OHMYGOSSIP — Zara Holland spent hours trying to convince Amy Hart to reject an offer to join ‘Love Island’.
The 25-year-old beauty previously starred on the ITV show and she’s admitted to trying to discourage Amy from following in her footsteps.
Recalling their chance meeting on-board a flight, Zara said: “I was, like, ‘Well, from my experience, I would probably advise that you don’t go on.”
Zara and Amy – who starred on the show in 2019 – chatted about ‘Love Island’ throughout their flight.
Zara told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “For seven hours, she grilled me on ‘Love Island’.
“She was like, ‘Should I do it or not?’ I said, ‘You’ve got the most amazing job.’ She was amazing at her job.”
Amy had been cabin crew for eight years, and Zara warned that the show would turn her life upside down.
Zara said: “I said, ‘If you’re going to go on, be prepared to a) only be in there a couple of days, b) never get your job back.’
“She’d worked her way up for years, and she said they’ve said that they would never accept her back.
“So I was like, ‘Do you really want that?’ She was like, ‘Yes I do, yes I do.’
“I was, like, ‘Well, from my experience, I would probably advise that you don’t go on.’
“I told her my experience very bluntly.”
Since leaving the ‘Love Island’ villa, Amy has starred on the ‘Loose Women’ panel and has also appeared in a theatre production.
Zara thinks she’s done extremely well for herself on the back of her experience on the ITV show.
She reflected: “Hats off to her, she’s loving life and she’s done extremely well.
“But I will always say, ‘God, if you’re going to go on, just remember that it’s a reality TV show. Be prepared for the crap that will come with it, no matter if you don’t do anything wrong on there.'”
