Peter Andre ‘lucky’ to be with his wife

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre feels “so lucky” to be with his wife Emily.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker loves having his whole family – including kids Princess, 11, and Junior, 13, whom he has with his ex-wife Katie Price – under one roof and says things couldn’t be better than ever for him.
He told The Sun Online: “We’re a good team, she’s really good, she’s always smiling, I’m always smiling … We’re so lucky, I feel so lucky and I find ways to juggle it because you get used to what you do and you take time out to be with your family.”
Pete’s proclamation of happiness follows claims the star is desperate for ex Katie – who has attended rehab at The Priory for PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) – to get better so that she can be a “stable mum” to their kids and her other three children from other past relationships.
A source said: “Pete just wants Katie to be happy and healthy – he wants his kids to have a stable mum. She needs to get help for her problems – that’s all Pete wants for her. Everything in his life is
100 per cent perfect except for this.”
Pete, 45, previously insisted he is trying to “protect” his children and keep them away from “negativity” by moving them into his house.
Asked about Junior and Princess living with him and wife Emily – the mother of his younger children Amelia, four, and 23-month-old Theo – he said: “We’ve had an amazing summer but I’m afraid I can’t really talk about it … I’m dealing with everything that’s going on at the moment and my kids are my priority, but I think it’s very important to deal with these things privately and I’m doing so. Making sure my kids are protected and away from any negativity is my main priority. I just want them to focus on school and weekends and having fun.”

Chizzy Akudolu gets mistaken for Alison Hammond

OHMYGOSSIP — Chizzy Akudolu gets mistaken for Alison Hammond.
The ‘Holby City’ actress says people often get her confused for other stars, including the ‘This Morning’ roving reporter, and she often bumps into ‘Save Me’ actress Nadine Marshall when she is trying out for new shows.
Speaking on ITV daytime show ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (30.10.18), she said: “Pretty much when I started this people said, ‘Oh well, yeah, we know why you’re on it. You’re the new black girl’.
“I was like, ‘No, I’m just a girl.’
“Obviously I have the presenting and I have the acting, so there’s certain actors like Nadine Marshall … who always get all the jobs I go for.
“But on this, people seem to think I’m Alison Hammond now. I get that quite a lot.”
Earlier this month, Chizzy had to pull out of the show due to illness, which led to Kaye Adams having to rush to the studio to fill in at the last minute.
She called in sick because of a stomach bug, meaning the episode opened with an empty chair alongside the line-up of hosts Nadia Sawalha, Carol McGiffin and Jane Moore.
Instead, Kay was called in to fill the seat, and she appeared in a video in which she apologised for having “yesterday’s make-up on”, but was on her way to the ITV talk show on her bike.
Addressing the unfilled spot, Nadia told viewers: “Poor old Chizzy is down with a bug. We called Kaye [Adams] and she’s on her way here on a bike.”
In the video shown to viewers, Kay joked that she looked “like a complete wreck” as she made the unexpected journey to the studio.
She said: “I’ve got yesterday’s make-up on, I’ve been up since half past five, I look like a complete wreck.
“I apologise in advance but I will see you very, very soon.”
Fans cheered and applauded the panellist as she walked in wearing denim jeans and a grey fleece, whilst holding her much-needed cup of coffee.

Malcolm Hebden’s Coronation Street return

OHMYGOSSIP — Patti Clare has hinted Malcolm Hebden will return to ‘Coronation Street’ next year.
The 42-year-old star has sparked speculation that the 78-year-old actor – who took time off from the ITV soap earlier this year to recover from a heart attack – will be returning to the show in 2019 to reprise his role as Norris Cole.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, Patti – who portrays Mary Taylor – said: “Norris is in Peru with Emily at the moment. So she [Mary] speaks to him often on the phone.
“So yes, there’s a faint sort of whisper that he might be back maybe next year.”
Patti also revealed Mary will search for her son Jude Appleton (Paddy Wallace) after he appeared to leave Weatherfield for good via tram, after hitting his mother and attempting to snatch his and wife Angie Appleton’s (Victoria Ekanoye) son George.
She said: “Mary is very tenacious, and the minute Jude leaves the guilt sets in.
“She starts questioning her actions, she starts questioning being so strong with him, and she immediately thinks, ‘I’ve got to find him again.’ And Mary, if she’s one thing, she’s persistent.
“That’s where I think we can end with Mary. She’s going to hunt him down. Maybe, there will be a few curves in the path.”
Paddy added: “I have shot my final scenes. But the tram exit was not my final scenes.”
The 39-year-old star is delighted to have been on the soap for nearly two years after initially just signing up for just four episodes.
She said: “It’s been amazing – I came in for four episodes, it’s just a wonderful place to work.”

Graeme Swann wanted Seann Walsh to slip up

OHMYGOSSIP — Graeme Swann wanted Seann Walsh to “fall over” during the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ dance-off.
The two stars were battling it out to remain on the Latin and ballroom show on Sunday (28.10.18), and the cricketer admitted he was hoping for any advantage he could get to keep himself and professional partner Oti Mabuse in the contest.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’, he said: “To be honest, at that point I’d have taken anything.
“I get on well with Seann, I’m probably his closest friend on the show, but that schadenfreude plays out and you’re hoping he falls over. It’s an awful feeling!”
While comedian Seann and his partner Katya Jones were caught up in a cheating scandal when they were spotted kissing despite both being in relationships, Graeme didn’t have any concerns about the so-called “‘Strictly’ curse” impacting his own life.
He explained: “I think more being away from home because we’ve got three very young kids … so it is hard balancing everything.
“Forever either travelling or training, and so it is hard like that. But [my wife Sarah] is great!”
The former England bowler was saved by all four judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Dame Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli, and Shirley Ballas – and now he is focused on trying to win the Glitterball Trophy.
But he admitted: “I’m not sure if I can. In my head, I’m going to win, I’ve already won it. But then you do have your ups and downs.”
Seann’s departure from the competition comes after he was also in the dance-off after last week’s show, but was saved by the judges, with radio presenter Vick Hope departing the series instead.

Bruno Tonioli lives ‘like a nun’ during Strictly filming

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Tonioli lives “like a nun” for two months when he is judging ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 62-year-old star is so busy when he is working on ‘Strictly’ and the US version that he refrains from going for nights out, preferring to hit the gym.
He told Radio Times magazine: “I don’t go out for two months. I stay home in the evening.
“I go the gym and stay fit. It’s like being a nun.
“By the end I’m exhausted. Never mind Lady Gaga, it’s Bruno Gaga. But I’m very lucky and I will do it for as long as they want me.”
As well as being a high-profile TV judge, the hard-working BBC star recently returned to Radio 2 for a second series of his show ‘Bruno Tonioli at The Opera’ – and says that his love for music and performance stems from his Italian heritage, claiming that a passion for opera is “part of his DNA”.
He said: “I’m from the Emilia Romagna region, where Giuseppe Verdi was born, so it’s something you’re aware of from a young age.
“At school we were taught Va, Pensiero, the very famous aria from the opera ‘Nabucco’.
“It’s part of my DNA, I’m not an expert, I’m a member of the public who loves it.”
Bruno believes opera is “a great art form” that should be accessible to everyone.
He said: “We should not feel intimidated. It’s a great art form that should not be forgotten.
“And in fact in the 19th century operas were very popular and they’d be performed in the street – the equivalent of watching an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical now.”

Hailee Steinfeld happy in love

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailee Steinfeld feels “happy” when her partner is happy.
The 21-year-old singer-and-actress hasn’t confirmed her relationship with Niall Horan – who she has been romantically linked with since February – but she admitted she loves the person she is when she’s in a settled romance.
She said: “When you fall in love, you pick up on the tiniest things about yourself.
“You start doing things for this person and going out of your way to make them happy…
“I am one to spread [out] on the mattress and take up every inch of space. Now I don’t want to do that anymore. I want to make as much room for you as possible.
“When you see them happy, it makes you happier. When you love who you are with that person… there’s nothing that compares.”
The ‘Bumblebee’ star insisted she’s never been interested in wild parties and recalled how uncomfortable she felt at a bash some time ago.
She told the new issue of America’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “That side of it has never been my thing.
“I got completely shut down by everyone and maybe it’s because I didn’t have a red Solo cup in my hands. I realised, ‘I’m not going to stay here and feel uncomfortable just to fit in.’ ”
Hailee started her acting career when she was just 14 years old and though she’s proud of her achievements, the ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress does regret that she’s missed out on some normal teenage experiences.
She said: “I used to go on Facebook and see all my friends dressed up for winter formal or homecoming or prom. I would think, ‘Even if it’s the worst night, I’ll never know what that feels like.’ ”

Duchess of Sussex’s nephew hits out

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duchess of Sussex’s nephew has hit out at the “embarrassment” of having relatives “spew hate” about his aunt.
Tyler Dooley has always “admired” the former actress – who was known as Meghan Markle before her marriage to Prince Harry – and doesn’t think comments from the likes of her half-sister Samantha Markle, who has been one of the ‘Suits’ star’s most vocal critics, should be made public.
He told The Times newspaper: “I’ve always admired her, from when I was a small child, and I’ve always looked up to her. She has always been so pleasant and full of life.
“You know what goes on in the media with members of my family and it’s just terrible. It’s an embarrassment to have family members out there speaking negatively about Meghan and it’s just something that shouldn’t be reported.
“They continue to give them a platform to kind of spew hate, you know. I’m really done seeing that. It’s just negative.
“She has never done anything wrong to anybody and she’s successful, she’s smart, she’s beautiful. There’s nothing not to like.”
The 26-year-old marijuana farmer is estranged from his father, Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. and branded his dad a “vile human being” after he previously wrote to Harry and urged him to call off the wedding, before later backtracking with an apology and congratulating the couple on the duchess’ pregnancy.
He said: “My dad, he’s terrible. He’s just a vile human being. I don’t speak to my father and that’s why I go by [the name of] Dooley.”
But the ‘Royal World’ star is close to his grandfather, Meghan’s father Thomas Markle Sr. – who posed for paparazzi photos weeks before the wedding and ultimately failed to attend due to ill health – and insisted the retired lighting director has always been a “great” father and grandparent.
He said: “I speak to my grandfather almost every day. Of course, he’s had a difficult time. All I can say about my grandfather is that he’s always been great to me. He’s always been great to Meghan. He’s always done everything for his kid that was possible..”

Priyanka Chopra defends Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife Georgina Chapman: It’s not her fault

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra has defended her friend Georgina Chapman after several stars shunned her Marchesa clothing line when her estranged husband Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual harassment.
The 42-year-old designer filed for divorce from the disgraced producer after he was accused last year of sexual misconduct by dozens of women, and despite not being involved in the scandal herself, many stars have chosen to shun her fashion label on the red carpet in the wake of the allegations.
But Priyanka – who has been friends with Georgina for several years – has now defended the designer, saying it “isn’t right” for stars to take out their frustrations on a “self-made woman”, as her husband’s alleged actions aren’t “her fault”.
The ‘Baywatch’ star – who is engaged to Nick Jonas – donned a $5,995 white strapless dress with a feathered skirt from Marchesa’s spring 2018 collection to her bridal shower over the weekend, as a show of support to her friend.
She told Women’s Wear Daily: “Georgina’s a friend of mine, and she has been. And it’s not her fault. And I don’t think it’s right to take it out on a self-made woman what somebody in her life did.
“That’s the wrong attitude. I’ve known her for years, and that was a beautiful gown, and deserved to be worn by a bride-to-be. And it made me feel like a princess. It was the right choice.”
Speculation has since been swirling that the 36-year-old actress could wear another Marchesa gown to her nupitals, which are set to take place at the end of the year.
A source recently said: “The wedding is happening in India in December.”
It was previously revealed Priyanka and Nick, 26, plan to “blend traditions” from their respective cultures on their big day.
An insider said in September: “They really want to blend wedding traditions from both of their cultures that are important to them.
“Priyanka is having a really good time planning the wedding because it’s a mix of Indian and American styles and customs, which she knows so much about.”

Kim Kardashian West ‘praying’ after photographer car crash

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West is “praying” for her close friend and photographer Marcus Hyde after he was involved in a serious car crash.
The talented photographer – who is the personal photographer of the 38-year-old reality star – lost control of his Mercedes as he drove up the Malibu coast on Monday (29.10.18) night, and is said to be in a “critical” condition at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
And on Tuesday (30.10.18), Kim took to Twitter to post a picture message which read: “I’m trying to find the perfect picture but I don’t want to share them. We were saving these for our book. Angels are surrounding you. I’m praying so hard for you. Please be ok. Please come back @marcushyde (sic)”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star wrote alongside the image: “Please pray for my friend @MarcusHyde (sic)”
Marcus’ car is said to have smashed through a fence on the Pacific Coast Highway and crashed into the embankment.
Both the photographer and a female passenger were airlifted to the hospital, and paramedics said Marcus suffered seizures as they pulled him out of the wreck.
An exact update on their condition is unknown, but TMZ recently reported Marcus suffered “critical head injuries.”
Shortly before his crash, the photographer had posted a picture on his Instagram story which featured the words: “Late night cruise tonight. Fast cars only.”
Marcus is one of the Kardashian family’s regular photographer, and often travels with Kim and her husband Kanye West – with whom she has North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, nine months – when they go on vacation or head out on tour.
In recent months, the photographer has also shot stars including Ariana Grande, Donald Glover, and Snoop Dogg.

The 34-year-old star – who plays Fiz Stape on ITV soap ‘Coronation Street’ – has welcomed her second child into the world, a baby girl named Hilda, with her husband Chris Farr.
On Twitter, Jennie – who already has three-year-old son Albert – wrote: “Our newest addition arrived yesterday. Mummy and Daddy very happy. Big brother very proud of his little sister Hilda. We’re all in love (sic)”
And a few famous faces have already taken to the comments to congratulate her on the happy news.
Jane Danson – who stars alongside Jennie as Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap – wrote: “Congratulations to you all . Sending lots of love (sic)”
Whilst Andy Moss – who has appeared in two episodes of ‘Corrie’, but is mostly known for playing Rhys Ashworth in ‘Hollyoaks’ and Paul Cuthbert in ‘Doctors’ – added: “Super cute !!!! Congrats you guys (sic)”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed the soap’s production team had to reverse a car on the cobbles set in order to disguise Jennie’s burgeoning baby bump.
Jennie said: “We started [covering the bump] with a mug, and then a handbag. I kid you not, last week they hid it with a Ford Fiesta.
“They said, ‘Can we just move that car back a bit?’ I said, ‘Is this for my bump?’ They said, ‘Yeah, we can see it a bit, but it’s going to help.’ ”
The actress also teased that Maureen Lipman’s character Evelyn Plummer will be heavily involved with Fiz’s exit storyline as she heads off for maternity leave, but she expects to return to Weatherfield after giving birth to her second child, because she is yet to find out that Fiz is getting bumped off.
She added: “So far, I haven’t read any scripts where I die.”

Demi Lovato to remain in rehab for the rest of the year

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato is reportedly set to stay in rehab for the rest of the year.
The 26-year-old singer has been receiving treatment in rehab since she overdosed in July, and after it was recently revealed by her mother that she has now been sober for 90 days, sources say she’s planning on staying in the treatment centre until at least the start of 2019.
Insiders tell ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that whilst Demi hasn’t been set an exact discharge date, she does plan on remaining in rehab for the remainder of the year.
The source added: “Demi is taking her sobriety extremely serious, and knows she has a long road ahead of her. At the end of the day, Demi is doing this for herself. She has to stay sober for her, but every time she has family or friends visit her it reminds her of all the other important people in her life that she needs to fight for as well.
“Demi is thankful she’s still alive and is doing whatever she can to never get to that point again.”
The news comes after the ‘Sober’ hitmaker’s mother Dianna De La Garza said she is “proud” of her daughter for working on her sobriety.
She said: “She has 90 days and I couldn’t be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease is work. It’s very hard and there are no short cuts.”
Dianna also admitted she is unsure of what caused her daughter to relapse.
She added: “I can’t really say for sure. I really don’t know.”
Meanwhile, Demi’s 16-year-old sister Madison De La Garza also recently spoke of how proud she is of the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer.
She said: “Demi’s doing … she’s doing really well.
“She’s working really hard on her sobriety and we’re all so incredibly proud of her.”

Natalie Portman made friends thanks to Time’s Up

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman says the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements have allowed her to make friends in the movie industry for the first time in 25 years.
The 38-year-old actress claims she’s never had any friends in her industry for the entire two and a half decades of her career, but is now starting to form connections with other women because the recent movements – which came as a result of women coming together to put an end to sexual harassment – has brought people closer together.
She said: “I’ve been working for 25 years – I’ve never had friendships in my industry until now. You’re usually the [only] girl in the movie. [Time’s Up] made us come together. We’re actively gathering. Just the power of us getting to know other women in our own industry and sharing information that can help us be safer, more productive, more successful.”
Although she feels closer to other actresses because of the two movements, the ‘Annihilation’ actress hasn’t had any terrible experiences of her own, and thinks its a “weird, privileged position” to be in.
She added: “I was able somehow to not have an experience like that, so it’s definitely a weird, privileged place to hold. Learning what so many women have been through and were going through right next to me … It was completely shocking to know that they were going through that.”
The ‘Black Swan’ star also spoke about the wider political climate on the whole, and claimed nobody seems to “care about anything” in the world any more.
Speaking to the December 2018 issue of Vanity Fair, she said: “Does anyone care about anything? It’s just constant, you know? Acts of violence are put in the same breath as a pop star’s breakup! Who cares about anything anymore? Our president literally had an affair with a porn star and no one cares.”

Cobie Smulders: I thought I would never have children

OHMYGOSSIP — Cobie Smulders feared she would never have children after her battle with ovarian cancer at the age of 25.
The 36-year-old actress has nine-year-old daughter Shaelyn and a three-year-old son with her husband Tarran Killam, but has said that when was diagnosed with the disease over a decade ago, her biggest fear was the idea that she’d never be able to experience motherhood.
She said: “It was a mess. I think it was messy mostly because I had a great fear of not being able to have kids. I’ve always been very maternal, I’ve always loved children and I’ve always wanted one of my own, and so having that not being option, especially at such a young age – kids were very much not on my mind at 25, but I still wanted them one day – it was really hard and it was a really depressing thing to go through.”
The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star had a “great” oncologist who helped her through the process, but when she was diagnosed in 2007, there weren’t enough resources out there to help.
She added: “I remember doing mad, crazy Google searches on my disease and trying to understand it better, and obviously I was talking to my doctors, but there wasn’t at the time and it was very bleak.”
Thankfully, Cobie’s surgeon was able to save one third of her ovaries for her to have her two children, and she has now been in remission for over a decade.
Cobie kept her battle a secret until a 2015 interview with Women’s Health, and now says she chose to speak up after realising her experience could help other women going through the same struggle.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: “For me at the time, I just wanted to deal with it on my own and with my family. I wasn’t interested in sharing it with anybody. It doesn’t really benefit the world until now, when I can say, ‘this is what I went through and I survived it. These are the things I did and these are the things I learned and these are the things I can show you.’ Before it just felt like something I want to deal with myself.”

Rahul Mandal wins Great British Bake Off

OHMYGOSSIP — Rahul Mandal has won this year’s ‘Great British Bake Off’.
The 30-year-old research scientist – who was born in Kolkata, India, and moved to the UK when he was 23 on a University scholarship – has been crowned the winner of the 2018 series of the Channel 4 baking competition during Tuesday’s (30.10.18) thrilling final.
Rahul beat off stiff competition from Kim-Joy and Ruby Bhogal during the show’s final, which saw the bakers tasked with making two batches of doughnuts, a landscape dessert, and a tricky technical which involved making six pita breads and three dips – using campfires for all the cooking.
The finalists were all praised for their iced doughnuts during the signature challenge, but it was mental health specialist Kim-Joy who shone in the technical – which took the bakers outside for the first time in ‘Bake Off’ history – finishing in first place, with Rahul in second and Ruby in third.
It was then down to the showstopper challenge – which saw the contestants create a landscape out of cake, pastry, and biscuits – which secured the win for Rahul, despite suffering a mishap in which one of his glass storage containers smashed due to the heat in the tent.
Speaking after his win, Rahul said it was “the coolest thing that I have done in my life”, as he praised the show for helping to boost his confidence.
He added: “I hope it helps me try new things and be a bit more adventurous in baking and life itself.”
Judge Prue Leith added: “The amazing thing about Rahul and why I am so proud of him is that he came in unconfident, but he just kept going, and he never reined in his ambition. He always tried to do a bit more than everybody else, and it paid off.”

Lily Aldridge can’t wait to breastfeed

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Aldridge can’t wait to breastfeed her new baby.
The 32-year-old model – who already has a six-year-old daughter Dixie with her Kings of Leon husband Caleb Followill – is currently pregnant with her second child, and has said she feels “very blessed” to be able to breastfeed her new arrival when it comes.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: “I did with Dixie and I just love the experience. [I] feel very blessed I can [breastfeed] because I know it can be different for every woman and that’s okay.”
The beauty didn’t reveal the sex of her second child, but did note that her daughter is “very excited [and] picking out outfits left [and] right” for her impending sibling.
Lily announced the news of her second pregnancy in August this year, in an Instagram post in which she showed off her tiny bump in a bikini and captioned it: “SURPRISE.”
The Victoria’s Secret beauty previously revealed she has a special “bond” with her fellow models Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel, because they all had children around the same time.
She said: “We [Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo and Candice Swanepoel] all had kids at the same time and we have this bond – it’s a really nice community of model moms. I am so proud to be a mom, it’s the greatest achievement in my life without a doubt.”
Lily also said being a parent has made her worry less about her figure and thinks people should be less judgemental.
She added: “It’s been a while now since I had that moment of having to get back in shape [after giving birth], but there should be no judgement, everybody’s journey is different. Of course, as I get older my body is changing, I’m a woman, but I love it. I love working out and I love being healthy but I don’t judge myself so much; I don’t care if I have a six-pack any more.
“I am inspired by all these amazing women who have fuller bodies and don’t care about cellulite. I have cellulite, too, and I have stretch marks. When I was younger I would be like, ‘Oh, my abs need to be firmer’; now I look back and I’m like, ‘You were crazy! Your abs were gorgeous!'”
