Blac Chyna engaged to Derrick Milano

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna is engaged to Derrick Milano after one year of dating.
The 36-year-old reality TV star is set to tie the knot with the 30-year-old rapper after he got down on one knee and produced a diamond ring while performing on stage during Howard University’s Yard Fest.
Chyna – whose real name in Angela White – accepted the proposal to huge cheers from the crowd, while DJ Quicksilva caught the big moment on camera and uploaded the video to X.
He captioned the clip: “Only @HowardU #YardFest can make MAGIC happen like this.
“My guy @DerrickMilano just popped the BIG question to the HomeTeam @BLACCHYNA. CONGRATS.”
Chyna has previously been engaged twice; to Tyga, and Rob Kardashian.
She and Tyga started dating in 2011 and welcomed son King Cairo, now 12, the following year.
However, they split in 2014.
She then went on to date Rob Kardashian in 2016, with whom she shares daughter Dream, seven.
They split in 2017.
Meanwhile, Chyna’s ex-boyfriend recently accused her of abusing him multiple times during their three-year relationship.
Twin Hector filed a domestic violence lawsuit against the model, in which he alleged she physically and verbally attacked him, and claimed she was prone to violent outbursts, particularly when drunk.
In documents obtained by People magazine, the 27-year-old rapper – who dated Chyna from August 2020 until March 2023 – accused his former partner of “often” threatening to kill him and subjecting him to a “vicious attack” while he slept in September 2021, leaving him with multiple injuries after he sustained “multiple closed-fisted punches, elbow blows, and knee kicks to his body and face.”

Andrew Garfield speaks out on the possibility of dating Amelia Dimoldenberg

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Garfield could “maybe” have dated Amelia Dimoldenberg.
The 41-year-old actor first met Amelia, 30, on the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in November 2022 and the pair have been subject to potential romance rumblings ever since but as he made his long-awaited appearance on her ‘Chicken Shop Dates’ series, he admitted that there could have been something there had there not been such attention on the situation.
He said: “This is f***** up. The fact that we could have gone on a date at some point, maybe. Take out all the practicalities, and the logic, I believe, maybe, that we could have, without all of this. But it’s this. I’m a very private person, in my private life.”
Amelia – who found fame interviewing celebrities on her YouTube comedy series – was then asked by Andrew if she would want a “long-term, monogamous” relationship in general and confirmed that she would, but also values her “independence” in life.
She said: “I do, yeah, but I also like my independence and I want to do whatever want. I actually think it’s kind of crazy that you’re obligated to share a bed forever.”
Towards the end of the interview, the ‘Spider-Man’ star addressed the situation again where he suggested that he and Amelia should spend some time together off-screen.
He said: “I think we’d have a really nice time without the camera. I think we just enjoy each other’s company. Or maybe not, f*** it.”
She responded: “I think we should be friends.”
He replied: “Okay, great. Done.”
She said: “Did I just friendzone this situation? Oh, I shouldn’t have done that. I don’t know what I want! You have my number.”

Liam Payne’s sister breaks silence on his tragic death: ‘I’m sorry I couldn’t save you…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s sister is struggling to accept that he is gone.
The former One Direction star died at the age of 31 last Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires and now Ruth Gibbins, 33, has admitted that she “doesn’t believe” any of it is happening and as she looked back on his rise to fame, noted that she found the motivation to pass her driving test so she could always be there for him whenever he needed her.
She wrote on Instagram: “I don’t believe this is happening. Many times have I poured my heart out publicly with pride about Liam but never much about life as his sister.
Liam is my best friend, no one could ever make me laugh as much as him, doing his impressions always had me creasing and he loved seeing how much of a laugh he could get.
“He moved out when he was 17 to chase his dreams, its this that forced me to finally pass my driving test during the xfactor live show weeks because I couldn’t stand the thought of not being able to get to him. I would regularly drive to have tea with him after I finished work, just to sit around. One month the hotel was right by a wagamamas and I swear he had it morning, noon and night!
“I used to love picking him up from work when it all started, especially after concerts, speeding us away from venues or appearances, Liam plugging in his phone to show me the new songs for albums. Liam loved 1D, he loved his brothers and we talked about it so much. He would just play song after song that had been recorded but never used and we’d sit having a mini 1D concert.”
“Liam knew he could call me anytime, any day and I would pick up or that I would always fetch him if he needed to just come home. Our calls would often result in me laughing at his ideas and next adventure, talking through his plans and working through his issues but it would always end with ‘love you miss you’ ‘love you ru.'”
Liam found fame alongside Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik as part of the world’s first billion-dollar boyband before going on to a solo career with hit single ‘Strip That Down’ and Ruth always knew that her brother could be a star.
She said: “Liam was born with music in his veins, it was clear from a very young age he just had that quality that would make him a star. I could sit and listen to him sing all day, which is a good job really because he never bloody stopped! I will never tire of the look he gives when showing new songs, ‘listen loud’ he’d say and just grin with pride of his work.
“I keep notes on my phone ‘things to tell liam’ so that if he was away working for a while, I’d know what I needed to update him on. I suppose it’s only right I tell him now.”(sic)
In a second statement, Ruth admitted that her “brain is struggling to catch up” with the events that have unfolded over the last few days and she “doesn’t understand” where her brother has gone as she spoke directly to him in the form of a letter.
She wrote: “Liam, My brain is struggling to catch up with what’s happening and I don’t understand where you’ve gone.
I just want to drive to your house and walk in to music blasting and find you sat there writing a song or walk in to your art phases and sit with you whilst you draw or craft.
“What I love most about you is your ability to make me laugh, I never chuckle as much as I do when I’m with you with anyone else.
I’m always in awe of your talent, it should be illegal to be so talented and just have the ability to not only be good at things but be bloody great at everything you attempt, without even knowing you’re absolutely smashing it each time.
“I love your kindness and how proud I am to call you my brother and my best friend. You also make a great Sunday dinner too!”
Ruth has become the first member of Liam’s immediate family to speak out following the tragedy, although in the immediate aftermath, an unnamed relative claimed that Ruth, his other sister Nicola and their parents Karen and Geoff had been left “devastated” by what had happened.
Ruth continued her statement by claiming that she doesn’t feel as if the “world was good enough or kind enough” to her brother – who leaves behind son Bear, seven. from his previous relationship with Girls Aloud star Cheryl – and is “sorry” that she couldn’t save him but vowed to take care of her nephew.
“I don’t feel this world was good enough or kind enough to you, and quite often over the last few years, you’ve had to really try hard to overcome all that was being aimed at you. You just wanted to be loved and to make people happy with your music. You never believed you were good enough, I hope you can now see this outpouring of love that you never received in your time.
“Thank you for changing my life, thank you for the incredible memories, thank you for being the best brother and friend I’ll ever have! We’ll take care of Bear and he will always know how incredible his Dad is and how much you idolise him.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t save you.
“Love you, oh how my heart misses you,
Ru xxx
“One last time I need you to know, I’m here if you need anything, I’d drive to the end of the universe to bring you back.”(sic)

Liam Payne’s ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer breaks silence over pop star’s tragic death

OHMYGOSSIP — Danielle Peazer “needs to grieve privately” following the death of Liam Payne.
The 36-year-old dancer was in a relationship with Liam – who died on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires – in the years after he initially found fame as part of One Direction, and has thanked those who have reached out to her with their condolences but will only share more when she feels able to do do.
She wrote on Instagram: “Over the last few days I’ve been trying to process the news of Liam’s death. Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to call, text, or DM sending condolences and offering support. I’m so grateful and it’s helped more than you know.
In time I will share more, but right now I don’t feel mentally strong enough to face the reality of what’s happened.
Like all of us, I too am grieving, and need to take some time to do that privately. ”
Danielle – who met Liam at an audition for ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 and dated him until 2012 – also admitted that things have been made difficult by what strangers have said to her online and will explain more in the future but begged her followers to “take care of each other” in the meantime.
She said: “It’s a heartbreaking time, which has already been made so much more challenging due to receiving negative and misinformed comments as well pre conceived judgement from those who don’t personally know me, Liam or anything about our relationship over the last 14 years.
I will be back soon when I’m ready, but until then please take care of yourselves and each other.”
Danielle is now in a relationship with former Captial Radio DJ Sonny Jay and has five-month-old daughter Mia with him, whilst Liam went on to have Bear, seven, with Girls Aloud star Cheryl.
At the time of his death, Liam had been in a relationship with model Kate Cassidy for two years.
Liam shot to fame in 2010 alongside Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik when they placed third on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’, and they went on to achieve global chart-topping success as the world’s first billion-dollar boyband.
The group went on hiatus in 2016 and Liam went on to a solo career with his hit single ‘Strip That Down’ and his only album ‘LP1’.
Just over 24 hours after the tragedy, the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ singers released a joint statement, admitting to being “devastated by the news of Liam’s passing”.
They said: “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say.
“But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.
“The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us.
“We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam. – Louis, Zayn, Niall and Harry. (sic)”

50 Cent thinks Eminem will be the ‘greatest grandfather’

OHMYGOSSIP — 50 Cent thinks Eminem will be the “greatest grandfather” ever.
The 52-year-old rap legend is set to become a grandparent for the first time now that his daughter Hailie Jade Mathers – who he has with ex-wife Kim Scott – is expecting her first baby with her husband Evan McClintock, and the ‘In Da Club’ hitmaker has insisted that his friend will thrive in his new role.
He told People: “Oh man, he’ll be the greatest grandfather. That grandkid is gonna say, ‘My granddaddy is still cool. My granddad is cool. He still didn’t lose his cool. He’s still the biggest rap artist in the world.”
Hailie, 28, revealed through her father’s music video for his new song ‘Temporary’ that she is set to become a mother, and then later revealed that she is expecting a baby boy.
Speaking on her ‘Just A Little Shady’ podcast, she popped a balloon filled with blue confetti and proclaimed: “It’s a boy! We’re so excited, too. When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me. They’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy. I was like, ‘Okay well they’re still going to Target with me.”
Eminem’s music video featured a montage of clips of the pair across the span of their lives so far – including a moment when she presented her father with a blue jumper with ‘Grandpa 1’ written on the back, as well as a copy of her sonogram, which she later posted on Instagram alongside her husband.
A short time later, insiders claimed that the ‘Stan’ hitmaker was “excited” about becoming a grandfather for the first time as he focused on having a quite life.

Liam Payne reportedly spent his final hours with two women in his hotel suite

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne reportedly spent his final hours with two women in his hotel suite.
The former One Direction star died at the age of 31 on Wednesday (16.10.24) when he fell from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires but is said to have invited Aldana Serrano, 31, and Lucila Goitea, 27, to spend some time with him before the tragic incident occurred.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Aldana and Lucila are absolutely devastated by what happened after they left the hotel.
“They co-operated with the police as soon as they were contacted and wanted to help with the investigation as much as possible.
“Police have the girls’ phone numbers and they will contact them as and when they need if they feel they need any more information.”
According to reports, the women arrived at the CasaSur hotel at 11:30am and left at around 4pm.
It is understood that Liam fell from the balcony at 5:07pm, just minutes after he was said to be arguing with one woman over money in the hotel lobby.
Fellow guest, US national Michael Fleischmann, claimed that he overheard Liam saying: “I’ll give you $20,000 just because I can. I have $55million and I like to help people.”
His mother added: “It just looked like she was extremely uncomfortable with him, and a little apprehensive.
“The lobby was almost empty at that point. It was just my son, me, Liam Payne, the woman and the staff.
“The manager was trying to politely intervene or calm him down. There was a feeling of anxiety in the area.”
Another American tourist claimed that she heard the ‘Strip That Down’ singer shout ‘F*** this s*** mate” at around 4:30pm.
The pop star had arrived in the Argentinan capital two weeks before his death so he could attend his former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert in the city and decided to stay.
He was initially with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, but she left the city just days before his death.
Liam was also apparently looking for recognition in the lobby at the Casa Sur Hotel.
A 28-year-old IT consultant from Washington DC identified as Rebecca, which is not her real name, told MailOnline: “One of my friends was due to get his suite, so the hotel staff were a little on edge because he still hadn’t checked out at 4.30pm, but also because of his behaviour.
“I came into the hotel, and he was waiting by the elevator, and it was so clear he wanted someone to recognise him, there was something a bit desperate about him.
“I was with my friends and we did know who he was, but none of us were that bothered.
“When the lift came he suddenly said to us without any prompting: ‘Yes, I’m Liam!’ really drawing it out, and then said ‘All right come on you lot, get in the elevator with me, I love a cuddle.’
“I decided against it and waited for the next one, but some of the other girls got in with him and half way up, he started saying ‘Oh, you’re Americans, I live in West Palm Beach. I know Americans. You guys are f***ing crazy! You guys are f***ing dangerous!’
“And then he grabs a girl who I think was with him and starts fake choking her, only lightly, but the others thought it was really disturbing.”
Rebecca returned to the lobby 10 minutes later and Liam appeared again shortly afterwards, carrying his open laptop from one corner as he flopped onto a sofa to read emails.
She continued: “I have a blind relative and I realised he had the laptop on its accessibility setting, for some reason, so that each time he moved the mouse, hovering over something the machine spoke out loud to say where the cursor was.
“I assumed he was doing that for the attention too. Then he opened his emails and saw one which obviously upset him. Suddenly he took the computer, shouted ‘f*** this s*** mate!’ and started bashing the computer on the ground.
“Everyone, especially the staff was really shocked. It’s a high-end hotel and his behaviour was so out of place – people were just chilling.”
Concerned, Rebecca went to check on the singer.
She said: “I went over, asked ‘Are you OK?’ But he just kind of grunted. Then he said ‘I used to be in a boyband. That’s why I’m so f***** up.’
“I couldn’t believe he’d just come out and said something like that. There was a lot more swearing and he took the laptop over and went to get back in the lift.”
Once Liam left, one of his entourage offered an apology.
Rebecca said: “After he’d gone, the British guy from his entourage, who I think was called Roger, came over and apologised on his behalf, saying ‘I’m sorry, he just gets so high sometimes.’
“I did wonder what these people with him were doing to help him, but maybe they had tried and failed. The hotel staff were freaking out and watching him really nervously. I could see one of them was on the phone to what I assumed was security or the police.
“I’ve never taken cocaine, but he was behaving exactly as I’d imagine someone would on the drug – he wasn’t focusing, and his pupils were dilated, and he was behaving in aggressive way – though not to anyone in particular.”
And a few minutes later, Liam returned to the lobby and fell “flat on his face” before being ushered back to his room.
Rebecca said: “It wasn’t long after that when the police arrived and initially we thought they were just going to kick him out, but then when the staff started running around like crazy, we suddenly realised the seriousness of what had happened.
“Some of my friends had seen him falling, it was awful, and at first they thought he might have just injured himself, but then we saw the body out in the courtyard, and later they brought him out on a stretcher, it was all so horrible.”

Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel shares update on cancer diagnosis

OHMYGOSSIP — Danielle Fishel has completed her cancer surgery.
The 43-year-old actress recently returned to work after going public with her breast cancer diagnosis earlier this year and has now shared a health update after undergoing treatment.
She told E! News: “On August 13, I had my first surgery. They went in, they removed a mass. That pathology came back that they had one margin they weren’t thrilled with. The medial margin had cancer a little too close to it.
“That pathology came back with no more evidence of cancer and all clear margins. So surgically, I am now done.”
But the former ‘Boy Meets World’ star is not completely out of the woods yet, as she still needs to go through some form of radiation and is just gearing up to undergo her next appointments.
She said: “The next stage is radiation, and the decision about whether I need to do whole breast radiation, or I need to do targeted radiation, or a combination of the two or if I’m going to do radiation at all. Those are topics that I have yet to decide, and I have to make them with the care of my doctors. I haven’t picked a radiation oncologist yet. I’m about ready to start those appointments.”
“Additionally. I will most likely be starting a hormone therapy, an estrogen blocker, because my cancer was estrogen-positive, so it was feeding off of estrogen.”
The former Disney Channel star may have caught the cancer early, but she is still facing the possibility of lifelong medication.
She said: “Being on hormone therapy, that’s a lifelong thing or at least until I’m all the way through menopause. When I first was diagnosed, I had a fellow cancer survivor reach out to me, and I was like, ‘Yeah, but thankfully mine is stage zero.’ And she wrote back and she said, ‘I just want you to know there is no easy cancer.’ And I thought about her saying that to me many times over the course of this treatment that I’ve been on so far.”

On Saturday (19.10.24) evening, he wrote on Instagram: “Given the heartbreaking loss experienced this week,
“I’ve made the decision to postpone the US leg of the STAIRWAY TO THE SKY Tour. The dates are being rescheduled for January and I’ll post them as soon as it’s all set in the next few days. Your tickets will remain valid for the
new dates. Love you all and thank you for your understanding.”
Zayn and Liam found fame alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan as part of the world’s first billion-dollar boyband but Zayn quit to go solo in 2015 and the band went on an indefinite hiatus the following year.
In a statement posted on Instagram following the death of his bandmate, Zayn wrote: “Liam, I have found myself talking out loud to you, hoping you can hear me, I can’t help but think selfishly that there was so many more conversations for us to have in our lives.
“I never got to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times in my life.
“When I was missing home as a 17 year old kid you would always be there with a positive outlook and reassuring smile and let me know you were my friend and that I was loved.
“Even though you were younger than me you were always more sensible than me, you were headstrong, opinionated and gave no f**** about telling people when they were wrong.
“Even though we butted heads because of this a few times, I always secretly respected you for it.
“When it came to the music Liam, you were the most qualified in every sense.
“I knew nothing in comparison, I was a novice child with no experience and you were already a professional.
“I was always happy to know, no matter what happened on stage we could always rely on you to know which way to steer the ship next. (sic)”
Zayn also wishes he could say a proper goodbye to his former bandmate following his shock death at the age of just 31.
He added: “I lost a brother when you left us and can’t explain to you what I’d give to just give you a hug one last time and say goodbye to you properly and tell you that I loved and respected you dearly.
“I will cherish all the memories I have with you in my heart forever, there is no words that justify or explain how I feel right now other than beyond devastated.
“I hope that wherever you are right now you are good and are at peace and you know how loved you are.
“Love you bro. (sic)”

X Factor star Eoghan Quigg opens up on ‘loneliness’ of the music industry as he remembers Liam Payne

OHMYGOSSIP — Eoghan Quigg felt “extremely lonely” before he quit the music industry.
The 32-year-old former singer reached the final of ‘The X Factor’ in 2008 but had auditioned alongside Liam Payne – who died on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires – in the years before he made a return to the show and joined One Direction.
While Liam went on to chart-topping success as part of the world’s first billion-dollar boyband, alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik, Eoghan released one album in 2009 and then decided to quit showbiz altogether.
Speaking on Talk TV, Eoghan explained: “It is extremely lonely. It is just a loop of a show, a tour bus, a plane, a hotel and then back to another show. It can get lonely so that’s why I made the decision when I was 18 to come home.
“It wasn’t really working out, and I was at peace with that but it’s very difficult to come back down to earth as well. I had a close-knit family and a community at home where it was easier for me. I’m one of the lucky ones. I’m not sitting here comparing myself to the level that Liam got to. He was absolutely global.”
Eoghan – who is in a relationship with Amy Campbell and has three-year-old daughter Emmy Belle with her – is “at peace” with how his 15 minutes came to an end, and recalled the last time he had a conversation with the tragic pop star as he came to see him just before going for the audition that eventually led to his global fame.
He said: “Obviously, mental health was about in 2008 but we never really talked about it and there wasn’t the help and resources that we have now. We were just doing the same things all the time, it’s very difficult to progress in the music industry. I had a lovely wee taste of it and I was at peace with that. I just wanted to come home and have a bit of normality.
“I always thought I’d get back to it, but I never did. I’m still involved in music and I have a family now, and I work in radio and other mediums. I’m at peace.
“This whole week, I just want people to remember Liam’s legacy for what he did in One Direction. The last time I spoke to Liam was in December 2009. I did a show in [Liam’s hometown] Wolverhampton. He came down to see me, and the last thing he told me, he said ‘I’m going for ‘The X Factor’ again this year.’ I wished him well but we never spoke ever again. To me, that’s really sad. But he was one of those guys who when he put his mind to something, then he was gonna do it. I just want everyone to remember him for all the successful things he did. He was down-to-earth, energetic, and a bubbly lad. It’s a very dark day for the music industry.”
Eoghan eventually placed third behind JLS and Alexandra Burke on his edition of ‘The X Factor’, whilst Liam failed to progress past the Judge’s Houses stage of the competition.
But he is “at complete contentment” with how things turned out for him and admitted that he wouldn’t be “comfortable” with the idea of his own child going on a reality show these days amid the pressures that come with social media.
He said: “I’m at complete contentment with how it worked out for me. It is quite scary for young people and if my child asked me now if they could go on a reality show, I wouldn’t be comfortable. Just with all the toxicity of social media.
“When I was on ‘The X Factor’ in 2008, it wasn’t really that big, it was just starting out and I count my blessings for that because it’s such a dark place.”

ASAP Rocky is reportedly set to buy the Tranmere Rovers

OHMYGOSSIP — ASAP Rocky is reportedly set to buy the Tranmere Rovers Football Club.
The 36-year-old rapper – who is in a relationship with pop superstar Rihanna, also 36, and has RZA, two, and 15-month-old Riot Rose with her – is part of an investment group headed by celebrity lawyer Joe Tacopina, and they are fronting the takeover bid for the Liverpool-based League Two club.
A source told The Sun on Sunday’s Bizarre column: “Rocky is tight with Joe and has committed to the Tranmere bid. Joe has been to Tranmere matches and Rocky has plans to go over too after the deal is completed. We may even see Rihanna watching League Two football.”
According to reports, a Disney+ documentary in the style of ‘Welcome To Wrexham’ – which followed Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds as they purchased Wrexham AFC in Wales – could also be on the way.
The insider also noted that Joe believes that the club in question is “undervalued” and a celebrity endorsement of this sort of size could “transform” its level of success.
The source said: “Joe thinks Tranmere — a famous club, near to Liverpool — is undervalued and that by clever marketing and celebrity endorsement he can transform it. With the likes of Rocky on board, maybe so..”
ASAP – whose real name is Rakim Mayers – recently explained that despite their busy schedules, his relationship with the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker is “going great” and described her as the “perfect person” to manage such a lifestyle.
He told Billboard: “It’s crazy how we find balance with our chaotic schedules. [The relationship] is going great.
“I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she’s very understanding of that. And when the schedule’s freed up, that’s when you get to spend [the] most time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.”

Sir Chris Hoy reveals terminal cancer diagnosis has left him with ‘two to four years’ to live

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Chris Hoy has “two to four years” to live.
The 48-year-old Olympian revealed earlier this year that he had been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer and noted that the treatment was going “really well” at the time but has now announced that his condition is terminal.
He told The Sunday Times: “When you realise, God, this has been going on since the beginning of time. As unnatural as it feels, this is nature. You know, we were all born and we all die, and this is just part of the process.
“[Sometimes there is] no chance to say goodbyes or make peace with everything. But I’ve been given enough time.”
Doctors first found a tumour in Sir Chris’s shoulder, and then a second scan discovered primary cancer in his prostate, which metastasised to his pelvis, ribs, spine and ribs.
The former track cyclist and racing driver – who is an 11-time world champion and a six-time Olympic champion – ends up feeling tired and weak because of his medication but insists that he is “lucky” to be receiving treatment in the first place, although he won’t be looking at the whole situation with a sense of cockeyed optimism.
He said: “But you remind yourself, aren’t I lucky that there is medicine I can take that will fend this off for as long as possible. But I’m not just saying these words. I’ve learnt to live in the moment, and I have days of genuine joy and happiness.
“It’s absolutely not denial or self-delusion. It’s about trying to recognise, what do we have control over?”
The sports star – who has been married to Sarra Kemp since 2010 and has Callum, 10, and Chloe, seven, with her – has decided to “crack on and enjoy” the time he has left.
He said: “The fear and anxiety, it all comes from trying to predict the future. But the future is this abstract concept in our minds. None of us know what’s going to happen. The one thing we know is we’ve got a finite time on the planet.
“So what I’ve come round to thinking is, why spoil that time? Crack on and enjoy and be grateful for what you do have. I’m not saying that I’m a Zen master and I’ve controlled my thoughts and my emotions in every situation. I’m not trying to pretend that every day is amazing. But I have genuine moments of joy. I have laughter. I’m not thinking about it all the time. I’m back to my old self.”

How Liam Payne ‘took the time to greet’ his fans just before he died: ‘He seemed very happy…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne “took the time to greet” his fans before his death.
The One Direction star had been staying in Buenos Aires for a number of weeks when he died on Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from the balcony of his hotel room, and now fan Noelia Verón has recalled getting the chance to meet the singer just weeks before the tragedy happened.
She told Us Weekly: “I met him on September 30th at the hotel’s door. I mean, I was passing by. I waited there for a while to take a picture of him because I couldn’t believe it. He came closer to the fans, he took pictures.
“We shared a moment. In my case I [jokingly] told him that I had escaped from the [school building]; I had abandoned the class and he made a joke about it, like, ‘I couldn’t believe it’ [and asked] what kind of class I was doing, what I was studying.
“He looked good. The relationship with the fans was unique. He took the time to greet each one of them, to take a picture, to be there, to share. He lived it all with a lot of emotion, everything that happened on that September 30th.”
Another fan to bump into the singer was Luana Matzkin, and she recalled that he seemed “very happy” at the time.
She said: “It was crazy. We arrived running, knowing that he was possibly going to leave at that time. “I was there taking pictures and I was already shaking since I saw him from afar. It was crazy to have him up close. He seemed very happy. He stayed for an hour or more taking pictures with all the fans who were there.”
Liam shot to fame in 2010 alongside Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik when they placed third on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’, and they went on to achieve global chart-topping success as the world’s first billion-dollar boyband.
The group went on hiatus in 2016 and Liam went on to have son Bear, seven, with his former partner Cheryl and enjoyed a solo career with his hit single ‘Strip That Down’ and his only album ‘LP1’.
He had travelled to Buenos Aires with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy to see his former bandmate Niall perform in the city, but they decided to stay for a couple of weeks and she left just days before his death.
(sic)”

Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter arrested on drug and child neglect charges

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter has been charged with felony child neglect and drug possession.
The 62-year-old comic is “hopeful” 27-year-old Chelsea O’Donnell will “find her way” through her battle with addiction after the mom-of-four was booked into jail in Wisconsin, where she will stay until appearing in court next month.
Chelsea was arrested in Marinette County on 10 September and charged with neglecting a child, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place, as well as four misdemeanour offences, including possession of THC, drug paraphernalia and illegally obtained prescription drugs, as well as disorderly conduct, In Touch magazine reports.
Police had been called after Chelsea argued with boyfriend Jacob Nelund and, upon arrival, cops noted her pupils were “dilated” and alleged she was “not being honest whatsoever”.
They found a meth pipe in her pocket and documented “horrible” living conditions inside her home, including drug paraphernalia “that a small child could have easily grabbed”.
Officers documented discovering “a black and silver digital scale, some used gem bags with white residue, and a sharps container that had more used and unused hypodermic needles” under her child’s crib.
One cop wrote: “Inside the bedroom that appeared to be designated as [the child’s] room, there were numerous used hypodermic needles.
“Several of them were loaded with blood. There were old apples, garbage, random tools, and butane bottles sitting on the floor, all mixed with the clothing belonging to [the child].”
There was also a “used meth pipe and a gem bag with meth in it” located in the couple’s bedroom.
The police report stated: “It appeared Jacob and Chelsea were more concerned with their drug addiction than providing [the baby] with a safe and clean environment.”
Following her arrest, Chelsea’s 11-month-old son Atlas was placed under the care of Jacob’s friends.
She was released on bail shortly afterwards but then arrested again on 10 October after being pulled over by cops.
As a result, on 11 October, she was further charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping, plus misdemeanour counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Chelsea – who has Skylar, five, Riley, three, and Avery, two, as well as Atlas – was booked into Oconto County Jail and will remain behind bars until her hearings on 4 and 7 November.
Following the news, Rosie – who adopted Chelsea when she was a baby with former partner Kelli Carpenter – shared an old selfie of her daughter and lamented her battle with addiction.
She wrote on Instagram: “Chelsea is in the news today — this is a photo from a better time.
“Sadly, this is not new for our family. Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade — we are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease.”
Rosie has four other adopted children, Parker, 29, Blake, 24, Vivienne, 21, and 11-year-old Dakota.

Liam Payne extended Argentina stay due to visa issue

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne was forced to extend his trip to Argentina due to issues with his visa.
The former One Direction singer – who died on Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from his hotel room balcony – needed to renew his “extraordinary achievement” documents in order to continue living in Florida with girlfriend Kate Cassidy, so decided to make a trip to Buenos Aires to watch former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert and to make his application at the US embassy there.
However, insiders explained Liam’s visa was initially refused because his abuse of drugs and alcohol meant he needed to undergo psychiatric and medical tests.
A source told MailOnline: “Liam had to get his US visa extended. He was on an O-1 visa, which is for artists, sportsmen and other people with extraordinary achievement.
“But one of the questions on the form asks, ‘Have you ever abused alcohol or drugs?’ Liam’s problems with drugs and alcohol are well documented.
“It is widely known that he had been to rehab in the US, so he had to tick the box, and because of this he had to have medical tests. He had to be checked out by a doctor and a psychiatrist.
“All this took time. So Liam was forced to stay in Buenos Aires longer than he had planned.”
According to the insider, the ‘Strip That Down’ hitmaker was given a clean bill of health after the testing and was due to collect his visa two days after he passed away.
The source added: “The results of the tests were good. Liam was 100 per cent sober.
“He was supposed to have a meeting at the embassy on Thursday and collect his visa on Friday.
“When I last spoke to Liam, I had no idea he that he was going to do anything stupid.”
Liam and Kate had flown into Argentina on 1 October, staying in a luxury Airbnb, but moved out when the singer’s visa application was delayed and their booking came to an end. The model flew back to the US on 12 October, leaving her boyfriend in Buenos Aires, where he checked into the CasaSur Hotel and tragically passed away there four days later.

Trailblazer Suzi Quatro had no idea she was paving the way for Debbie Harry and Joan Jett

OHMYGOSSIP — Suzi Quatro had no idea she was paving the way for artists including Blondie’s Debbie Harry and Joan Jett to embrace being “different”.
The 74-year-old musician – who scored a number of hits in the 70s, including ‘Can the Can’ and ‘Devil Gate Drive’ – didn’t realise the impact she was having on fellow female artists until after the release of the 2019 documentary ‘Suzi Q’, which documented the way she helped redefine the role of women in rock ‘n’ roll when she broke out in 1973.
Speaking to the December issue of Uncut magazine, she said: “I didn’t know I was unusual. I come from a musical family and I play the bass and I play rock’n’roll. I didn’t realise I was breaking ground for lots of women until the documentary [2019’s Suzi Q] came out. Woman after woman kept coming out – Debbie Harry, Chrissie Hynde, Tina Weymouth, KT Tunstall, Joan Jett… I was talking to my friend Cherie Currie from The Runaways over the phone from LA after, and I said, ‘I just realised something – by doing what I did, I gave permission to women all over the world to be different.’
“There was this long transatlantic pause, then she laughed and went, ‘And you only just got that?'”
The former Pleasure Seekers frontwoman was asked if artists like Taylor Swift “have it easy” with their big globe-trotting tours, as bands in her day were used to playing several shows a night, and she said she would jump at the chance to be in the pop superstar’s “shoes tomorrow”.
Suzi insists the key to surviving the road is “no sex, drugs and rock and roll”, looking after your voice and getting “at least nine hours'” shut-eye after a gig.
She said of Taylor’s ‘Eras Tour’ – which is the highest-grossing tour of all time, spanning five continents and 149 shows – that: “I would be in her shoes tomorrow, no problem! My generation grew up learning our craft on the five-shows-a-night circuit, which was pretty normal. But she will have it tough in her own ways. Within her three hours, she has dancing bears and jugglers and costume changes – she builds in her breaks, which is smart. But whatever size you are, you have to watch your voice all the time. Even in hot weather, I have a scarf around my neck.
I can’t have air conditioning as it dries out the throat.
“And no sex, drugs and rock and roll – can’t do it!
“Gotta get a minimum nine hours’ sleep after a show, or the first thing that happens? Your voice goes.”
