Remi Lambert will bring ‘goofy vibe’ to the Love Island villa

OHMYGOSSIP — Remi Lambert will bring a “goofy vibe” to the ‘Love Island’ villa.
The 22-year-old model – who hails from Manchester – is set to join the hit ITV2 dating show on Tuesday (14.06.22) as a bombshell arrival, and he’s vowed to inject some fun into the programme.
He said: “I feel like I’m going to bring the goofy vibe, the fun vibe that everyone needs, and a chilled person that everyone can talk to if anything is wrong.
“I’ll do random stuff like canoeing or a hot air balloon. I’m down for anything really.”
Remi also went on to explain that when it comes to looking for the right kind of girl he is “too picky” and has so far remained single out of choice after going on a lot of dates, but is now after something “more serious”.
He said: “[My dating history] is prestige! I think I’m single]by choice – I’m too picky. She needs to be 10/10 for everything. And I’m 6ft3”. I’d like a girl to be at least 5ft10! Recently I’ve been going on a lot of dates but I feel like now it’s time to find something more serious. I usually meet girls out and about on a night out. If I see a girl I like, I’ll just go over without hesitation and sometimes I meet girls through Instagram.”
What’s more, Remi confessed he signed up for the show after being inspired by the success of former contestants Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury.
He said: “I am single AF! When I saw Molly [Mae Hague] and Tommy [Fury] and saw how strong they are together, I thought, ‘I want a love like that.’ ”
Remi will be joined by another bombshell, 28-year-old investment analyst Jay Younger from Edinburgh, who teased that he would bring “a lot of laughs to the show”.
He said: “I think I am going to be a supportive Islander, I think I am going to bring a lot of fun. Hopefully some good laughs along the way and maybe some indecisive decisions.”
‘Love Island’ airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
The dating reality show can be seen in Ireland on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
