OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Walsh is set to become a grandfather.
The ‘Chase’ host will be a grandfather later this year, after his daughter Hayley revealed she is set to welcome a baby into the world.
Hayley, 39, is the eldest of Bradley’s children, and announced her pregnancy on Instagram alongside a sign which read “on maternity leave”.
She wrote: “Finding out we were expecting was just incredible, however being pregnant during this lockdown has been a little tricky at times.
“I’ve been spending the last few months frantically trying to learn as much as possible online.”
Bradley, 60, has Hayley from a relationship with Debby Parker, and is also father to 23-year-old son Barney, whom he has with his wife Donna Derby.
Meanwhile, the ‘Doctor Who’ star made his son – who stars with him in ‘Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad’ – a director of his company back in July last year, in order to give him “more responsibility”.
A source explained: “Bradley felt it was time for Barney to start taking on more responsibility.
“After the success of ‘Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad’, he wanted to put his son’s name in the title because the show has been such a success.
“He knows that pushing Barney to do more is a safe way to ensure their legacy as a telly pairing.”
Both series of the family travel programme have proven to be a hit with viewers, and in September, the show was named the winner of the Best Factual Show gong at the 2020 TV Choice Awards.
