OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Dawson has given birth.
The former ‘Celebs Go Dating’ star – the daughter of late comedy icon Les Dawson – and her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield welcomed a boy into the world on Tuesday (26.01.21) and according to proud dad Matthew both mother and baby are “doing well”.
He posted on Instagram: “Baby and mum doing well! Thanks for the messages.”
Earlier in the day, Matthew had posted an Instagram photo of Charlotte sucking on gas and air to relieve her labour pains from her hospital bed as he revealed that their child was on his way.
Matt captioned the post: “We’re all set ready for our little man!
“Charlotte’s waters broke at 4.30, so proud of my girl @charlottedawsy she’s a trooper.”
Charlotte also shared Matt’s post on social media, writing: “Just in labour my darlings. I can’t believe I did most of it at home … But thank you for all your messages, love you all x.”
Charlotte recently revealed that she plans to eat her placenta following the birth.
The TV personality explained that she has plans in place to freeze her placenta and send it off to be made into pills so she can reap the alleged health benefits of ingesting the micronutrients-rich birth by-product, which are said to include improving mood, increasing milk production and reducing the risk of postpartum depression.
Speaking in a Q&A on her Instagram Story, Charlotte said: “I’ve got a freezer bag for freezing my placenta ready. I’m getting it made into pills and tablets.”
