Tiffany Haddish won’t date men with kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Tiffany Haddish won’t date a man with children.
The ‘Nobody’s Fool’ actress has previously been open about her crush on Drake but after the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker recently confirmed he and Sophie Brussaux welcomed son Adonis into the world in October 2017, she’s no longer interested in him.
She told ‘Extra’: “He got kids now. I can’t do that… He has a son… He did a TV show with LeBron James… He showed picture of his son and everything…
“I want to be number one and I’ve dated men that had kids before, and you fall in love with the kids and then you don’t want to be with the dude no more, but you stay with him because of the kids, uhhh, I would rather be kid-free.”
While she isn’t interested in anyone else in Hollywood at the moment, the 38-year-old actress is open to going on a blind date.
She said: “I went to prom on a blind date… We had a great time… I’m not opposed to blind dates.”
The ‘Girls Trip’ actress previously claimed Drake had asked her out after she starred in his music video ‘Nice For What’ – but he cancelled at the last minute due to a “family emergency” – which cost her $100,000.
She said: “I love me a lot. I’m very busy. I would like to date.
“I really don’t have a lot of time for it, but when somebody asks me out on a date that I’m interested in hanging out with, I will clear the schedule, I will make some time.”
Recalling Drake asking her out, she added: “He’s like, ‘let me take you to dinner.
“I was like shoot, I’m gonna get my moustache waxed, get my armpits waxed. Got me a nice little dress.
“I was like OK, I could have made $100,000 today, but I was trying to see what that D do.”

Liam Gallagher’s spooky psychic

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher reportedly booked a psychic to give his family “spooky revelations” as part of their pre-Halloween holiday in Los Angeles.
The 46-year-old rocker has been on vacation in LA with his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther and children Mollie, 21, Lennon, 19, and Gene, 17, and has reportedly decided to up the scare factor by ordering a psychic to visit their home and give readings to everyone with a spooky twist.
A source said: “Liam wanted to have a super-fun family holiday and went all out. Every corner you turn in LA there are psychics so they got one to come to the house. She gave a reading to everyone and came up with spooky revelations.”
The trip was completed by less spooktacular events including hiring a mariachi band and going on treks in the Hollywood hills, but the former Oasis frontman and his family are said to have had the “best” time.
The insider told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “They had a mariachi band and went on treks in the Hollywood hills – they all said it was the best holiday they ever had.”
Liam’s family vacation comes as he’s been spending more time with his daughter Mollie – whom he has with Lisa Moorish – after only meeting her for the first time earlier this year.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker rekindled his relationship with Mollie and over the summer he took her on vacation in Europe with his sons as a bonding exercise.
A source said at the time: “Being united with his daughter Molly has made Liam’s year. They are a proper unit now, and are going on holiday together in a few weeks. Molly gets on really well with Gene and Lennon, and they will be on the hols as well. It’s going to be a rock-and-roll trip around Europe. And she will get to properly hang out with her grandma Peggy who is a legend in the family.”

Duchess Meghan praises New Zealand for women’s rights

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has praised New Zealand on its 125th anniversary of giving women the right to vote.
The 37-year-old royal – who was known as Meghan Markle before marrying Prince Harry in May this year – gave a moving speech on Sunday (28.10.18) as she visited Government House in Wellington, New Zealand, for a celebration of the historic milestone which saw the country become the first in the world to allow women to vote.
Meghan – who has been known for her feminist views and activism for many years – praised the country for the “impact” its decision had on other country’s views on women’s suffrage.
She said: “We are proud to be able to join you tonight in celebrating the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in your country.
“The achievements of the women of New Zealand who campaigned for their right to vote, and were the first in the world to achieve it, are universally admired. In looking forward to this very special occasion, I reflected on the importance of this achievement, but also the larger impact of what this symbolises.”
The former ‘Suits’ star spoke about the wider change this has brought for feminism in the modern day, as she said the actions of the past have made way for the fight for “the basic and fundamental human rights of all people”.
She added: “Because yes, women’s suffrage is about feminism, but feminism is about fairness. Suffrage is not simply about the right to vote but also about what that represents: the basic and fundamental human right of being able to participate in the choices for your future and that of your community, the involvement and voice that allows you to be a part of the very world that you are a part of.
“Women’s suffrage is not simply about the right to vote for women, but also about what that represents: the basic and fundamental human right of all people, including those members of society who have been marginalised whether for reasons of race, gender, ethnicity or orientation, to be able to participate in the choices for their future and their community.”
Meghan then praised New Zealand once again for “paving the way” for women across the globe.
She concluded: “So bravo, New Zealand, for championing this right 125 years ago – for the women who well deserve to have an active voice and acknowledged vote, and for all of the people that this effort has paved the way for globally. We all deeply thank you.”

Stacey Solomon: I want more kids before I get married

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon wants to “extend” her family with Joe Swash before the couple think about tying the knot.
The 29-year-old singer has two sons – Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six – from two previous relationships, and says she’d love to have her first child with boyfriend Joe soon.
Addressing rumours of an engagement between Joe – who has 11-year-old son Harry with his former partner Emma Sophocleous – and herself, Stacey said: “I don’t know if Joe and I will ever get married. It’s not the top of our to-do list. We want to extend our family first. I definitely see myself having more babies, but because we’ve got three healthy kids between us we wouldn’t be upset if we didn’t. We’ve already got a lovely family.”
The former ‘X Factor’ finalist says she’s not particularly strict when it comes to her brood, as she loves taking them out for fast food every now and then.
She added: “One day, I’ll be like ‘We’ve got everything organic’, and the next minute I’m like. ‘Let’s go to McDonalds!’ I change all the time, but then the kids are always changing, and life is always changing.”
Stacey rarely loses her temper with her sons, but says she did recently get into an argument with Joe, 36, after he claimed she should throw out her piano because she never plays it.
When asked by Notebook magazine when the last time she lost her temper was, Stacey said: “Joe and I are moving in together and I’ve got a piano in my house that I never play. He said I should get rid of it, and we had a big argument. That was the last time I lost it. It was such a silly argument, but it means so much to me, even though I haven’t played it in 10 years. I’m keeping it!”

John Cleese: The planet is littered with my exes

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cleese says “the planet is littered” with his former partners.
The 79-year-old actor has been married four times – to Connie Booth from 1968 to 1978, Barbara Trentham from 1981 to 1990, Alyce Cleese from 1992 to 2008, and to current wife Jennifer Wade, whom he married in 2012 – and has said his three former wives, and the two children he has with them, are a “pain in the a**e”.
John – who has 41-year-old daughter Cynthia with first wife Connie, and 34-year-old daughter Camilla with second wife Barbara – said: “Young people have kids and then spend the next 30 years looking after them. For what, I don’t know. It makes you less selfish.
“Basically they are a pain in the a**e as they cost a fortune and you have no control over that, and they are never grateful. But I do have a good one, and the other one is OK. The planet is littered with my ex-wives.”
The ‘Monty Python’ star also bemoaned the idea of his comedy pals Eric Idle and Michael Palin being applauded for their lasting marriages – to Tania Kosevich and Helen Gibbins respectively – as he doesn’t see it as a great achievement.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror newspaper, he said: “Eric Idle has been married 40 years, Michael Palin 50. Everyone claps when you mention this. I say this is just a failure of imagination. I’ve been married 42 years if you add the bits together.”
John’s recent rant comes after he revealed last month he’s going deaf, but doesn’t mind because it means he no longer has to listen to things that don’t interest him.
He said: “[I’m going] increasingly deaf. [It’s not a] burden. On the contrary, I find it quite liberating. I smile and nod and point at my ears, and am thus released from the duty of taking notice of all the rubbish directed at me.”

Jamie Lee Curtis: I’m scared of liars

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis is terrified of “liars”.
The 59-year-old actress recently reprised her role as Laurie Strode in the reboot of the classic horror movie franchise ‘Halloween’ – after she starred in the role in the original 1978 movie of the same name – but has said her biggest fear in real life isn’t psycho killers, but people who don’t tell the truth.
When asked what scares her the most, Jamie said: “Liars. People who pretend to be one thing and mean another. Somebody who says ‘This is orange juice’, and you’re like, ‘No, it’s water’. But there are people in my country, if they say this is orange juice long enough, you’ll believe it’s orange juice. That scares the s**t out of me terribly – we’re at a time in the world where there are some people who say one thing and mean completely the other.”
But although she’s terrified of untrustworthy people, she won’t be making any liar-based Halloween costumes for her children – daughter Annie, 31, and son Thomas, 22, whom she has with husband Christopher Guest – as she claims they enjoy more “obscure” get-ups for the spooky holiday.
Asked how she celebrates Halloween (31.10.18) herself, she said: “I’ve raised two children. I’ve made more Halloween costumes than any other person I know. I can operate a sewing machine. My son likes very obscure costumes. He’s a gamer, so he wants to be weird characters from video games. I made a Vivi from ‘Final Fantasy’ costume once.”
One thing the family won’t be doing when Halloween rolls around next week, is watching any of the ‘Halloween’ movies.
Jamie told Notebook magazine: “Nobody [in my family] watches ‘Halloween’. We don’t sit around and watch movies that I’m in, like, ‘Hey kids, come on in, we’re watching ‘Perfect’! Look, that’s me, there I am again!’ You know, my children are over it. My husband is over it. The last thing they want is to talk about me.”

Sara Cox named as new BBC Radio 2 drivetime presenter

OHMYGOSSIP — Sara Cox will replace Simon Mayo and Jo Whiley on the BBC Radio 2 Drivetime show.
The 43-year-old broadcaster is “beyond chuffed” to have landed the prestigious hosting slot on the UK radio station, which airs weekdays between 5pm to 7pm, after the 60-year-old DJ announced last week that he was leaving to focus on his novel writing career.
She said: “I’ve been proud to be part of the Radio 2 family for a few years now.
“And the opportunity to present such a big show as Drivetime – playing fantastic music and hopefully making people smile as they cook tea or head home after a day’s graft – is the icing on what is already a very brilliant cake.
I’m beyond chuffed to be given this role and to directly quote my mum on hearing the good news, it is indeed fandabbyruddydozy (sic)”
Jo will now host her own show on the station between 7pm and 9pm starting in January.
This move comes after Zoe Ball was announced to replace Chris Evans on the Breakfast Show.
Jo’s new Evening Session series which will see her host live music on the airwaves, meaning BBC bosses are looking for a new Drivetime presenter.
Simon admitted he surprised himself with his decision to quit his programme, but he decided he would be too busy with his writing and overseeing the TV and film adaptations of some of his books to be on air every afternoon.
He said: “I have, much to my surprise, decided to leave Radio 2 in December, I was expecting to hang on until I was 150. But circumstances change and next year was getting very busy and in 2019 the book that I mentioned which is ‘The Itch’ series is being made into a television series in Perth in Australia.
“And ‘Mad Blood Stirring’ which is a book I wrote this year, that’s an ongoing film project and intend to work on both projects.
“And I have a new two book deal too, so my two publishers will be expecting a book very soon … I’m very sad to be leaving the show, I’m very sad to be leaving you Jo. I’m very sad to be leaving Wogan House, I’m very sad to be leaving the whole production team, but excited at the same time, does that make sense to be sad and excited?”

Olivia Munn: If speaking up costs me my career, I don’t want it anyway

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Munn has vowed to continue “speaking up” even if it damages her career.
The 38-year-old actress found out that the actor Steven Wilder Striegel, a registered sex offender, acted in her film ‘The Predator’ and his scene was cut as a result.
Last month, it was revealed that the ‘Iron Man 2’ star was given the cold shoulder by many of her co-stars in the sci-fi thriller for speaking out against him, and she has now admitted if she was faced with a similar situation again she would have no problem with leaving her job because she will never be silenced.
Speaking to the December issue of Cosmopolitan US magazine, she said: “I’m not for sale . . . If speaking up costs me my career, I don’t want it anyway.”
Olivia was one of several actresses who came forward with sexual misconduct allegations about director Brett Ratner last year.
The ‘Magic Mike’ star claimed he had performed a sex act on himself in front of her in 2004 on the set of ‘After the Sunset’.
Olivia – who is an advocate for the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements, which were created as a result of the dozens of celebrities who spoke out against sexual harassment last year – claims that many people in the industry “turned a blind eye” when faced with such allegations and that it took a lot for people’s mindsets to start to “change”.
Speaking about the shamed producer Harvey Weinstein, she told the publication: “I remember where I was when I heard that people were getting outraged about Weinstein and I thought, ‘People care? They didn’t used to care, nobody cared’.
“For so long, people turned a blind eye.
“When it hits their movie, their show, their bottom line – no one wants it to happen, but when it does happen, what do you do?
“Hollywood is really big on symbolism but crappy on change.”
Olivia says that the advice she was given after she accused Brett was shocking.
She said: “The advice you’re given is: their power trumps your power and right and wrong doesn’t really come into play.”

Kanye West wants seven kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West says Kanye West wants “seven” children.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star already has three kids with the 41-year-old rapper – North, five, Saint, two, and eight-month-old daughter Chicago – but it appears her husband wants an even bigger family.
Speaking to her friend Larsa Pippen on the reality show, her children got brought up and she said: “Kanye wants to have more, though.
“He’s been harassing me. He wants like seven. He’s like stuck in seven.”
However, the 38-year-old parent admitted the number of school shootings in the US made her “hesitant” of bringing any more lives in the world.
She added: “[Seven kids is] crazy. I could never, especially in like the world we live in…
“I’ve been kinda hesitant about having more kinds because it literally keeps me up at night, thinking about how my kids will survive in a crazy world like this.”
Meanwhile, Kim recently opened up about the impact being a mother has had on her relationship with Kanye.
While she insisted she isn’t a sexual person in her private life, the star added that being a mum of three has made her feel “more confident”.
She previously said: “I absolutely think you can [be both a mother and sexy]. I was somebody who gained 60 or 70 pounds in my pregnancies and felt so unlike myself and so unsexy. Literally, at the end, when you can’t even have sex, I thought, ‘I’m never going to have sex again in my life!’ I just felt so bad about myself in my soul.
“I didn’t lose weight that quickly. But I’d say eight months later, I had probably my best body ever. I felt like, ‘I did this. I lost all this weight on my own. I feel better than ever!’ I just put my body through that, and so it was empowering when I did a nude shoot.
“I definitely have two different personalities like that. But I think motherhood has actually made me more confident about being publicly sexy.”

Alex Rodriguez teaches Jennifer Lope about baseball

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Rodriguez has been teaching Jennifer Lopez about baseball.
The retired sportsman – who spent time with the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees over a 22-year career – was back to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Boston Red Sox in the World Series over the weekend, and he has been teaching his partner about some of the game’s nuances as she showed off certain hand signs.
He told EXTRA: “I love bunting and hitting and running; the modern-day fan kind of forgot about that because it’s not a part of it anymore, so I said, ‘Jennifer, what’s the sign? What’s bunt?’
“And then she went, ‘That’s hit and run,’ so we have fun… I teach her and our kids the signs at dinnertime.”
Although A-Rod has taught J-Lo about bunting – a technique which sees the batter loosely hold the bat in front of the plate and intentionally tap the ball into ply – he isn’t looking to get any dance lessons in return.
Alex – who has Natasha, 13, and Ella, 10, with his former wife Cynthia Scurtis – joked: “Let’s not get crazy. There is no sign that can ever help me or amount of drinks that can help me be a good dancer.”
His comments come after his partner – who he has been dating since March 2017 – revealed they have a “nice dynamic” in their relationship.
J-Lo previously gushed: “When you have a partner that is so supportive of what you do, you don’t have to hold back.
“With him, it’s like, how much more do you want to do? How much bigger do you want to get? How can I help you? Where do you need me to be?
“And I like to do the same for him. It’s just a nice dynamic that I have never experienced, and I am really happy about that.”

Evanna Lynch praises Jude Law as Dumbledore

OHMYGOSSIP — Evanna Lynch has heaped praise on Jude Law’s performance as Dumbledore in ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’.
The 27-year-old actress played Luna Lovegood in the original ‘Harry Potter’ movies, and she can’t wait for fans of the franchise – which is based on the award-winning books by J.K. Rowling – to witness the 45-year-old actor take on the role of the legendary headmaster of Hogwarts in the second spin-off.
She told The Hollywood Reporter: “He is so perfect as Dumbledore.
“He totally captures that serenity, that inner peace.”
Jude plays a younger version of Dumbledore and Evanna teased that fans will see a “manipulative side” of the witchcraft and wizardry school leader, who was played by the late Richard Harris and Michael Gambon in the ‘Harry Potter’ movies.
She said: “He captures the manipulative side of Dumbledore.
“Dumbledore’s a kind person — he’s nice.
“He’s not manipulative in an evil way.
He wants to get people on his side, fighting for the right thing.
“You see that in book six, and that’s really shown more, explored more, in this movie.
“From what I’ve seen, I think he’s perfect.”
The Irish actress also teased that “a lot of bombshells” will be “dropped” in the next instalment.
She said: “The second movie goes so much deeper into the world.
“It really gives much more texture to all the characters that we know and love as the secondary characters — the adults who were running Hogwarts — so I’m so excited. A lot of bombshells are going to be dropped in this movie, which I can’t wait for the rest of the fans to find out.”
‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ follows the story of enemies Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald – who will be played again by Johnny Depp – and sees Jude’s alter-ego team up with former student Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) in an attempt to stop Grindelwald, one of the most powerful and dangerous Dark Wizards of all time, in creating a world where pure-bloods rule over Muggles.
The movie hit screens in the UK on November 16.

Stormzy reveals Paul McCartney’s ‘incredible’ piano lesson

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy says Sir Paul McCartney gave him an “incredible” piano lesson.
The two artists met over the summer when the Beatles legend played a show at Abbey Road Studios in London, and the ‘Hey Jude’ hitmaker delivered some words of wisdom to the grime superstar.
Stormzy told the Sunday Times: “I was just so compelled, in the presence of someone that great, to get advice — anything for my career an OG like him can give me.
“But I know the stigma that comes with being a rapper, so I introduced myself as a songwriter: ‘Can you teach me something?'”
“He went to the piano, and I just thought, ‘Shut up, listen.’ What he taught me was incredible. He said, ‘Use these three chords, and make any song.’ I was, like, ‘Flipping heck!’ ”
Paul has previously opened up to the publication about the impromptu lesson he gave the rapper to help him improve his musicianship.
He explained: “Stormzy asked for advice. He’s looking to advance his music.
“As a rapper, I thought he’d have words down, but there was a piano, so I showed him basic stuff – how you get middle C, make a chord, a triad and, just by moving that, get D minor, E minor, F, G, A minor, and how that’s enough for anyone.”
Meanwhile, the 76-year-old star has also admitted he would love to experiment with electronic music and collaborate with an EDM artist in the future.
He said: “Yeah I would. When I do electronic music it tends to be me as ‘The Nutty Professor’ in his lab! But, I wouldn’t rule out the idea.”

The Prodigy revive old school sound

OHMYGOSSIP — The Prodigy’s new record sees them return to their old school sound.
The ‘Breathe’ hitmakers will drop their seventh studio album ‘No Tourists’ on November 2, and frontman Liam Howlett – who is joined by bandmates Keith Flint and Maxim in the trio – has teased that they’ve stayed true to their roots in a refreshed way.
He told Billboard: “People will hear the early Prodigy sounds coming back a bit. But also without being retro, it feels fresh.”
The band’s next outing will be released on BMG, but Liam insists they are still very much in control of their destiny.
Speaking about releasing albums on their own label Take Me To The Hospital, he said: “Well, I think I’ve always tried to stay that way.
“I don’t think any record company would put up with me.
“The time it takes me to deliver some records, some careers have started and finished in those periods. “So, we kind of fiercely protect our creative rights. The most important thing to us is to be in control and making sure the live side stays as pure as possible.”
‘No Tourists’ act as the follow up to 2015’s ‘The Day is My Enemy’, and they recently dropped lead single ‘Need Some1’ and the accompany music video, which they shot in Manila, Philippines.
In September, the ‘Firestarter’ hitmakers inked a deal with BMG for their record.
The 47-year-old producer said at the time: “Great guys who totally understand our band … Now let’s make some noise!”
Liam previously admitted the group didn’t intend their 2015 album ‘The Day Is My Enemy’ to sound so “violent”.
He explained: “I didn’t plan this album to sound violent, it’s just the sound that came out of the studio, a kind of build up over the last 4 years. ‘Anger is an energy’, that’s a lyric which always resonated with me.
“The tension is buried deep in the music right from the first drop. It’s all about the sound having that sense of danger. That’s what The Prodigy sound is about.”

Ruth Wilson in talks for Luther spin-off

OHMYGOSSIP — Ruth Wilson is in talks for a ‘Luther’ spin-off.
The 36-year-old actress will reprise her role as evil scientist Alice Morgan in the BBC1 detective drama’s upcoming fifth series, but she’s also revealed she would be interested in a show focused on her own villainous character.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “We’ve talked about it actually. Yes, definitely, if the script is right and the storyline is right.
“It’s funny. People like watching her because she comes in and out. If you watched a whole episode of her, would it be the same? I don’t know.
“I’m interested — if the script is right, yes. You’d have to make the show quite different in style though, and get inside her head.”
Ruth heaped praise on shows like ‘Killing Eve’ and actresses like Glenn Close when it comes to a shift in equality and roles for women in the world of TV.
Speaking about her character Alice, she added: “She’s a scientist, she’s incredibly intelligent. What does she get up to on a daily basis? She’s not like Luther [played by Idris Elba].
“You’d have to find a new pivot, but yes we have talked about it, and she is an amazing character. There’s still so much to dig into.
“She’s delicious. Like Glenn Close playing deliciously awful baddies. I love Glenn Close. She does horrible things but you’ve got to find the humanity in these characters.
“Women are getting more chances, like with Killing Eve. It’s great to see these characters and great for us to get to play them. Baddies are such fun.”
