OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Hauer isn’t ready to have children yet.
The 41-year-old dancer – who is best known as a professional on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – tied the knot with Jordan Wyn-Jones,34, in a secret ceremony in Hampshire last year and is fully immersed in her marriage but is taking things slow on the kids front because she is “happy” living with her husband and her dogs.
She told HELLO Magazine: “There’s always the possibility, but right now I’m really happy living in the moment with my husband and the dogs.”
The Venezuelan-American dancer – who was previously married to fellow dancer Matthew Hauer before divorcing in 2009 and former co-star Kevin Clifton from 2015-2018 – is hoping third time is the charm.
Karen went on to add that communication is the key to any happy marriage as she admitted to having “outside help” to make things in thei relationship “even better.”
She said: “I think communication is massive. But learning to communicate… we get outside help.
“It’s about dealing with things the right way and not just running away, and I guess that’s what makes us tick even better.
“So whenever we’re having tricky moments, it’s just seeing the vulnerable side of each other and understanding it. Nobody is perfect and there is no such thing as a happy marriage or a happy relationship with a perfect couple.”
Meanwhile, Karen is busy rehearsing for the upcoming series of the BBC ballroom competition but is saddened by the news that her co-star Amy Dowden would not be joining her as she undergoes treatment for breast cancer.
She said: “We think of Amy all the time and of how much she would love to be here with us. We’re always keeping in touch with her. And this one is definitely for her; all of this we’re doing, we’re doing it for her.”
