Lili Reinhart: My career made me self-conscious

OHMYGOSSIP — Lili Reinhart says being an actress made her “hyper-aware” of her body.
The 22-year-old actress has spoken openly about her fluctuating figure in the past, and after dealing with false rumours that she was pregnant earlier this year, she has slammed the entertainment industry for “praising people” on the size of their waists, as it has made her obsess over her body in a way she never did before she found fame.
She said: “For the past year … I’ve been quietly trying to navigate my fluctuating weight and I’ve faced criticism in the past for talking about my body image. People told me that I didn’t have the right to talk about being self-conscious about my body because I was skinny. And I understand how it seems inappropriate for someone who is average size to talk about problems with weight gain. But, my point is, I didn’t think anything was wrong with my body until I was in an industry that rewards and praises people for having a smaller waist than I will ever have.
“I became hyper-aware of my changing body. I could see the difference in my shape in photos and wondered if anyone else was noticing. I felt this strange, constant struggle of having to live up to the expectation of the appearance that I had already established to the world.”
The ‘Riverdale’ star then hit out at beauty standards, claiming that she wasn’t “born” with her insecurities, and learned them after being “conditioned to feel ashamed” about her body.
She added: “We aren’t born with these insecurities. We are told to be insecure about certain things. We are conditioned to feel ashamed or embarrassed about certain parts of ourselves.”
Lili doesn’t have “the perfect solution” to the problem of fat shaming and beauty standards, but has said it’s important for each person to find the strength to push away the negativity.
Speaking at the Glamour Women of the Year summit over the weekend, Lili said: “I don’t have the perfect solution. But I have discovered some things that help me have those better days. I started to purge myself of content that made me feel less beautiful on a daily basis. I unfollowed the accounts on Instagram that made me question the shape and curves of my own body. I also started living a more active lifestyle because I wanted to feel healthy on the inside, which required some thoughtful effort on my part. But I wanted to know that I was healthy and strong without having identical measurements to those other women that I’m seeing.
“So embracing your natural beauty, does not exclude anyone. There is no fine print. You can be naturally beautiful with acne or scars, cellulite or curves. So let’s celebrate each other, and ourselves, as we are, as we will be, and as we were meant to be. Unique. Imperfect. Beautiful. And so incredibly powerful.”

Jada Pinkett Smith: I was racially harassed by a police officer

OHMYGOSSIP — Jada Pinkett Smith has claimed she was racially harassed by a police officer when she was younger.
The 47-year-old actress has alleged that whilst she was staying in Virginia Beach several years ago, she was the victim of a racial attack when “two white officers” told her to get her “n**** b***h a**” out of the street she was on.
Speaking on her Facebook Watch show ‘Red Table Talk’ – in which she has previously discussed heavy topics including marriage and religion – the star said: “I remember going to Virginia Beach. Remember when they had the riots? I was there by myself – terrified – trying to get back to my hotel.
“I will never forget, there were these two white officers. I was like, ‘I’m just trying to get down the street so I can get to my hotel’ and they said, ‘You better get your n**** b***h a** off this street right now.'”
The ‘Girls Trip’ star was speaking to her mother Adrienne Banfield-Jones on the show, who also opened up about her own experiences with racism growing up.
She said: “I remember growing up and not being able to go to downtown and try on hats and different places that we weren’t allowed to go in in our own neighbourhood. We couldn’t go to the bowling alley and to get ice cream we couldn’t sit at the counter.
“We couldn’t go to Tiffany and try on clothes. One of my bosses said to me, ‘Yeah, now you can go and try them on and steal them.’
“It still bites. I just have a lot of, probably, anger.”
Jada and her mother’s comments on racism come after she previously tackled the subject of Scientology on her talk show with Leah Remini.
Leah sparked a feud with Jada last September when she claimed the ‘Gotham’ actresses followed the controversial religion, but reached out to her to settle their differences on the show.
Jada said: “It was really beautiful and she reached out to me. She was much more bigger than me in that way. It was nice to reconnect and release ourselves from all that nonsense that doesn’t matter…
“What was really emotional about it was realising that there was two broken little girls in us that were abandoned by their fathers and turned into fighters who clashed.”
The ‘Bad Moms’ star rubbished claims she was a Scientologist on Twitter last year after Leah alleged she had seen her at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre in Los Angeles on many occasions.

John Mayer: Drake helped me quit drinking

OHMYGOSSIP — John Mayer stopped drinking after Drake’s 30th birthday party – because he realised he was wasting his potential.
The 41-year-old musician has claimed he decided to clean up his act and quit drinking after the ‘Hotline Bling’ rapper’s milestone birthday two years ago, because following a string of hangovers, he realised he didn’t want to squander any of his career potential.
Speaking to Complex magazine, he said: “I have the most amazing last-night-of-my-life-drinking story. It was Drake’s 30th birthday party, and I made quite a fool of myself. It took me weeks to stop doing this every morning I woke up. And then I had a conversation with myself. I remember where I was. I was in my sixth day of the hangover. That’s how big the hangover was.
“I looked out the window and I went, ‘OK, John, what percentage of your potential would you like to have? Because if you say you’d like 60, and you’d like to spend the other 40 having fun, that’s fine. But what percentage of what is available to you would you like to make happen? There’s no wrong answer. What is it?’ I went, ‘100.’”
The ‘Your Body Is A Wonderland’ hitmaker’s decision to put down the bottle comes as he recently insisted he hasn’t “been a d**k in many years”.
John – who has been known for his bad boy reputation and often rude persona – said: “Some people still say, ‘That guy’s a d**k.’ And I go, ‘Well, any of that data you’re working off of is really old.’ I mean, I can tell you for sure that I haven’t been a d**k in many years. That’s a really outdated take.”
The reputation of the ‘New Light’ singer largely came from comments he made about his sex life – including calling ex Jessica Simpson “sexual napalm” – and he now admits his ruder tendencies were brought on by his belief that he was untouchable.
He added: “I probably had a run in my life where I wasn’t aware that there was anything I couldn’t have. And it made a monster out of me. And there’s something very freeing about you can’t. And that’s about the right age in your life where you go, ‘Yeah, you can’t.'”

Kendall Jenner’s home ‘still in danger’ after wildfires

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner’s home is “still in danger” after the recent wildfires.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has revealed her and her family are “not out of the woods yet” after the devastation of the Woolsey Fire, which has displaced more than 265,000 people since it started burning in Los Angeles and the Ventura Counties.
Speaking to Extra’s Mario Lopez, she said: “Everyone is okay, thankfully. But, I mean our homes are still in danger a bit. The good thing is everyone’s safe, but we’re just praying every day. We’re not out of the woods yet. It’s really scary.”
Earlier this week, the Kardashians dedicated their People’s Choice Award to the first responders who continue to work “tirelessly” during the devastating Californian wildfire.
Kim Kardashian West spoke on stage as she was joined by family members – Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian – at the ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, on Sunday night (11.11.18).
During the acceptance speech, Kim, 38, said: “To all of the firefighters, the law enforcement and the first responders” who have worked tirelessly. We really, truly appreciate what you have done for all of us. So please let’s continue to pray for everyone’s safety. Thank you. It’s been a really rough week in our home in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and our neighbours in Thousand Oaks and Malibu.”
The reality star also used her time on stage to call for action following the mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, which recently claimed 12 lives.
She added: “Our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and those who have lost their lives and homes, as well as the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning.
“Action is necessary. So anything we can do to help – as simple as donating to the many organisations that are collecting supplies, no form of help is too small. Our country is stronger when we come together and we cannot face devastation alone. We must continue to reach out and help each other in these trying times.”

Chris Pratt’s low key double date

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt and his girlfriend Katherine Schwarzenegger double dated with her famous father over the weekend.
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star was seen enjoying breakfast with his other half as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger and his girlfriend Heather Milligan in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The foursome dined at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, before Chris headed to church with Katherine.
A source told E! News: “Everything seems to click with them and works. They have the same values, lifestyle and priorities. She has always been good with children, but she really shines and has stepped in to this role perfectly. She knows her place with him and is there to have fun and support him. From the moment they met, it just seemed different for Katherine. This is definitely the most serious relationship she has had. They haven’t been together that long but everyone is rooting for an engagement to happen soon.”
Meanwhile, Chris and Katherine are said to be “inseparable”.
An insider shared: “The moment Chris and Katherine started dating, everything fell into place and they seemed inseparable. They just love each other’s company and have so much in common. They spend a great deal of time together. Chris and Katherine have the full support of her family and Maria [Shriver] feels they are a match made in heaven.”
And it was previously claimed that the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star and the author are such a “good fit”, that their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they got engaged in the near future.
An insider said: “They’re such a great fit together. It’s only been a few months but Chris and Katherine are both very serious about the relationship and their friends wouldn’t be surprised if they got engaged sooner rather than later. Katherine has spent time with Chris’ family and they all love her too. She fits in really well with them and vice versa.”

Ireland Baldwin accused of looting during wildfire

OHMYGOSSIP — Ireland Baldwin has claimed she was accused of “looting” as she tried to return to her Malibu home during the California wildfires.
The 23-year-model – the daughter of Alec Baldwin and ex-wife Kim Basinger – took to Twitter to vent her frustrations as she was allegedly told she could not enter her home, due to not having the correct address on her form of identification.
Ireland also claimed that she was “threatened” with arrest if she “kept giving” the police officer “trouble”.
In a series of tweets, she fumed: “Yesterday I spent all day long trying to get back to my place in Malibu to gather a couple of my things before the winds were expected to pick back up.
“An officer at a back way entrance to one of the main canyons that take you over to Malibu stopped us and refused to let us in because I don’t have my Malibu address on my ID.
“Not only was he a d**k, but he had 0 compassion and he literally accused us of being looters and threatened us that we were going to be arrested if we kept giving him trouble. (sic)”
Ireland added that whilst she knows he was just trying to “do his job”, the officer could have shown more “compassion” considering the circumstances.
She added: “I understand that he was doing his job, but in times like this when people are losing loved ones and losing their homes, the least you can do is show compassion and be as kind as you can even if you can’t help them. (sic)”
The ‘Grudge Match’ actress also revealed her mother Kim and her partner lost their home during the devastating blaze, which has destroyed the properties of the likes of Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and Neil Young, but confirmed they were “safe”.
She wrote: “So many friends and friends and family of friends are losing everything they own in these fires. My mom and her partner lost their Malibu home in the #Woolseyfire and thankfully, they are both safe. (sic)”

Gabrielle Union: I stink but I’m happy

OHMYGOSSIP — Gabrielle Union hasn’t “showered or slept” in days after welcoming her baby girl into the world.
The 46-year-old actress and her husband Dwayne Wade revealed they had undergone a secret surrogacy as they announced the arrival of their “miracle baby” daughter on November 7.
And on Sunday (11.11.18), Gabrielle shared with her 11.1 million followers just how she was settling into motherhood, admitting she was both “stinky” and “in heaven”.
Alongside a picture of her cradling the tot, the new mom wrote on her Instagram Story: “So perhaps I haven’t showered or brushed my teeth or slept.
“But I’m in heaven. I stink but I’m happy. (sic)”
Gabrielle revealed her daughter had been born one day earlier in a note that read: “A LOVELY DAY. We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our little miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl! (sic)”
The post also included some lyrics to the Bill Withers song ‘Lovely Day’, as well as three pictures of the happy couple with their new bundle of joy.
Basketball star Dwayne – who already has Zaire, 16, Zion, 11, and Xavier, four, from previous relationships – posted the same message in a tweet on his own account, alongside the same pictures.
The couple’s baby joy came after Gabrielle revealed she suffers from adenomyosis – a form of endometriosis which only occurs in the uterus – which has left her infertile and caused her to experience several miscarriages.
She said: “Towards the end of my fertility journey I finally got some answers. Everyone said ‘You’re a career woman, you’ve prioritised your career, you waited too long and now you’re just too old to have a kid – and that’s on you for wanting a career.’ The reality is I actually have adenomyosis.”
Adenomyosis causes the uterus to become enlarged, and sufferers may also be plagued with heavy and painful periods and chronic pelvic pain.
The only cure for the condition is to undergo a hysterectomy, in which the uterus is removed.
The ‘Being Mary Jane’ star added: “The gag is I had it in my early 20s. Instead of diagnosing me, [doctors] were like ‘Oh you have periods that last 9 or 10 days and you’re bleeding through overnight pads … perhaps there’s something more there.’ Every doctor I saw was like let me put you on birth control.
“The pill can mask all kinds of things. It is amazing at preventing pregnancy; not so great with addressing adenomyosis.”

A Star Is Born to get director’s cut?

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘A Star Is Born’ looks set to land a director’s cut.
The blockbuster musical movie’s Director of Photography, Matthew Libatique, has revealed Bradley Cooper is working on a longer version of the movie as there were many scenes that weren’t used because they weren’t vital to portraying the love story of the filmmaker’s alter-ego Jackson Maine and Ally (Lady Gaga).
The cinematographer explained: “I think they’re actually doing a new cut, a director’s cut, and putting some stuff back in.
“I think there’s always the concern about length, but, for him, I think it was mostly the concern about, ‘When am I stepping outside the forward narrative of this love story, and when am I stepping outside the idea that you have one character ascending, another descending.’
“I think that’s all he was doing when doing different cuts, is trying to find that soul.”
Libatique also revealed Cooper was working “Intensely” trying to get the cut just right for the big screen and was limited due to the fact they had to fit in whole songs.
And he teased there is “more than” a movie’s worth of filming leftover for the extended cut.
He added to The Film Stage: “I mean, they were different cuts. For me, I see an early cut, then see its evolution. Bradley was working on it — intensely working on it — to find a flow. It’s a rather long film because the music is in it. Things had to go so the music could take place; it couldn’t all exist at the same time.
“We shot, probably, more movie than is in the movie because of that.
“I think, editorially, he really started to shave it down to the bare essence of what the love story was.
“And that’s really all he was doing — making sure that was his priority — and you have to make some really tough decisions. Some performances.”
The film has grossed over $323 million worldwide at the Box Office.

cc: @QuavoStuntin @OffsetYRN @1youngtakeoff MAMA (sic)”
The trio brought with them stacks of dollar notes, which they count out with the British comedian, and they also reveal whether or not they originated viral dance move, The Dab, in which a person drops the head and creates an angled arm, whilst raising the opposite arm out straight in parallel.
The American stars follow in the footsteps of the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand, Michael Buble, Ed Sheeran and Adele in joining Corden for a sing-a-long for the fun segment on his hit show.

Craig Revel Horwood tips Stacey Dooley to win Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig Revel Horwood has tipped Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton to win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 53-year-old judge believes the couple are in with a chance of lifting the Glitter Ball Trophy as the 31-year-old documentary maker is “popular” with viewers at home, and proven herself to be the dancer with the potential to go all the way on the BBC One ballroom and Latin contest.
He said: “I can see her winning.
“She has a lot of the audience on her side, she’s very popular and so far she’s getting through this with flying colours.”
Craig – who is joined by head huge Shirley Ballas, Dame Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli on the panel – has also been blown away by former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts, but because she has topped the leader board most weeks, he feels this may “discourage” people from voting for her.
He told RadioTimes magazine: “She’s one of the best dancers I think we’ve ever seen on the show.
“She’s at the top of the leader board all the time! That might discourage people from voting for her.”
The ‘Nativity Rocks!’ star also gave his opinion on ‘Strictly’ having their first influencer, Joe Sugg, compete on the show.
He said: “I thought it was brilliant of the BBC to ask an internet star like Joe to take part. We’d never done that before.
“I didn’t know who he was to begin with – but it’s brought a whole new audience to Strictly, which is just wonderful.”
And Craig admitted that he felt the cheating scandal surrounding former contestants Seann Walsh and Katya Jones – who were both in relationships when they were caught snogging on a night out – made the comedian work “harder” to try and stay on the programme.
He spilled: “[He] came back after that week with flying colours, and it probably helped push him a bit harder.
“Like any professional, you have to leave whatever’s going on behind that door and just perform.”
The sharp-tongued TV personality previously admitted he thinks the ‘Strictly’ curse is a “blessing”, as it has produced some “gorgeous” pairings.
He said: “In a sensitive person it would affect them and I know it affected Seann and Katya a lot, that whole story, because it went global.
“For what reason, I have no clue because there have been a lot of pairings that have been absolutely gorgeous.
“You know there’s been Kristina Rihanoff and Ben Cohen, they’ve had a baby, Jimmy Mistry, Flavia Cacace, fantastic. So the curse, which I call the blessing, I think you just have to deal with it, get on with it.”

Amber Heard felt superhuman

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Heard felt “pretty superhuman” on the set of ‘Aquaman’.
The 32-year-old actress really enjoyed the preparation for her role as Mera in the upcoming movie, even if it meant training six days a week.
She said: “After four and a half months of training six days a week, you feel pretty superhuman.”
Whilst her co-star Jason Momoa added to Entertainment Tonight: “Your body is constantly working. You’re doing judo, jiu-jitsu, fight choreography.”
Meanwhile, Amber previously revealed she was delighted with her first encounter with her character, who joins Aquaman (Momoa) to help keep the peace between the seven seas and the surface world.
She recalled: “I remember the first scene I read in this comic and Mera and Aquaman… had just saved a town from some aquatic disaster, hurricane, or something of that effect, and as the townspeople or the civilians are picking up pieces of their life they look and they say, ‘That’s Aquaman!’ and they look to Mera and they’re like, ‘Who are you? Is that Aquawoman?’ And she stops what she’s doing and she says, ‘I’m not Aquawoman. I have my own name. My name is Mera.’ and I was like, ‘I can get behind that woman!'”
And when Amber was offered the role, she didn’t expect a superhero movie would resonate with her “core principles” until the role of a “badass warrior queen” was pitched to her.
She explained: “They had me at sword and a crown. Zack Snyder and I spoke on the phone and I didn’t really think a comic book [film] would be something that would be appropriate for me. I didn’t really … knowing nothing about the comic book world, knowing nothing about the universe, I didn’t really have any reason to feel like that would resonate with my sensibilities or my core principles. I had a limited experience, limited exposure to women in that world and then … he explained this badass, kickass warrior queen to me and I thought, again, sword and a crown? OK!”

Michael B Jordan heartbroken over Stan Lee’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael B. Jordan has been left “heartbroken” by Stan Lee’s death.
The ‘Black Panther’ actor paid tribute to the comic book legend – who died aged 95 on Monday (12.11.18) – and praised him for “changing the face of entertainment” with his Marvel creations.
He said: “[I’m] heartbroken, honestly.
“[He was] 95 years old, he lived a full life. He made an impact on so many different people, literally changed the face of entertainment in so many different ways.”
Stan famously had a cameo in almost every Marvel movie made and Michael will always feel “honoured” to have been in ‘Black Panther’, one of the final films he was involved in.
He added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “He showed people how to dream how to escape the problems that they have and their current situations.
“[He was] so creative, so fun, It’s incredible. I feel honoured to be apart of one of the last films he got a chance to be a part of.
“For him to kind of see that come full circle was awesome and something I’ll cherish with me for the rest of my life. Rest in peace, Stan Lee. We lost a really really good one.”
Michael’s tribute follows on from a number already paid by stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in his own line of movies, as well as in the ‘Avengers’ ensemble movies, wrote on Twitter: “There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!! (sic)”
And ‘Deadpool’ star Ryan Reynolds simply posted: “Damn… RIP Stan. Thanks for everything. (sic)”

John Legend pays tribute to Chrissy Teigen

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend grew emotional as he paid tribute to his wife Chrissy Teigen at Glamour’s Women of the Year awards on Monday (12.11.18).
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker described himself as the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star’s “trophy husband” and hailed his spouse as the “heart and soul” of their family, which includes daughter Luna, two, and five-month-old Miles.
He said: “I have a career in the music business, but we all know who the star of the family is. She’s the heart and soul of the family too.
“I am very much in love with this woman. I mean, obviously, I guess. She is my wife. And she is the mother of our daughter Luna and our son Miles.
“But I’m not the only one who loves her. Many millions of people who aren’t married or related to her love her too.
“Everywhere I go, I meet people, fans, who used to ask me for an autograph or tell me how much they love my music. Now, the number one comment I get from people who USED to be MY fans is how much they LOVE Chrissy. She gets bigger cheers than I do at my own concerts. They love her!”
The 39-year-old singer joked about his own career when he hailed Chrissy as an inspiration to many.
He continued: “She inspires so many people and so many women. I mean, she’s the kind of woman you write songs about. Huge, international, award-winning songs…but this is about Chrissy. Have you heard songs written for Chrissy before? One of them went to number one on the Billboard charts.”
John went on to credit social media for the rise in 32-year-old Chrissy’s popularity because it’s allowed her to be herself.
He explained: “Sometimes social media feels like it’s going to be the death of civilisation. But it hasn’t been a complete fail. Hear me out, here…
“I think the world may have missed out on Chrissy’s full awesomeness if it weren’t for social media. She would have never fully shone the way she does if she were filtered by publicists and handlers…
“Chrissy’s biggest impact may be the way she proves that just by being the person you are, you can make a difference. Being who you are, unapologetically, you can make a difference…”
John ended on a touching note, reassuring his wife she was “more than worthy” of being honoured.
He said: “In her Glamour profile, she talked about a time when we were at this big event and she was crying in a dressing room because she felt so overwhelmed by the illustrious company she was in. We were celebrating the TIME 100 and she felt like she didn’t belong. How could she be worthy of the likes of Oprah, Christine Lagarde, Michelle Obama?
“Well, I’m here to say that you belong here. I think it has become very clear to Glamour magazine and to many millions of people around the world that you are more than worthy of this honour tonight.
“I am amazed by the woman that you’ve become. And I’m truly glad that the rest of the world has finally found out about it, too.
“Ladies and gentleman the incredible Chrissy Teigen, everybody.”
As she stepped out on stage at Spring Studios in New York City, Chrissy admitted she was blown away by the ‘Ordinary People’ singer’s emotional speech.
She quipped: “John didn’t even cry when I was giving birth.”
Others honoured at the Glamour Women of the Year awards included Viola Davis, Janelle Monáe, Senator Kamala Harris, park ranger Betty Reid Soskin, Saudi Arabian women’s rights activist Manal al-Sharif, the ‘March for Our Lives’ female leaders and the gymnasts who survived the abuse of Team USA doctor Larry Nassar.

Michael J. Fox stopped drinking after being scared by wife’s resignation

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael J. Fox reveals how his wife’s resignation to his problems made him stop drinking.
The ‘Back To The Future’ star turned to alcohol when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the 1990s, but Tracy Pollan’s lack of anger made him realise things needed to change.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, he said: “One time I woke up with a hangover and I expected Tracy to be made at me.
“And [she] wasn’t angry. She was just bored and that to me was more frightening than everything.”
The 57-year-old actor – who married his wife in 1988 – was diagnosed in 1992 after showing symptoms of the disease the previous year, and went public with his health issues in 1998.
Now, father-of-four Michael has opened up about how he has managed to battle on his down days as he faces the disease.
He revealed: “I’m really into acceptance, and acceptance means you resign to something. But you have to recognise it is what it is.
“Deal with it and move on. And when you do that, you can keep it in check — it is what it is. Ninety-nine percent of the rest of my life is not Parkinson’s, it’s other stuff and that keeps me busy and I don’t feel sorry for myself.”
Meanwhile, Michael previously admitted he always sees the funny side of the tremors he experiences.
He explained: “The truth is that on most days, there comes a point where I literally can’t stop laughing at my own symptoms.
“Just the other morning I come into the kitchen. I pour a cup – a little trouble there. Then I put both hands around the cup. She’s watching. ‘Can I get that for you, dear?’ ‘Nah, I got it!’
“Then I begin this trek across the kitchen. It starts off bad. Only gets worse. Hot java’s sloshing onto my hands, onto the floor.”

Lisa Riley returning to Emmerdale

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Riley will return to ‘Emmerdale’ this Christmas.
The 42-year-old actress is to reprise her role as Mandy Dingle on the ITV soap after 17 years away from the show – during which she has appeared in ‘Fat Friends’, ‘Waterloo Road’ and ‘Three Girls’, among other programmes – and she is surprise to be heading back to the Dales after so long away.
She said: “I could not be happier to be returning in the New Year to Emmerdale. It’s something I never thought would happen after 17 years and I am so interested to see what trouble Mandy is capable of causing.
“But mostly being back with all my old friends, it’s like I’ve never been away.”
Mandy will return with a secret as part of a self-contained storyline for Lisa, but she will still have plenty of the “joie de vivre” she had during her last stint in the Dales.
‘Emmerdale’ producer Kate Brooks added: “Iconic Mandy Dingle returns to the village carrying a secret that turns lives upside down.
“She’s a character bursting with fun who certainly ruffles a few feathers during her short stint back in the village, and she clearly hasn’t lost any of the joie de vivre that made Mandy so popular and enjoyable to watch.
“We’re delighted to welcome Lisa back to Emmerdale.”
This news comes after Lisa admitted earlier this year she would consider returning to the soap when she is 60.
She said: “Maybe it is my pension fund, maybe there will be one day when I am 60 and it’s my pension.”
Lisa initially portrayed Mandy from 1995 to 2001, during which the character had feelings for vet Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) but was paid by his mother to marry her cousin Butch Dingle (Paul Loughran).
However, she couldn’t ignore her feelings for Paddy and later started an affair with him which led the Dingles disowning her only to let her back into their lives when Paddy delivered their daughter Belle Dingle – who is now played by Eden Taylor-Draper – on Christmas Day in 1998 in a pig sty.
Mandy later married Paddy but started another affair with a college lecturer before coming clean to poor Paddy, who ended their marriage.
She initially departed the village for London to live with her pal Kelly Windsor (Adele Silva) before returning to win Paddy back only to find him happy with Emily Dingle (Kate McGregor).
He has long since moved on from Mandy but recently suffered fresh heartache when he and his significant other Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) lost their newborn baby Grace, shortly after she was born.
