OHMYGOSSIP — Curtis Pritchard felt “a bit broken” before going on ‘Celebs Go Dating’.
The 24-year-old professional dancer – who split from his ‘Love Island’ 2019 love Maura Higgins last year – has admitted Anna Williamson, one of the dating agents on the E4 reality series, “saved [his] life” on the programme.
Speaking to the 39-year-old TV presenter, Curtis said: “I’m learning so much from you.
“Anna – you saved my life. Literally.”
Anna said: “You came in [to the ‘Celebs Go Dating’ mansion] like a lost puppy, and you came out like James Bond.”
Curtis added: “It’s so true. The James Bond bit I will take. The lost puppy … I didn’t know what to expect, and I was a little bit broken, let’s be honest.
“I really was.”
Anna admitted Curtis was “a bit busted” when he first appeared on the dating show, and she was desperate to give him a hug, but couldn’t due to the coronavirus pandemic guidelines.
She said: “I wanted to give you the biggest hug, and because we were socially isolating and distancing I couldn’t.
“But you were a bit busted, babes.”
Speaking on his and his brother AJ Pritchard’s ‘AJ vs Curtis’ podcast, Curtis added: “I was, but I’m not now.”
In November, Curtis admitted he felt “betrayed” by Maura and their ‘Love Island’ co-star Chris Taylor after the pair confirmed they were in a relationship.
He said: “I feel betrayed by them both – two people I was very close to.
“When I saw the pictures, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel hurt. I was upset. How long has this truly been going on for?”
The ‘AJ vs Curtis’ podcast episode with Anna Williamson is out now.
