OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Bowen has enrolled in an interior design course to give her “something to work to” during lockdown.
The former ‘Love Island’ star – who married Alex Bowen after meeting him on the ITV2 dating show – set up a classroom in her home after signing up for the online course, and she is pleased to have had something to focus on amid the coronavirus pandemic.
When asked how she is coping with lockdown, she said: “I took a course on the internet for interior design, just to keep occupied.
“And give myself something to work to.”
Olivia admitted she and Alex have clashed at times during lockdown, but he usually knows when to give her some space.
The 27-year-old star explained: “Alex is great at noticing if I’m sad or down, and he knows when to give me space.”
Alex added: “I know when to stay out of that zone.”
Olivia said: “We’re quite good. We’ve had small arguments, and I’m quite stubborn.
“But it’s so normal, everyone argues. Especially in lockdown.”
The pair would love to have two children in the future, but they put their baby plans on hold during the pandemic because Olivia wouldn’t want to give birth without her mum around for support.
Speaking in a Q&A for Lovehoney’s Mind Blowing Valentine’s campaign, she said: “I’m quite an anxious person, so I just don’t think I could do it without my mum being around me and everyone around me.
“So that was the reason as to why we want to wait until the world kind of goes back to normal again.
“Then I can have people around me.
“I also got a horse, so I’m a bit busy with the horse.”
Alex, 29, said: “I think two kids. I’m an only child and I’ve always wanted a brother or sister.
“So it would be nice.”
