Kendall Jenner's eyebrows prove she is 'a quick thinker'

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner’s eyebrows mean she is “a quick thinker”, according to face reader Jean Harner.
The 20-year-old model’s “diagonal slant” to her facial feature is said to give an insight into her personality and according to the expert it means the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star makes rapid decisions, which she may regret.
Speaking on Kendall’s younger sister Kylie’s website thekyliejenner.com, Jean said: “See how Kendall’s eyebrows go up in a diagonal slant? This means she’s a quick thinker. If she has to make a decision, she doesn’t need much time to think it over! One downside of this is that she may sometimes leap into action without thinking things through entirely and then later wish she had.”
Whilst Kylie’s eyebrows demonstrate she is always “correct” with her decision-making.
Jean explained: “Kylie’s beautiful full eyebrows are not as long as some of the others [sisters]. This can be a sign that she tends to be pretty sure she’s correct in her outlook and her decisions, even if other people disagree with her. These eyebrows show she’s got a clarity that many people can lack.”
The Kylie Cosmetics founder – who is the youngest of the Kardashian/ Jenner brood – has admitted she is “obsessed” with eyebrows and after noticing a difference in her and her family’s facial features she wanted to understand the meaning behind the bushy brows and requested the help of Jean.
Kylie explained: “You guys know how obsessed I am with eyebrows. And when I was looking at a photo of me and my sisters recently, I couldn’t believe how different our brows are – like, no one has the same shape! So my team reached out to Jean Harner, a face reader, to break down what our eyebrows say about each of our personalities.”
Although all five sisters, including Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, have a “desire to succeed”.
Jean added: “These five beautiful women’s eyebrows all show enormous strength in drive, decisiveness, a logical approach to life, a desire to succeed and a good head for business!”

Charlotte Tilbury is inspired by 'uptown women'

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Tilbury is inspired by “uptown women”.
The British make-up artist – who launched her eponymous cosmetics brand in 2013, which has seen her name some of the products after celebrities – has admitted she is largely influenced by New York and her female muses, including Olivia Palermo, Gwyneth Paltrow and the catwalk icon Naomi Campbell.
The flame-haired beauty told PEOPLE: “I am very inspired by New York and uptown women who are also muses of mine, like Olivia Palermo, Gwyneth Paltrow and Naomi Campbell.”
And Charlotte – who has sons Flynn and valentine from two separate marriages – has revealed people were surprised to see lip liners in her collection, because they were considered too “80s”.
She explained: “When I first started [doing make-up], people were like, ‘Lip liners? Oh my god, that’s so ’80s.'”
But the entrepreneur has revealed those who have followed her style advice and now wear lip liner “never” go back and consider it their must-have beauty product.
She added: “So many women who discover this lip liner never go back. It cheats your natural lip line and mimics the colour of your lips.”
And Charlotte – who assisted fellow make-up artist Mary Greenwell when she was 11 years old – believes women should perfect their eye make-up and their lips before adding blusher, so not to go “overboard” with the contouring and colouring.
She said: “Once you have your eye and lip on, you can see how much colour you actually need on your face. So, you won’t go overboard with the blush and end up looking like Aunt Sally!”
Meanwhile, Charlotte has admitted she has “always” worn make-up to bed, because it makes her feel “sexy”.
Speaking previously about her beauty hacks, she said: “It’s true. I always have a bedroom eye. I clean my skin, put my Magic Night Rescue Cream on, my Magic Eye Rescue, and then Wonderglow – it softens everything. But I take off all my eye makeup, and then I reapply it. I put on my eyeliner in Audrey, and then I put a little bit of mascara on my top lashes, and then that’s it. I always say it’s my bedroom eye because it just makes me feel sexy.
“Always. Always. Always. Forever.”

Alicia Keys applies cucumber pulp 'all over her face' to make her skin 'pop'

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Keys applies cucumber pulp “all over her face”, according to her make-up artist Dotti.
The ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ hitmaker’s long-term beauty adviser has revealed if there is time to prepare Alicia’s flawless skin prior to a star studded event she will apply the paste to her face to get the blood flowing and bring more “life” to her complexion.
Speaking about the skincare treatment the powerhouse endures, Dotti said: “I shift everything because that keeps it moving. That’s super important to me because I need to see where the skin is going, and to breathe into its direction.
“Right now, we’re doing a lot of ice work to tighten skin, bring the blood to the surface. To basically give it the pop that you need.
“I stick a jade roller in ice, so it’s basically freezing when I roll it over her skin. I really, really work into all those areas where I want blood and water and energy brought to the surface. It brings her skin to life, it practically makes her skin say, ‘Hi. I love you.'”
“On some days, I’ll look at her skin and say, ‘You need cucumber today,’ so I’ll grate a full cucumber. If we’ve got time, I’ll put the pulp all over her face until it draws the heat out of the skin and bring the blood to the top. That’s what most of the cooling agents do. Tomorrow is cucumber day.”
And Dotti has revealed she will only apply the natural product in certain areas of the face.
She explained: “No higher than her brow bone and no lower than her under-eye bone, not going near sensitive parts of the eye.”
Although the 35-year-old singer is embracing a make-up free aesthetic, Dotti believes Alicia will soon want to experiment with cosmetic products again.
She told W Magazine: “I was just speaking with her earlier and she said, ‘There’s going to be a time when I say, ‘You know what? I want a red lip.” This isn’t really a big statement. She’s just loving where she is.”

Bobbi Brown wants a world with 'no contouring'

OHMYGOSSIP — Bobbi Brown wants a world with “no contouring” beauty trends.
The 59-year-old make-up artist – who founded her eponymous luxury cosmetics brand in 1991, which was bought by Estée Lauder five years later – has admitted she hopes beauty trends return back to a “simpler” style where the contouring craze, which uses shadowing and highlighting to define the facial features, is long gone.
Speaking about her hopes for forthcoming beauty fads, the brunette beauty said: “With make-up, I hope we’re going to a place that is simpler and is more real. I can only hope it’s a place with no contouring.”
And the beauty mogul believes she didn’t “invent” something new, but simply discovered a “new way” to apply make-up.
Speaking about her success, she modestly said: “I didn’t invent anything; make-up has been around for forever.
“I just created a new way to wear it on your skin, how to apply it, how it feels and how it smells.”
Bobbi has admitted she first started her business by selling lipsticks to her friends, although she would advise budding businessmen not to invest “a lot” of your own money.
She explained: “My husband and I started the company from my house with two investors. I sold the lipsticks to friends and would put them in manila envelopes with the ingredients written on a piece of paper and we’d mail them out.
“Remember to have a life. And, make sure you don’t invest a lot of your own money. Start slowly and do things organically. Most importantly though, do something that’s not out there already; don’t just recreate what someone else has done.”
Meanwhile, Bobbi has revealed she has desperately wanted to name her Retouching Wand after a Disney Princess.
Speaking about the product, she said: “I wanted to call the new Retouching Wands, Cinderella Wands. I come up with the sponge concept in a meeting. The product development team showed me this horrible concealer formula and I played around with it and used a super-sheer layer across my face with sponge.”
And she doesn’t think every woman is suited to wearing rouge lipstick.
She told the Telegraph.co.uk: “I always say you’re either a red lipstick person or you’re not. Make-up should make you feel confidence. For some women concealer works, for others it’s a red lipstick. I feel my best with concealer and eyeliner. I don’t think women should wear red lipstick if it doesn’t suit them to try and feel confident.”

Christian Louboutin 'never' had any 'business goals'

OHMYGOSSIP — Christian Louboutin has “never” had any “business goals”.
The 52-year-old fashion designer – who launched his eponymous label in 1991, which is known for its pillar-box red lacquer on the soles of his shoes – has admitted he didn’t intend to start a highly recognised fashion brand when he was younger, and although he never had plans to run his own business and expand it, he has since developed his company to include a beauty capsule as well as a menswear and womenswear footwear range.
Speaking about his brand, he said: “I’ve never had business goals. I don’t understand how people do that.”
And the French creative mastermind has revealed some people thought he was “crazy” launching a business when he did.
He explained: “Most people would say it was crazy to start a business then, but I don’t think there is a correct moment anyway.”
Although Christian has admitted he never had set targets to reach for his business, he has revealed his ultimate aim was to do something he would be “proud” of.
He explained: “Legitimacy is a big thing for me. My goal is to do something I’m proud of. As long as you drive something to the end and do it your way, you’ll always be proud. If it’s successful, even better.”
Christian has admitted he epitomises the type of customer he wants to shop in his worldwide stores.
He said: “Having a store myself, it’s one of my missions to be the customer I would like: the person who is excited, happy and takes everything.”
Meanwhile, the fashion mogul is set to launch three perfumes called Trouble in Heaven, Tornade Blonde and Bikini Questa Sera to his fashion house, and he has revealed he wanted the bottle to be designed by an architect.
Speaking about his latest beauty venture to the Wall Street Journal Online, he said: “I thought the bottle should be designed by an architect.
“I went to see him [late Oscar Niemeyer] about the project, and he was so sweet. He was already 100 years old. ‘I’m completely busy,’ he said. ‘But I would love to do it if you can wait.’ I told him, ‘Of course I’ll wait,’ and then he died.”
Christian has since recruited the help of Thomas Heatherwick, who has described the design as a deconstructed “pastry”.
Thomas said: “I had never worked on designing a bottle, and didn’t expect to, and wasn’t even sure if I was interested at first, but I enjoyed bouncing ideas around with Christian.
“Finally he asked if I’d consider designing the bottle … [the result resembles] a pastry where they put a slit in the middle and twist it inside out on itself.”

Beyoncé always wants her outfits to look 'perfect'

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyoncé always wants her outfits to look “perfect”, according to fashion designer Ashton Michael.
The ‘Lemonade’ hitmaker – who recruited the LA based designer to design a number of show stopping ensembles for Tidal X: 1020 concert -is “so professional” and always has “a very clear idea” of what styles suit her and what she wants to wear.
Speaking to PEOPLE about the 35-year-old powerhouse, the creative mastermind said: “”She’s so professional and she’s so wonderful, that there’s no secret.
“You’ve just got to do a great job because she’s a professional and she wants things done right and she wants things done perfect … something that she would like [but] making sure that she still felt like Beyoncé in [his] clothes. That was really important.
“[Beyoncé] still has an opinion that’s actually educated [when it comes to fashion].
“She’s not having someone tell her what’s good. She has still has a very clear idea of what she wants, which is wonderful.”
And the 34 year old has admitted it felt “surreal” when he first got the call to design for the vocalist, and was even more stunned when she complemented his creations.
He explained: “Getting that call was so surreal.
“She said that I made pink look tough.”
Meanwhile, Ashton – who has worked with a large celebrity clientele including Cher, Jennifer Lopez and Usher – has admitted he will still “tweak” some outfits, even if his client wants to wear a “specific thing”.
He said: “There’s certain situations where they’ll come to me and say, ‘I don’t know what I ‘m doing, let’s make some cool stuff.’ And there’s certain situations where it’s like, ‘I want this specific thing,’ and I’ll do it, but I’ll say, ‘Maybe we should tweak some things’ because I feel like it’s out of my caliber of the brand.”

Victoria Beckham has an 'entire dining-room table' full of make-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham had an “entire dining-room table” full of make-up.
The 42-year-old fashion designer – who has recently partnered with the beauty brand Estée Lauder to launch her VB x Estée Lauder collection – has admitted she has always boasted an extensive cosmetics range, including discontinued cosmetic products, which has led her to create her latest beauty capsule.
Speaking about her passion, the brunette beauty said: “I am someone who really enjoys make-up; I’ve worn make-up or a long, long time and collected it for many years, At my first meeting with Estée Lauder, at my house in LA, I had an entire dining-room table full of products I’ve collected over the years – colours that I have made up, things that have been discontinued – and I went through everything.
“I told them about things I liked, things I didn’t like, and what I couldn’t find in my make-up bag, because I truly believe there is a lot of product that every woman needs that actually isn’t available, whether it’s the right pigments in an eyeshadow or the perfect nude lip.
“I think Estée Lauder were really quite surprised at how much I knew about the subject.”
And the Spice Girls band member has revealed her fascination with beauty stemmed from a young age when she would collect empty perfume bottles and display them in her room.
The fashion mogul – who has sons Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11, and five-year-old daughter Harper with her husband David Beckham – told Net-A-Porter’s ‘The Edit’: “When I was younger, my mum’s friend Frances used to wear very expensive fragrances, and when she was finished with the bottles, she’d give them to me. They had nothing in them, but I used to put them all out on my dressing table because I loved the way they looked.
“I’ve always loved beauty products; whether it’s rummaging around in my mum’s make-up bag, or going to The Body Shop with my sister on a Saturday afternoon.
“I’m very girly.”

Jean Paul Gaultier 'punished' for first sketches

OHMYGOSSIP — Jean Paul Gaultier was “punished” for his first fashion designs.
The 64-year-old designer “fell in love” with theatre when he was just nine years old, but the sketches his passion inspired were deemed “not acceptable” and he got into trouble at school.
He recalled: “When I was a little boy, I watched a movie about wartime. It was a French one and the embodiment of this special feeling. This was the first time I fell in love: I fell in love with theatre. And the result was, I drew women wearing feather boas and fishnet stockings at the age of nine.
“It was not acceptable at that time. In fact, my teacher caught me and punished me for that. She glued the drawing on my back and made me walk through the class with it.”
However, though he had few friends at school, the public shaming had the opposite effect as it drew other boys to Jean Paul because they wanted him to draw “pretty girls” for them.
He added to Refinery 29: “The other guys ignored me at that time — I was not one of them. I failed at soccer and all the other sports [laughs]. Nevertheless, the punishment was helpful. The kids stopped laughing at me. Instead, they smiled at me and asked me to draw for them. All of a sudden, I had their respect, just because I was good at drawing pretty girls.”
The legendary designer adores his work and has never been motivated by money – something he thinks has changed about the fashion industry in the last decade.
He said: “In fact, I did my first collection 40 years ago. I regarded fashion as a film, as an elegant movement image. It was all about the person wearing my designs. No matter how he or she looked, I wanted to show the inner beauty of the person.
“I had no money, but I realised my idea anyway.
“I’m blessed, I know. I do this not because of the money, but for the thrill.
“Ten years ago, the industry changed: Today, the money is more important, as well as advertising, and egos. [But] it’s important to be honest with yourself and to stay motivated. Don’t do things just because of the money.”

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress – who has two-year-old James and 15-month-old Leo Thames with husband Kyle Newman – resorted to the disposable clothes to clean her own face when she ran out of make-up remover and has now discovered they are the best thing for her skin.
Asked her favourite beauty products, she said: “Neat Cheeks–they’re Stevia-based wipes to clean your kid’s face (or whatever) and I started using them because I ran out of make-up wipes.
“When it comes to taking off my makeup, they’ve changed my life. I’ll use those and then I’ll use WEI Beauty’s cleansing products on top of it.”
The 37-year-old beauty prefers to use organic products because she is mindful that was goes on her skin will be absorbed into her body.
She told E! Online: “I am a thorough researcher of anything organic in regards to beauty products. It’s something I think is incredibly essential and, you know, you’re always looking for the one that really works.
“It truly is a new concept in terms of innovation and when I discovered WEI Beauty, the whole idea of farm-to-face was a real game-changer for me.
“There’s just something about the line that’s clean and beautiful and nourishing and elegant–from the packaging to what it actually does for your skin.
“I have really dry skin, and there are a lot of things on the market you can put on your skin, but they’re all going directly into your body, so it feels really good knowing that I’m putting things into my body that are actually really good for me.
“Also, I’ve noticed my skin’s been glowing since I started using their products.”
For as long as she can remember, Jaime has always favoured a red lip.
She said: “Mine has always been red. Ever since I was a kid, it’s always been red. I also feel like it’s a very dramatic, classic, beautiful colour. When people think about my classic look, I think they see me with clean skin, lashes and a red lip.”

Margot Robbie never forgets to remove her makeup

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie never forgets to take her makeup off when “drunk”.
The 26-year-old actress is “anal-retentive” about having clean skin and makes sure she removes every last remnant of foundation and mascara after a night out no matter how much booze she’s had.
She said: “I always start by cleansing in the shower – I don’t do too many steps because I genuinely don’t have that much time, but I’m anal-retentive about having really clean skin … No matter how drunk I am I absolutely will not go to bed with my make-up on, I will not.”
The ‘Suicide Squad’ star admitted she’d prefer to wear no makeup at all and finds it’s “annoying” that she needs to be camera-ready when travelling because paparazzi follow her around in the airport.
She shared: “You have to wear make-up when you’re going through the airport annoyingly, because there are often paparazzi there. But then when I’m on the plane I’m pedantic about getting the make-up off, so I use wipes – usually Johnson & Johnson – and then Peter Thomas Roth Complexion Correction Pads to tone. I can’t live without them.
“I have a beauty bag for the plane packed all the time, so I can just grab it. The products are all the right size so they can’t take them off me. I have that system down.”
Margot revealed her beauty secrets and favourite products during an interview with Vogue.co.uk and said her daytime look includes a simple “cream blush” and keeping her eyebrows neat and tidy.
The Australian screen beauty explained: “I’ll always brush my brows, sometimes I use pencil too. Then it’s just mascara and a bit of cream blush. For a little lip colour I’ll just use the tinted lip balms by Burt’s Bees.”

Solange Knowles can wear any outfit 'with ease'

OHMYGOSSIP — Solange Knowles can wear any ensemble “with ease”, according to fashion designer James Flemons.
The Los-Angeles based creative mastermind, who teamed up with the 30-year-old singer songwriter to create 30 customised outfits for the star’s ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ music video, has admitted he “admires” Solange’s style and believes she can get away wearing anything she wants.
Speaking to PAPER about his creations for the brunette beauty, James – who has his own clothing line PHLEMUNS – said: “I have admired her style for years so it is a huge compliment that she thinks highly of my line. I think she has this way of wearing elegant or forward clothing so casually and with ease. For me that’s basically the whole concept behind how I design. I like to take the concept of something formal and make it easy and approachable to wear casually, along with this high-low idea of how I dress personally.”
James has revealed he was first approached to design the costumes for Solange’s video by her stylist, and although he was “unsure” whether he could create three pieces each for 10 of Solange’s dancer, as well as a showstopping garment for Rihanna, he knew it would be a mistake to pass up an opportunity of working with the ‘Losing You’ hitmaker.
Speaking about his recent venture, he said: “It was pretty quick and kind of out of nowhere. Shiona [Turini], Solange’s stylist, emailed me in early August about Solange being interested in getting some custom pieces made for videos from the upcoming album. Initially it was three pieces each for ten people total.
“Shiona sent me photos of two bralettes, a pair of shorts, and a necktie from my spring 2016 collection that Solange was interested in customizing
“I was unsure of taking it on at first because it was so last minute for me to hire a sewer to get the requested 30 pieces done in time for the fitting, and at the same time I was in the midst of assisting costume designer Mindy LeBrock in creating pieces for Rihanna’s MTV Vanguard performance.
“[But] I knew in my gut it was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss out on, so I decided to bite the bullet, lose some sleep, and sew them all myself with a little help from my best friend and creative partner in crime Franc Fernandez.
“I created the red bralette and shorts that Solange and four of the dancers had on in the middle of the video.”

Milla Jovovich: 'The worst thing in the world is wearing make-up on the plane'

OHMYGOSSIP — Milla Jovovich believes the “worst thing in the world” is wearing make-up on the plane.
The 40-year-old model- who was the face of beauty brand Revlon’s campaigns – has admitted she cannot wear any beauty products when she is flying because she believes her skin “changes” during a flight and thinks cosmetics don’t “sit right” on her face.
Speaking about her beauty tips when travelling, the brunette beauty said: “The worst thing in the world to me is wearing make-up on the plane. I feel like your skin like changes on the flight and make-up just doesn’t sit right, so I just bring sunglasses.”
And the catwalk icon – who has starred in campaigns for luxury fashion houses including Versace, Calvin Klein and Christian Dior – has revealed she “always” moisturises her skin whilst travelling and wears a Dauphin eye mask, which is like “jelly”, around her eyes.
She added: “I always like to be really moisturized. I have this amazing mask, it’s almost like the Dauphin eye mask. It’s jelly that you put around your eyes and it’s really moisturizing. I get two big bottles of water and drink a lot of water on the flight … I like to keep completely, super hydrated.”
However, the ‘Zoolander’ actress has revealed she is trying to find a new style to suit her prior to turning 41 in December this year.
Speaking about her fashion sense to W magazine, she said: “I’ve been missing wearing hippie clothes, but I feel like my hair right now is not like a hippie-friendly cut, so unfortunately I haven’t been rocking any of my Free People clothes because I don’t have the hair for it. But I like myself with short hair and boys suits, baggy jeans and button-up shirts, so that’s where I’ve been for the last year. I like to mix a bit of conservative, rock-and-roll feeling. That’s always something I’ve gone back to, over the years.
“I’m about to have another birthday in December, I’m going to be 41, so I’ve been sort of feeling a certain style lately, so that’s kind of been my thing.”

Speaking previously, she said: “It’s a dream! It’s so weird. I want to focus more on managing people’s careers than just [running] a modelling agency.
“I don’t really want pretty people, I want people that want to sing and dance and act — I want to create stars.”
And Kate now feels more in control of her future career.
She explained: “I didn’t realise how much it was going to change the way I feel because it is like taking responsibility for my own [business], whatever I do, instead of being the model who’s being sent on jobs to turn up and just be whatever they want you to be.”
