Little Mix split from Syco

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix have split from Simon Cowell’s record label.
The girl group – who were signed to Syco after winning reality TV show ‘The X Factor’ in 2011 – have parted ways with the label after a row between Syco and their management company Modest.
A Syco spokesperson told The Sun: “Syco Music will no longer work with Modest Management and therefore any artists signed to that management company.
“We do, of course, wish all artists affected by this decision every future success. Consequently, LM5, the forthcoming Little Mix album A&R’d and released on Syco Music, is to be serviced by RCA at the request of Syco and Simon Cowell.”
The split is shocking as it comes just before the release of Little Mix’s eagerly anticipated album ‘LM5’.
The group are staying within the Sony family and will move to RCA.
Jesy Nelson hinted at turmoil with Syco when she liked an Instagram post, which read: ” “They’re gonna leave Syco and then tell us what s**t Syco put them through.”
Meanwhile, the band have teamed up with songwriters including Ed Sheeran, Jess Glynne and Timberland on the new album.
Jade Thirlwall recently revealed they wrote ‘Woman’s World’ as a direct response to the scandal surrounding Hollywood.
She said: “So we wrote this song when the whole #MeToo movement was coming about. You know … I was so angry about what was going on. It was important to write it with [producer Jez Ashurst], who’s a man. It holds an important message.”
And the singer said the girl group haven’t written anything “that’s too controversial” yet but are starting to be increasingly “more honest” in their songs.
She added: “We haven’t written anything that’s too controversial before, and now we’re starting to write things that are slightly more honest. We want to be a bit more ballsy and say, ‘yeah, it is hard to be a woman.'”

Jamie Dornan vacations with Eddie Redmayne

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Dornan and Eddie Redmayne go on vacation together.
The ‘My Dinner With Herve’ star – who has daughters Dulcie, four, and Elva, two, with his pregnant wife Amelia Warner – lived with the ‘Theory of Everything’ star when they were starting out as actors and they have retained a close friendship.
Discussing his friendship with Eddie – who has children Iris, two, and Luke, eight months, with his wife Hannah – Jamie said: “Back then we were just starting out, in our early 20s, these scraggy kids rocking around London unemployed. And then you go through everything that’s going to happen, and having kids. Our kids are a bit older than his, so we’re not exactly doing play dates. But we do go on holiday.”
Jamie is also good friends with his ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ director Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband Aaron – who have daughters Wylda, eight, and six-year-old Romy together – and they spend a lot of time together.
In an interview with Red magazine, he said: “Sam and Aaron and the kids, they’re very, very close friends of ours still. We see them all the time when they’re in the UK or we’re in LA. But that’s one of the things I love about this job – you spend so much time with people and they become great mates.”
Sam – who also has Angelica, 21, and Jessie, 13, with ex-husband Jay Jopling – quit the ‘Fifty Shades’ franchise after just one movie due to differences with her and writer E. L. James, but Jamie had a great experience working with her, and is pleased that he can say that about all the directors he’s collaborated with.
He said: “I’ve been lucky, I can’t think of one that I wouldn’t work with again.”

Holly Willoughby ‘looking after’ I’m A Celeb for Ant

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby insists she is just “looking after” ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ for Ant McPartlin.
The 37-year-old TV presenter has taken over as co-host of the show from her pal after he took time off following his drink-driving conviction earlier this year but Holly says Ant will definitely be back with presenting partner Declan Donnelly next year.
She told The Sun: “It’s totally unexpected to do this. You didn’t really want to have to be asked to do the show, it’s a weird one. I’m just looking after it until he gets back. It’s lovely that he trusted me with it. It’s much easier if you work with somebody who is a friend. When you genuinely get on on-screen, it’s going to work. It’s unsurprising.”
And she admitted she is not too worried about her role as she believes the celebrity contestants are the stars of the show.
She said: “It’s an easier job in some respects because it’s the celebrities that make the show. Dec and I are just presenting it to you and it’s all the stuff that goes on in the show that makes it a good series.
“Yes, it’s going to be different obviously, but actually we’re quite a small part of what makes the show, so I’m not too worried.”
Holly recently admitted she is “excited” about the challenge but isn’t looking forward to the creepy crawlies.
She added: “I’m really excited, I can’t wait to go. I’m scared of everything, but it’s not for me to be worried about that, that’s for the celebrities to be worried about, they’ve signed up for that so it’s their problem, not mine.
“If anything lands on me I’m not going to like that very much, I’m not a fan of the uninvited guests but I’m ready to go and I’m excited for the adventure.”
Meanwhile, presenter Eamonn Holmes promised ‘I’m A Celebrity’ fans that Holly “isn’t going to steal” Ant’s job as he takes time off to deal with his sobriety.
He said: “No-one in any way thinks Holly is going out there to steal Ant’s job, so I don’t think there’s any suspicion of that.
“I think it’s a perfect fit … because Dec and her are such good friends, and the fact that it’s not another bloke there, cushions the blow somewhat.”

Keira Knightly looks like ‘pink cake’ in The Nutcracker

OHMYGOSSIP — Keira Knightley looks like a “big pink cake” in her new movie ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’.
The 33-year-old actress portrays the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Disney flick and she “really enjoyed” her outlandish appearance in the film.
She said: “I look like a big pink cake. It’s an intentional pink cake, mind you, and I really enjoyed being it. But it’s definitely a pink cake.”
Keira – who has three-year-old daughter Edie with husband James Righton – jumped at the chance to star in the movie because she was looking for a “silly” project following a recent spate of “very serious” films.
She said: “I’ve been doing a lot of very serious work lately. I have a couple of films coming out in the next year which are very emotional and all the rest of it and I fancied doing something that was very, very silly and really off the wall. And this is both of those things.”
Keira has been a fan of the original ballet since childhood – but she always “hated” the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she admitted: “I went to see ‘The Nutcracker’ for the first time when I was three and I was so terrified of the rats that I hid under my seat.
“And then my mum took me to see it again when I was about six or seven, and by that time I wanted to be one of the rats. Everybody was meant to like the Sugar Plum Fairy and I hated her. But it’s OK in this film because there’s a little twist on the character.”

Jaymi Hensley helped George Shelley come out

OHMYGOSSIP — Jaymi Hensley helped George Shelley come out.
The 25-year-old singer has revealed that when he was part of boy band Union J he was worried about revealing he was gay, but his already out bandmate took him under his wing because although “it was an unsaid thing” Jaymi knew George was also homosexual.
In an interview with Gay Times magazine, George said: “I was worried, but I think the negative chatter in my head and the things that were convincing me that it was a bad decision were the outside voices manifesting in my head.
“He [Jaymi] knew. It was an unsaid thing. It wasn’t until later on in our career – the back end of it. People knew, and then I started going out Jaymi would take me to these clubs and people would see me with these guys.”
The ‘Loving You Is Easy’ hitmaker also revealed that one of the reasons he felt uncomfortable coming out was because he didn’t want to “jeopardise” his career as union J’s music was largely aimed at young girls.
He said: “I’d be kissing these guys on nights out like any other 20-year-old would do when you’re experimenting, and that’s absolutely OK. But because of the situation I was in – in the public eye selling records aimed at young girls – I feel like I was made to believe, and made to think, because of these things I was told and the way I was conditioned, that it would’ve jeopardised the band’s career. And in turn jeopardise my own.”

Jacob Tremblay’s 100k Shining role

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacob Tremblay has landed a $100,000 role in ‘The Shining’ sequel.
The 12-year-old actor – who shot to fame in critically acclaimed movie ‘Room’ – has landed a role in ‘Doctor Sleep’, an adaptation of Stephen King’s book of the same name, which is a follow up film to 1980 horror movie ‘The Shining’.
According to TMZ, Jacob will be paid $100,000 for his new role.
Ewan McGregor will star as Danny Torrance in the upcoming film and has been claimed that King gave his blessing to cast McGregor in the lead role.
Danny – the son of Jack Nicholson’s alter-ego Jack Torrance – was played by Danny Lloyd in ‘The Shining’, which was based on the author’s 1977 book, but in ‘Doctor Sleep’ he is an adult going by the name of Dan who, along with his mum Wendy, is still psychologically troubled by the events at the Overlook Hotel.
Dan has been attempting to dull his “shining” powers – psychic abilities which allowed him to see the hotel’s terrifying past in the first film – with copious amounts of alcohol, but they will return in ‘Doctor Sleep’, and he finds out a young girl also has similar abilities.
As well as this, Dan has to deal with alcoholism and rage he inherited from his father.
Mike Flanagan will direct the forthcoming film, with Trevor Macy and Jon Berg set to produce.
‘The Shining’ – which was directed by Stanley Kubrick and starred Shelley Duvall as Wendy – has become a horror classic, despite initially appearing to disappoint at the box office, earning $44 million.

Spice Girls add four new tour dates

OHMYGOSSIP — The Spice Girls have added four extra dates to their UK reunion tour.
The girl group will reunite as a quartet – without Victoria Beckham – for a stadium tour next year and they have added to their original six dates after huge demand when the tickets went on sale.
Two news dates each in Manchester and London have been added for fans.
Meanwhile, Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton recently admitted they never asked Victoria to join the reunion tour because they “assumed” she’d be unavailable.
Mel C admitted: “Do you know what is actually quite funny? I saw Victoria recently and obviously we’ve all been in contact.
“She is still very much a part of the Spice Girls, she really supports us and we really support her.
“But she did raise the point that she was never actually asked. We just presumed.”
Geri admitted they all “knew” Victoria wouldn’t want to be involved because she’s “moved on” and is very busy with her fashion empire.
She said: “I spoke to her before the announcement and she has said it for years that she just doesn’t want to do it anymore, so we knew that.
“She just didn’t want to do it… She was busy with her fashion and she has moved on. The philosophy of us lot is that we are a band, on and off the stage and we care each other, we support each other and we support her and she has been a huge part of our lives and we care about her so it’s all good.”
And the ‘Wannabe’ group admitted they knew Victoria wouldn’t have enjoyed the tour because she doesn’t like performing anymore.
Geri said: “No [she didn’t] and you don’t want to make somebody do something they don’t want to do.”
Emma added: “We knew that a while back that she didn’t enjoy that so much.”
However, the ‘Stop’ hitmakers still won’t rule out hope that Victoria will join them for at least one show on the tour.
Mel B said: “I’m always hopeful. I love the Spice Girls, they are my girls and I would love nothing better than all five of us to be together so I always put it out there but I’m happy with four too.”

Keira Knightley’s girl crushes

OHMYGOSSIP — Keira Knightley says she has had “girl crushes”.
The 33-year-old actress – who is married to musician James Righton – filmed a number of lesbian scenes for her new movie ‘Colette’ and says she was brought up with the idea that “every sexuality is accepted”.
She told the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine: ‘I’ve always had friends from the LGBTQ+ community, although bloody hell, I wish they’d come up with a shorter name for it! And I’ve had girl crushes – I’m not saying who. My husband wouldn’t appreciate it!
“I never had an ‘A-ha!’ moment that homosexuality was OK, it’s how I’ve always lived.
“My mum used to arrange marches in Scotland campaigning for homosexual freedom because Scotland had rules against it much later than England.
“She’d always get together with what would now be called LGBTQ+ communities to protest.
“At home my brother and I were surrounded by the idea that every sexuality was accepted, that you were not allowed to say what anyone could or could not do, that what happened between consenting adults was always natural.”
Keira has daughter Edie with James and says it is her own relationship with her playwright mother Sharman Macdonald is the reason she continued to work after Edie was born.
She said: “My mum always worked when I was small,’ she has said, ‘and she has a thing about me continuing to work. A lot of my sense of self came from being so proud of her for having that ethic.
“After you’ve had a child, there’s a feeling of not giving a f***!.
“Take Colette, for instance. We worked very hard, we all believe in it, and if it does well that’s great. But if it doesn’t, it’s not the end of my world.
“As long as my daughter is cool and doing well, and my husband’s good and my family’s good, everything is good.”

Iggy Azalea and Cher’s homes at risk from wildfires

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea and Cher’s homes are in danger of burning down.
While stars including Lady Gaga and the Kardashians have been forced to evacuate their homes due to the raging wildfires in California, Iggy and Cher have revealed that their abodes could be in danger.
Iggy tweeted: “Iam genuinely concerned about my home burning down it’s right on the canyon in calabasas and I can’t get home to any of my things right now (sic).”
And Cher wrote: “I’m worried about my house, but there is nothing I can do. Friends houses have burned.
“I can’t bear the thought of there being no Malibu I’ve had a house in Malibu since 1972 (sic).”
Meanwhile, Martin Sheen has confirmed he is safe after his son Charlie Sheen feared he was missing in the wildfires.
Martin and his wife Janet live in Malibu, parts of which have been evacuated due to the fires, and son Charlie had issued a desperate plea for them to get in touch.
The 53-year-old actor tweeted: “I cannot get ahold of my parents Martin and Janet Sheen.
“They are in the group, at the staging ground near Zuma Beach. If anyone has eyes on them, please let me know that they are safe and sound in the middle of this horrific scenario.”
However, Martin sent a message to his children via a Fox 11 news crew and said: “Emilio, Ramon, Renee, Charlie, we’re fine. We’re at Zuma Beach and we’re probably going to sleep in the car tonight. We’re just fine. We hope you are too and thank this good man for giving the opportunity to make contact with you guys.
“This is the worst fire I’ve seen. I’ve never seen one with this intensity, for this long, that took out so much property and caused such havoc.”
Caitlyn Jenner has also confirmed she is safe after it was reported her home was torched in the Californian wildfires.
The 69-year-old reality star – who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner – took to Instagram to reassure her fans that she had safely evacuated her home in Southern California amid the raging Woolsey fire, which reportedly consumed her Malibu Hills property.
In the video – which featured Caitlyn and her close friend Sophia Hutchins – the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star said: “Hi! Caitlyn and Sophia here! Well, we’re safe. Don’t know if the house made it or not, it’s still up in the air.”
Caitlyn also confirmed that her pet dogs are safe too, as she showed them playing around in a swimming pool behind her.
She added: “[They’re] having a good day – I don’t think we’re having that good of day.”

Mario Falcone becomes a dad

OHMYGOSSIP — Mario Falcone has become a dad.
The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star has taken to Instagram to reveal that his fiancee Becky Meisner gave birth to their son on Friday (09.11.18).
He wrote: “Happy to announce the birth of our beautiful little boy PARKER JAX FALCONE.
“Weighing 7lbs 4oz. Both mummy and baby are fine. He is absolutely perfect! (sic).”
Becky wrote on her own page: “So happy to announce the birth of our little perfect son. Parker Jax Falcone, 7lb 4oz, Friday 9th November 9.47pm.”
The couple were set to tie the knot later this year but were forced to postpone their wedding after they found out they were expecting their first child while on holiday in Barbados back in March.
Becky previously said: “We were trying for a baby for a while last year but it wasn’t happening, so we decided to stop for a bit. Then a few months later I fell pregnant!”
Mario added: “We weren’t taking any precautions, but we had stopped trying so obsessively. It was getting quite stressful so we decided we needed to relax a bit. But as soon as we went back to just having fun, she fell pregnant!
“It’s been my dream to be a dad for a long time now, so I’m over the moon.”
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star proposed to Becky last year in Santorini and they were planning to get hitched in August – having one ceremony in the UK and another in Italy – but they’ve now decided to put it off until next spring.
A source said: “They’re not being flashy, it’s been Mario’s dream to get married in Italy and involve all his relatives over there. But the problem is there are a couple of family members here in the UK who aren’t able to travel. Mario and Becky have decided they’ll have a smaller, intimate wedding in Italy and then they’ll have a bigger second wedding party in London with all their celeb friends and family.”

Ice-T has never had a bagel

OHMYGOSSIP — Ice-T has never eaten a bagel, or had a cup of coffee.
The 60-year-old rapper and actor shocked many of his Twitter followers on Friday (09.11.18) when he claimed he had never chowed down on the popular ringed bread product, before following it up with another tweet that said he’d also never enjoyed the caffeinated beverage.
When one fan asked him what his favourite kind of bagel is, Ice – whose real name is Tracy Marrow – said: “Lol. I’ve never eaten a Bagel in my life… (sic)”
Another follower then pointed out that his character in ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ was once seen with a cinnamon raisin bagel, but Ice claimed that he’d never actually eaten the snack.
He told them: “Lol. TV is make believe.”
And in a separate tweet, he said: “White people.. Don’t lose your Fn minds because I’ve never eaten a Bagle.. Take it easy…. lol
“I’ve never drank a cup of Coffee either… Go CRAZY!!! (sic)”
Ice’s tweets caused a storm amongst many of his followers, with several lashing out at his eating habits and slamming the fact that he’d misspelled the food item in one of his tweets.
When one pointed out that he should “learn how to spell bagel”, the ‘Ice Loves Coco’ star responded: “And you should Eat a D**k. (sic)”
The rapper then later added that he was tired of people on social media acting as though they have “superior intelligence” over him.
He wrote: “I love how the Dumbf**ks on Twitter can’t wait to act like THEY have superior intelligence if YOU misspell a word… What a life. (sic)”

Cindy Crawford wants to teach people how to grieve

OHMYGOSSIP — Cindy Crawford wants to help teach people “how to grieve” after the loss of a loved one.
The 52-year-old model and actress has teamed up with Return to Zero – a nonprofit organisation which aims to help people cope with pregnancy and infant loss – to help shed light on the impact losing a loved one can have on a person’s mental health, as she says it’s important to “talk about” the grieving process.
Cindy – who lost her brother Jeffrey to leukaemia when he was just three years told – said: “I lost a brother when I was 10 years old, which, you know, we’ve talked about before. Even then, as a 10 year old, I saw that people don’t know how to talk to you about loss right.
“I went back to school, and some kids said nothing. Some kids made jokes, and it was awkward. Grief is awkward.”
The ‘Fair Game’ star – who has son Presley, 19, and daughter Kaia, 17, with her husband Rande Gerber – then praised Return to Zero’s founders Kiley and Sean Hanish, who started the organisation after they suffered a stillbirth and struggled with the feelings of loss afterwards.
Cindy added: “We are not taught how to grieve, and one of the incredibly powerful things that these guys did with their loss is open a conversation for other families who’ve suffered similar loss. So many people have a miscarriage or stillborn birth or lose a child very quickly after it’s born, and I think we don’t know how to take care of parents.”
And the model says she couldn’t be prouder of the pair – who are now parents to two healthy children – for using their experience to help others.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: “I’m just so proud of my friends, who are using their loss to really help others on this road towards healing. You know, there is no one way, no right way, but it’s just the conversation that helps.”

Bindi Irwin hopes her father is ‘proud’ of her work

OHMYGOSSIP — Bindi Irwin hopes her late father Steve Irwin would be “proud” of the continued work his family is doing in conservation.
The 20-year-old daughter of the ‘Crocodile Hunter’ star – who was killed by a stingray whilst filming one of his documentaries on the Great Barrier Reef, near Queensland, Australia, in 2006 – has been working with her mother Terri and brother Robert to continue Steve’s conservationist work, and hopes he would be pleased with the progress they are making.
Speaking on a promotional clip for an upcoming episode of their reality show ‘Crikey! It’s the Irwins’, Bindi said: “I think that maybe Dad might be out there somewhere, smiling, going, ‘You beauty. You’re using the boat. I hope he’d be proud of us and I hope he’d be happy to see all the wonderful turtle releases we’ve done.”
The clip shows Bindi and her mother releasing a turtle named Eurong back into the ocean, whilst Robert headed into the water with his camera equipment to film the occasion.
Bindi added: “This is the most important part of our lives. Months of work has gone into protecting this beautiful little life, and to come to the moment to release Eurong back to the wild. This is what we live for.
“It’s such a special moment for us as a family. This is what we love. It’s what we do. It’s who we are. And we will work to the best of our ability to be able to release every single animal back out into the wild.”
Her comments come after she recently took to Instagram to pay a heartfelt tribute to her father on the 12th anniversary of his passing.
In September, Bindi uploaded a childhood photo of her with her father, Terri, 54, and Robert, 14, and wrote: “Together Forever (sic)”

Jimmy Kimmel praises Sarah Silverman’s ‘underrated’ talent

OHMYGOSSIP — Jimmy Kimmel has praised his former partner Sarah Silverman as a “great comedian and vastly underrated actress”.
The ‘Sarah Silverman Program’ star was honoured with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday (09.11.18), and Jimmy – whom she dated for seven years between 2001 and 2008 – gave a moving speech at the ceremony, where he gushed over her extensive list of talents.
He said: “Sarah, you really do deserve this honour. You rank among the great comedians. I think you are a vastly underrated and excellent actress. You sing, you write, you kind of play guitar, you really can do it all.”
But the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ host, 50, couldn’t resist poking fun at his former beau either, as he mentioned her viral video ‘I’m F***ing Matt Damon’, and also joked about their relationship.
He added: “Who can forget her smash hit viral video, ‘I’m effing Matt Damon’? I know I can’t. Sarah won an Emmy for that appearance on my show. Just to be clear, I have never won an Emmy for an appearance on my show.
“Sarah and I dated for seven years. She mentioned me in her 300-page autobiography four times. I looked it up last night. She mentioned farting 13 times. It has always been her first love.”
Jimmy also spoke about the first time they met, where he revealed she called him “fat” and said he had “no charisma”.
He teased: “The first time I met Sarah was in 2001, at the Comedy Central Roast of Hugh Hefner. She was very nice to me before the show and then once we got on stage, I introduced her and she said, ‘Jimmy Kimmel, everyone! He’s fat and has no charisma.'”
Sarah’s spot on the famous sidewalk puts her next to beloved American television personality Fred Rogers – most commonly known as Mr. Rogers – and she couldn’t be happier with the placement.
The 47-year-old comedian said: “I can’t believe it, I’m next to my number one hero, Mr. Rogers. He taught me I’m the only one qualified in the whole world to be me and that I deserve love, just only the way I am. And now I literally get to be his neighbour forever, which I have to think is maybe bittersweet for him.”

Alexander Skarsgard wants to marry someone British

OHMYGOSSIP — Alexander Skarsgard wants to marry a British girl.
The 42-year-old actor – who is currently single – hails from Stockholm in Sweden, but doesn’t think he’ll end up tying the knot with someone Swedish, as he instead has his heart set on finding a woman from Britain.
When asked if he thinks he’ll marry someone Swedish, he said: “No, I think British. From a very early age, I’ve always thought I’ll end up with a Brit. There’s something about the mentality. Brits have a sensibility that I respond to. They make fun of themselves in a way that I really appreciate.”
Most recently, the ‘Big Little Lies’ star romanced British model Alexa Chung, and says that whilst he and the brunette beauty are still “close friends”, he’s determined to meet the right person before he thinks about settling down.
He added: “I’m not going to settle and say, ‘Oh, you’re all right – let’s make a family.’ I’m more romantic than that. I have friends who’ve done that and they’re not happy, and then they go through horrible divorces. I was with a girl for a couple of years and it ended up not working out, but we’re still close friends.”
Alexander says he’s in no rush to find his perfect partner just yet, but also claims he isn’t “avoiding” the subject either, as he’s instead leaving it entirely up to chance.
Speaking to The Times newspaper, he said: “That’s not to say I want to wait until I’m 65. I come from a huge family and I hope one day to have that myself. But I am having the time of my life: I’m working with extraordinary film-makers. I feel like I’m in a good space. I’m not avoiding a relationship, but I’m also not desperate for it. If it happens, it happens.”
