OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Wood has got his Instagram account back a week after he was hacked.
The ‘EastEnders’ star celebrated the return of his account by sharing a video of himself sledging down a hill following the recent snowfall.
He wrote: “Getting my Instagram account back from the hackers feels like this!! Good to be back people (sic)”
The hackers took over Jake’s Instagram account last week, deleting his pictures and posting some of their own.
But he has started to share his own content with fans again.
Sharing an image of himself in a parka jacket, which he was gifted, he wrote: “Rebuilding this account one photo at a time (sic)”
Jake’s joy comes after he updated fans on Monday (25.01.21) about the situation, revealing at the time he hadn’t been granted access back into his account.
He wrote on Twitter: “So @instagram update. My account mrjakewood is still hacked after 6 days and I’m still trying to get it resolved (sic)”
On Sunday (24.01.21), he tweeted: “Still no nearer getting my @instagram account mrjakewood back yet (sic)”
Last week, Jake alerted his fans via Twitter that his account had been hacked and deleted, and he was “working on getting [his] Insta back”.
He tweeted: “Just to let you all know that my @instagram account @mrjakewood was hacked and then deleted last night and this Twitter account was hacked and I was frozen out. Just got this back. Working on getting my Insta back (sic)”
It came just two weeks after Jake slammed a “cretin” who attempted to impersonate him on Instagram.
The Max Branning star wrote: “It has come to my attention that this cretin @mr_jakewood is messaging a lot of my followers pretending to be me. Please report & block. Thanks (sic)”
