Queen freaked out party guests with meat covered man

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen once hired a man who “moved under meat”.
The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ hitmakers have been at the heart of various rumours about their wild parties in their hey day, and while drummer Roger Taylor insisted stories about them having dwarves circulating among guests with cocaine on their heads are false, he thinks they did some “stranger” things.
He told Uncut magazine: “There’s lots of myths. One of them is the bald dwarves at the party in New Orleans with cocaine on their heads.
“It’s rather funny but it is a myth – I didn’t see any anyway.
“But there was a man who moved under meat.
“He lay on a table covered in cold cuts, and when somebody approached the table, he would wobble, and all the meat would move and freak people out.
“I think that’s much stranger than a dwarf with cocaine on his head.”
The 75-year-old musician infamously sported tiger skin trousers on occasions, but they were stolen from the band’s office – and after the thief was caught, he turned up to court sporting the lurid garments.
Asked if he still has the trousers, Roger said: “Good god, no. Somebody stole them from our office years ago.
“He was caught and arraigned, and he turned up in court wearing them.
“They were fun, but I wouldn’t go around wearing them now.”
Before finding fame, Roger and late frontman Freddie Mercury worked on a London market stall – and the sticksman once sparked fury from his pal by selling his coat to a customer.
He recalled: “He came in very late one day, I was a bit annoyed with him.
“He hung up his jacket and went for a coffee in the market.
“This lady came through, quite well-off, and said, ‘That’s a nice jacket.’ So I sold it to her for 10 pounds!
“Freddie came back, swivelled round and said, ‘Where’s my f****** jacket?’ I said, ‘Now look, we have to eat…’
“But Freddie got it out of me who it was and he went tearing down Kensington High Street, caught her up just outside the underground station, ripped the jacket off and threw a tenner at her. He was furious! That’s a very typical story.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran is “at a loss for words” following the death of Liam Payne.
The former One Direction star died on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires and now ‘Perfect’ hitmaker Ed, 33, has taken to social media amid the “heartbreaking situation” to remember him.

Kevin Costner opens up about his multi-million dollar fortune as he admits he can take ‘risks’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner is willing to take “risks” with his money.
The 69-year-old Hollywood star – who has a reported net worth in the region of $400 million – has carved out a career in producing and directing to go along with his on-camera work and explained that he even put his house on the line so he could pursue his passion projects.
He told US TV show ‘Extra:’ “I would love to have some mythical billionaire.
“I know what it’s like to gamble everything. I’ve gambled everything. Billionaires don’t gamble as much. But I never really had that kind of investor who says, ‘I believe in your American storytelling,’ and so what am I supposed to do? Wilt like a daisy? Or I just look to myself. I push it in the middle and I don’t blink.
“The monetisation is there.
“What is crazy about me is I have even risked this place. I have great things in my life, but I don’t want those things to tie me up so much that I can’t pursue what else is in front of me, so in instances I have risked the things that I have.”
The ‘Yellowstone’ actor – who has Annie, 40, Lily, 37, and Joe, 36 with his ex-wife Cindy Silva, as well as son Liam, 26, with former partner Bridget Rooney – noted that he will leave enough money for his children but he “won’t be held back” by his major fortune.
He said: I’m going to risk some things, I’ll make sure my children are taken care of. I’ll make sure I’m fine. But this big pile I’ve been able to make, it can’t be the thing that is holding me back”

‘Desperate’ Liam Payne shocked hotel guests in the hour before his death

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne claimed he was “f***** up” because he “used to be in a boyband” just minutes before he died.
The 31-year-old singer died shortly after 5pm on Wednesday (16.10.24) when he fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires and not long before then, he was apparently looking for recognition in the lobby at the Casa Sur Hotel.
A 28-year-old IT consultant from Washington DC identified as Rebecca, which is not her real name, told MailOnline: “One of my friends was due to get his suite, so the hotel staff were a little on edge because he still hadn’t checked out at 4.30pm, but also because of his behaviour.
“I came into the hotel, and he was waiting by the elevator, and it was so clear he wanted someone to recognise him, there was something a bit desperate about him.
“I was with my friends and we did know who he was, but none of us were that bothered.
“When the lift came he suddenly said to us without any prompting: ‘Yes, I’m Liam!’ really drawing it out, and then said ‘All right come on you lot, get in the elevator with me, I love a cuddle.’
“I decided against it and waited for the next one, but some of the other girls got in with him and half way up, he started saying ‘Oh, you’re Americans, I live in West Palm Beach. I know Americans. You guys are f***ing crazy! You guys are f***ing dangerous!’
“And then he grabs a girl who I think was with him and starts fake choking her, only lightly, but the others thought it was really disturbing.”
Rebecca returned to the lobby 10 minutes later and the ‘Strip That Down’ singer appeared again shortly afterwards, carrying his open laptop from one corner as he flopped onto a sofa to read emails.
She continued: “I have a blind relative and I realised he had the laptop on its accessibility setting, for some reason, so that each time he moved the mouse, hovering over something the machine spoke out loud to say where the cursor was.
“I assumed he was doing that for the attention too. Then he opened his emails and saw one which obviously upset him. Suddenly he took the computer, shouted ‘f*** this s*** mate!’ and started bashing the computer on the ground.
“Everyone, especially the staff was really shocked. It’s a high-end hotel and his behaviour was so out of place – people were just chilling.”
Concerned, Rebecca went to check on the singer.
She said: “I went over, asked ‘Are you OK?’ But he just kind of grunted. Then he said ‘I used to be in a boyband. That’s why I’m so f***** up.’
“I couldn’t believe he’d just come out and said something like that. There was a lot more swearing and he took the laptop over and went to get back in the lift.”
Once Liam left, one of his entourage offered an apology.
Rebecca said: “After he’d gone, the British guy from his entourage, who I think was called Roger, came over and apologised on his behalf, saying ‘I’m sorry, he just gets so high sometimes.’
“I did wonder what these people with him were doing to help him, but maybe they had tried and failed. The hotel staff were freaking out and watching him really nervously. I could see one of them was on the phone to what I assumed was security or the police.
“I’ve never taken cocaine, but he was behaving exactly as I’d imagine someone would on the drug – he wasn’t focusing, and his pupils were dilated, and he was behaving in aggressive way – though not to anyone in particular.”
And a few minutes later, Liam returned to the lobby and fell “flat on his face” before being ushered back to his room.
Rebecca said: “It wasn’t long after that when the police arrived and initially we thought they were just going to kick him out, but then when the staff started running around like crazy, we suddenly realised the seriousness of what had happened.
“Some of my friends had seen him falling, it was awful, and at first they thought he might have just injured himself, but then we saw the body out in the courtyard, and later they brought him out on a stretcher, it was all so horrible.”

Christina Haack accuses Josh Hall of making ‘outrageous’ demands

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Haack has accused her estranged husband of making an “outrageous” demand for spousal support.
The ‘Christina on the Coast’ star claimed in a recent legal filing that Josh Hall had asked to be paid $65,000 a month and she blasted the request due to the short nature of their marriage.
In documents obtained by People magazine, she wrote: “Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting.”
She also claimed Josh had “just paid over $70,000 to pay off the lease” on a Bentley and therefore “has no need for spousal support.”
But Josh has hit out at the filing, arguing the “legal declarations” made by the 41-year-old beauty were “riddled with lies and assumptions”.
He also blasted Christina’s lawyer, Matthew S. DeArmey.
He wrote: “Interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity. Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical.”
A representative for Josh also denied he had asked for the hefty amount of spousal support.
The representative said: “This filing is riddled with provably false statements. For one, Josh never requested $65,000 in support. That’s false.”
Josh did request spousal support in his initial divorce petition on 15 July, though he did not specify an amount.
In response, the HGTV star asked that neither party be allowed to receive support.
The pair previously aired their grievances about their split in posts on social media.
Josh shared on his Instagram Story: “Cutting people off and letting them live with whatever delusional story suits them best, is top tier.”
Hours later, Christina – who has three children from previous relationships – wrote on her own Story: “Remember when you said you never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog.
“I guess plans changed. All about trying to take everything you can. With your mind on my money and my money on your mind ”
Josh’s representative branded his estranged wife’s claims “false” and “libellous”.
They told People magazine in a statement: “Josh has said repeatedly that he wants to handle the divorce like an adult – in the courts, not in social media and the tabloids.
“Over and over again, Christina has insisted otherwise, creating public spectacles, but Josh has still stayed quiet. But now Christina is defaming him. “These are false, libellous claims. Josh hasn’t stolen a penny from her or her family. This is a red line, and Christina has crossed it.
“Instead of repeating Christina’s false statement, the media should ask why Christina keeps insisting on handling this matter in public instead of through the law.”

Niall Horan breaks silence on death of Liam Payne as he remembers his ‘amazing friend’

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan has been left “absolutely devastated” following the death of Liam Payne.
The 31-year-old pop star shot to fame alongside Liam – who died on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires – as part of One Direction in 2010 and took to social media to remember his former bandmate.
On Friday (18.10.24) morning, he wrote on Instagram: “I’m absolutely devastated about the passing of my amazing friend, Liam. It just doesn’t feel real.
Liam had an energy for life and a passion for work that was infectious. He was the brightest in every room and always made everyone feel happy and secure.
All the laughs we had over the years, sometimes about the simplest of things, keep coming to mind through the sadness. We got to live out our wildest dreams together and I will cherish every moment we had forever. The bond and friendship we had doesn’t happen often in a lifetime.”
The ‘Heaven’ hitmaker had been performing in the Argentinian city earlier this month, and Liam had gone to see him but decided to stay in the country for a couple of weeks.
Niall noted how “heartbreaking” it was to realise that was the last time he would ever see him and sent his love to Liam’s family and son Bear, seven, who he has with his former partner Cheryl.
He said: “I feel so fortunate that I got to see him recently. I sadly didn’t know that after saying goodbye and hugging him that evening, I would be saying goodbye forever. It’s heartbreaking.
He added: “My love and condolences go out to Geoff, Karen, Ruth, Nicola and of course his son Bear.
Thank you for everything, Payno.
Love you brother.
Nialler”
Niall is the final member of the ‘Night Changes’ group to release a tribute to their former bandmate, with Louis, 32, noting how Liam had become the “brother he had always longed for”, whilst Zayn, 31, said there were “no words” to describe how he was feeling at the loss.
Harry stated that he will always miss his “lovely friend”, before the band released a joint statement to remember their co-star.
They said: “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.
“But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.
“The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us.

Rumer Willis thinks blended families can be ‘challenging

OHMYGOSSIP — Rumer Willis thinks blended families can be “challenging” to manage.
The 36-year-old actress is the daughter of Hollywood stars Bruce Willis and Demi Moore – who also have Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30, together – but he later went on to marry Emma Heming and has Mabel, 12, as well as 10-year-old Evelyn, with her but noted that because her parents have always prioritised their children, things have worked out for the best.
She told People: “It means so much to me, the way that my mom, and I think to all of my sisters and I, the way that my mom shows up for all of us as we are working with it, as she is working with it, even how she is with my other little sisters.
“We go over to dinner at Emma’s house with the girls and we’re family. And I think family can look differently in a lot of ways, but it’s just about what it means.
“I never had to split a holiday. We never had to split family vacations or Christmases or birthdays. And I think that a lot of the time, it’s just our own ego.
“If you put your kids first, if you’re fighting with that person and can’t put aside whatever it is for your kid, that’s about you. That’s how I feel about it. And I know it’s challenging sometimes.”
The ‘House Bunny’ star is mother herself to Louette, 18 months, with her former partner Derek Richard Thomas and noted that she has learned by example when it comes to parenting after the end of a relationship.
She said: “I feel like my parents set such an unbelievable example, even when they separated of the co-parenting dynamic, and Derek’s my best friend, and that has not changed.”

Milo Ventimiglia was first person to swear at Mandy Moore

OHMYGOSSIP — Milo Ventimiglia was the first person to ever swear at Mandy Moore.
The 47-year-old actor got on very well with his “lovely” ‘This Is Us’ co-star but told how things got “heated” when they were having a row in character as couple Jack and Rebecca Pearson and they got so caught up in the moment, they went off script and ended up cursing one another.
Speaking on the ‘This Was Us’ podcast, Milo said: “So I’ll just start by saying of course, Mandy Moore is one of the kindest human beings, she is who you all see her to be. Lovely, kind, beautiful, wonderful. Mandy Moore has never been cursed at in her life.”
Mandy laughed: “Yeah, no one’s said ‘f*** you’ to me.”
Milo continued: “In the middle of a take, things were kind of going in a direction, I think I, as Jack, was feeling it. I was a little defensive.
“I think you might have dropped an F-bomb, then at one point in this back-and-forth at the very end of this chasing around, I was just like, ‘F*** you!’
“And I kind of had started to look away but Mandy had literally [put her] her finger under my chin and pulled my face back. And what did you say though?… I know what you said, you said, ‘Look me in the f****** face!”
Mandy admitted: “It got hot, it got a little heated. Listen, sometimes you just have to go there.”
The scenes ultimately ended up being cut due to the programme’s restrictions on swearing but Milo admitted the take was “incredible” and he still has the footage somewhere.
The 40-year-old actress previously admitted she doesn’t think she’ll ever share a connection with another co-star like the one she had with Milo.
She told Variety: “It was effortless from the beginning, and it was effortless through the end. I acknowledge that I will never, ever have an on-screen partner like Milo again. It’s so rare to connect with someone on that level. In every way, this job was once in a lifetime.”
During their final scenes in the show, Milo smuggled tissues onto set to blot his co-star’s tears, and the pair had to use breaks in filming to move props around to hide the signs of Mandy’s emotion.
She said: “Sweet Milo had a tissue ball underneath the pillow for me.
“Each take, Milo would very gingerly help me flip the pillow over so you didn’t see the tear stains. We were just trying to configure the pillow every take to make sure you couldn’t see where Mandy had been crying!
“He’d hand me my little wad of tissues to sop up the tears. It was so indicative of our relationship and the way we always supported each other and had each other’s back. ”

Donald Trump makes surprising admission about his youngest son

OHMYGOSSIP — Donald Trump’s son has never had a girlfriend.
The 78-year-old Republican – who is married to former fashion model Melania Trump and has 18-year-old son Barron with her – “doesn’t think” that the teenager has had any romantic encounters just yet as he described him as “very smart” and easy to get along with.
Speaking on the ‘PDB’ podcast, he said: “I’m not sure he’s there yet. I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet. He’s very smart. He doesn’t mind being alone, but he’s somebody that gets along with people.”
The presidential candidate also has Donald Jr, 46, Ivanka, 42, and Eric, 40, with his first wife Ivana Trump – who died in 2022 at the age of 73 – as well as Tiffany, 31, with his second wife Marla Maples.
His comments about his youngest come just days after it was revealed that former model Tiffany is expecting her first baby with her husband Michael Boulos.
Donald revealed the news whilst on stage at the Detroit Economic Club earlier this month.
He said: “He happens to be the father of Tiffany’s husband, Michael, who’s a very exceptional young guy. And she’s an exceptional young woman. And she’s going to have a baby. So that’s nice.”
Tiffany – who had a brief career in pop music with ‘Like a Bird’ in 2011 before going on to model for New York Fashion Week in the years that followed – is yet to speak out about the pregnancy herself.
Michael is the son of a wealthy Lebanese family with businesses in Nigeria and he met Tiffany when they were both at at Lindsay Lohan’s club in Mykonos, Greece in 2018.

Peter Dinklage ‘threw up’ on audience

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Dinklage used to “throw up” on the audience when he was in a punk band.
The Game of Thrones actor was in a “punk-funk-rap group” called Whizzy in the 1990s and he joked seeing him in action was a “very visceral experience” because he had a “lot of fun” and gave his all to his performance.
Appearing on ‘Hot Ones’, he said: “Back in the day, I was like, ‘I’m not gonna be an actor. I’m not gonna do any silly commercials or any of that, I’m gonna do plays downtown for no money in which I’m gonna throw up on the audience and I’m gonna be in a punk band.’
“We were Beastie Boys rip-offs and yeah, we had fun. It was a lot of fun. And it was a couple years doing it, I got a cool scar on my temple. Head wounds bleed a lot. So I throw up on the audience, and I bleed on the audience. It’s a very visceral experience if you wanna see me live.”
The 55-year-old star eventually gave up music for acting but admitted he was “too angry for a long time” as he was so frustrated about the roles on offer for actors with dwarfism, but he ultimately built up a “really great” network.
He said: “I was angry, I think, too angry for a long time. … I just knew what the entertainment business was serving up people who are my size and that to me wasn’t acting.
“But I surrounded myself with really brilliant people. Not intentionally, but just friendships. I call it the tribe. And we just carried that friendship and working environment sort of one in the same into the future together. ‘Cause you can’t do it alone, I couldn’t do it alone.
“And that’s the beauty of what I do for a living, is the collaboration. So I was just lucky to find really great people who inspired me. More so everyday.”
One of Peter’s favourite people to have worked with is Charles Dance, who played his onscreen father Tywin Lannister in ‘Game of Thrones’ and he told how the 78-year-old star used to reassure him between takes because of the toxic dynamic between their two characters.
Peter – who played Tyrion Lannister – said: “I love Charlie Dance, he’s one of my favourite human beings and he played my father on the show and all my father…did on the show was humiliate me and sentence me to death…so he made a habit, ’cause we would get really invested in those things…talk about great dialogue.
“Dan Wiess and David Benioff gave us the greatest dialogue, so it really felt really lived in…just like between every take, he would come over and just gently touch me on the shoulder. We wouldn’t hug it out ’cause of time, and it felt very paternal too.
“He played a horrible human being, but he’s one of my favourite human beings and it was a shame how that one ended, on the toilet…”

Robbie Williams admits he thought he would die young as he pays tribute to Liam Payne

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams thinks he is only still alive because of “dumb luck”.
The 50-year-old pop star shot to fame when he was a teenager as part of Take That in the late 1990s and has opened up about his personal struggles with addiction in the years that followed but following the death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne – who died on Wednesday (16.10.24) after jumping from his hotel balcony in Buenos Ares – he initially assumed he would suffer a similar fate to Hollywood actor Heath Ledger, who died in 2008 aged just 28.
He wrote on Instagram: “I met the boys on The X Factor and ‘’mentored’’ them. I use the word mentored in inverted brackets cos I hardly did anything to be honest. I just hung out with them. They were all cheeky and lovely. I enjoyed the light hearted piss takery and thought about all the times I was that cheeky p***taker with the popstars that had gone before me when I was in Take That.
“Our paths have crossed ever since that day and I’m fond of them all. Liam’s trials and tribulations were very similar to mine, so it made sense to reach out and offer what I could. So I did.
“I still had my demons at 31. I relapsed. I was in pain. I was in pain because I relapsed. I relapsed because of a multitude of painful reasons. I remember Heath Ledger passing and thinking ‘I’m next’. By the grace of god and/or dumb luck I’m still here.
“The internet will unfortunately carry on being the internet. The media will unfortunately carry on being the media and fame will carry on being fame.”
The ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker urged his fans to remember that “even famous strangers need compassion” in life and concluded his statement by noting that a “tragic painful loss” Liam’s death has been for the world.
He said: “As individuals though we have the power to change ourselves. We can be kinder. We can be more empathic. We can at least try to be more compassionate towards ourselves, our family, our friends, strangers in life and strangers on the internet.
“Even famous strangers need your compassion.
“What a Handsome Talented boy. What a tragic painful loss for his friends, family, fans and by the looks of the energy this moment has created – The World.”
Liam shot to fame in 2010 alongside Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik when they placed third on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’, and they went on to achieve global chart-topping success as the world’s first billion-dollar boyband.

Myleene Klass explains why there is a ‘line of pop roadkill’ after tragic death of Liam Payne

OHMYGOSSIP — Myleene Klass thinks the public can be quite “unforgiving” towards celebrities who struggle with their mental health.
The 46-year-old star found fame as a member of Hear’Say in the early 2000s and following the death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne – who passed away on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires – insisted that there is a “literal line of pop roadkill” amongst young celebrities because the type of behaviour that is “almost encouraged” amongst them.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘Loose Women’, she said: “I was in a band in my early twenties and the experience of it was absolutely incredible when it was incredible. But when it was low, it’s so difficult to comprehend because we’re almost unforgiving of anyone who is struggling because we think ‘You’ve got fame, you’ve got money, you can go to any party you want. Why is your life so hard when I’m trying to make ends meet?’
“So we’re quite unforgiving of it.
“But they’re like Icarus, they fly too close to the sun. There’s a literal line of so much pop roadkill because of the experiences they go through. So if we see somebody taking drugs, there are very few scenarios that you would allow that or occupations where people could get away with that but it’s almost encouraged because it plays into that rock and roll lifestyle. What did you expect?”
The ‘Pure and Simple’ hitmaker – who was in Hear’Say alongside Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan – noted that she and her bandmates were “in way equipped” to deal with certain experiences that came their way because of early fame.
“Some of the experiences we went through as a band, we were in no way equipped for it. We were just five kids in a room at the end of the day, not unlike these five kids [One Direction] in a room. That’s all you have at the end of the day. You’re together in the press, you’re on tour together, you’re on stage together and all your friends are either at uni or they’ve got jobs so by default you’re back together again.”
Liam shot to fame alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 and Liam had been staying in the Argentinian city after attending Niall’s concert there just a fortnight earlier.
Police found a bottle of whiskey, a lighter, and a white powder in the room, as well as medications including clonazepam – which is used to treat epilepsy, panic disorders or involuntary muscle spasms – and energy pills.
Law enforcement officials described “total disorder” in the room, with various things broken.
Audio from the two calls made by the hotel’s head of reception to emergency services has also circulated online, with the employee admitting staff were “worried” a guest would put their life at risk.
In the first call, he said: “We have a guest drunk with drugs and alcohol. When he [them, gender not clear in conversation] is conscious, he is breaking everything in the room…
“We have a guest who is destroying everything in his room. We need someone to come.”
After the line went dead, he called back and said: “We need you to send someone urgently because I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger.
“They must be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit worried he’ll do something, that he’ll put his life at risk.”
Liam’s body was found in the hotel’s inner courtyard at around 5pm local time.

King Charles ‘is really looking forward’ to Australia tour

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles and Queen Camilla are “really looking forward” to their tour of Australia.
The 75-year-old monarch and Camilla, 77, arrived in the country on Friday (18.10.24), and the royals are feeling excited about their six-day visit.
They said in a post on X: “Ahead of our first visit to Australia as King and Queen, we are really looking forward to returning to this beautiful country to celebrate the extraordinarily rich cultures and communities that make it so special. See you there!
“- Charles R Camilla R. (sic)”
The royals received an official welcome at Sydney Airport, where they were greeted by Australia’s governor-general Sam Mostyn, and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The tour is Charles’ first visit to Australia since he became the country’s head of state in September 2022. The tour is also the monarch’s biggest trip since his cancer diagnosis earlier this year, and his treatment has been suspended while he’s touring the country.
In February, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer”.
The monarch underwent a “corrective procedure” for an enlarged prostate and doctors noticed a “separate issue of concern” that led to his cancer diagnosis.
The Palace said at the time: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted.
“Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties.
“Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.
“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure.
“He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.”

David Harbour has ‘strong opinions’ about Stranger Things

OHMYGOSSIP — David Harbour “can be very critical” of ‘Stranger Things’.
The 49-year-old actor has starred on the hit Netflix show since 2016, and David has confessed to having some “very strong opinions” about the series.
Looking forward to the final season of ‘Stranger Things’, David said on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast: “I’m very close to the show, so I have very strong opinions. And they may not match yours if you’re a fan of the show.”
David admitted that he can actually get “very mad” if he doesn’t like a particular episode.
He said: “I can be very critical of this show.”
Despite this, David is convinced that fans will love the final episode of season five.
The actor shared: “The end of this episode when we were reading it – just us reading it – about halfway through, people started crying.
“Then about the last 20 minutes, it was just uncontrollably crying, waves of different people. Noah Schnapp being my favourite.”
David acknowledged that ‘Stranger Things’ is especially meaningful to the likes of Noah, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin, as they have gone from childhood to adulthood during their time on the show.
He said: “I think part of that also is the fact that these kids, it was their childhood.
“Like, they started the show when they were 11 and 12, and here we are reading [the finale].”
Meanwhile, Maya Hawke previously revealed that filming the final season was a “heartbreaking” experience for her.
The 26-year-old actress – who has played the part of Robin Buckley on ‘Stranger Things’ since 2018 – admitted that the show means a lot to her.
Maya told PEOPLE: “It’s the end of a really long journey. Longer for some of my castmates, even, than me. It’s really sentimental.”

Simon Cowell ‘devastated and heartbroken’ over Liam Payne’s passing

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell has been left “devastated, heartbroken and empty” by Liam Payne’s passing.
‘The X Factor’ mogul, 65, broke his silence over the singer’s shock passing on Friday (18.20.24), two days after Liam, 31, plunged to his death from the balcony of his third-floor room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires.
Liam was unsuccessful when he first auditioned for Simon’s ‘X Factor’ show in 2008 – but when he returned to the show in 2010 was put in the One Direction line-up alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.
Simon’s long statement on Liam’s death was posted in essay form on his Instagram as a series of slides.
It said in full: “You never really know how you feel about someone until a moment like this happens.
“Liam I am devastated. Heartbroken. And I feel empty. And I want you to know how much love and respect I have for you. Every tear I have shed is a memory of you.
“This is so difficult to put into words right now. I went outside today, and I thought about so many times we had together.
“I wanted to let you know what I would always say to the thousands of people who would always ask me ‘What is Liam like?’
“And I would tell them you were kind, funny, sweet, thoughtful, talented, humble, focused. And how much love you genuinely had for the fans.
“I had to tell you when you were 14 that this wasn’t your time. And we both made a promise that we would meet again.
“A lot of people would have given up.
“You didn’t. You came back and within months the whole world know Liam. “And you never forgot the fans. I watched you spending so much time with people who had wanted to meet you. You really cared.
“You came to see me last year. Not for a meeting. Just to sit and talk. And we reminisced about all of the fun times we had together. And how proud you were to be a Dad.
“After you left, I was reminded that you were still the sweet, kind boy I had met all of those years ago.”
Referring to the seven-year-old boy Liam has with singer Cheryl, the music boss went on: “I have met your son, Bear. He has your smile and that twinkle in his eye that you have. And he will be so proud of everything you achieved. And how you achieved it.”
Simon added about his fondness for One Direction: “I always thought the 5 of you in the band as brothers. And regarding their messages today I believe you were.
“And now Liam, I can see the effect you had on so many people. Because you left us too soon.”
He concluded his statement: “Rest in peace my friend. And I am sending my love, thoughts and prayers to your family. Simon X.”
