OHMYGOSSIP — Damian Lewis has been banned from cooking for his vegetarian daughter.
The ‘Homeland’ star, 53, is dad to daughter Manon, 18, and son Gulliver, 16, with his late wife Helen McCrory and he’s revealed his eldest has gone meat-free and will no longer let him make dinner for her because his “vegetarian cooking is poor”.
During an appearance on the ‘Dish’ podcast Nick Grimshaw and Angela Harnett, Damian explained: “Yeah, I do cook. I like it. My daughter won’t let me cook for her anymore.
“She’s vegetarian and she’s become very particular about how she cooks. I bought her an air fryer.”
He added: “My vegetarian cooking is poor. If Manon lets me make something for her, it’s probably, it’s probably half a big pepper filled with something.
“We might do a vegetarian chilli to go in it. So it’s quite basic”.
Damian went on to reveal both his children developed a taste for “adult food” early on and they became obsessed with Italian chain Carluccio’s – so he decided to attempt to cook an octopus dish for them and it went horribly wrong.
He explained: “We made the mistake early on with our kids, or not the mistake, because it’s really nice, of just not always feeding them baked beans when they were hungry.
“Yeah, so they’re always trying to eat adult food. But then my two, very young, North London, privileged children developed a taste for Carluccio’s. And only Carluccio’s.
“So, we couldn’t go past the Carluccio’s with, you know, some snotty five year old going, ‘Po po. Daddy, let’s go in and eat octopus’. So then I decided, sod that I’m going to cook an octopus myself. And it was terrible.”
Damian added: “I just sort of just dehydrated this, and it was a whole octopus. I said, ‘Give me the whole octopus. I want to cut it. I want to get it into the rings. I want to do the whole thing myself’.
“I boiled it with salt and shallots, and a bit of white wine or white wine vinegar, and sort of part boiled, part steamed it …That’s what it was. It was a drowning octopus. There were a lot of legs.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s family have paid tribute to the star and his “kind, funny and brave soul”.
The former One Direction singer passed away at the age of 31 on Wednesday (16.10.24) after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina and his “heartbroken” relatives – parents Geoff and Karen and sisters Nicola and Ruth – have appealed for “privacy and space”.
They said in a statement: “We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul.
“We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space during this awful time.”
Liam’s older sisters were seen arriving at their parents’ Wolverhampton home early on Thursday (17.10.24) morning and an unnamed family member at the property previously told MailOnline: “We are utterly devastated by the news.”
Staff at Modest Management, who managed One Direction, have been left “absolutely devastated” by the death of Liam, who had seven-year-old son Bear with former partner Cheryl Tweedy.
They said in a statement: “We are absolutely devastated by the tragic news of Liam Payne’s passing. Liam was a huge part of the historic success of One Direction and brought so much pleasure to millions of fans around the globe. Our thoughts go out to all his family, his son Bear and all friends.
“Sending deep love and condolences from the Modest! family…..forever in our hearts Payno.”
Meanwhile, two of Liam’s old schools have paid tribute to the ‘Strip That Down’ hitmaker.
City of Wolverhampton College shared a photo of a teenage Liam at a mixing desk on X and wrote: “We were sorry to hear the news about former student Liam Payne and wish to extend our sympathies to his family and friends at this very sad time.”
And St Peter’s Collegiate Academy Wolverhampton said it was “deeply saddened” by the news.
The establishment released a statement which read: “During his time at St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, Liam was not only well-liked by his peers and teachers but also recognised for his talents.
“He made a positive impact on our school community, and his contributions will be remembered.
“Our thoughts are with Liam’s family and friends during this difficult time. We extend our sincere condolences to all those affected by his passing.”

The former One Direction singer passed away on Wednesday (16.10.24) at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Argentina, and Kelsey Parker has recalled the support he gave her family both while the Wanted star was battling a brain tumour and in the wake of his death in March 2022.
Kelsey wrote on Instagram: “Devastated hearing the news.
“Liam you were one of the kindest souls who supported Tom and I. You’ve continued to support me and the children in recent years [heart emoji]
“I will never forget the love and support you showed to us.
“I really hope you have found peace [prayer emoji]

Kelsey also urged fans to remember “life is too damn short.”

Kelsey’s posts came shortly after Tom’s bandmate Max George also thanked Liam for his support when the ‘Glad You Came’ hitmaker passed away.
Max wrote alongside a number of photos: “Absolutely devastating news.
“I met Liam way back when 1D were on ‘X Factor’. Over the last few years I had the pleasure of getting to know him personally and spent some treasured time with him.
“Liam was absolutely wonderful in terms of support when Tom fell ill, performing at the Royal Albert Hall with us for Stand Up To Cancer.
“He supported me a lot personally after Tom passed. I will never forget that,.

The 39-year-old ‘Pitch Perfect’ has revealed she doesn’t plan to start a family any time soon and revealed her worries over the unequal division of domestic labour is part of her decision not to have children.
When asked whether she still feels as if “motherhood isn’t for me”, Anna told Flow Space: “I was thinking recently about a phrase I’ve heard men say about their desire to have children in the future, and it occurred to me: I don’t think I’ve ever heard a woman say that.
“And the thing they’ll say is, ‘Yeah, maybe one day – a couple of kids running around’. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a woman say that!
“Because it paints a certain visual, yes? That you come home at the end of your work day, and you put down your proverbial briefcase, and you’re making yourself a cocktail, and a woman in a Laura Ashley dress is out in the yard, and there’s a couple of kids – in white! – running around. Um, ‘Where are you in that, sir?’”
Anna went on to explain she wants to talk to her female friends – who are mothers – about it but feels she can’t bring up the subject because she doesn’t have kids of her own. She added: “I don’t know, there’s something about that phrase that really starts to rub me the wrong way. It’s like when I hear husbands say they want to ‘help out’ with the kids.
“And it’s two working parents! And I always want to kind of say something, and then I’m just like, ‘Well, I’m the childless cat lady. I’m not gonna say s***’.”
Anna’s comments appear to make reference to Republican Vice Presidential nominee JD Vance, who previously described leading Democrats as “a bunch of childless cat ladies”.
She previously shared her views on starting a family in an interview with the Guardian newspaper, admitting she doesn’t even feel “responsible” enough to own a cat.
Anna explained: “Here’s the best argument for why I don’t have kids. [I was falling asleep to TikTok cat videos] and I thought: ‘I’d have an easier time falling asleep with the weight of a cat on me. But I’m not responsible enough to own a cat. Someone should really make a robot cat that does all the purring and the kneading.’
“And then I was like: wait, I’m not even up to the ‘cat lady’ part! Why would anyone trust me with a kid?”

The ‘Barbie’ actress, 34, is pregnant with her and husband Tom Ackerley’s baby and although she likes to keep “busy” with her work, she has been taking some time out before the little one arrives.
An insider told PEOPLE: “Margot absolutely can’t wait.
“She looks amazing.
“She’s usually one of the hardest working actresses in Hollywood. She seems to enjoy some downtime from filming now though.”
It was reported in July that Margot and Tom, also 34 – who produce blockbusters together under their LuckyChap Entertainment banner – were expecting their first child.
Margot was photographed with an obvious baby bump while boarding a boat during a holiday to Lake Como.
She had kept the news to herself while filming ‘ A Big Bold Beautiful Journey’ alongside Colin Farrell, in a bid to remain “professional” throughout the process.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sydney Sweeney helped police catch a burglar.
The ‘Anyone But You’ actress was filming on the East Coast when her security cameras alerted her to a person sneaking around the grounds of her Los Angeles property at around 3.30am on Monday (14.10.24) before making their way over to her neighbour’s home.
According to TMZ, the intruder entered the neighbour’s house and stole unspecified items but because Sydney alerted the authorities to the situation at her home, police were able to rush to the adjacent property and surrounding area, resulting in the suspect behind apprehended.
The alleged culprit has now been charged with felony burglary, largely due to the ‘Euphoria’ star’s quick thinking.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actress recently dismissed speculation she relies on her fiance Jonathan Davino – who she got engaged to last year after five years together – for financial support.
She told Glamour magazine: “I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard. I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family.”
Sydney went on to insist her 40-year-old partner is not a financial backer for her Fifty-Fifty Films production company, but she does like to use him as a sounding board for her ideas.
She added: “I would love to set the record straight. You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man. We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.”
The ‘White Lotus’ star went on to reveal she doesn’t take her financial security for granted since she started earning big bucks in Hollywood and she will never be able to feel “comfortable” because her parents previously went through bankruptcy .

OHMYGOSSIP — Jerry Seinfeld was “wrong” to blame the “extreme left” for killing comedy.
The 70-year-old star caused a stir earlier this year when he argued TV comedy was in crisis because writers worried too much about “offending other people”, but he has now backtracked on his comments and admitted he “regrets” what he said.
Appearing on Tom Papa’s ‘Breaking Bread’ podcast, he said of his “wrong” remarks: “I said that the ‘extreme left’ has suppressed the art of comedy. I did say that. That’s not true. It’s not true.
“If you’re a champion skier, you can put the gates anywhere you want on the mountain and you’re going to make the gate. That’s comedy. Whatever the culture is, we make the gate. You don’t make the gate, you’re out of the game. The game is, ‘where is the gate, how do I make the gate and get down the hill the way I want to?’
“Does culture change? And are there things that I used to say that I can’t say because people are always moving [the gate]? Yes, but that’s the biggest, easiest target.
“You can’t say certain words, whatever they are, about groups. So what? The accuracy of your observation has to be 100 times finer than that, to just be a comedian … so I don’t think, as I said, the ‘extreme left’ has done anything to inhibit the art of comedy. I’m taking that back now, officially. They have not.”
The ‘Seinfeld’ star insisted it is not his “business” to be happy or not with the current “culture” of the comedy scene, but he needs to work to stay relevant.
He added: “It is not my business to like or not like where the culture is at. It is my business to make the gate, to stay with my skiing analogy.”
And Jerry denied ever suggesting he didn’t want to perform at colleges anymore because young people are too politically correct.
He said: “I play colleges all the time. I have no problem with kids, performing for them … I do colleges all the time.”
In his original remarks, the veteran comedian warned “the extreme left and PC c***” had led to a decline in comedy shows on TV.
He told the New Yorker: “Nothing really affects comedy. People always need it. They need it so badly and they don’t get it,” he said. “It used to be, you would go home at the end of the day, most people would go, ‘Oh, ‘Cheers’ is on. Oh, ‘M*A*S*H’ is on. Oh, ‘Mary Tyler Moore…’ is on. ‘All in the Family’ is on.’ You just expected, ‘There’ll be some funny stuff we can watch on TV tonight.’ Well, guess what – where is it?
“This is the result of the extreme left and PC c***, and people worrying so much about offending other people … When you write a script, and it goes into four or five different hands, committees, groups – ‘Here’s our thought about this joke’ – well, that’s the end of your comedy.”

The Spice Girl – who is also known as Ginger Spice – is known for her children’s books but has now revealed she is keen to embark on a new chapter in her author career and wants to spice things up by penning “something filthy”.
Speaking at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, she spilled: “I’d like to write something you wouldn’t want your children to read.
“You’d be, like, ‘No, that’s too rude’. I’d like to write something filthy.
When asked if she means “Porn?”, she replied: “Got it.”
The 52-year-old singer expressing her desire to pen an erotic tale comes after she previously admitted she was keen to study English or History at university.
The pop star missed out on the chance to go to university when she was young because she was busy chasing her dream of working in the entertainment industry but admitted she longs to continue learning and she’s thinking about taking a course to help her expand her knowledge.
Speaking on the ‘Headliners’ podcast, she explained: “Education is like your superpower in your back pocket. I am so grateful that I have had one.
I was thinking about maybe going back to education. I think so at some point – English or history. I’d probably study the Tudors and Anne Boleyn because I feel she was shamed for being smart. If you really unpack that narrative, she was completely thrown under the bus.”
In 2022, Geri was awarded an honorary degree from Sheffield Hallam University in recognition of her activism.
The ‘Say You’ll Be There’ hitmaker returned to the same university last year to give a guest lecture to creative writing and marketing students about how she wrote her first children’s novel ‘Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen’.
Geri said: “It was wonderful to return to Sheffield Hallam and speak about my journey as an author. I’m so impressed by the talent and passion I see in these young writers, and I hope I can inspire them to pursue their dreams just as I have. Education truly empowers us to achieve our potential.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne has been left “shocked” after his former guitarist, Jack E. Lee, was shot multiple times in a “random” attack in Las Vegas.
The 67-year-old musician – who was lead guitarist for the heavy metal legend between 1982 and 1987 – was out walking his dog when he became the victim of the shooting.
Police are investigating what they believe to be a “completely random” incident and Jack is expected to make a full recovery.
His representative told Rolling Stone: “Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital. He is expected to fully recover.
“Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours. As the incident is under police investigation, no further comments will be forthcoming.
“Lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy at this time.”
Reacting to the news, Ozzy, 75, branded it “just another senseless act of gun violence”.
He told TMZ: “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today.
“It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be OK.”
Ozzy’s former bandmate being shot comes after the Black Sabbath legend previously revealed he’s fed up with the levels of gun violence in America in recent years, suggesting it was partly why he wanted to move back to the UK.
He told the Observer newspaper: “Everything’s f****** ridiculous here [in America]. I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert … It’s f****** crazy.
“I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in f****** Forest Lawn [cemetery in Los Angeles]. I’m English. I want to be back … It’s time for me to come home.”

The 32-year-old actor cheered on his spouse from the front row at the event on Tuesday (15.10.24) and ahead of the event, he gushed about how proud he was of the 31-year-old beauty.
Asked if there was anything else he was looking forward to about the show’s return, he told pink carpet host Olivia Culpo: “No, I don’t care. [I’m] only interested in seeing my wife.”

He said: “I’m second-hand nervous. I couldn’t walk in my tighty whities anywhere. It’s like a lot of pressure! I hope it’s warmer in there!
“I’m always impressed and proud of her. She’s worked really, really hard for this.”
Meanwhile, the ‘My Fake Boyfriend’ actor praised Barbara for encouraging him to “dress better”.
He told E! News: “She inspires me to dress better.
“When we started dating, I was wearing Kmart white tees with the armpit stains on them.
“[She told me] ‘You need to not do that and you need to wear cologne.’ ”
Dylan and Barbara married last year and as soon as they had tied the knot, they began setting new goals for their lives.
He said: “Before getting married, your whole goal is to get married. Then, once you reached that point, your next goal is to decide what you want it to be. For some people, that’s having kids. For some people, that’s getting a house.

The NFL player, 35, has been dating the ‘Bad Blood’ singer, 34, since last summer and after the pair were recently spotted out holding hands as they headed to restaurants he opened up about how they like to spend their downtime being foodies trying different dishes from around the world.
He spoke about their love of touring different restaurants on the new episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast after his brother and show co-host Jason Kelce, 36, told him while looking at a photo of the couple out in New York: “We saw you going out to eat, it looked like maybe. You guys are out in New York City, you and Tay.”
Travis replied: “That’s what we do. We like to go out and eat.”
Travis and Taylor recently went on a double date with friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds at The Corner Store in New York’s Soho.

OHMYGOSSIP — Al Pacino ended up totally “broke” after a corrupt accountant fleeced him of $50 million.
The ‘Scarface’ actor, 84, makes the admission in his newly-released memoir ‘Sonny Boy’, in which he also opens up about his struggles to find fame and with drinking.
He said in the book about being the victim of a crooked accountant who eventually served seven-and-a-half years in prison for running a Ponzi scheme he started “to get warnings that my accountant at the time, a guy who had lots of celebrity clients, was not to be trusted” in around 2011.
The actor said he was already paying a “ridiculous amount of money to rent some big fancy house in Beverly Hills”, then he took his entire family on a trip to Europe where he flew various guests overseas on a “gorgeous Gulfstream 550” jet and rented an entire floor at the Dorchester hotel in London.
Al said it was only when he returned to his Hollywood home he became suspicious after realising his finances had not dramatically changed despite spending so much on vacation.
He said: “I thought, It’s simple. It’s clear. I just know this. Time stopped. I am f*****.
“I was broke. I had $50 million, and then I had nothing. I had property, but I didn’t have any money.
“In this business, when you make $10 million dollars for a film, it’s not $10 million.
“Because after the lawyers, and the agents, and the publicist, and the government, it’s not $10 million, it’s $4.5 million in your pocket.
“But you’re living above that because you’re high on the hog. And that’s how you lose it.
“It’s very strange, the way it happens. The more money you make, the less you have.
“The kind of money I was spending and where it was going was just a crazy montage of loss.
“The landscaper was getting $400,000 a year and, I don’t exaggerate these things. It just went on and on.
“Mind you, that was for landscaping at a house I didn’t even live in.”
Al said he was in his 70s when he learned he was bust – and added about the shock: “I wasn’t a young buck, and I was not going to be making the kind of money from acting in films that I had made before.
“The big paydays that I was used to just weren’t coming around anymore. The pendulum had swung, and I found it harder to find parts for myself.”
He said while he riding he only did films “if I thought I related to the part and felt I could bring something”.
After his cash crisis hit, Al added he agreed to star in films such as Adam Sandler’s mocked ‘Jack and Jill’ movie – and ended his ban on taking advertising work.
He said: “‘Jack and Jill’ was the first film I made after I lost my money. To be honest, I did it because I didn’t have anything else.
“Adam Sandler wanted me, and they paid me a lot for it. So I went out and did it, and it helped.
“I love Adam, he was wonderful to work with and has become a dear friend. He also just happens to be a great actor and a hell of a guy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir David Jason has hit out at “extremely difficult” Hollywood actors.
The ‘Only Fools and Horses’ actor, 84, shot to fame on sitcoms such as ‘Open All Hours’ and ‘Only Fools and Horses’, but has never able to break into America’s showbiz world.
He hit out at diva Tinseltown stars as he paid tribute to his late ‘Open All Hours’ co-star Ronnie Barker, who died in 2005 aged 76 – and who David said he nicknamed “The Governor”.
David revealed on Radio X’s ‘The Chris Moyles Show’: “Well, it’s a well-known fact that I used to call (Ronnie) ‘The Governor’.
“And he was. What was really good about Ronnie Barker, and why he was so lovely – he and I became very good friends during ‘Open All Hours’ – but the main reason why I liked him so much is that he had time for everybody.
“And he was the nicest guy that you could possibly meet, and he was at the top of his tree, for me, which is comedy acting, and I just got used to calling him ‘The Governor’.
“And so, because of that, later on when he retired, he wrote me a certificate, if you like, in wonderful old-fashioned writing.
“And it’s all done – and it’s about a foot wide by about two foot long.
“And it was, ‘It’s all done here, here by Sir Ronnie Barker, here with under following messages will give to his honourable friend, Sir David Jason, the title of ‘The Governor’ I shall now relinquish’.”
David added: “But the great thing about Ronnie B was, which I learned, which was so generous with the whole team.
“He knew that the only way you can get a successful show is to incorporate and encourage the team that you have.
“So, he had time for everybody, and he was generous of spirit and of time.
“And because you do hear – no names, no pack drill – mainly some of the big names coming out of Hollywood who can be extremely difficult and a pain.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kayne West is being accused of nearly raping his former assistant a second time.
The scandal-mired rapper, 47, who has been hit with a string of lawsuits by former employees since his infamous ant-Semitic outbursts, faces the allegation in an 88-page lawsuit filed by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta.
Details from the filing have been released by various media outlets who have viewed the papers since the weekend – with the latest being he nearly sexually abused for a second time after first allegedly drugging and raping her at a Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs recording session.
Influencer and ex-OnlyFans star Lauren is suing the disgraced rapper, claiming she only found out about the rape when he confessed in 2022.
Her amended lawsuit says he then tried to have sex with her again – and when she always refused he almost raped her a second time, the Daily Mail said about an extract from her lawsuit.
Lauren claimed it was part of Kanye’s alleged pattern of sexual harassment, which she says included groping and sharing horrific texts and fantasies.
She said after Kanye fired her in October 2022, he choked her when they ran into each other at a concert.
Lauren also said he had friends terrorise her at home.
Her court filing states Kanye and his staff were in San Francisco in July 2021 during work on his ‘Donda’ album.
Lauren was staying at the St Regis Hotel at the time, and claimed West thumped on the door of her room at 6am a few days into the trip.
She said he shoved past her when she opened the door and said he needed to use her shower because his was “out of order”.
She claimed after he stripped and started running water he came into the bedroom naked except for a hotel towel he was holding at his waist.
Lauren added Kanye – who calls himself Ye – then dropped it and pushed her onto the bed before climbing climbed on top of her and tried to perform a sex act on his employee.
Her filing stated: “Ye then stepped onto the bed and stood tall, straddling himself over (Lauren’s) body and looking down on her.
“In a shocked state, (she) somewhat braced herself for what might happen next.”
Kanye has previously denied her claims, branding any allegations from Lauren “baseless”.
Lauren’s lawsuit claims he “roofied” her using a drink before raping her at a party with disgraced rap mogul Combs, 54, who is now in jail in New York awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution.
Her filing also says Kanye had an “obsession” with wanting to bed his partners’ mothers, which she said was part of his “kink”.
