OHMYGOSSIP — Hrvy thinks Maisie Smith is “very beautiful”.
The 21-year-old singer has been romantically linked to the ‘EastEnders’ actress in recent weeks and while he admits she’s a “very lovely girl”, he’s insisted they’re both currently too busy with ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ to think about anything else.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly about the recent romance rumours, he said: “Lorraine, I would tell you if anything was going on – trust me I would. We are just friends. Because of the whole pandemic, no one can be within [two metres] of each other.
“But we are just friends, we are just dancing but she is a very lovely girl. Very talented, very beautiful, but for now we are just focusing on the old dancing.”
Hrvy is relishing his time on the BBC show and he’s already fallen in love with dancing.
The singer – who has been partnered with professional star Janette Manrara – said: “This has been one of the best experiences ever – I didn’t realise how much I loved dancing. It’s been a dream to be with Janette, but it’s been really hard as well.”
Janette, 36, is currently preparing to dance the salsa with Hrvy this weekend, and she’s hailed his approach to the show.
In fact, she can’t believe that he has so little dancing experience, given his impressive ability level.
She told ‘Lorraine’: “He works really really hard. He puts in all the hours that he possibly can … he is such an incredible student and he learns really really fast.
“I am still baffled that he has only been dancing for the last three years since he started his music videos.”
