OHMYGOSSIP — Giovanna Fletcher wants to win ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ to become an actress.
The 35-year-old author always had dreams of starring in her own show after attending a performing arts school, but she ultimately decided to write her best-selling books when she failed to get any auditions.
She said: “I started as an actress and I was bored of the phone not ringing so I started writing.”
Giovanna – who has Buzz, six, Buddy, four, and two-year-old Max with husband Tom Fletcher – has since earned recognition as the presenter on ‘ ‘The Baby Club’ on CBeebies and with her podcast ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby’.
The writer also dreams of opening her own florist shop but she knows her sons will cause havoc.
She explained to the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I kind of feel like acting is still something I’ll do, but the books, and everything, it’s all storytelling.
“Even the social media, the podcast, it’s storytelling … and I think maybe working in a florist, I think I’d like to have a florist. But the boys just aren’t into it. If they’re not running around jumping, they don’t want to be sat at a table arranging flowers with me.”
Meanwhile, Giovanna – who met Tom at school when she was a teenager – has admitted she didn’t know what would happen to their romance once his music career took off.
She previously said: “Around that time, Tom would be off on tour, playing with the guys, living the pop star lifestyle and I’d be in drama school playing a penguin.
“Our lives at one point were very different, but it’s strange to think that two kids when they’re 13 start a little romance and are now married with three kids, doing what we’re doing.”
