John Krasinski getting ready to shoot A Quiet Place sequel

OHMYGOSSIP — John Krasinski is getting close to shooting his sequel to ‘A Quiet Place’.
The 39-year-old actor directed and starred in the original horror movie alongside his wife Emily Blunt and he admits he is well into the writing process for the second film and he feels confident he has a great story to bring back his blind monsters.
Speaking to Variety at the 10th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards, he revealed: “I’m writing it now. I’ve mapped out an idea and hopefully it’s good enough to shoot … Paramount’s been unbelievably supportive and I’m just excited to have a second one and so we’ll see how it goes.”
Krasinski was at the ceremony held at Exchange LA to present a sound editing award to his sound editors on ‘A Quiet Place’ Erik Aadahl and Ethan Van der Ryn and he praised them both for the massive contribution they made to the success of his film.
He said: “Sound was everything to our movie. I couldn’t have made this movie without them. Any sort of attention I get from the movie I owe to them. So I’m happy to be here for them.”
Despite the huge success of ‘A Quiet Place’, Krasinski previously admitted to being very anxious about working with his wife Blunt for the first time.
The American star – who has kids Hazel, four, and Violet, two, with the British actress – said: “We were both really nervous about it for exactly that reason. It can go one of two ways, and one of the ways is horrible.
“And so what I said was, let’s approach it the way we approach our marriage, which is let’s overly communicate about this stuff so that any problems we have remain small rather than huge.”

Idris Elba is doting dad

OHMYGOSSIP — Idris Elba says witnessing his children’s births was the “biggest and best thing” to ever happen to him.
The ‘Mountain Between Us’ star feels so blessed to have his kids – Isan, 16, and Winston, four – and says he is a “super doting, big hugs, kisses” kind of dad.
He told People magazine: “Being witness to the birth of my children is the biggest and best thing ever. I’m super doting, big hugs, kisses, lots of love-yous. I’m sure my daughter’s like, ‘All right Dad, chill out.’ My son is still at that age where he loves a cuddle.”
Meanwhile, Idris previously confessed he gets a “hard time” from his daughter.
He said: “It can be [a struggle]. I love Issy dearly but she’s a teenager and sometimes she gives me a hard time. The problem is that when your daughter gets older you’re no longer a star in their eyes … I’m a very doting father. I don’t always get time to spend that much time with my children because I’m working so much. But when I’m at home I love being with him and he’s a really good boy.”
Idris works hard on his film and music career but he revealed his “perfect day off’ is spent with the kids.
He explained: “I love hanging out with my kids doing something completely unexpected and just having some fun. And then we’ll go home, grab something to eat, we’ll watch a film, my son will fall asleep, my daughter and I stay up and watch another film.
“I love the magic of watching their personalities form uniquely to them. And watching them form on things that you and their mum have taught them and things they remember, that is really truly human magic.”

French Montana wishes he’d been around for Mac Miller

OHMYGOSSIP — French Montana wishes he had been around for Mac Miller more.
The ‘Unforgettable’ hitmaker was devastated to find out his friend had passed away in September at the age of 26 after an accidental overdose and French wishes he could have been more of a “big brother” to him.
Speaking to Raquel Harper for her show ‘Raq Rants’ on BET, he said: “I think Mac Miller was doing the same thing every artist was doing out there. If you see the sort of video me and him did … but that was way before. Sometimes if people don’t have you, [it’s hard to be] grounded and it can go left. I just feel like they just let him get away with doing what he chooses to do. I feel like I have people if I choose to do something like that, like how I was back then, like a big brother … He didn’t have that around him. If I was around him a couple more nights, I would have made him stop but he didn’t have anybody that was doing that.”
French’s comments come just hours after it was revealed Mac’s death had been ruled an accident by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner. The rapper passed away from a mixed drug toxicity of fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol. Though the amount of each substance wasn’t necessarily lethal, it was the combination of drugs that proved fatal.
The coroner’s report also explained how Mac’s assistant had found him unresponsive on his bed in a “praying position”, kneeling forward with his head resting on his knees. The assistant then called 911 and said the ‘Self Care’ singer was already “blue”.

Ariana Grande apologises to ex Ricky Alvarez

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has apologised to her ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez for giving him the “worst” line in ‘thank u, next’.
The 25-year-old singer name-checked her ex-boyfriends – Pete Davidson, Mac Miller, Big Sean and Ricky – on her new song and joked with her former flame about the line she gave him.
In the track, she sings: “Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh.”
And taking to Instagram and responding to Ricky’s post, which was a video of him listening to the song, she wrote: “HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH IM SORRY U GOT THE WORST LINE. It was meant v lovingly (sic).”
Ariana had previously revealed that Ricky, along with Sean and Pete, had been sent the song to listen to before it was released.
She had shared: “They heard it before it came out.”
Although the song title sounds like it could throw some shade in the direction of her exes, the lyrics suggest the singer has learned important lessons from her past relationships.
She sings: “Thought I’d end up with Sean, but it wasn’t a match. Wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh. Even almost got married, and for Pete I’m so thankful. Wish I could say ‘thank you’ to Malcolm, cause he was an angel. One taught me love, one taught me patience, and one taught me pain.”
Ariana also insisted she is going to focus on herself after her most recent break-up.
In the new song, she sings: “I met someone else, we havin’ better discussions. I know they say I move on too fast, but this one gon’ last ’cause her name is Ari, and I’m so good with that.”

Jacqueline Jossa: Dan is ‘reformed man’ since CBB stint

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa says Dan Osborne is a “reformed man” following his ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ stint.
The couple endured a rocky time in their marriage earlier this year, but the former ‘EastEnders’ star admits they are now in the “honeymoon period” of their relationship – five years after they started dating – and he has started doing more tidying around the house.
She said: “We’re really good. It’s crazy – five years in and we’re starting the honeymoon period.
“We’re equally messy, but I tidy up and he doesn’t. Actually, he’s a reformed man since ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
“He obviously went in the ‘CBB’ house thinking, ‘Someone will do everything for me,’ like his mum did and like I do now, but he had to fend for himself.
“Now he’s like, ‘I can do this, let me try.’ It’s very refreshing.”
After getting things back on track, Jacqueline, 26, and Dan, 27 – who have daughters Ella, three, and four-month-old Mia together – are to start doing joint workouts.
She said: “We’re going to start working out together soon.”
The couple could be in for a busy 2019 as the former soap star – who played Albert Square resident Lauren Branning in the BBC One soap – and the ex-‘TOWIE’ star are planning to move house.
Jacqueline added to OK! magazine: “We’re thinking of moving somewhere maybe a tiny bit bigger.
“It’s not for definite yet, though.”
But they are not doing so to make room for another child.
When asked if the pair are planning to add to their brood, Jacqueline added: “Oh, hell no.”
The full interview with Jacqueline appears in the latest issue of OK! magazine.

Michael Urie backs Ugly Betty comeback

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Urie says the cast of ‘Ugly Betty’ “would love to revive” the show.
The 38-year-old actor played Marc St. James, the eccentric personal assistant to Vanessa Williams’ editor-in-chief character, Wilhelmina Slater, and he has urged network ABC to bring back the comedy drama, admitting everyone involved would jump at the chance to make a comeback.
Speaking to Vulture, Urie said: “We all would. We loved each other so much and we loved it so much. We would absolutely do a revival and if you’re listening, ABC, please make it happen. You can make one of the characters a Trump supporter if [you] have to.”
And Michael admitted he and his co-stars, including America Ferrera, who played the title character, are in constant contact.
“We’re in touch all the time. [There] was just a text chain yesterday with America [Ferrera] and everybody, with this baby dressed up like Ugly Betty in the Guadalajara poncho.”
Vanessa herself confirmed she’d be up for a return to the show.
The ‘Save The Best for Last’ singer-turned-actress said: “Sure! Let’s see if it happens, but absolutely.”
And Becki Newton would love to play Mode receptionist Amanda Tanen again.
Asked if she would be interested in a revival, she said: “Yes, period! Amanda is not doing anything different. Amanda is doing the exact same thing and I think that’s why I enjoy playing her so much. She felt like she was wildly unpredictable.
“But I feel like, from an audience’s point of view, we can plan on what Amanda would do and say. I don’t know, I feel like she’s still following everyone around and still at Mode magazine waiting for everyone to come back.”

Hoda Kotb: Adoption restored my faith in god

OHMYGOSSIP — Hoda Kotb says the arrival of her adopted daughter reaffirmed her belief in god.
The ‘Today’ show co-host – whose Muslim parents moved to America from Egypt – gave a home to Haley Joy, now 21 months old, in February 2017 just a few days after she was born on Valentine’s Day.
Hoda decided to adopt after treatment for breast cancer 10 years earlier left her unable to conceive a baby and although her faith wavered as she face numerous trials in her personal life – including the end of her two-year marriage to tennis coach Burzis Kanga in 2008 – her daughter restored that.
In an interview with Arianna Huffington on the Thrive Global Podcast, she said: “We were just brought up to believe in God. We were all about that, and I feel like when you have a relationship with God, and I feel like I’ve had endless, countless, abundant conversations about it. Sometimes you think, can he hear me? Does he hear me? Am I just talking to myself? Is it for real?
“But, I think when Haley arrived, I didn’t have any doubt in that belief, when Haley arrived it was personified. Literally, when I watch her now, I just feel like she’s proof of everything. Like, everything. Yeah. She’s the best.
“At the time, I was going through a separation that would lead to a divorce. It was like, horrible things were happening at the same time, and I kept thinking this is an avalanche of pain. How do people, how does anyone deal with this?”
Before becoming a mother to Haley, Hoda had resigned herself to never being a parent and had started to investigate different careers away from television which could fulfill her craving to nurture young people.
The 54-year-old presenter – who is in a long-term relationship with Joel Schiffman – said: “I talked to myself and I said, ‘You have so many blessings in your life, here’s something you don’t get. You don’t get children. It’s not the end of the world. You have great nieces.’ I always wanted to teach little kids. As soon as I’m done with this job at the ‘Today’ show, I’m going to teach first and second graders. I said I’m going to fill it. I wanted to start a summer camp for kids. I had a million kid-related dreams, so I said, ‘I will be able to fulfill that. I just can’t have my own.’ ”

Lost George A. Romero film found

OHMYGOSSIP — A long lost movie by the late George A. Romero has been discovered and a campaign is underway to restore the missing masterpiece.
The screenwriter-and-director – who passed away in July at the age of 77 – created some of the most revered horror films of all time starting with ‘Night of the Living Dead’ in 1968 but now a little known movie he released in 1973 called ‘The Amusement Park’ has been found.
Author Daniel Kraus discovered the missing movie – which is not listed on Romero’s IMDB page amongst his credits – and after watching what he describes as Romero’s “most overtly horrifying film” he has started a funding page in conjunction with the George A. Romero Foundation to raise enough money to restore it for a release.
In a series of Twitter posts which began with Kraus sitting down to view the movie, he wrote: “I’m about to watch George A. Romero’s virtually unseen 1973 movie THE AMUSEMENT PARK (shot between Season of the Witch & The Crazies). Been trying to find this for 20 years … OK, this movie is a REVELATION.
“With the exception of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD – maybe – THE AMUSEMENT PARK is Romero’s most overtly horrifying film. Hugely upsetting in form & function.
“Where can you see this savage masterwork? You can’t. But I’m dedicating myself to changing that. Can you help? Yes, probably. Give me some time to figure out what’s what. This is truly one of those magical (cursed?) objects that I cannot believe has fallen through the cinematic cracks. We’ll drag it back. I mean, THE AMUSEMENT PARK doesn’t even show up on Romero’s @IMDb page! This thing is long-long-long-lost. What does that tell me? It’s dangerous & uncomfortable.
“Everyone’s excited! That’s good. This is Romero at the height of his full-throttle, machine-gun-edit, CRAZIES-era confidence. It’s a sun-soaked nightmare: bright, loud, demented, disorienting. (It is *not*, as some sources report, a documentary.)
“But I repeat: there is *no* way to see this right now. That said, rest assured people are working on fixing that. It will take a little time. Please be patient. For right now, there *is* something you can do. @theGARFofficial is accepting donations toward the film’s restoration. (sic)”
Since the funding page was set up the foundation has revealed that the money has been pouring in from horror aficionados desperate to view the movie.
Kraus tweeted: “A big day for Romero’s lost 1973 film THE AMUSEMENT PARK! I’ve heard from @theGARFofficial that restoration donations are pouring in!! (sic)”
Before Kraus’ reveal most fans of Romero’s work had not even heard of the ‘The Amusement Park, which was prevented from being released by the producers who were said to have been too disturbed by the filmmaker’s fantasy documentary about the way society treats the elderly.
Recalling what the scholar Tony Williams said about the movie, Kraus tweeted: “Tony Williams, who saw the film 30 years ago, wrote ‘The film is far too powerful for American society … It must remain under lock & key never seeing the light of day.’
“It was never shown publicly. The people who funded it wouldn’t allow it. And no wonder. It’s hellish. In Romero’s long career of criticizing American institutions, never was he so merciless.”
‘Trollhunters’ writer Kraus is also currently working on completing Romero’s unfinished novel ‘The Living Dead’.

Rob Kardashian asks to reduce child support

OHMYGOSSIP — Rob Kardashian wants to lower his childcare payments to Blac Chyna.
According to court documents, the ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star – who pays $20,000 per month to his former partner for their two-year-old daughter Dream Renée – has requested that his payment is lowered as he “can no longer afford these orders”.
He has also asked for payments to be made to him instead as Chyna is a millionaire now, stating that she is a “model and entrepreneur” and that “she has appeared in the press and on social media to discuss both cases at every opportunity”, The Blast reports.
Rob also spoke about his desire to stay away from the spotlight by shunning his family’s E! reality show.
In a declaration, he shared: “I have not participated in the filming of any episodes since this summer when [Chyna] filed a request for a restraining order against me. Her request was widely publicised and I was scrutinized by the media. It has been an extraordinarily difficult time for me emotionally and I have no desire to continue participating in the reality show. I would like to maintain my privacy, try to recover from the emotional damage of the past several months, and explore other business ventures.”
And Rob is trying to put all his “focus” on his daughter Dream.
A source said: “He needs to get his eating in check [but] he’s been more active. Everyone hopes this time he can turn himself around … He’s been doing better and has been spending a lot more time around his family, which is good for him. There is a lot of sympathy for Rob – he fell hard for Chyna. He’s trying to focus on Dream and being a good dad to her. Dream is the sweetest little girl and loves Rob.”

Giovanni Pernice takes Shirley Ballas swipe

OHMYGOSSIP — Giovanni Pernice thinks Shirley Ballas should’ve worded her criticism of Faye Tozer’s dancing skills differently on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 28-year-old pro dancer has responded after the ‘Strictly’ head judge said she wanted to see a “change of dynamics” in the Steps singer’s dancing last weekend following the pair’s Jive routine.
Appearing on ‘Strictly’ spin-off ‘It Takes Two’ alongside Faye, Giovanni was asked if he “understood” why Shirley wanted their routines to be “more dynamic”.
He replied: “I do understand English, so yes I understand what she said.
“The thing is, I accept what she said because she is a brilliant dancer and a brilliant teacher.
“She is a Latin Queen. So we just accept everything that she said.
“I think there are other ways to say the comments.
“But you know, we are going to fly to Blackpool next week. We are there. We’re gonna be there fighting for our place.”
Despite Shirley’s criticism, Faye, 42 and Giovanni’s Jive on Saturday (10.11.18) received nine points from notoriously harsh judge Craig Revel Horwood and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli.
Following Giovanni’s comments, show host Zoe Ball swiftly moved on, saying: “But you are amazing, the two of you, you are phenomenal.”
The ‘Strictly’ stars are heading up to Blackpool this weekend to perform at the seaside resort’s Tower Ballroom.
Giovanni – who is current rehearsing his upcoming dance routine with the ‘Tragedy’ hitmaker – added: “This is the most beautiful dance I have ever done on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.”

Danny John-Jules skipped Strictly spin-off show following exit

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny John-Jules skipped the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ spin-off show after being eliminated from the competition.
The 58-year-old actor failed to appear on BBC Two’s ‘It Takes Two’ for his exit interview on Monday night (12.11.18) after he was voted off the dancing reality show on Sunday night (11.11.18), leaving his pro partner Amy Dowden to appear on the show without him.
The programme’s presenter, Zoe Ball, said she was “disappointed” that Danny had not attended, but Amy admitted she was “proud” of the ‘Death in Paradise’ star for his time in the competition.
Speaking on the programme, she said: “I’m so proud of Danny. He is such a talented performer.
“Danny, you belong there and I hope to see you on the stage performing very soon.”
Earlier in the day, the ‘Red Dwarf’ star took to social media to tweet a thank you message to Amy – after losing out in a dance-off against Graeme Swann and Oti Mabuse.
He wrote: “I should have expressed my gratitude more often. You truly inspired me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the knowledge I have taken away with me.”
Danny’s tweet comes after 27-year-old Amy told him to be “proud” of his ‘Strictly’ routines after he scored the first 10 out of 10 earlier in the series.
She tweeted: “you should be so proud of the performances you produced! The nation got to see the talented performing Danny again! Your beautiful family I know are bursting with pride! The first 10 of the series and my first 10 for our jive is a moment I’ll never forget! (sic)”

Noel Edmonds ‘to appear as 11th I’m A Celebrity campmate’

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Edmonds is set to appear as the 11th campmate on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The ‘Deal or No Deal’ host is said to be receiving a fee of more than £500,000 to take part in the ITV series – which will kick off on Sunday (18.11.18) – and the 69-year-old TV presenter is expected to be one of two late entries into the Australian jungle.
An ITV source told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “Producers are talking about it as one of their best signings ever.
“Bosses think he’ll have loads of stories to tell and will be a great talker around the campfire.
“They’ve been desperately trying to keep him under wraps as he’s the cherry on the top of the series for them.”
Bookmakers Ladbrokes and Coral have added further speculation to news Noel will be joining up with the likes of former ‘Torchwood’ actor John Barrowman, football manager Harry Redknapp, and ‘Coronation Street’ star Sair Khan in the jungle, by pricing him up as a 10/1 outsider to win the show.
Former ‘EastEnders’ star Rita Simons, ex-‘X Factor’ wannabe Fleur East, The Vamps singer James McVey, TV presenter Nick Knowles, ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer, ‘The Chase’ quiz queen Anne Hegerty, and ‘Inbetweeners’ actress Emily Atack will appear on the show’s launch on Sunday.
Noel is expected to head Down Under with another campmate shortly afterwards.
The new ‘I’m A Celebrity’ series kicks off at 9pm on Sunday on ITV hosted by Declan Donnelly and new presenter Holly Willoughby.
She has replaced regular co-host Ant McPartlin, who has taken some time out of the spotlight after spending time in rehab and being convinced of drink-driving earlier this year.

Matt Bellamy explains Harry Potter references on Muse LP

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Bellamy referenced ‘Harry Potter’ on Muse’s new album to “troll” his bandmates.
The ‘Propaganda’ musician has revealed the song includes a lyric – “You ate my soul just like a death eater” – as a nod to the wizard saga, but admitted bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard aren’t fans of the franchise.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “Hardly anyone has noticed. Dom who hates that universe, doesn’t know! I love it. I treated it as a way of trolling Chris and Dom a bit.”
The line references the villainous and loyal followers of evil wizard Lord Voldemort – played by Ralph Fiennes on the big screen – and Matt has explained despite new album ‘Simulation Theory’ paying tribute to the 80s and sci-fi, he wanted something for the younger generation to relate to.
He said: “It was to recognise the generation who grew up with ‘Harry Potter’, and the fantastic and magical things that have been a bit lost these last few years.
“When we were kids in the 80s science fiction and fantasy was well represented. So to incorporate references to ‘Harry Potter’ seemed coherent with the themes of the album.”
Meanwhile, Chris has acknowledged the importance of nostalgia, and how important films can be in shaping people’s childhoods and influences, including music.
He added: “Maybe it’s because we’re entering our forties that we are looking back a bit.
“Watching your children grow up makes you look at your own childhood a bit and what interested us then. My oldest memories are from films of that era.”
