OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Keegan was forced to stay away from the ‘Brassic’ set after she came into contact with someone who had coronavirus.
The 33-year-old actress is said to have missed one day of filming on the Sky comedy, and has been isolating for two weeks, but she didn’t contract Covid-19 herself.
A source told MailOnline: “Michelle had to take time away from the ‘Brassic’ set and has been laying low in Essex with her husband Mark Wright.
“She only missed one day of filming. But she needed to isolate after she came into contact with someone in Manchester who had it.
“Luckily it all happened very quickly and Michelle did not return to the ‘Brassic’ set before isolating. So it didn’t affect filming too much.”
And Michelle – who portrays cash-strapped mother Erin Croft on the show – is due to resume filming on the show later this week.
The source added: “She has spent the last two weeks in total isolation. She will go back to filming at the end of this week.”
This comes just two months after it was reported filming on ‘Brassic’ had been halted after a production team member showed coronavirus symptoms.
A source said in September: “The safety of the cast and crew is of the utmost importance so until bosses know it’s totally safe filming won’t be going ahead.
“It could be a fortnight before it starts again.
“Michelle was due to start filming this week but nothing is happening until they’re sure it’s safe.”
