OHMYGOSSIP — Carson Daly talks to his children about being in couples therapy.
The ‘Today’ co-host – who has Jackson, 15, Etta, 11, London, nine, and Goldie, four, with wife Siri Pinter – believes in speaking openly with his kids and is happy to let them know that marriage is “hard” and takes work.
He told People magazine: “I’ve always talked to them like they were 30 years old. I’ve always intellectually given them the benefit of the doubt to rise the intellectual occasion when I’m kind of kicking the knowledge and I do it a lot.
“My wife and I have gone through couples therapy where they’ve walked in the room on Zoom and it’s not like I hide it. ‘Hey, what are you guys doing?’ ‘Oh, we’re doing, mom and I do our couples therapy. We get to do it once a week.’
“ ‘Marriage is hard. This helps mom and dad out.’ That’s how I talk to my kids.”
The 51-year-old presenter has discussed the importance of looking after mental health with his children for their “whole lives”.
He said: “Their whole lives, they know two types [of health], there’s physical health and mental health.
“If you hurt your wrist at school, you go to the doctor. And if you’re feeling sad and you really don’t know why or if there’s something going on in your mind, you’re having a hard time grappling with, you talk to somebody about that too.”
Carson first up about his own struggles with anxiety and panic disorder on ‘Today’ in 2018 and he found that after speaking out, he was approached by others keen to share their own stories.
He said: “People just kept coming up to me and kind of winking and like, ‘Hey man, thanks for talking about that panic attack. I have them too.’
“I think people have this idea that people who had mental health issues, at least at the time, they were somehow reserved for really a certain sect of society that was in the shadows, if you will.
“There’s tons of sort of high-functioning versions of people who are struggling in silence.
“I think maybe for a moment in time I represented that and I was really glad to, to be honest with you, I never regretted it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Downey Jr. has hailed Johnny Depp as “an artist through and through”.
The 59-year-old actor has thrown his support behind his “brother” after attending the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star’s ‘A Bunch of Stuff’ immersive and experimental art exhibition in Manhattan.
He wrote on Instagram: “Wow… Don’t miss A Bunch of Stuff now on exhibition at the Starrett-[Lehigh] Building in NYC.
“My brother JD is an artist through and through, no surprise, just delight.”
The ‘Iron Man’ star shared a video of himself at the exhibit, giving his followers a glimpse at some of the artwork and blowing a kiss to the camera.
He said: “That’s my boy! Alright, let’s take a look at the show.”
The two pals have been supporting each other, as Johnny, AGE, recently went to see his longtime friend in his first Broadway role.
He is currently staring in new play ‘McNeal’ at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre.
Johnny wrote on Instagram last week: “Most fortunate to witness my dear, brilliant friend Bob Downey and the superb cast of ‘McNeal’ last night at @lctheater.
“Outstanding! Go see it if you can!!!”
Johnny’s exhibition includes artwork going back to his early 20s, and features some personal artifacts and phemera from his own homes and art studios.
He previously described art as his “sanctuary”, while insisting the process of actually making something isn’t always “comfortable”.
He told People magazine in a statement last month: “Through the magic and madness of life, art has been my sanctuary.
“These pieces, born of different stages of my journey are a residue of a life lived. Creation is not always a comfortable process, but for me it’s a necessary one.”
The exhibition has been pulled together by BAUART, which is a creator of exhibits, museums and experiences.
The organisation’s co-founder Guy Vesey added: “We believe ‘A Bunch of Stuff’ will leave audiences inspired to create; to realise, as Depp exemplifies, that art can be more than just paint on canvas.
“That it can be healing, transformative and empowering for all ages, no matter your background or experience.”

The 32-year-old model – who is the daughter of Jerry Hall and Rolling Stones legend Sir Mick Jagger – and her skateboarder boyfriend Cambryan Sedlick welcomed their baby boy into the world last month.
In an Instagram post on Thursday (10.10.24), she said: “Our Son Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick was born September 30th.
“We are so in Love and happy and can’t stop staring at him. Thanks @cambryans for being so incredible through everything and taking such good care of us.”
Georgia’s mother shared the announcement shortly before her daughter alongside a polaroid style snap of the pair.
She captioned the post: “Georgia May and my grandson Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick.”
The new parents have been flooded with well wishes and congratulatory messages from Georgia’s famous pals and fans.

Georgia revealed she was pregnant back in June alongside a series of snaps of her growing baby bump.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Paul came up with a “crazy” plan to take his own life after his career was “ruined”.
The 27-year-old social media star had already faced criticism for complaints about wild partying and causing a public nuisance in his Los Angeles neighbourhood when he found himself caught up in further controversy after his older brother, Logan Paul, encountered a suicide victim in a “suicide forest” in Japan and shared the footage on his YouTube channel.
While Jake wasn’t involved in his sibling’s content, he still lost endorsement deals and hit rock bottom, leading to him spiralling out of control.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “I got lumped into all my brother’s hate. It was like, ‘F*** the Pauls. F*** both of those people.’ It was bad.
“The suicide forest thing basically ruined my career and income. I lost probably $30 million in deals. There was one $15 million deal for retail products that fell apart. They were able to get out of it because of a morality clause…
“Basically, life hit me in the face, and it was like, ‘Who are you? What have you been doing the past couple of years?’ It led to drinking and drugs and Los Angeles and going to parties and just that whole entire world. I got sucked up into it really quickly.
“And so there I am: No money, kind of hating myself, the whole world hates me. I’m drinking. I’m depressed and not having a good relationship with either of my parents or Logan.
“And I was just like, ‘F*** this s***.’ I just felt wrong in life and by all the cards I had been dealt. It was f***** up. I just tried to do good my whole life and here I am with what felt like nothing.
“I had a plan. I mean, it’s f****** crazy. I was going to put a bunch of gas cans in my Lamborghini and get really drunk and drive off the top of this cliff in Calabasas. It’s called Stunt Road.”
But ultimately, Jake refused to let his critics “win”.
He said: “I was not going to let them win. I was like, ‘I’m going to fight. This is what every social media hater wants is to wake up and see Jake Paul killed himself.’ ”
And the controversial star credits boxing for saving his life.
He explained: “It’s purpose, routine, health, community — all the things I needed.
“Since 2020, it’s been boxing’s number one and everything else comes after that. I never really liked YouTube. I was just good at it.”

The ‘Goodrich’ actress admitted she couldn’t worry more about 10-year-old Wyatt and seven-year-old Dimitri – who she has with husband Ashton Kutcher – so she’s always ready for the worst case scenario.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I worry about my children all the time.
“It’s humanly impossible for me to worry more. If that’s the case I will self-combust.
“Ashton says that I account for the worst of everything at all times. Like, I account for the escape plan all the time.”
Meanwhile, Ashton recently reflected on how he parents his two children differently because he is more protective of his daughter than his son.
Speaking on the ‘Throwbacks’ podcast, he said: “I don’t know if it equates to being a girl dad or it equates to her being my first, but when I had my daughter, I had never been so in love in my entire life.
“And Mila and I talked about it a lot. Like, I’ve never loved anyone this much. Ever.”
Discussing how he parents his kids “differently”, he added: “My son, I’m always like, ‘Yeah, let’s go for it.’ Like, yesterday we’re popping wheelies on a bicycle in the driveway or it’s like, ‘See if you can jump down four stairs.’
“[With] my daughter I just want to protect her. When my son cries, I’m like, ‘All right, what did we learn? Let’s move on.’ But when my daughter cries, my heart is out of my body and I can’t put it back in.”
The ‘Vengeance’ actor noted the “toxic masculinity” he’s experienced through his life has allowed him to treat his son differently, but admitted Mila also adopts different approaches with their two kids.
He said: “I also notice the same thing with my wife, like, she’s very strict on our daughter and, like, a gushball with our son.
“I think we balance each other in that way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyson Fury has admitted dealing with his mental health is a “constant battle”.
The 36-year-old boxing legend has been candid about his struggles with depression, and he has reflected as part of World Mental Health Day (10.10.24) to encourage others to get help.
In an interview for the Manchester United website, he said: “It can break the strongest of people. Look at me, I was undefeated world heavyweight champion, and it brought me to my knees.
“It’s a constant battle, daily. It never goes away. You’ve just gotta learn to maintain and manage it a bit better than you did before.”
Tyson reflected on how he was has been championing the cause for almost a decade now, but he noted the barriers to had to overcome before opening up.
He explained: “It was difficult at first. Who do you speak to, where do you go, who is it that you’re gonna try and express your feelings to?
“That was the most difficult part of it all, coming out and trying to get help. I think I first spoke about it with my wife.
“Even if you don’t go to a doctor or somebody quickly, then speak to your friend, your partner, whoever it might be, because help is around the corner.”
The athlete insisted his “biggest mistake” was waiting as long as he did.
He added: “My biggest mistake was, I dind’t go 10 years earlier and try and seek help. I think the major thing is, you’ve gotta really accept that you need help first.”
And he encourage everyone to communicate and seek help, whoever it’s from, because it’s never too late.
He said: “No matter what stage you’re at with it all, there’s always a return. It won’t be grey every day, there will be sunshine days again. That’s the promise, for sure.”

The 34-year-old actor – who has been tipped to be the next James Bond after Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 in 2021’s ‘No Time To Die’ – has been found to be 90.04 percent accurate to the ‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which measures physical perfection.
Computerised facial mapping techniques used for the measurements were developed by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, and he found Aaron to be the “clear winner”.
Dr Julian de Silva, who runs the Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London, said: “Aaron was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.
“What makes Aaron so exceptional is the overall shape of his face, which, with a score of 99.2 percent, is only 0.8 percent off being perfect.
“The width and length of his nose is almost perfect, too, at 98.8 percent. He also has a beautifully sculpted chin which scored well at 95 percent.
“All his scores were really strong except for his eye spacing at 89 percent, the gap between his nose and lip (89.6 percent) and his lips (86 percent).”
Meanwhile, if Aaron was to become Bond in the next big screen adventure, Dr. De Silva revealed he would be the most handsome 007 ever.
He added: “Aaron’s 93.04 percent score is well ahead of Sean Connery, in second place with 89.2 percent, with Roger Moore in third on 88.8 percent and Daniel Craig in last place – behind George Lazenby – on 84.2 percent.”
He was followed closely behind in the most handsome actor rankings by ‘Emily In Paris’ star Lucien Laviscount, 32, who had a score of 92.41 percent, while Paul Mescal (92.38), Robert Pattinson (92.15) and Jack Lowden (90.33) rounded off the top five.

OHMYGOSSIP — Yung Filly has been arrested and charged with sexual assault.
The 29-year-old British YouTuber and rapper – whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos – appeared on court this week after being arrested in Australia and accused of raping a woman in his hotel room in Perth after a show.
According to reports, he was arrested in Brisbane on Tuesday (08.10.24) before being extradited to Perth the next day.
He has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s on September 28 after a performance at Bar1 Nightclub the previous night.
He has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault, and one count of impede a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.
Barrientos – who hosts programmes like ‘Hot Property’ and ‘Yung Filly’s Celeb Lock-in’ for the BBC – appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday (10.10.10).
He spoke only to confirm his name, and acknowledge the charges against him.
As reported by ABC Australia, his case was adjourned and he has been granted conditional bail, including a ban on contacting the alleged victim, or posting on anything about the case on social media.
The YouTuber boasts over three million followers on Instagram alone, with the same number on TikTok and 1.8 million subscribers on YouTube.
In a statement, Western Australia Police said: “This investigation is ongoing and Sex Assault Squad detectives urge anyone with information relating to this matter, or any similar incidents, to call Crime Stoppers.”
He previously appeared on Channel 4’s ‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off’ in 2022, while he has collaborated with fellow YouTuber Chunkz and the Beta Squad.
In his music career, he team up with Chunkz on UK top 30 single ‘Hold’ in 2020, and earlier this year he released ‘Grey’, which has racked up 63 million Spotify streams.
He has over two million monthly listeners on the streaming platform.

OHMYGOSSIP — Hoda Kotb has revealed her daughter is “thriving” and “improving” in her health battle.
The 60-year-old news anchor has given an update on her five-year-old girl Hope’s ongoing health struggled after suffered a sudden medical crisis – which has not been specified for her privacy – in February 2023, with moving from New York City to Westchester to help with her journey long-term journey.
Reflecting on the last six months, Hoda – who also has seven-year-old daughter Haley – told People magazine that “things have stabilised”.
She said: “We’re in a place where Hope is thriving. She’s improving, we’re watching her, and I think as time goes on, we’ll have a better handle on it, but we’re already seeing great differences.
“We really have excellent care; I have people helping us out. I feel like she is finding steady footing.”
Over the summer, Hoda revealed that the motivation behind the move was to give her children a better quality of life away from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.
Speaking to the same outlet, she explained: “I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs.
“I just see that life for them in this perfect house in this beautiful little town where I know they’ll be able to blossom into beautiful, independent, strong women.”
As well as the big move, Hoda also announced last month she will stepping down from the ‘Today’ show after 17 years as she aims to focus on her family.
In a letter to staff shared on September 26, she wrote: “My broadcast career has been beyond meaningful, a new decade of my life lies ahead, and now my daughters and my mom need and deserve a bigger slice of my time pie.”
She’ll be officially leaving the programme at the start of 2025, but she’ll still remain with the network in other roles.

The Oasis brothers recently shocked the world by putting an end to their long sibling rivalry and announced a huge reunion tour for 2025, but the 52-year-old singer claimed the pair won’t be speaking to the press before their first live shows since 2009.

The Indian business leader – whose Tata Group was involved in a number of high-profile takeovers including Jaguar, Land Rover and Tetley – passed away in hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday (08.10.24) at the age of 86, and the ‘Quantico’ actress was among those to pay tribute to the tycoon and philanthropist.

Singer Diljit Dosanjh paused his concert in Germany to pay tribute to Ratan.
He told the audience: “From all that I’ve read and learnt about him, I’ve never seen him speak ill of anyone. He was always helpful and dedicated to doing well for others.”
Salman Khan also used X to pay tribute.
He simply wrote: “Deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Ratan Tata.”
Actress Anushka Sharma was also “deeply saddened” by the news.

Business leaders, politicians and celebrities joined thousands of people paying their respects to Tata as his body lay in state before being cremated.
Maharashtra state declared a day of mourning and his coffin was given a military salute as it was taken away for the funeral rituals.

The 62-year-old pop star was due to kick off her ‘Straight Up! To Canada’ tour in late September but pulled the plug just weeks beforehand because she needed to undergo surgery and now just has one more to go.
She told UsWeekly: “I’m recovering well. I have already had one procedure done. I have one more to go, but I’m guaranteed eight weeks I’ll be Humpty Dumpty back together again.”
But the ‘Opposites Attract’ hitmaker – who returned to touring in 2018 after almost 30 years away – is sure that she will be back on the road when she is able to because she is keen to see the rest of the world and perform for her fans around the globe.
She said: “I had the best time just coming off this tour and there’s still the rest of the world to see and to be able to perform in front of.”
Just weeks ago, the former ‘American Idol’ judge took to social media to apologise to her fans that her tour had to be cancelled.
She wrote on Instagram: “It’s with an incredibly heavy heart that I need to share with you an update regarding some injuries I’ve recently sustained. In an effort to keep going, I’ve received targeted injections that will allow me temporary relief, but the demands of an entire tour is a different story.
“After multiple consultations with my doctors and exploring all available options, I’ve been advised that one of my injuries requires a minor procedure followed by a 6-8 week recovery time, therefore it will prohibit me from proceeding with the ‘Straight Up! OHMYGOSSIP — Ethel Kennedy has died at the age of 96.
The human rights advocate – who was the wife of late U.S. senator Robert F. Kennedy, and a sister-in-law of President John F. Kennedy – suffered a stroke earlier this week and on Thursday (10.10.24), her daughter Kerry revealed that she had passed away.
She wrote on X: “It is with our hearts full of love that we announce the passing of our mother, Ethel Kennedy. She died this morning from complications related to a stroke suffered last week. Along with a lifetime’s work in social justice and human rights, our mother leaves behind nine children, 34 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom love her dearly.”
Ethel had 10 other children with Robert, including Kathleen, Joseph, Robert Jr., David, who passed away aged just 28 in 1984, Courtney, Michael – who died in 1997 at the age of 39 in a skiing accident – Christopher, Maxwell, Douglas, and Rory.
They tied the knot in 1950, and she never remarried following his death in 1968 at the age of 42.
Robert was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel, during celebrations following his successful campaign in California’s primary elections as a Democratic presidential candidate, five years on from his own brother’s assassination during his time in office.
Following this, Ethel founded of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Centre and also co-chaired the Coalition of Gun Control.
Kerry added: “She was a devout Catholic and a daily communicant, and we are comforted in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life, our father, Robert F. Kennedy; her children David and Michael; her daughter-in-law Mary; her grandchildren Maeve and Saoirse; and her great-grandchildren Gideon and Josie.

The Oscar winning actress, now 77, has opened up on the traumatic experience which happened before the United States Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which was overturned in 2022.
Alongside an emotional Instagram video, she voiced her support for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and other candidates “that could protect reproductive freedom.
She added in the caption: “I’ve been so hesitant to do this, to tell my horrific story. It was during a time even worse than now. A time when contraception was not readily available and only if you were married.
“But I feel that so many women of my generation went through similar, traumatic events and I feel stronger when I think of them. I believe, like me, they must want to fight for their grandchildren and all the young women of this country.
She said in the video: “I had no choices in my life; I didn’t have a lot of family support or finances. I had graduated high school, but no one ever said, ‘How about college?’
“Nothing. I didn’t know what was gonna be. And then I found out I was pregnant… I still feel very shamed about it because I was raised in the ’50s, and it’s ingrained in me.”
Sally recalled how a family friend, who was a doctor, drove her with her mother to Mexico for the procedure.
She continued: “We parked on a really scrungy-looking street, scary. And he parked about three blocks away and said, ‘See that building down there?’
“And he gave me an envelope with cash, and I was to walk into that building and give them the cash and then come right back to him.”
She had “no anesthetic” for the procedure, besides a “technician giving me a few puffs of ether”, which gave her a sense of numbness but didn’t stop the pain.
She alleged the techniciain was sexually assaulting her doing the procedure, which pushed her into an “absolute pit of shame”.
She added: “And then, when it was finished, they said, ‘Go go go go go!’, like the building was on fire. And they didn’t want me there, you know, it was illegal.”
She insisted that since Roe v. Wade was overturned two years ago, women are having to go through similar “hideous” experience.
She said: “And it’s beyond, how you can go back to that and do that to our little girls and our young women, and not have respect and regard for their health and their own decisions about whether they feel they’re able to give birth to a child at that time.
“We can’t go back. We have to all stand up and fight.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Oliver was “embarrassed” by the idea of renewing his wedding vows.
The 49-year-old ‘Naked Chef’ star and his wife Jools – who have kids Poppy, 21, Daisy, 20, Petal, 14, Buddy, 12, and River, seven, together – got married in 2000 and decided to renew their vows on a family holiday to the Maldives, but Jeremy had his reservations.
Appearing on the ‘Newlyweds’ podcast, he said: “We were going to renew our vows at 20 years and then covid happened.
“So, it was at 23 years. The girls were leaving for university and stuff, so it did feel like the nest was starting to break up’.
“We’d never been on what you would call a posh holiday, so we went to the Maldives.
“I was a bit embarrassed about the whole thing, if I’m really honest, and I wasn’t so into it until we got there.”
However, Jamie ended up loving the whole experience “more than anyone”, and he insisted it was much less “awkward” than his actual wedding day.
He recalled: “The first time you get married, it’s like, it just feels a bit awkward and embarrassing.
“But if you ever get married again, if you get to 10 years or 20 years, the words are different. Because you’ve earned every single line and it was really, really emotional.
“The words are still the same words, but they mean different things.
“Basically, like s*** we’ve done it like, wow. And then you look around, there’s all these amazing kids that you’ve made. Yeah, it was incredible.”
Last year, Jamie shared photos from the wedding renewal and admitted it was “really special, funny and romantic”.
He wrote on Instagram: “After 23 years together, we thought it would be a special moment to celebrate renewing our wedding vows before the kids all start leaving the nest.
“It was really special, funny and romantic with the words in the ceremony making more sense having come this far together.”
He added: “We’ve always dreamed of going to the Maldives and it was just as you would have dreamed, simply amazing !”
