OHMYGOSSIP — Shane Richie joked that AJ Pritchard will “mess [his] hair up” during the latest ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ trial.
The 56-year-old actor – who played Alfie Moon in ‘EastEnders’ – jokes with AJ Pritchard as they both prepare themselves to take on the Chambers of Horror trial, which is being aired on Friday night (27.11.20).
After being informed that AJ is going first during the trial, Shane quips: “You’re going to mess your hair up! There goes the shampoo commercial!”
Then, Shane and AJ have 2,000 maggots and 1,000 mealworms poured over their heads.
During the trial, AJ was tasked with unscrewing stars using his tongue. However, his efforts are complicated by the presence of the creepy crawlies on his head.
In a teaser clip of the trial, Shane is seen encouraging his campmate, telling AJ at one point that he’s “smashing it”.
The latest trial will be aired shortly after Shane’s son asked ITV if it is “editing to cause tension” between his dad and AJ .
Shane Nolan took to Twitter to respond to a comment made by the show’s official social media account, which asked fans if they think “tension” between the campmates “is going to escalate”.
He said: “I know it’s a tv show but ur playing with peoples lives man. If their really is tension then I’m all for it. Or are you editing to cause tension ? That’s what I can’t agree with. I know it’s telly but theirs vile comments being thrown around and it’s not fair (sic)”
