Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway has first day at her new high school

OHMYGOSSIP – Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway had her first day at her new school yesterday.

In July, Head of Communications at the Royal Court, Guri Ofstad Varpe, confirmed to the Norwegian News Agency “NTB” that Princess Ingrid Alexandra would attend the “study specialisation line” at the popular school of Elvebakken in Oslo.

The Princess will attend the school for the next three years before she possibly begins her education in the military or at a university. The line that the Princess has entered, study specialisation, is intended to prepare students for further studies at the university. The Princess must now decide which language she wants to learn, and the school offers Chinese, German, French and Spanish. She must also decide whether she wants to learn practical or theoretical mathematics.

Due to the coronavirus, the start of this school year will be somewhat different. The new students will only meet in small groups, and the meeting for the parents has been postponed. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit must, therefore, wait a long time before they have the opportunity to visit the Princess’s new school.

In 2019, it was announced that Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway had changed schools. The Royal Court said that the future queen would start the 10th grade at Uranienborg School in Oslo in August 2019. From 2014 to 2019, the Princess had been enrolled at Oslo International School at Bekkestua. Earlier, from 2010 to 2014, she attended Jansløkka School in Asker.

The Princess’s grandfather, King Harald, attended the Oslo Cathedral High School. This is possibly the most prestigious school in the capital with a history dating back to 1153. The King’s sisters, Princess Astrid and Princess Ragnhild, attended the now-closed Märthaskolen. Queen Sonja attended Bjørknes private high school in Oslo.

Princess Isabella of Denmark celebrates 12th birthday

OHMYGOSSIP – Princess Isabella of Denmark, the second child of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, celebrates her 12th birthday today. Images have been released to mark the occasion this morning by the Royal Danish House. They were taken by her mother, Crown Princess Mary.

The three photos show the Princess outdoors, and in one image, she’s seen with the family’s beloved dog.

On 21 April 2007, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark gave birth to her and Crown Prince Frederik’s second child. In October 2005, they had a son, Prince Christian, but this time, they had a baby girl at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen weighing 3350 gr. A 21-gun salute was fired the next day in celebration of the birth of a new princess.

Following the tradition of the Danish Royal Family, her name was not announced until her christening on 1 July 2007 in the chapel of Fredensborg Palace. Her name was announced then as Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella Henrietta Ingrid Margrethe. Her middle name of Henrietta was given to her in memory of her late maternal grandmother. Of course, her middle name of Margrethe was in honour of her paternal grandmother, the Queen of Denmark.

Princess Isabella’s godparents were named as Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark, Christian Buchwald, Peter Heering, Nadine Johnston and Marie Louise Skeel.

Her Royal Highness is third in line to the Danish throne after her father and older brother. She has two younger siblings – twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. On 29 April 2008, Queen Margrethe granted the title of Countess of Monpezat to Isabella when she granted the title to all of her male-line descendants.

She attends Tranegårdsskolen in Gentofte for her education and has since August 2013. Prince Christian also attends the school. At just 12, she doesn’t complete many official duties, but she does occasionally accompany her parents to events.

She was last seen on 16 April at Marselisborg Palace on the balcony to celebrate her grandmother, Queen Margrethe’s 79th birthday.

The 24-year-old singer is said to be engaged to her new beau Pete Davidson – whom she has only been dating for a few weeks – and it has now been reported that her dream is to have “winter wonderland” themed ceremony, which she has reportedly been talking to her pals about since she was a teenager, Elite Daily mediates.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid has seemingly confirmed she and Zayn Malik are back togther. The 23-year-old model attended the world premiere of ‘Ocean’s 8’ with her friend Lily Aldridge in New York on Tuesday (05.06.18) evening, and after the event, she headed home to spend some quality time with the singer, who she split from in March after two years together, iol.co.za mediates.

Exclusive! 11-year-old violinist Estella Elisheva acknowledges Estonian theatres

OHMYGOSSIP – Estella Elisheva is an 11-year-old girl from Tallinn who already knows today that in the future she will become a violinist. “I am very fond of music, especially classical music,” tells the young music friend from Tallinn Jewish School to OHMYGOSSIPteen.

„When I grow up I wish to become a violinist or an opera singer, or both. I would love to be a solo artist as well as perform with an orchestra. However, at the moment I am still very young and these are grand future plans. I like to practice, and sometimes my friend would not understand why I do not go out to play with them, it is because I practice.”

Estella Elisheva is a versatile girl and besides playing the violin she also has other hobbies. „I actually have quite many hobbies. I like to sing and for many years I have taken ballroom dancing lessons. And whenever I sing, I like to sing the opera. My voice breadth is quite good and it goes quite high up. For example the Phantom of the Opera I can sing up until the highest note. And it is a matter of practice, I have not trained my voice properly, only once in a while at home for my own sake. In addition to that I like art, drawing and theatre! The latter is really high standard in Estonia. Both Tartu and Tallinn theatres are visited by world renown artists and seeing them perform is very delightful. I sometimes skip a schoolday to go to the theatre or to practice the violin. I am looking forward to seeing the opera „Carmen” once more in Vanemuise theatre hall. And I wouldn’t get tired of seeing the Phantom of the Opera!”

Estella Elisheva, having given many minor concerts, says that a serious concert isn’t something she would consider before graduating from music school. „I publish posts of me playing the violin to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter and I am glad to see that many people like that, however, I still got the feeling that there is plenty, plenty of room for progress. Perhaps I am okay for an 11-year-old, but I wouldn’t wanna play the noted classics in a fashion that makes them turn in their grave,” laughs Estella Elisheva.

Ariel Winter taking a break from college: I just wanted to take a break to focus on myself and square some things with myself

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariel Winter is taking a break from college. The 20-year-old actress started studying political science at UCLA last year – after previously deferring for a year – but she is taking time off to “pursue” her acting career, HMVnews mediates.

She said: “I do love UCLA, but at the moment I’m taking a break from it so I can continue to pursue my career and also try to have a little bit more of a life because I’ve been so busy. That’s really it at the moment. But I think education’s really important. I love being there. I love learning. I will continue to keep learning and I just wanted to take a break to focus on myself and square some things with myself.”

Ariel Winter – who portrays Alex Dunphy in the comedy series – is hoping to broaden her horizons by appearing in further films. She said: “I would hope to do more movies. Really anything that comes my way that speaks to me or feels rights, something, a new character I haven’t done before. I’m pretty open. I like doing different things. I like trying things, so for me, it’s really whatever happens.”

Ariel’s latest motion picture sees her appear as wildchild Lil in ‘The Last Movie Star’, and she enjoys portraying characters who are different to her ‘Modern Family’ alter-ego.

Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, she added: “Doing something different is definitely intentional for me because I want to broaden my horizons and I want to do more movies and I would like to do different things, because I’ve been doing this show for 10 years next year. So I definitely want to do new things.”

ESTONIAN-born 11-year-old violinist Estella Elisheva captivates world music classics

Estella Elisheva, while charming hundreds thousands listeners with violin music already at the age of seven, remains modest and emphasizes that she does not wish to be anybody’s successor.

Estella Elisheva has by Swedish, Finnish, British and American media channels alike been titled today’s most gifted junior violinist and composer.
