Keira Knightley said she is “team ‘Frozen’” as she explained why she banned her daughter from watching Disney princess movies

OHMYGOSSIP — Keira Knightley said she is “team ‘Frozen'” as she explained why she banned her daughter from watching Disney princess movies.
The 33-year-old actress recently revealed she won’t let her three-year-old daughter Edie – whom she has with husband James Righton – see the franchise’s films ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Cinderella’ because of the negative stereotypes toward women.
And now the ‘Love Actually’ star has admitted that she doesn’t have a problem with 2013’s ‘Frozen’ because Elsa voiced her concerns about her sister Anna wanting to marry a man she had just met.
Explaining her reasons on the red carpet at The European Gala of her new film, Disney’s ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’, in London on Thursday (01.11.18), Keira told ‘Good Morning Britain’: “‘Moana is big in our house, ‘Inside Out’ is big in our house, I just wonder what Elsa (‘Frozen’) would say to Ariel (‘The Little Mermaid’) and Cinderella because Elsa has some serious opinions about Anna (her sister in ‘Frozen’) going off with a guy that she’s only just met and saying she would marry him.
“She’s like “absolutely that is not okay” and in fact everyone in ‘Frozen’ is not okay with that.
“What would Elsa say to Ariel, who gives up her voice for a man? A man, by the way, she has only seen dance round a ship and then drown!”
“And it’s 100 per cent amazing of Ariel to save the guy, I’m totally up for that, but what would Elsa make of that?
“I think Elsa would be like: ‘Babe, you’ve got to get to know him better, don’t give up your voice just yet.'”
Keira – who plays The Sugar Plum Fairy in the retelling of E. T. A. Hoffmann’s short story ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’ and Marius Petipa’s ‘The Nutcracker’ – previously said the two fairytales suggest women are nothing without their Prince Charming’s.
She said: “‘Cinderella’, banned because she waits around for a rich guy to rescue her. Don’t. Rescue yourself, obviously. And this is the one that I’m quite annoyed about because I really like the film, but … ‘Little Mermaid’. I mean, the songs are great, but do not give your voice up for a man. Hello!”

Sir Paul McCartney has defended his late wife Linda McCartney’s singing abilities

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney has defended his late wife Linda McCartney’s singing abilities.
The American photographer – who tragically passed away in 1998 aged 56 after a battle with breast cancer – withstood a lot of criticism for her questionable vocals when she was part of her husband’s post-Beatles band Wings, but he has dismissed the backlash.
Macca told The Guardian: “On things like the song ‘I am Your Singer’ – and, well, all of them – I really love Linda’s voice.
“It’s very distinctive and she sings well. I’m sort of listening for it being what the critics said – you know: ‘Oh, she’s not very good.’
“But her tone is great. The decision to have Linda in the band singing was a tough one, because she’s never sung professionally.”
The ‘Hey Jude’ hitmaker – who is married to his third wife Nancy Shevell – admitted that when he formed Wings in 1971, he knew that he would never be able to trump the phenomenal success of the Fab Four.
The legendary rocker – who had four children with his first wife, including fashion designer Stella McCartney – added: “But it was: whatever we do, we’re not going to do what The Beatles did.”
Linda – who was a passionate animal rights activist – once said she was unfazed by the criticism she received over her poor vocals because she initially had no intent of becoming a singer and valued her altruistic qualities over her musical skills.
She explained: “Does it really matter? If I wasn’t married to Paul, it wouldn’t matter. I think I’m the opposite of what most people think – basically a kind person. Some of the criticism I get may be jealousy.”
Indeed, Sir Paul has now added that he had no regrets over Wings, and he’s happy the band existed in the way it did.
He said: “Looking back on it, I’m really glad we did it.”

Catherine Tyldesley insists she will not appear on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – because she’d be too “terrified”

OHMYGOSSIP — Catherine Tyldesley insists she will not appear on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ – because she’d be too “terrified”.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who played Eva Price on the ITV soap from 2011 to 2018 – has been linked to the show this year, but the 35-year-old actress says she would be “pretty terrible” at the infamous Bushtucker Trials, which feature celebrity contestants going up against numerous creepy crawlies.
She wrote on Twitter: “Just to shoot down the rumours… I’m NOT going in the jungle guys. I mean come on?! I’d be TERRIFIED and pretty terrible at those challenges!! Hats off to all those brave enough! (sic)”
Catherine may not have enjoyed the basic Australian jungle camp amenities on the reality show either – if one of her recent tweets is anything to go by.
In September, she was “mortified” when her family, significant other Tom Pitfield and three-year-old son Alfie, suggested they go camping.
Fortunately for the former ‘Lillies’ star, she managed to comprise with the pair and they are now planning to go glamping – a more luxurious form of camping – instead.
She recently tweeted: “My boys want to go camping… obvs I’m mortified. So I’m meeting them half way… recommendations for #Glamping up North please?!?! (sic)”
Should Catherine enter the ‘I’m A Celeb’ jungle she would follow in the footsteps of several ‘Corrie’ stars, including Helen Flanagan (Rosie Webster), whose stint Down Under will go down in show history after she was voted to do numerous Bushtucker Trials, some of which she refused to take part in.
Following her 17-day jungle stint, she said: “When I signed up for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ I didn’t take the trials into consideration because I didn’t think I would do so many.
“I thought I’d maybe do one or two and thought I’d be fine. I thought I would just be in a bikini and make friends, I didn’t think it would be so intense.
“I’m just an emotional person, I don’t see anything wrong with showing my emotions. I found it tough but I enjoyed it at the same time. I absolutely loved being in camp and I loved all my friends.”

Bethenny Frankel has hit back at trolls who criticised her for donning a sexy Victoria’s Secret Angels costume in her 40s

OHMYGOSSIP — Bethenny Frankel has hit back at trolls who criticised her for donning a sexy Victoria’s Secret Angels costume in her 40s.
The 47-year-old reality star had the same idea as the Kardashian/Jenner sisters to dress up in brand’s iconic wings for Halloween (31.10.18), but she was slammed on Instagram by some users who deemed her too old to wear such a risqué costume.
Alongside a series of photos of her in the racy all-white lingerie set and her giant wings, she simply wrote: “Heaven sent.”
In her response to the negative comments, Bethenny also defended the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars – Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner – and anyone who has bashed their bodies.
The ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star also dared to go commando next Halloween.
Hitting back in the comments section, she fumed: “For those haters, I suppose that monetizing reality TV is not the only good idea that the Kardashians and I have shared simultaneously.
“For those who bash theirs or my body, go hate somewhere else.
“We are mothers and daughters and I chose those very polarizing ruffle boy shorts thus opting to not show my vagina this Halloween.
“I’m in my late 40s. This is my God given body with no receipts attached (a breast lift 12 years ago notwithstanding) to it. Perhaps next year I will go pantyless & await more constructive comments.
“To the rest of you, I had the best Halloween ever, trick or treating with my peanut then dancing w my ladies. XO (sic)”
Meanwhile, the reality star has been “going through an emotional storm” following the passing of her on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields.
Bethenny was left heartbroken when her on-off partner – whom she was not in a relationship with at the time – was found dead at his Trump Towers apartment in September at the age of 51.
Bethenny threw herself into her work providing relief for those affected by Hurricane Florence in order to take her mind off the events, and admitted she was conscious that she needed to make sure she isn’t “avoiding the grieving process”.
She said: “The work I am doing for hurricane relief is a good outlet, but I’m trying to not get too immersed and not avoid the grieving process and feeling. I am going through an emotional storm and must go through and not around it.
“People are suffering way more than I am. People have helped me get through my despair with their love and inspiration and now it is my turn.”

Alesha Dixon insists the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ curse is very real and the “sexual chemistry” in rehearsals is real

OHMYGOSSIP — Alesha Dixon insists the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ curse is very real and the “sexual chemistry” in rehearsals “is real”.
The 40-year-old star on the 2007 series of the BBC One ballroom show with her professional partner Matthew Cutler and following comedian Seann Walsh’s kiss with his dance partner Katya Jones on this year’s series, Alesha admits rehearsals are always sexually charged and there’s always a chance of romance.
Appearing on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, she said: “It’s the most amazing show, I still watch it, I’m still a fan. I was a fan before I did the show and I’m a fan now. I was single at the time. I probably tried to snog him [Matthew], knowing me. Thing is, on ‘Strictly’, I was just so focused on doing well that I didn’t have time for the hanky panky and the nonsense that goes on. Do you know what though, the sexual chemistry is real. You’re rubbing up upon them! It is intense so I can see how it goes down that road.”
Alesha had got divorced from her husband MC Harvey in 2006 and was single when she accepted the invitation to go on ‘Strictly’, and she admits she would have had to have a long think about going on the show if she’d been in a relationship at the time.
When quizzed by Jonathan if she ever thought there could have been a romance between her and Matthew, she said: “No, absolutely not. It didn’t even cross my mind. This is the place to dance … Some people have gone on to have nice relationships off the back of the show. Do you know what though, if I was in a relationship at the time at the time when I was asked to do the show, it would have been a thing I’d have to consider. Even for example, I did the NERD video for ‘She Wants To Move’ and I remember when I got the phone call to do that the first thing I said was, ‘I hope they don’t want me to kiss him,’ because I was in a relationship and these things are important but the fact that I was single [on Strictly] and didn’t have to worry about any of that was helpful. I could just focus on that trophy!”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday (03.11.18) at 10:35pm on ITV.

Barbra Streisand “doesn’t enjoy” performing live because of crippling stage fright

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbra Streisand “doesn’t enjoy” performing live because of crippling stage fright.
The ‘Woman in Love’ hitmaker has been on hiatus from touring for the past two years because she struggles with pre-show nerves caused by a fear of not wanting to let her fans down.
During her episode of ‘Carpool Karaoke’, which aired on Thursday (01.11.18), she admitted to comedian James Corden: “I don’t get nervous nervous, but I don’t enjoy it.
“I get scared. I just don’t want to disappoint people.”
Asked how she gets herself ready to sing, she said: “Let go and let god.”
The 76-year-old music legend also revealed that she doesn’t drive often as she once ended up on the wrong side of a highway ramp.
She recalled: “I’ve been driving for a long time, but I haven’t driven recently because my mind is twirling.
“I found myself turning into an up ramp of a highway and the cars were coming down.”
Corden joked back: “I’ve got to be honest, though, if this is how I go out, I’ll take it. It’s a good way to go out.”
In 2016, the ‘A Star Is Born’ actress asked Apple to change how Siri pronounces her last name.
Speaking about contacting the tech giant’s CEO, Tim Cook, she told James: “What’s a better way to change my name than speaking to Apple, Tim Cook and saying, ‘It would be so helpful if Siri said my name right. Is that possible?'”
The Hollywood star also revealed she once gave the late Apple founder Steve Jobs a call when she was having some technical difficulties.
She recalled: “I once called Steve Jobs when I couldn’t figure out something on my computer.”
During their sing-a-long in James’ Range Rover, the pair belted out Barbra’s hits including her new anti-Trump anthem ‘Don’t Lie To Me’, the soundtrack to ‘Funny Girl’, ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’, and the singer’s stunning mashup of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ and Burt Bacharach’s ‘What The World Needs Now’ from her new album, ‘Walls’, which is out now.

Behati Prinsloo says a “smoky eye” for date night is always “sexy”

OHMYGOSSIP — Behati Prinsloo says a “smoky eye” for date night is always “sexy”.
The 30-year-old model has revealed her “simple” go-to look when it comes to date nights with her Maroon 5 musician husband Adam Levine – with whom she has two children, Dusty Rose, two, and seven-month-old Gio Grace – and she always goes for that look because it makes her feel confident.
Speaking to Vogue Australia, Behati said: “The look I like to do for date night is a simple, smoky eye. It just makes it sexy. So I prep my skin with a glowy primer and my foundation to it. I mix it together, it will blend in nicely.
“If you have a concealer that has a stick, I use it for the areas that I target, and you know what, I put a little under my eye to get a night time vibe.
“I like to do my cheeks with bronzer and blend it with a sponge, and use creams instead of powder because it’s a lot easier to control especially if you want to do it quicker.”
The Namibian beauty – who will be walking in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after missing the last two years due to being pregnant – has also revealed the industry insider “tips” that she uses when she’s applying beauty products and has revealed how she gets “sexy Kate Moss” lips.
Behati added: “I use a brown pencil and I love going into the eye on the upper eyelid, your eyelashes look even thicker. I kind of do this thing where I kind of close my eyes, like a trick, because it’s really tough to keep it open, so I’ll just almost close it and then just run it on the inside.
“I love a bronze and I love the highlighter too, I shows my cheekbones, I’ll do a V shape. I lie to use a little bit of blusher before I do my lip.
“One of my favourite [lip] colours is a nude-y, sort of sexy Kate Moss pink. I like to start by lining the lips not too thick ad I kind of dab it so they lines get blurred.
“Curling you lashes is such an important step. A trick I have is I’ll re-curl my lashes after I’ve put on all my mascara so the curl comes back and it looks awesome.”

Harry Styles is busy working on his second solo album

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles is busy working on his second solo album.
The One Direction star’s 2017 self-titled debut – which includes the hit singles ‘Sign Of The Times’ and ‘Kiwi’ – went gold in six countries, including the UK and US.
And as the 24-year-old hunk turns his attention to his follow-up, he admits he had no idea what he was doing the first time round, and wrote a lot of “sh** songs” before arriving at his final track-listing.
Speaking to Timothee Chalamet for i-D magazine, he spilled: “I’m making my second album right now, so I’m going to do that [making the right choices], read a lot and see what happens.”
On finding his feet as a solo artist, he added: “I tried to write as much as possible, with as many different people as possible and try and learn as much as I could.
“I guarantee I wrote a lot of really, really bad sh** before I wrote anything good.”
This time round, the heartthrob doesn’t have the pressure of having to fit in a movie role, like he did with ‘Dunkirk’ last year.
Though he hinted that he’d just have to manage if another job came up whilst he’s writing his new record.
He said: “When I got the role in ‘Dunkirk’, it happened right at the start of my first album, so I had to stop everything for five months.
“But stuff like that always happens when it happens, so … I’m enjoying not knowing to be honest.”
Harry was recently named the fourth richest British celebrity under 30, thanks to his album and role in the World War II thriller, which scored him a whooping £58 million, putting clear water between himself and his 1D bandmates; Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, plus ex-member Zayn Malik.

Eminem has hired out a cinema in Detroit this weekend so fans can watch his movie ‘Bodied’ for free

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem has hired out a cinema in Detroit this weekend so fans can watch his movie ‘Bodied’ for free.
The rapper-and-filmaker is co-executive producer of the satire, helmed by Joseph Kahn, about university student Adam (Calum Worthy), who gets embroiled in tense race relations on campus when he writes a controversial thesis on the rap battle scene.
On Thursday (01.11.18), the 46-year-old star – who starred in the hit 2002 blockbuster as the struggling rapper B-Rabbit in ‘8 Mile’ – announced that he’s putting on two special screenings for those in his hometown in Michigan to catch the flick.
The ‘Lose Yourself’ hitmaker – whose real name is Marshall Mathers III – tweeted alongside a promo for the event: “DETROIT! Come through and get #BODIED! I bought out the theater, so tickets on me for the Friday + Saturday @BodiedMovie 6:40pm screenings at the AMC 30 in Sterling Heights. First come first serve. Hit the link for tickets elsewhere. http://shady.sr/BodiedMovieShowings … (sic)”
Kahn – who is best known for directing music videos – co-wrote ‘Bodied’ with Toronto battle rapper Alex ‘Kid Twist’ Larsen.
Eminem joined the production at the last minute.
Khan explained previously: “I always had it in the back of my mind that he was going to come on board at some point.
“But you don’t want to go to Em and ask for money or an endorsement on something as big as battle rap, because everybody asks him for things.
“So I made the movie, showed it to him, and he loved it. “Then he decided to come on board, and he helped us put the deal together.”
Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg also received a producing credit on the project, which premiered at the Toronto International film festival last September.
The cast also features Charlamagne Tha God, Debra Messing Jackie Long, Shoniqua Shondai and Walter Perez.

Bradley Walsh has landed his own chat show

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Walsh has landed his own chat show.
The ‘Doctor Who’ actor is set to film a pilot of the new programme, ‘It’s Showtime’, on ITV next month, and the show is said to be “pretty similar” to ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ with celebrity guests, live music and studio games.
A source said: “Bradley has well and truly cemented himself as a staple star on ITV. Producers thought that it was about time he got his own chat show.
“It will be pretty similar to ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ with some games and live performances thrown in.”
It’s thought ‘The Chase’ presenter’s new programme could even hit the heights of ‘Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ – which is currently on a break after Ant McPartlin took time out from showbiz commitments following his drink-driving conviction – if the pilot is successful.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “It’s early days but if it goes down well it could be in the running to replace ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ as ITV’s top entertainment show.”
If the pilot proves to be a winner then there are said to be plans to air a full run of Bradley’s chat show next year.
But this could mean he has even more work colleagues who are after ‘Doctor Who’ secrets, as the 58-year-old star – who plays Graham O’Brien in the BBC One sci-fi drama series – recently admitted his ‘The Chase’ co-stars have been trying to get him to reveal show spoilers.
He recently said: “The Chasers have been [asking for information] because they’re mad Whovians. They really are. Especially Anne Hegerty and The Beast.
“I had to hold my nerve. But they’re thrilled for me.”

Michael Kors won’t talk fashion at dinner

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Kors won’t talk fashion at a dinner party.
The 59-year-old designer insists that when he spends time with his fashionable friends he doesn’t suggest talking “about shoes” or clothes and he likes people to put their phones away so the guests can “connect”.
Speaking to InStyle, he said: “Other than taking a picture, put your phone down so that you are able to connect. Even with the most stylish women in the world, I’ve never said, ‘Let’s talk about shoes!'”
Michael created his dream dinner party for the publication and invited a host of A-list guests to his dinner including; Cynthia Erivo, Sutton Foster, Judith Light, Karen Elson, Tiffany Haddish, Savannah Guthrie and Naomi Watts, and he wanted his guests to reflect his taste in clothes.
He said: “When I’m designing a collection, everything I do deals with yin and yang – my clothes are practical yet indulgent – and it’s the same with the people I want to spend time with. They can be super-smart or silly.”
The designer recently expanded his fashion empire and bought Versace for $2.1 billion.
Announcing the purchase, John D. Idol – Michael Kors CEO – said: “With the full resources of our group, we believe that Versace will grow to over $2 billion in revenues.”
Although Michael’s own eponymous label is known for its more affordable prices, the creative genius has made it his ambition to break into the high-end fashion market and last year Michael Kors Holdings purchased luxury footwear brand Jimmy Choo Ltd for $1.35 billion.
After acquiring Jimmy Choo, he said: “We are creating a global luxury fashion group. Our focus is on international fashion luxury that are industry leaders.”

Finn Wolfhard has revealed the younger cast of ‘IT: Chapter Two’ have wrapped filming

OHMYGOSSIP — Finn Wolfhard has revealed the younger cast of ‘IT: Chapter Two’ have wrapped filming.
The 15-year-old actor – who is most famous for his role as Mike Wheeler in ‘Stranger Things’ – starred as Richie Tozier in the 2017 adaptation of the Stephen King horror novel ‘IT’, and as the cast are set to return for next year’s sequel, he has now revealed he has wrapped his scenes.
‘IT: Chapter Two’ is set 27 years after the first instalment and sees grown-up versions of the Loser Club – which featured characters played by the likes of Finn alongside Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wyatt Oleff, and Jack Dylan Grazer – as they face off against Pennywise the Dancing Clown, played by Bill Skarsgård.
The young cast feature in the movie through flashback sequences, which have now all been filmed. From Finn’s post, it’s unclear whether the whole film has wrapped, or if it’s just the young cast.
Posting a picture of all the youngsters together, he wrote: “We wrapped. Come see what we helped do in September. + @chosenjacobs @benjperkins @barbaramus @andy_muschietti and all our crew and cast everywhere (sic)”
‘IT: Chapter Two’ stars James McAvoy as Bill, Bill Hader as Richie, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, James Ransone as Eddie and Andy Bean as Stan, and is set for release in September next year.
Meanwhile, screenwriter Gary Dauberman recently revealed the sequel will bring to life some of the book’s weirder elements, including the Ritual of Chüd, which is described as a battle of wills in which the murderous clown Pennywise and a member of the Losers Club each extend their tongues, overlap them, bite down, and then exchange jokes until one party laughs.
Gary said: “The Ritual of Chüd is challenging, but it’s such an important component to the book that we had to address it. That stuff is difficult to balance, but because [director Andy Muschietti, producer Barbara Muschietti and I] worked with each other before, when I’m writing pages and all that stuff it becomes more of a conversation and less like, ‘Hey, here’s what I did.’ It’s sort of organic; it’s really kind of just chipping away at the stone and trying to find the most focused, accessible way into some of more metaphysical aspects of that book.”

Mike Myers says ‘Austin Powers 4’ is “looking good”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Myers says ‘Austin Powers 4’ is “looking good”.
The 55-year-old actor starred as both the titular comedic parody of suave spy James Bond and his arch-nemesis Dr. Evil in three movies – ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery’ in 1997, ‘Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me’ in 1999, and ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember’ in 2002 – and after 16 years away from the roles, he has now claimed the eagerly awaited fourth instalment could be coming to cinemas soon.
Mike insisted that whilst Dr. Evil will be coming to “the culture” in the near future, the ‘Austin Powers’ movies take “a long time to write”, but said the process was coming along nicely.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Mike said: “Well you’re gonna see Dr. Evil soon, somewhere in the culture. But the movie, you know I’ve had three kids under the age of seven. They take a long time to write, they always have. Jay [Roach]’s been super crazy. He’s doing a fantastic movie right now that he’s working on. But … it’s looking good.”
The news comes after Mike – who also wrote and produced the trilogy – claimed he would love to create a fourth movie in the franchise, which was created as a “tribute” to Myers’ father who passed away in 1991.
He said: “After my dad died in 1991, I was taking stock of his influence on me as a person and his influence on me with comedy in general. So Austin Powers was a tribute to my father, who [introduced me to] James Bond, Peter Sellers, The Beatles, The Goodies, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore.
“I would love to do another, but you just have to see. I was devastated by my father’s death. But to have that turn into something that makes people happy is unbelievably satisfying. It’s that kind of stuff you never get used to or get tired of.”

Sue Perkins was heartbroken seeing her father suffer in his final days

OHMYGOSSIP — Sue Perkins was heartbroken seeing her father suffer in his final days.
The former ‘Great British Bake Off’ presenter sadly lost her dad Bert last year due to a brain tumour, and has opened up about how difficult it was seeing him hallucinating because of the amount of morphine he was on.
Writing in her new book ‘East of Croydon’ in quotes published by the Daily Star, she said: “We are now at the endgame.
“His anxiety is worsening. He is gurning and clawing at the bed sheets. If he were my dog, I would have put him down three days ago. He will live like this for another week. All of us are gathered around his bed.”
To help him relax, Sue did uplifting commentary during England’s football match against Germany.
She explained: “As it happens, England did indeed win, a mere 3-2 against Germany.
“But Dad left this world thinking we’d put 42 goals past our old rivals, while they ended the match with only two players on the pitch.”
The 49-year-old star can still remember Bert’s last moments, as she revealed she was with him when he passed away.
She continued: “I had my head to his heart when he took his last.”
Speaking last year, Sue revealed how her father died six months before she filmed ‘The Ganges with Sue’, and admitted the trip to India gave her time to grieve.
She explained: “My dad died six months beforehand and, because I live in London and it’s so fast-moving, it meant I’d suppressed everything and buried it, so I didn’t have to feel that surge of pain. This trip gave me the space to be truly sad. My dad’s really worth grieving over, so I’m really glad I started that process.”

Isobel Steele is “never really happy” with her ‘Emmerdale’ performances

OHMYGOSSIP — Isobel Steele is “never really happy” with her ‘Emmerdale’ performances.
The 17-year-old actress – who plays Liv Flaherty in the ITV soap – is constantly criticising herself when she sees her scenes back on screen, but she was “proud” of the way she handled a recent alcohol abuse storyline, despite admitting it was “hard” acting drunk.
She said: “I’m never really happy with my performance – I always fault it.
“But I’m quite proud of the alcohol storyline that Liv’s had. It’s hard playing drunk when I’m only 17, but I really wanted to get it right, and make sure that I’m playing it in a believable way.”
Despite her self-criticism, Isobel must be doing something right after she scooped the Best Young Actor prize at the Inside Soap Awards last month, but she doesn’t have any room on her mantlepiece to display her gong.
She said: “I don’t have much room on my mantelpiece – not because it’s full of awards or anything, there’s just loads of random stuff like candles and plants on here – so I might have to think about finding another place for it at home.”
The Dales actress puts part of her success down to her working relationship with Danny Miller, who plays her half-brother Aaron Sugden-Dingle, and she is delighted the character has finally found happiness with Robert Sugden-Dingle (Ryan Hawley) because their disputes were getting “tiresome”.
Speaking about the recent Robron wedding, she added to Inside Soap magazine: “I’m just huge relieved to move on from Robron arguing. That could get a little bit tiresome, because everyone is really rooting for them to be together, and I’m really rooting for them to be together.”
Prior to the nuptials, Isobel teased fans they would be “very pleased” with the outcome.
She said: “There are a few little details in the episode that I think they will really enjoy, with some cute moments that they will pick up on and get into. The big day has been so long-awaited, so I am sure that it isn’t going to disappoint.”

Kelly Brook says none of her engagements have been memorable

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook says none of her engagements have been memorable.
The 38-year-old model has been engaged to Jason Statham, Thom Evans, Billy Zane and David McIntosh but says not one of those guys’ proposals were “big grand gestures of romance”, but if her latest man Jeremy Parisi was to pop the question she has found the perfect spot in Iceland for it to happen.
Speaking in a radio interview on Heart Drivetime with JK and Kelly, she said: “I’ve not really had, I mean this is a bit mean to say but I’m gonna be honest – I haven’t really had any memorable engagements. No like big grand gestures of like of romance or anything. I found this place – I went to Iceland this year. It was one of my favourite trips. And I found this beach.
