‘We’ll see what happens next year!’ Dani Dyer drops engagement hint

OHMYGOSSIP — Dani Dyer has hinted her boyfriend Jarrod Bowen might pop the question next year.
The 27-year-old reality TV star – who has five-month-old twins Summer and Star with the West Ham United footballer, and two-year-old son Santiago with her ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence – admitted it is up to her pro footballer significant other whether they get engaged in 2024 or not.
She told Closer magazine: “That’s up to him [Jarrod]. We’ll see. We’ve just had twins, so we’ll see what happens next year.”
Dani isn’t the only one in her family who is enjoying her relationship with Jarrod.
Her dad, former ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer, is a huge West Ham fan, so Dani admits Jarrod is the boyfriend Danny has “always dreamed” of her having.
Former ‘Love Island’ star Dani said: “Having Jarrod Bowen as a son-in-law is an absolute bonus for my dad – he just loves Jarrod.
“He’s the boyfriend he’s always dreamed of me having, so him playing for West Ham was another tick.”
In June, Danny was delighted after Jarrod scored the winning goal in West Ham’s Europa Conference League final win over Italian team Fiorentina earlier that month.
Sharing a photo of Jarrod with the trophy on Instagram, Danny wrote: “F****** perfect.”
Dani posted a picture of her man’s post-match interview on her own account and shared a heart emojis as she added: “So proud.”
Hammers fans have come up with an X-rated chant for Jarrod. They reference his relationship with Dani as they sing: “Bowen’s on fire, and he’s s******* Dani Dyer.”

Shaun Wallace joins cast of adult pantomime Jack And His Giant Bigstalk

OHMYGOSSIP — Shaun Wallace has joined the cast of adult pantomime ‘Jack And His Giant Bigstalk’.
The ‘Chase’ quizzer will appear in the former ‘Big Brother’ star Simon Gross’ panto for a performance on December 11th.
Simon will portray Queen Genetalia in the adult show, which is on at The Prince of Wales on London’s Drury Lane from December 8th to 22nd.
Kitty Hosty also appears in the panto, as Jill, while Lewis Adey plays Jack, and Monroe Adams takes on the role of Fairy Barbie.
Joseph Greenwood has been cast in the role of Daisy the Cow and Tom White will portray Dame Trott in the upcoming production.
In August, Shaun told how he doesn’t take ‘The Chase’ for granted.
He has served as a quizzer on the hit ITV teatime gameshow alongside the likes of Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha and Mark Labbett since 2009, but admitted he is always hoping his contract is renewed because he is “only as good as” his last correct answer.
Shaun was quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column as saying: “Hopefully, once my contract ends, they will renew it.
“I don’t take that for granted. I am only as good as the last question I’ve answered correctly!”
Away from ‘The Chase’, Shaun has held a career as a barrister for more than 30 years and recently explained that while other Chasers have taken on reality TV appearances, he is not that “type of guy”.
He said: “I do get the offers but I’m not a reality type of guy. I still practise as a barrister and there is a limit to what I will do.
“The last reality-type challenge I did was ‘Don’t Rock The Boat’, and that was a physical challenge where myself and seven other celebs rowed the length of Britain.
“I’ll do something like that but any other type of reality show is not really for me. If ‘Celebrity SAS’ asked me five years ago I probably would have done it but not with my knees now. Yes, people recognise who I am – I can’t help that fact – but I can’t use my fame to get a required result. I can’t change the evidence.
“I’ve been a barrister for 38 years, a Chaser for 13 years.”

Nia DaCosta ‘wanted to create’ the MCU’s shortest-ever movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Nia DaCosta wanted ‘The Marvels’ to be “under two hours”.
The 33-year-old director’s new superhero film is Marvel’s shortest-ever movie – but Nia doesn’t have any regrets about her decision.
Nia – whose new movie runs for just 105 minutes – told Digital Spy: “I really wanted it to be under two hours.
“I always think about the runtime actually, when I go into a film. I just feel like there’s no need to have it long if you don’t need to, because 1 hour 45 minutes is pretty average for a movie, so we were all really excited.
“I just think you do what’s right for the movie. I didn’t even know about this runtime thing until I think it was reported on. You have to do what’s right for the movie.”
‘The Marvels’ stars the likes of Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton and Lashana Lynch, and Nia feels particularly proud of the movie’s unique fight scenes.
The director said: “We get to add to that history, that [Marvel is] starting to really dig into now, like women beating the s*** out of each other.
“We do a lot [of that] in this film, which is really exciting for me, because I love fight scenes. I was very excited to do it.
“I think the main fight scene, I’m really proud of. It’s something you haven’t seen before in the MCU, because of the nature of it, the switching.”
Meanwhile, Iman recently admitted that she relished working with Nia.
The 21-year-old actress explained that the director has a “really calm vibe”.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Iman added: “These movies are not easy to make at all. There’s like a million, bajillion little moving pieces.”

King Charles pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth at first King’s Speech in 73 years

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles paid tribute to his late mother, Queen Elizabeth, as he gave the first King’s Speech in 73 years.
The 74-year-old British monarch and his wife Queen Camilla, 76, travelled from Buckingham Palace to the House of Lords in Westminster in the Diamond State Coach for The State Opening of Parliament on Tuesday morning (07.11.23).
The last King’s Speech was read by Charles’s grandfather George VI in 1950.
The king, who wore the Imperial State Crown, a crimson Robe of State and Admiral of the Fleet Royal Naval uniform, spoke of the late sovereign’s “legacy of service and devotion” in his first speech as monarch, before going on to highlight the “significant long-term challenges” the country faces following the COVID pandemic, the ongoing war in Ukraine and the current cost of living crisis.
He began: “My lords and members of the House of Commons.
“It is mindful of the legacy of service and devotion to this country set by My beloved Mother, The late Queen, that I deliver this, the first King’s Speech in over 70 years. The impact of COVID and the war in Ukraine have created significant long-term challenges for the United Kingdom. That is why my government’s priority is to make the difficult but necessary long-term decisions to change this country for the better.”
The last time a monarch wore the Imperial State Crown at a State Opening was in 2016.
Camilla chose to re-wear her Coronation gown by Bruce Oldfield with the George IV State Diadem.
Although it was his first speech as monarch, the then-Prince of Wales and the then-Duke of Cambridge read the Queen’s Speech for the opening of Parliament last year.
Elizabeth II had been advised to rest at home on doctor’s orders.
The late monarch died just a few months later aged 96 in September 2022.
It was also a first for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who stood next to the Leader of the Opposition Sir Keir Starmer for the duration of the event.

Keanu Reeves ‘pitched ideas for John Wick’s death’

OHMYGOSSIP — Keanu Reeves pitched ideas for John Wick’s death after just two instalments of the film franchise.
The 59-year-old actor has played the former hitman in four ‘John Wick’ movies – but he’s been thinking about his possible exit for years.
Basil Iwanyk, who has served as a producer on the franchise, told Screen Rant: “These movies are … it beats the crap out of Keanu, right? Physically. In ways that I don’t think people can ever understand because it’s not just a shoot.
“He’s training three, four, five months before. And in every part of it, it’s a little bit of the Danny Glover in ‘Lethal Weapon’, like, ‘I’m getting too old for this s***.’ And on every movie he’s like, ‘This is when I die. I’m done.’
“We always shoot options. We shoot one that he’s completely alive, one that is a little vague, and one that he’s dead. You know what I mean?”
Keanu even proposed a particularly gruesome death for his on-screen character at one point in time. However, the producers rejected the idea out of hand.
Basil shared: “I remember, I think it was on ‘John Wick 2’, he was like, ‘Here’s what happens. They cut my head off. They cut my head off.’ And I’m just like, ‘There’s no chance you’re getting your head cut off.'”
Earlier this year, Keanu suggested that he could revive the character one more time.
Asked if John Wick could make a comeback, Keanu told Entertainment Weekly: “I don’t know, I guess I’m going to have to lean on never say never.
“I mean, I wouldn’t do a John Wick film without Chad Stahelski. We’d have to see what that looked like. For me, it feels really right that John Wick finds peace.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Boy George is joining ‘Moulin Rogue! The Musical’ on Broadway next year.
The Culture Club frontman will play Harold Zidler, the owner of the Paris nightclub who acts as a de facto emcee in the musical, and he can’t wait to tread the boards.
Boy George, 62, told NBC’s ‘Today’ show: “Just being part of an ensemble is really fun. You can’t have an ego, because there’s too many people. It’s about fitting in, especially because everyone’s been doing this show for a while. So, hopefully, they’re going to teach me.”
The ‘Karma Chameleon’ hitmaker will take over the part from Eric Anderson who returns to the role December 19 through February 4 following Tituss Burgess’ stint as Zidler.
Boy George’s tenure begins on February 6 and ends May 12 at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Gwyneth Paltrow reveals one actor who could tempt her back to Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow thinks Robert Downey Jr. could convince her to return to acting.
The 51-year-old star stepped away from the film industry after 2019’s ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and has since been fully focused on wellness brand Goop, with no desire to get back in front of the camera.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “Well, it would be very hard for me to do any acting right at the moment, just because of my job.
“But, I guess Robert Downey Jr. could probably always get me back. You know, to some degree. [laughs]”
She and Robert have been close for years after appearing in several movies as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including all three ‘Iron Man’ films, as well as some of the ‘Avengers’ flicks and Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man’ movies.
However, Goop has taken over as the company has continued to grow, and she is focused on her business career.
She added: “It’s taken a lot of hard work and perseverance, but you know, I do it with so much love, and so I’m glad to see that we’ve been able to build year over year. It’s thrilling.”
Gwyneth recently admitted she is actually weighing up whether to vanish from the public eye if she does a deal to sell the company one day.
She told Bustle magazine: “I might be like, ‘F*** this.’ I might just disappear, and no one will ever see me again.”
And while talking about getting “no” pleasure from the public aspect of her life, she added: “I will literally disappear from public life. No one will ever see me again.”
Gwyneth admitted activities including “creating, collaborating, being struck with new ideas, innovating, thinking ahead, strategy, vision” does give her satisfaction.
She did not elaborate on plans to sell Goop and she admitted she currently has “no idea” who would buy it.

Katie Price’s mum slams her daughter’s ‘very bad choices’ in men

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price’s mum Amy has branded all of her daughter’s boyfriends “clones of each other”.
The former glamour model, who is currently with on/off partner Carl Woods, has been married three times before and had several failed romances – and Amy thinks she would be better off finding a “proper man” rather than a “young, pretty boy”, or being single.
Katie was married to ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker Peter Andre from 2005 until their divorce in 2009 and they became parents to two children together – 18-year-old son Junior and 16-year-old daughter Princess.
The reality star was later married to Alex Reid from 2010 to 2011, and she was wed to her unfaithful husband number three Kieran Hayler – the father of her 10-year-old son Jett and nine-year-old daughter Bunny – from 2013 until 2021.
Katie is also mum to son Harvey, 21, whose father is former footballer Dwight Yorke.
And her mother admits Katie has made some “very bad choices” with her men and wishes she’d stop going for the same type.
Amy told new! magazine: “When it comes to men, she’s made some very bad choices.
“In fact, we’re now at the stage where we don’t talk about the men in her life.
“To us, it’s so boring.”
She added: “They’re all clones of each other.
“We, as a family, say to her, ‘When are you going to stop going for good-looking, young, pretty boys and go for a proper man instead?
“In some ways, she’s better off being single and maybe having someone to take her out every now and then.”
As a child, Katie couldn’t care less about men, but her “troubles with boys” started when she was a teenager.
Amy recalled: “She was very shy and didn’t really say much, to be honest, but she was into her horses.
“She really wasn’t interested in boys until about 15 or 16. It was only as she got older when the troubles with boys started.
“When she was younger, she actually wanted to be a policewoman or a paramedic or a nurse.”

Jeremy Allen White reflects on ‘terribly low lows’ after difficult year

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Allen White has suffered “a lot of terribly low lows” this year.
The 32-year-old star has reflected on a difficult period as his life has been thrust into the public eye, with his wife Addison Timlin filing for divorce in May after three years of marriage.
Speaking to December/ January issue of British GQ magazine, he said: “It’s been insane, a lot of high highs, a lot of terribly low lows.”
The ‘Bear’ actor also reflected on the backlash over his comments on Alexa Demie’s Calvin Klein shoot in August when he commented “wow” underneath a video of her posing in underwear sets for a new campaign.
He has insisted it was meant to be an innocent comment complimenting the shoot.
He revealed he called his publicist at the time, adding: “I was like, ‘I just need to shut the f*** up. I just shouldn’t say anything’. And she was like, ‘Kind of.’ ”
Jeremy – who has daughters Ezer Billie, four, and Dolores Wild, three, with ex Addison – also recalled a moment he tried to get on board with a Marvel-style movie but his “attitude” cost him the role.
He said: “I had a meeting for a kind of Marvel-y movie, and I had an attitude. I think I played it all wrong.
“‘Tell me about why I should do your movie.’ They were like, ‘F*** you, and I was like, ‘Right on.’ ”
He’s currently taking a break from Hollywood to focus on himself and be around his daughters.
He explained: “With everything going on in my personal life, I thought, ‘OK, let’s just pump the brakes in general, and maybe you don’t work for a while’.
“I made this choice to not work for the rest of the year and just be with my daughters and just slow it all down.”
Working with Steven Spielberg would have been an exception, although he doesn’t think it’s particularly likely.
He confessed: “I don’t think he’s going to be knocking.”
Jeremy will be toasted at the annual GQ Men Of The Year Celebration 2023 in association with BOSS in London on November 15.

Emilia Wickstead to design new uniforms for Air New Zealand

OHMYGOSSIP — Emilia Wickstead will design the new uniforms for Air New Zealand staff.
The renowned designer is collaborating with the airline to revamp the clothes worn by the company’s 5,000 employees working as cabin crew workers, pilots and ground staff.
Speaking to WWD, the New Zealand native said: “This project means everything to me. It’s such a passion project.
“I have huge nostalgia in relation to the way that I grew up and the person, who I am today.
“Basically, New Zealand has shaped me into the person that I am today.”
Wickstead’s journey into the world of fashion started in the suburbs of Auckland, where her mother, Angela, began a made-to-measure fashion line following the passing of Wickstead’s artist father. Even though her teenage years led her to Milan, she never lost sight of her New Zealand heritage.
Leanne Geraghty, Air New Zealand’s chief customer and sales officer, highlighted that the collaboration represents the airline’s “premium with a wink” style. Wickstead’s designs will replace the current uniforms, created by Trelise Coope, after a decade. The uniform refresh aligns with the airline’s efforts to spruce up various aspects, including cabin spaces, check-in areas, and airport lounges. Geraghty emphasized the aim to have uniforms that resonate with modern air travel, while setting Air New Zealand apart on the global stage.
As a designer, Wickstead finds inspiration in the past and the power of dressing up. Her new venture follows suit, bringing confidence, empowerment, and impeccable style.
She said: “It’s really about the people, what their needs are, what’s going to empower them and make them feel proud. You will see different twists, elements and messages through the designs, and also elegance, a great fit and timelessness.
“The uniforms will centre on the deep respect for New Zealand’s heritage, the people, the stories and the sacred land that make up our cultural identity (through the use of bold colours, prints and details.) I also want it be inspirational so that the workers wearing the uniforms will have feel a built-in sense of pride and occasion.”

She said: “Most of us have a festive jumper somewhere in our wardrobe, and if not, why not borrow one from a friend? I’m always letting friends borrow my clothes, and they let me borrow theirs in return.

‘I’ve had Swarovski figurines and crystals my whole life…’ Kim Kardashian reveals collectible she can’t get enough of

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian collects Swarovski figurines because she is obsessed with crystals.
The SKIMS founder, 43, has collaborated with the Austrian jewellery brand for her latest collection, and she has revealed that she has been collecting Swarovski statues her “whole life”.
In an interview with ELLE, she said: “I’ve had Swarovski figurines and crystals my whole life. Whenever I use crystals, they’re always Swarovski. To this day, my kids even get me the Swarovski figurines for Mother’s Day, because they know how much I love the crystals.”
The popular shapewear brand joined forces with Swarovski’s creative genius, Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert to design an exclusive collection of body-contouring jewellery and shapewear adorned with crystals.
Kim admits the collaboration has been a dream come true because she’s “always been a Swarovski girl”.
She added: “This collaboration was a natural pairing and dream for me, as I’ve always been a Swarovski girl. The Swarovski crystals and the glamour of the brand make me feel so happy, and I hope our customers feel the same way when wearing the collection. Merging jewellery design and ready-to-wear is something I’ve always wanted to do, so pairing Swarovski’s expertise in crystals and jewellery and Skims’ innovative fabrics made total sense.
“I don’t have one favourite piece, because I love the head-to-toe Swarovski x Skims looks that can be created from layering the ready-to-wear that’s covered in hundreds and hundreds of crystals with the intimates and the body jewellery. My favourite from the campaign was when we styled the classic Skims cotton fabric intimates under the sparkly stretch net dress and body jewellery. I love pairing the sportier cotton pieces with the sparkle and extravagance of the dress drenched in crystals with jewellery.”
