OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow would “never ever” take part in ‘I’m A Celebrity,..Get Me Out of Here!’
The 49-year-old singer is envious of the campmates taking part in this year’s ITV series, but he could never sign up for the show – which is usually held in the Australian jungle – because he has a fear of flies.
Speaking on Magic Radio, he said: “No, I’d never go on the show, ever. Never ever ever ever. Do you know what, I think the people who do it they’re so brave. Honest, I’m scared of flies, I mean I’d be absolutely rubbish, rubbish in there!”
The Take That star also claims that he would get extremely moody whilst living on rice and beans, and his presence wouldn’t make for entertaining TV.
He said: “I can be moody and it wouldn’t be good to watch. Honestly, I promise you now.”
Meanwhile, Gary previously starred as a judge on ‘The X Factor’.
But the pop star – who appeared on the show between 2011 and 2013 – later admitted he’d been warned against appearing on the ITV programme.
He said: “I’ve got a very healthy address book of TV professionals and I set about ringing every single one of them [about] ‘The X Factor’.
“To the last, they all said the same thing: ‘The only thing anyone cares about in that building is ‘The X Factor’. They won’t mind throwing you under the bus, using you to get a headline, feeding you a line that will end your career, as long as ‘The X Factor’ gets a mention.'”
