
Love Island’s Katie Salmon has given birth to a baby girl
OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Salmon has given birth.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who appeared on the ITV2 reality dating show in 2016 – and her fiance Harry are proud parents to a little girl, who they’ve named Thaiga, pronounced Tiger.
Sharing a series of pictures from her birthing experience and one of the newborn in a baby grow with “mummy and me” emblazoned across it and just the tot’s teeny feet on display, Katie announced on Instagram on Mother’s Day (27.03.22): “Am officially a Mummy!!!!
“Had some time off in my baby bubble but figured today would be the best day to let you all know. We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into this magical world. Thaiga Dean ( pronounced Tiger)
“I never thought I could feel this way, am completely in love and thought I had everything in life until she came. My life is complete.”
Thanking the NHS and her loved ones, she added: “And my fiancé who is just my rock, you are my dream, thank you for giving me the world. We got you forever!
“Going back into my bubble now I’ll be back soon but right now I’m just so content being with my little family and enjoying every second of this incredible blessing. Universe thank you for the greatest gift alive. My beautiful baby daughter.”
In January, Katie took to Instagram to reveal she was six months pregnant with her first baby.
Katie – who is planning to get married later this year – wrote: “Been Busy Creating Life
First came love, then came you! 6 months pregnant with our biggest blessing. I’ve kept this between close friends and family for a while but my beautiful baby bump is getting hard to hide. We love you so much already baby and cannot wait to meet you. I couldn’t do this journey with anybody else other than my best friend. 2022 my favourite year off all, The year I marry my love and we become a family. (sic)”
Harry wrote on his Instagram: “I got a feeling 2022 is going to be the best year of my life. I am great full to LIFE for blessing me with love. I can’t wait to meet you.”
Katie coupled up with Sophie Gradon – who died in June 2018 aged 32 – on ‘Love Island’ – making history as the show’s first-ever same-sex couple.
The star revealed on Christmas Day 2021 that Harry had popped the question.
She wrote on Instagram at the time “HE ASKED ME TO BE HIS WIFE My best friend, my twin flame, The love of my life asked me to marry him and made me the happiest girl alive!!!! My baby, we’ve been through so much together and built so much, I cannot wait to share this next chapter with you and take your hand in marriage forever. I love you so much I have no other words to say! The best Christmas … YES, YES YES (sic)”
