhile, Drake began a new chapter of his life last year when he welcomed son Adonis – who he has with French artist Sophie Brussaux – into the world, and has said he feels so lucky to be able to experience fatherhood.
He said: “[He has] crazy blue eyes – baby blue eyes. He’s already in the pool shooting the basketball. I’m just excited. All of the things I’ve learned from and through my father and the incredible things I’ve learned through my mother about patience, about unconditional love.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis says being an actor is “not hard work”.
The 59-year-old Hollywood star has praised people who simultaneously raise their children and “hold down a couple of jobs” for working “way harder” than she says she’s ever worked in her life, as she doesn’t believe being a movie star is a difficult job in comparison.
Appearing on Australian television show ‘The Project’, Jamie was asked if her role in the new ‘Halloween’ reboot – in which she reprises her role as Laurie Strode after starring in the 1978 original movie – was “taxing”, because it “looked exhausting”.
And Jamie replied: “Well let me say this, I’m in Australia. People work hard in Australia. They work hard all over the world but the people and friends I have here in Australia, people work really hard. And so for me to say it was hard work, somebody should like literally tell me to shut up.
“Because being an actor in a movie is not hard work. It’s physical, it can hurt a little bit, it can be very taxing emotionally. But any person trying to raise a couple of kids and hold down a couple of jobs works way harder than I’ve ever worked a day in my life.”
Jamie’s criticism of her career comes after she previously claimed acting wasn’t the profession she had originally wanted for herself, as she initially pursued a career as a police officer.
The ‘True Lies’ star – who is the daughter of Hollywood stars Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh – said: “I didn’t think I would be an actor. I was a very bad student but I wanted to be a police officer because I thought I would be good at it. While studying to be a cop I became an actor by accident.”
