Rachel Bilson nothing like character in new movie

Rachel Bilson insists she’s nothing like her character in new movie Waiting For Forever. The film revolves around an actress named Emma who re-evaluates her life following the cancellation of a TV show on which she starred.

And while the plot seems to mimic Bilson’s life, the former O.C. star insists her personality could not be further from Emma’s.

“She has a wall up the entire time because she is trying to escape things and not deal with them,” Bilson said.

“When her show gets canceled, she doesn’t care because of everything else going on in her personal life. I loved The O.C. and saying goodbye to everybody was really hard.”

Bilson recently revealed that she’s brilliant when it comes to dealing with matters of the heart.

“I definitely think I am honest in a good way,” she said.

“I’ll tell my friends exactly what I think because it’s for their best interest. They don’t want to hear it always but they know I’m right, basically. Love is definitely complicated.

“I think you know pretty early on, there are those rare occurrences where you’re friends with someone for a long time and it blossoms into a romance, but I think you can tell when you [love] someone in the first few days or so.”
